Sarah, our waitress, was amazing and super friendly. The food was delish and you cant beat sitting along the shore of Lake Winnebago on the patio!

Our server is awesome. I love their gyro and gyro salad. The pita bread, Greek dressing are homemade. The location is by the lake, so relaxing and great view.

We should have had to pay extra for this sunset! Great food. Post covid we all need to be patient with wait staff, think it might be all new kids but they will learn!

We tripped over this place on the long drive home from Green Bay, and we are so glad we did! The view was beautiful, and our service was fantastic. I even asked for something off-menu, and the waitress said absolutely without even blinking. Granted, I was just asking for a BLT, as thats simply what I was craving, but whoever made that sandwich took great pride in it, and every inch of the very tasty artisan-type bread was covered with the crispiest bacon. Its honestly one of the best sandwiches Ive had in a long time, and for only $6. Hubby also had a wonderful burger, and that was priced very reasonable as well. I now know where well be stopping any time we head up that way in the future!

Very good shrimp linguini. Husband had coconut shrimp. He liked it, says he will go back, as will I. Reasonably priced.. Nice spot on the south end of Lake Winnebago, lots of windows to enjoy the view.

Really good food. One if the bartenders was new so she was struggling a bit but the other bartender was amazing and was in total control over her customers!!! She was a natural!!! I will be back for sure.

We had a great day at Sunset on the Water. We visited with a larger party with reservations in advance on a Sunday. Food was great and I am a culinary teacher. Atmosphere is cozy. Price points are very affordable and selection is large. We will visit again when we can enjoy the patio. It was full at 1pm when we were there. Waitress was not attentive, no napkins on tables and we had to ask for silverware!!?? Drink bill would have been higher if she would have been on top of that. Our drinks were sweating on the tables and she did not offer a solution..napkins, wipe table..more training.

The best fajitas Ive had in a long time and sitting out on the back deck was gorgeous!

We heard this place had award winning prime rib dinners so we had to go since we were going to be 50 miles away. Great place on the lake and the food was fantastic. We will be up next year and will definitely make sure to stop here.

Cant thank Lauren H. enough for going out of her way for us Monday! We had a great time and it was nice meeting the Owner, Maria, who obviously runs a great restaurant! Food was FANTASTIC (chicken parmesagn highly recommended!) and my Bloody Mary was the best Ive had in quite awhile. The Turtle Cheesecake is to die for! Cant wait to come back when the Live bands can play outside and be able to see the gorgeous sunset! Excellent experience, dont hesitate to make the trip here--its worth it!!! Thanks again!

Nice place on waterfront. Clean. We had 2 minutes to eat our salad before the prime rib came out. Other than that, employees were friendly and prompt. The margarita machine was loud as a jet.

Very nice establishment! Right next to Lake Winnebago and vaguely reminds me of The Sports Dock in Pewaukee, WI. They have really good food, decent staff, a nice crowd, and kick**s bloodymaries. Definitely worth checking out. You wont be disappointed!

Always great. One of the best places to go for great food and drink. You can even watch the sunset outside on their big deck. Sometimes I remember the sunset. Sometimes I dont.great place to have fun. Great people there.

A friend and I decided to see for ourselves and not go by some of the reviews. Which we are happy to say was a great decision.The place was a little busy but still parking available.We entered and was greeted at the bar. Happy employees. All were smiling. We are just fine with the masks on or off, seeing as this is/was a free country. We know how to social distance and wash our hands and sanitize. Drinks were served and we took a table outside. Had an unobstructed view of the setting pink sun and it was gorgeous. Service was great. Not slow at all. The atmosphere was happy and jovial. We had drinks and ordered two meals. Steak was delicious and made as instructed. My chopped salad was perfect. Chicken wasn’t dry or over cooked.Altogether a perfect experience and evening.

Had a fantastic meal with my parents today. The tacos, gyro and chicken enchiladas were fabulous. Really good cheese curds too. Had exceptional service from Vyla. Ive heard good things about this place and now I know they are true.

We were there for brunch. It was subpar to say the least. There wasnt much to choose from and from what was there it looked as if it was past its holding time. Definitely disappointed. Also it was quite difficult to get more food on the buffet table. I am taking into consideration that it may have been a slow day and you want to keep the cost of waste down but its still unacceptable. Its the guests that make your paycheck after all.So with that being said, no ones perfect, we all make mistakes. This is the first disappointing visit Ive had there. So thats not going to cloud my thought process on returning.So would I come back? Yes. Will my expectilations be high? Absolutely.

Huge menu- delicious food- great cheese curds, good French onion soup, grilled salmon with lemon butter was great and their sweet potato fries was good. Sunset pizza was okay, sunset burger was great, pasta excellent- the whole menu is good. Good, cheap drinks. Friendly staff.

One of the worst places I ever went to. We got a table outside and it does have a beautiful view of the lake, but everything else was horrible. Nobody, including the waitstaff wore masks inside or outside. They had music playing and we could barely hear one another. I don’t know how the bartender could even hear anyone ordering a drink. It was good music but just way too loud. It took 5 minutes to order our drinks than another 10-15 minutes to get it. Since I had to take my son to the bathroom we didn’t order right away. The waitress didn’t come back for 20 minutes. We Finally order the Friday Fish Fry Beer Battered Cod. It was Disgusting. The batter on it tasted funny and while eating it I felt sick to my stomach. I couldn’t even finish it. My family had the same reaction and couldn’t finish theirs. The cole slaw was warm and I could tell it was out all day. The bread was good but no butter came with it. The fries was the best part of the meal. Now I worked as a waitress for years when I was younger and I understand what they go through and I definitely give the benefit of the doubt but this was a horrible experience all around. I still can’t believe no one in a packed place was wearing a mask. They had a sign saying that it was mandated but if you’re not wearing it they will assume it’s for health reasons. That is a big cop out and the employees should be taking precautions. I don’t understand how that place is even open. We will never go back there.

This time we had a waiter. He was good he checked on us often, he helped a couple of ladies open the sun umbrella.

Prime rib sandwich was almost all fat. Shouldn’t have to take the meat out of the sandwich and cut off the fat and have 1/3 meat left for it. Terrible food.

This place was honestly one of the worst places Ive ever eaten in my life my food was cooked incorrectly multiple times to the point where I just lost my appetite. But in all honesty the manager that was on duty was kind and understanding to me.

One of our favorite FDL haunts. Casual lakeside dining & drinks in either the dining room or at high tables on the bar side. New (summer) Tiki bar and outdoor seating. A nice side room is available for gatherings. Fresh Greek salad is one of our regular go-tos. Menu has something for everyone - casual fare and comfort food.

Amy and Heather did a fantastic job with our group of 40+ on a Tuesday for lunch to celebrate Jerry Kruegers 86th Birthday 🍰 We were able to order off the menu or from the specials menu. I had the BLT w soup for $5. Fair portion for the price. The bacon was crisp and the produce was fresh, served on a chibata (sp?) roll. The burgers looked huge, the salads were huge (even the side salad was bigger than expected). I will definitely visit again. (The cake in the picture was provided one of the party guests).

Hair in food, over an hour wait. Rude and inattentive. Had a great brunch experience here and decided to take our parents it was so embarrassing to have such awful service.

We stopped in without reservations and were told the dining room had a 30 minute wait, but we could go into the bar area for first come first serve. So we found a 4 person table and waited 10 minutes without seeing any server. Checked with the bar to see if we could get some menus and they told us someone will be coming shortly. Waited another 10 minutes before a waitress came in our area to check on the table next to us. After waiting a total of 30 minutes and seeing 1 server, no menus or drinks, we decided to leave. Seemed like no one even notice that we were there or that we even left. 2 stars because it looked nice and had good company.

We had group party 22 people 1 waiter served water all our Bar drinks plus took all food orders.Very speedy refilled beverages, delivered our bills, collected, plus cleaned entire table when we were done without one mistake !!!! Food was EXCELLENT as it alway is. PLEASE try also reasonably priced.

I had a steak not bad. Husband had ribs couldnt even eat them. Didnt seem cooked, bbq sauce looked watery and cold.

The food was excellent, the restaurant and the views very nice. And our waitress Vickey was awesome!

Come here often but last few times the food is not up to par. Long wait to get food and only 3 tables were occupied. Nachos were soggy and stuck together. Prime rib was chewy and not very warm and fish fry has been switched. The fish are now flat and large with way too much batter. Used to be big chunks of fish with batter. Seems like since they reopened for inside dining after Covid close down the food quality has gone down.
