My husband walked into this shop on a whim one day, and asked the woman if she took same-day appointments. She was incredibly rude to him, acting like she was so put out. She could have just told him they were by appointment only, or that she was on her break, or whatever. Instead she barely spoke to him, didn’t ask what he wanted, and proceeded to cut his hair without saying a word to him the entire time. She cut his hair quickly, then took off the cape and walked away. Didn’t ask if he was satisfied or anything. My poor introverted husband was shocked but didn’t say anything about her behavior as he paid and left. It goes without saying he won’t be returning.

Fantastic barber with a long family history in Fort Collins. Benita is carrying on a family business started by her father more than 40 years ago. She is fast, personable and professional, and her services are reasonably priced. It feels good to support an Old Town business that isn’t a restaurant, bar, gift store, etc.

Lloyds is my favorite place to go! I came up for college and did the college thing of chopping off all of my hair; I had no idea what I wanted besides short. David helped me choose a cut and listened to me perfectly! Ive recommended to every student here at CSU asking about hair cuts. Ive been back quite a few times and have not been disappointed. Went here because I was tired of the lack of attention you get at most places like great clips. The barber was nice and gave a great haircut! But he left multiple cuts and scratches on both sides and the back of my head. Just to heavy with the razor.

Great local barber shop with history! Benita took over when her father, Lloyd, retired after almost fifty years of cutting hair in Fort Collins. She uses lots of his original equipment including the chairs and the shaving cream cream dispenser. (Dont confuse it with Floyds - this is a local, family business.)

I am writing this review on Google, Yelp, and anywhere else I can find since Lloyds deleted my review from their Facebook page immediately after I posted it. My husband came in and got a haircut, and was cut with the razor. Not just once, many times. The haircut itself was good, but the barber had zero experience and should have practiced more before providing a service to the public. This is not how your head should look leaving a barber shop. Really disappointed in you guys for trying to make this problen disappear instead of trying to make up for it.

I had some good cuts here, but last time they cut it too short despite repeatedly asking to keep it a certain length. It’s a hit or miss coming here. I’m giving them 4 stars since I had some good cuts in the past despite my last experience.

Its a really cool mom and pop barber shop that is tiny and right next to ragstock. I love how she uses a straight razor on your neck. The haircuts always turn out great.

I took my ten year old son to get a haircut today.. Im very disappointed with the lack of skill the woman had. I could have done a much better job myself. We wont be going back.

The atmosphere is so calming, and the woman who operates this business has a heat of gold. She cuts my hair beautifully and for a fair price. More importantly, she has a clean, compassionate presence.

Worst haircut Ive had in years. Even my kids commented on how bad it was. It was like rush me in and out as quickly as possible and not pay attention to what I wanted in a cut.

I wont go anywhere else. Quick and good haircuts for a low price. Not to mention the great shave at the end.
