Dan was able to look the computer over that day and, unfortunately, had to give me the bad news that is was truly dead. He was able to export my files, folders and web bookmarks off the computer and import them to my new computer. This was all within 3 days! I contacted Dan, as I had heard about his service. I live in Iowa, which is out of state from Colorado. I did not know if this was possible. It was. I used Dans computer service digitally. Dan is a lifesaver when it comes to fixing any computer and setting up your new computer when the old one dies,which happens fairly frequently with my kids. With new models coming out weekly with more bell and whistles than you ever will need, it takes a PhD just to figure out how to turn these new computers on. In the course of 20 years of running a small business, Ive worked with several IT professionals, and I have to say that Dan is as good as they get. Hes extremely responsive, very knowledgeable and always easy to work with. Hes also quite reasonable in his pricing. Had taken my computer to Geek Squad at Best Buy initially for a tune up where they told me I would need to have my OS reloaded and my computer wiped. One thing is for sure; Dan is the man. I am a student here in Fort Collins and had some major issues with my laptop. I was having issues even starting my system in safe mode. Dan was great helping me with my laptop, which had decided it was just too tired to go any further. He tried everything he could to get it running again but it was the end of the line for a very old laptop. He was very patient and knowledgeable about what to try to fix it, and when it finally really died he sold me one of his retired laptops. My husband is an engineer (EE masters degree) and has worked in high tech his whole career. I majored in Computer Science & Math and also worked in high tech in the past and currently have my own business where I am highly dependent upon computers & server setups. Dan has helped us with both our family computers (PCs and Laptops) and with my business (PCs, laptops, server, backup systems, cloud services, wifi, telephone systems, more) for the past 3+ years. He has been extremely knowledgeable and responsive whenever we needed it, and with whatever problem has come up. For our family computers, he helped us with disc crashes (once on a PC and once on a laptop) and with virus issues that were nastier than we were able to resolve on our own. He helped me design my IT setup for my business when we moved it out of our home into a real business location where we needed servers, backups and a more extensive setup. He advised me what products were needed (hardware, software, services) and what was the best one to get for my situation and where it was cheapest to purchase. There was only one time when he returned a computer with some sort of virus symptoms still happening and he immediately took the computer back and fixed it and told us why the glitch still happened (and it was an incredibly obscure issue). We have been extremely pleased with Dans work with both home and business computer setups. We are confident that if there is still an issue he will immediately attend to it and get it resolved.
