These folks are magicians! I took in a 4Runner with 5 years of pet hair and camping with only my vaccum to try and keep it clean. Quality and Customer service are at my highest levels of satisfaction. Not only do they have a can do attitude, but the results way outshine what I was hoping for. With an after ours phone call hoping to leave a VM for an emergency car cleanup, I got an almost immediate response and an appointment setup. Greeted with the continuing can do approach at my appt, they immediately went to work and even worked with my car to make sure my other equipment was protected while they cleaned.After this experience, I will be scheduling my other cars to come in for some much needed TLC since I know they will be well taken care of.

Genuinely the nicest people and very good at what they do.Our male coonhound got overly excited in our new (used) truck, the cloth seats paid the price. This is the only auto detailer you should take your car to in Fort Collins! I brought my car in to DJ and his team after another detailer failed to get dog hair and dirt out of a used car I had purchased. There was so much dog hair and dirt, I never thought it would come out. Platinum touch went above and BEYOND to get every single strand of dog hair and every inch of grime out of this car, it looks like a whole new car. I’ll never recommend anyone else, these guys are the best!

I had the 3 year ceramic coating done on my 2009 BMW 335.Check out the dark blue BMW with WY plates in the photos if you want to see what it looks like.I baby this car and take care of it as best as I can so I won’t just take it anywhere. I live in Cheyenne and decided to take my car to foco to get good quality work done and that’s exactly what I got with Kool Rides and DJ. I am about 3 months into having the ceramic coating and it is exactly what it’s advertised to be. DJ who I worked with, is a very professional and honest guy and he will do right by you. Overall, GREAT experience, trust worthy business and fair prices! I would go back again.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Small shop, kind of hidden. But I love small business so I thought I would give them a chance. Wanted my engine done but I had a horrible from years before somewhere else. The manager assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. They gave me a great quote. Read the good reviews and booked my car in for window tints.When taking the booking the lady had a lot of background noise, sounded unprofessional, but went along with it.Booked time off work to take the car in. When i arrived they had run out of car tint. What car tinting place knowing a customer has booked in runs out of tint. Anyway they said they called the morning of, but they had the number incorrect.I wasted time off work for this place. The manager came out of the back and questioned if i was annoyed. Course i was i replied, i had taken time off work, traveled and was annoyed with the professionalism of the business.I ended up going through Fort Collins Auto Tint who did an amazing job!

Dropped my vehicle off at 8 am, was told that it would take 4-5 hours. Nine hours later I was able to get my car back. Seats were soaking wet, grill was not cleaned, and the trunk area wasn’t touched. Definitely NOT worth the time or money.

I never write reviews but I had to after my experience here. They are AMAZING! Not only did they get me in with no notice but went above and beyond for a very reasonable price. They washed my truck without asking (or charging) and even buffed out a scratch for me at no charge. DJ truly cared about the details of cleaning my truck and my experience. He took pride in his work and was very knowledgeable. I will be back for all my vehicle needs and will always recommend these guys!

I was in the market to get my car windows tinted, so like usual I thoroughly researched all the shops in the Fort Collins area. Decided to go with Kool Rides due to the number of positive reviews, and am very glad that I did. My car looks gorgeous with the high quality 3M tint they used. The customer service was great as well. Answered all my questions, completed the car in 3 hours and even offered complimentary rides to and from my work. Highly recommend Kool Rides, and I plan to return to take advantage of their detailing services.

I have been bringing my car in every time I need something worked on. I have gotten my windows tinted, tail lights smoked out, car emblems removed, and a tinted visor on my windshield. Every time my car looks great! They are quick with their work but also treat your car like it was their own. I have even brought in my girlfriends car to get her windows tinted and she loves them. I just picked up my car from this business and I can say I am 100% happy. I took my black BMW 135i in to have several paint chips and a couple scratches repaired as well as a clear bra and overall detailing. From the reviews here I was expecting good results, and was very satisfied with what I got. Black is a hard color to keep clean, and a harder color to polish well. We walked around the car I pointed out some chips and scratches that needed repair. Right there on the spot I was given an estimate and a timeline. I had some questions on some damage on my clear bra and he took the time to explain the hows and whys of doing that kind of work. In the end he made some suggestions that saved me a couple hundred dollars. An honest businessman is really worth everything you pay them. They completed their work right on time and called me when it was done. Ive been to quite a few repair shops that never call you back and you end up tracking them down to get your car back, not the case here.When I arrived the owner took me around the car to show me all the places where had filled in and sanded down, one of which was particularly bad (a bike had fallen on the rear quarter panel). The paint color was perfectly matched and you can only really see where the bad scrape was if you knew where is was before the repair. Going on to the exterior wax and polish I was similarly impressed. No swirls, rainbows, grazes or defects, just a mirror surface. I was particularity impressed with the wheels. As fellow BMW owners will know the brake dust can be a real issue. They guys at Kool Rides did an amazing job cleaning the wheels. Lots of tight corners and deep groves (hard to even get a finger in). Its this sort of attention to detail that lets you know how seriously they take their work. There were even a couple areas that I missed that he pointed out.The interior of the car was just a good looking as the outside. The leather had been cleaned and dressed without extra oily or shiny finishes. Same deal with the dash and other surfaces, clean and no greasy glaze you can get from some places.Lastly his prices where very fair, a lot less than the dealer was going to charge me by half.To sum up good prices, honest owner, excellent work and a very satisfied customer. Ill be coming hear for the rest of my car details needs for sure.

This was my first detail ever. DJ took my call on a Tuesday and I explained that I would like an interior detail because it was my birthday gift to myself and I was having friends in my car this weekend. We scheduled for Thursday. He said to drop it off at 10am and it would take 4-5 hours.I dropped it off at 8am and he said they would call when it was done. He offered to add on headlight cleaning for $20 and would hook me up since it was my birthday, yay!At 5pm, I called because I had not heard anything and was told they had just started it and it would be ready at 6pm as they were super busy today. I showed up and my car was parked, running, unlocked on the street with no one present, after dark, windows fogged, and not in the nicest area. When I went inside, a gal came from the back and went to check me out. I asked if I could see the car in the light of the garage before paying and she wasnt thrilled. She instead handed me a flashlight and I tried to look at everything in the dark. She had me fill out a form saying everything was well and DJ popped his head out of the back to say it was ready to go. They said the seats were damp so I would need to leave the car in my garage overnight with the windows open to let it dry. There were little kids running around the shop during checkout.I paid $254 for an interior clean. On the way home, I noticed the emergency brake light wouldn’t shut off; this was new and not that way when I dropped it off. I also had to sit on plastic as the seats were sopping wet. At home, I investigated and found that there was liquid down in the emergency brake compartment in the console and no amount of air blowing or jiggling the handle would cause the light to go out. I left a message for DJ and he called back the next morning.My husband took apart my console, took apart the e-brake switch, and dried it, which fixed the problem. To DJ’s credit, he offered to have his mechanic friend next door look at the switch for free as they had never experienced something like this before. I think too much water/cleaner from cleaning the seats leaked into the compartment and got the switch wet causing it to malfunction.I also noticed that the windows were clean until you rolled them down. There was a line ½” from the top that was dirty – so they cleaned the windows while they were rolled up and didn’t lower them to clean the top ½”. All vinyl surfaces were greasy and left residue on anything that touched them; I had to wipe them down with a towel myself. Finally, the mats and seats ARE STILL WET and it’s been 4 days. So, they soaked the seats, didn’t extract the water effectively, and did not dry the seats. When I called this morning to inquire, DJ said they usually just leave the car doors open overnight in the garage and do not use fans or other methods of drying. In the summer, they dry faster, he said. It would have been nice to know that my car seats would be wet for 4+ days after cleaning because all my friends got to enjoy plastic bags and towels in place of a nice clean and dry car. Oh, and the headliner wasnt even touched yet thats on the list for an interior clean.Communication from DJ from the beginning would have helped me understand the limitations of auto detailing and would have influenced the date I cleaned the car and company I used. I did not explicitly ask for a refund, and was not offered one, but I should have asked. I don’t feel like this was a $254 job at all. DJ asked that I return again for my next detail and he would do better but I’m gun shy now and don’t think I’ll be returning.

I had an appointment for a scratch removal and wax/ buff on my motorcycle this last week.I had recently bought the bike and found some surface scratches on tank, which a good buff and wax should remove. After talking to the owner online I decided to take my bike in for an evaluation. At the evaluate I was told that it would cost $75 to detail and do scratch removal on my entire bike. I was told that this included scratch removal/ wax/ buff (on the painted surfaces), detailing all the chrome and conditioning of the saddle bags. After the meeting I was told that I would be given a ride to work, since I had to work that day, and that the whole process should only take 1.5 to 2 hours. This all sounded amazing but it didnt exactly turn out as expected.On the day of the appointment I called ahead and was told that they no longer had a ride for me to work. Upon showing up one of the employees gave me a ride to work in their personal vehicle (which was awesome!!). I told the manager that I would be back to pick the bike up at lunch. Around 1230 I called to check on the bike and it was still not done yet. The employee told me that it would take another hour and that the bike was still covered in wax. At this point they had had my bike for 5 hours, which was almost double the time that they estimated. Also because they took longer than normal I had to take sick time to go pick up the bike since I could not do it on lunch. After being in a hurry to get the bike and get back to work as quickly as possible I didnt have time to look the bike over. Upon getting home from work I inspected the bike and found that they didnt remove all the wax, didnt do a detailed cleaning for the bike, and didnt even touch the saddle bags. They did do a decent job on the tank but they were not able to get out many of the surface scratches. I wonder if this is because they rushed the job instead of taking the time to do it properly. Lastly, I question whether they even waxed the rear fender at all since it had what appeared to be new scratches around the light. After a quick hand waxing the scratches disappeared, proving that they didnt do they best job on the rear fender.Overall, I was really let down by this companies service and attention to detail After reading all of the reviews on here I would hope that it was a fluke and that this type of thing doesnt happen very often.

Great job. I had trouble with the first clear bra they put in my car and I called with questions. They immediately scheduled me back and even did drop off and pick up at my work for me. Ive used Koolrides 3 times over the past 2 years for my sedan and truck and Im very impressed. They charge fair market value for an excellent job. They most recently detailed the interior of my Tacoma access cab. It looked like a brand new truck afterwords and I could have never gotten in that clean myself in a million years. They even ended up cleaning the outside and made places sparkle on this off-road machine that Ive never gotten clean.One time I brought a previous car in for just an interior detail. The car had body damage to the bumper, and they were able to fill it in and match the paint all while it was detailed. Saved me replacing the bumper.

I was visiting from out of state with my dog that developed intestinal distress on the trip. Unfortunately, her accident occurred in my best friends car. I called Kool Rides on Friday morning and they were able to detail the car the same day. It could not have been a pleasant job but they did an excellent job and I am very grateful.

Mike and Rob do a great job. My poor car sees over 20,000 miles a year and I spill more coffee than i drink! My car came back on time and amazingly clean. All the coffee stains in my carpet were gone.The car was so clean, I almost gave up Starbucks for a couple of days. Great job guys! I will be back before the next 20,000 miles!

Brought in brand new car

I was looking to get a full detail for the used car I had just bought and chose Kool Rides based on all the positive reviews and the pick up and drop off service. Mike did an awesome job on the exterior after some rough treatment by the previous owner. Overall, I was really pleased. When I got the car home, I noticed that the engine bay hadnt been cleaned. Simple mistake, so I wasnt too worried about it. I called in to ask about it getting it taken care of, and they went above and beyond to make things right. For no extra charge, they re-cleaned areas that I was already very happy with, and had the whole car looking incredible. Ive never even seen a clean engine before, so that was quite the sight. Im a total neat freak and didnt think any detailing job could meet my expectations, but this one did!

These guys were awesome! Not only does my car look amazing, but when my ride fell through to pick it up on a Friday afternoon they offered to come get me from work and bring me to pick it up, and when I couldnt do that they came in on their own off time Saturday morning. They definitely go above and beyond.

They did a horrible job detailing my interior. I admit it was very dirty with dog hair and stains but when I brought it home the carpet was sticky as if they didnt rinse it at all. It felt like theyd dumped a bucket of glue all over the carpets then just left it there. When I came to pick it up they acted very unprofessionally, not having it ready when they said it would and being very unfriendly while complaining about how dirty it was. To top it all off it wasnt even very clean with easy to remove marks on the drive shift and dog hair still abundant. Very disappointed that I wasted money on a terrible job I couldve done better myself!!

I wish I had an experience to share... I had received a $160 gift certificate, but the certificate expired after 6 months and I was not able to use it. After emailing two times and leaving a voicemail with no reply I figure Kool rides is more interested in making money than taking care of customers?

I had few ugly scratches on my 2008 Accord and it has never been detailed before so it was pretty dirty inside.After day at Kool Rides the scratches are gone, car is clean inside and out, look and smells like new. Great interior detailing.

Completely ridiculous. Had parts paint matched.. didnt match. Overspray on spoiler. Took a walk in customer right before my month in advance appt. He was never on time. Did not communicate well with me at all resulting in a big waste of my time. After a month paint chipping off the front lip and conveniently they installed that too but but didnt put it on right, now hanging halfway on and fender plastic all eaten up by my wheels. The most horrible experience ever. in another month I have an appt. to get it fixed. WOW

Made an appointment to have some tint removed off tail lights for 10 am. Showed up and was told the guy wouldnt get there till 11:30 am and would cost double what I was quoted over the phone and take much more time. Left disappointed and frustrated.
