A few weeks ago, I went for my second hair cut with Sierra! She did such a wonderful job and is so great to talk to as she is working.😁 I have long, curly hair and she knew just what would lighten it up again, so it wouldn’t be as heavy and frizzy as it was before. Now, it’s back to being super curly and the layers look great!Thank you Sierra! And I would suggest her to anyone!

I have always loved aveda salons and products, but this salon has an extra special atmosphere, experience, and stylists than other places I’ve been! I go to Bobbi and she always cuts and styles my hair to perfection! I would also recommend trying their conditioning treatment to combat the arid climate if Colorado! I’m a lifelong customer 😁

Stylist was amazing! I felt so pampered! I would highly recommend James Salon and any one of the stylist there. I wish I could remember my stylist name 😥 I am so bad at that! She was truly amazing though! Just got a trim but she curled my hair and it actually stayed curled for over 24 hours! That never happens.

Can not recommend this place, and Bree specifically, enough. I booked a big hair appointment without any prior knowledge of the place. Bree was so personable and knowledgeable about what she does. I left with arguably the best full highlight/toner/cut I’ve ever received. Well worth every penny. I also loved that neither of the stylists were pushing Aveda products down their costumers’ throats. They would recommend one or two if needed, but it didn’t feel like a sales pitch. Not only an extremely quality salon, but fair prices and good people.

Free scalp massage and shampoo. Bree knows how to create the look I want, and is skilled at point cut, which is a great technique for my type of hair.

I have been going here for maybe 4 years now and there’s a reason why! I’m super picky when it comes to my hair and Brea kills it every single time. Prices are comparable to other salons in the area and not to mention they are an AVEDA salon which means they carry amazing organic products! I can’t reccomend James Salon enough.

I would recommend Amanda at to any of my friends or family members because she has always been thorough in getting me exactly what I want out of my hair. Im never disappointed when I interact with her or when I leave because the whole experience had been so pleasant! I am unwaveringly confident in her abilities and will return for years to come.

I had a hair cut and partial foil a few days ago with Heidi. She is new to the Salon. I love the haircut - she really did a great job with my hair. The cost was higher than my old stylist (Miranda) for the same service, but still pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend the Salon.

Before I start let me say, I have seen both Bri and Becca and they are both amazingly talented stylists. This salon is a beautiful and very clean but there are only the 2 employees. The stylists are in charge of the front desk which makes the experience chaotic. Every time I have been in there my own service is interrupted by the stylist needing to answer the phone or take care of walk in people. If I’m going to pay $200 (which I happily will for a great service) I expect to have the stylists attention. The services are great but I think management might be a mess.

Ive gotten my hair done by Amanda at least every 3 months for the past 5 years, and she has always done exactly what I wanted. One time she even cut off 9 inches, and I was in love with how she pulled it off. She has died my 2 best friends hair flawlessly and they absolutely have fallen in love with it. I reccomend Amanda for any hair need, whether its dying or cutting or styling. Shes a lovely human being and kind and works hard to get your hair exactly right! Shes been in the business for awhile and knows what she is doing. I am always picky with who does my hair, and I trust her to do my hair perfectly every single time.

I went to James Salon Spa for the first time last night. My stylist was Heidi. She did an amazing job on my color (quick, accurate, pretty highlights) and she was able to cut my thick, short hair better than any other stylist I have tried in four years of searching in Fort Collins salons. This was the first time since moving here that I have had a haircut that did not need any tweaking when I got home. An added bonus was that she had a pleasant personality and was easy to chat with after a long day at work. If you need a new stylist, I highly recommend her. I noticed that these reviews come up for all the different James Salon locations, so I should mention that this was at the Elizabeth Street location just outside CSU campus.

Okay so my best friend and I both got our hair done by Amanda. Absolutely terrible. My friend wanted to go platinum, and Amanda dyed her roots black with platinum for the rest of my hair. My friend said it was too dark and when Amanda went to lighten it, she gave my friend chemical burns all over her scalp. I had an ombré done and she did pretty good at it. But anything more complicated, dont go to her. I have never written a review on anything my whole life, but I made it a priority for people to know this about James Salon and Amanda. It was super expensive too, its on a college campus so I dont know why they think college kids are loaded. The only reason I didnt give it a 1 star was because Ashley fixed my best friends hair and she did very well with what she had to work with. Amanda royally screwed up my friends hair and is terrible. I dont suggest going here. If you get someone like Ashley maybe, but the pay is too much. And if you get someone like Amanda, do not do it.Ps- the whole time Amandas hands were shaking which makes me believe she knows shes not very good at what she does. That might be harsh but if you saw my friends hair you wouldnt disagree.

Very over priced and took 45 min for eyebrow waxing. I mean if I pluck out every single stand of hair using a tweezer, it would still be faster. And it was a sloppy job !! :( Disappointed. Will never go there again.

Way too stuck up - wouldnt accept a walk in and wouldnt take an appointment in person even though nobody was in there. Turning customers away isnt a business model likely to continue for long. Skip it and go to Mollys across the street.
