2015 Buick Encore for a check engine light. Needed a valve cover gasket. Changed it out turned out to be a defective part. Sprayed oil all over. Called Al and he sent a tow truck to bring to his shop. Replaced the defective part cleaned up the oil replaced the grommets cleaned the injectors. Things dont always go right and when they dont its what you do that makes the difference. Al stood behind his work and made it right.

They diagnose the problem and actually really fix it and then if something goes awry they stand behind it. Fabulous place. Very nice and personable people

I went in for an oil change and to have a noise checked out and the staff was so kind and helpful. I had been traveling and had my dog with me and they were great about getting me an appointment and even brought my dog a bowl of water on what was a very hot day. The gentleman working on my car explained everything that he did to it thoroughly and made sure I understood it all. I had a great experience and wish I lived in Fond Du Lac so that I could make them my regular mechanic!

Highly pleased with my visit. A few days ago my regulator broke on my drivers side window from an oil change that was done when I was at Walmart, they couldnt fix it because the are not a full auto shop, bummer. Called up several places for a quote to make a claim, and Freeds Automotive was available. When I arrived yesterday to drop off my vehicle the interior was quite inviting, retro/vintage/nostalgic and ontop of that how they treated me so well! While the process was taken place they turned on the tv for me and told me to make yourself at home. Luckily my car was still under the extended warranty; didnt want to go thru the hoops with Walmart; exchanged my information with the pleasant receptionist, got picked up by a bud of mine then today I picked up my vehicle. I will definitely do more business with them in the near future! For them to check out my vehicle for a simple diagnostic I only got charged $67.11 which that wasnt too bad I thought for my issue. Check them out!
