We made an appointment at 10 am with a salesperson. We were called to confirm the appointment while driving to that appointment. Our salesperson shows up 45 minutes later claiming our appointment was for the next day. Fine whatever we go out to look at a 60k truck and the sunroof was broken and you could literally lift it out of the truck. It had mismatched tires. It hadn’t been detailed it had scratches everywhere. While waiting for the salesperson to show up I was talking to a customer who was picking up his car and was telling me about all the shady things they had done to him. We were not impressed. Horrible Experience. Bought a car from cardinal ford and wished I hadnt. On numerous occasions I was told by the sales team that everything worked perfectly with the vehicle only to find out once it arrived from out of state there were several issues that will require considerable money to fix. On a facetime walkthrough with the sales team I asked pointed questions about items of concerns only to be pacified with answers saying things worked perfectly or that the service department would take care of that. Well, they didnt. Vehicle was shipped to me in poor condition, missing items, and super dirty.Finance team was dishonest and tried to make me pay additional finance charges, which they ultimately did. Asked me to make a gentlemans agreement not to refinance elsewhere when their rates were terrible. They started my loan with a crazy high interest rate when the vehicle wasnt even ready to ship. I paid interest fees before the vehicle was ready to be sold. When I questioned this I was told they would refuse to sell me the vehicle if I made a big deal about it.I reached out to the manager and got no where. Said hed look into things but havent heard anything back. Wish I had purchased elsewhere. Transaction was a headache, team was dishonest, manager didnt care, and I paid fees I shouldnt have to had paid for a vehicle that didnt work as advertised. Please go elsewhere.

Another joke of the automotive industry. The whole place is in shambles, but instead of working to try and fix it, management fights with everyone and pushes people out the door. It’s a constant numbers game and no one wants to disappoint upper management by giving them the real state of the service department. It’s a shame. Place has potential to be really great. But serious managerial changes will be needed before anyone can walk through the doors to Cardinal Ford and not walk out in worse shape.
Went with my daughter to look at a potential purchase. The salesperson LaTosha Moore was friendly but the numbers as far as the monthly pays was crazy.. A 2014 Malibu for roughly $14k and you want to finance for 72 months. That would be almost double youve paid for it and by the time youre done its not going to be worth anything. Definitely do your research before buying any car.. She left it there by the way!
David at Cardinal Ford was super helpful at getting me into the van I wanted at the price I could afford with a bankruptcy on my record 3 years ago. Signed that the van only needed to pass inspection and I was responsible for other repairs and when the service department looked at the van it passed but the struts were bad and rather than charge me hundreds of dollars Cardinal Ford replaced the struts no charge. Then, when it took too long to replace, Cardinal Ford paid enterprise rent a car for me to have a rental while they finished with my van. I am blown away by their honesty and their commitment to stand behind their vehicles not just individual employees but by the whole organization as a whole. Highly recommend would buy from again in a heartbeat. Coming back for service too.

I had the best vehicle buying experience ever at Cardinal Ford formerly Paul Cerame located on Halls Ferry near I-270. My salesman, Christian Hill was/is so cool and such a people person. I have been truck hunting for two - three years, searching on-line, researching trucks, their functions and features; however, the day I met Christian on the Cardinal Ford lot, I said I will close all searches--within two weeks, I was driving the vehicle of choice, everything I wanted in the vehicle, interest rates, price, dealership experience, even Dylan in finance was very wonderful to work with. I have a 2004 F350 4x4 with the 6.0L and started having some issues after the cold snap that we had in February. While I was driving, my fuel gelled and I was dead on the street. Those that own diesels know that no fuel equals shot injectors. It was still able to drive, but it shook like an earthquake while starting, but once warmed up it ran like a champ. It has progressively gotten worse and I was putting of the inevitable. I had called all the dealerships in the STL area, and even some on the Kansas City side to see who could get me in as soon as possible as my wife is nearing the end of her pregnancy and this is the only vehicle we have that could get us home from the hospital with baby in tow. Every other dealership was 2 to 3 weeks out from me even dropping the truck off. I called Cardinal Ford and spoke with Blake and he made a point that he didnt want me going anywhere else so he ordered the parts and told me to drop it off on Monday, I had called on the Friday before. I dropped it off and had it back on Wednesday. Truck runs great and now I have no concerns about being able to bring my wife and baby home when the time comes. Great service, great pricing and they definitely have a repeat customer out of me for jobs that I cant complete myself. I highly recommend, and will be coming back for any other big jobs that I need tackled, and with the 6.0 you know that they are coming.
Do not purchase a vehicle here, or even attempt to. I usually let these things go, but I had a horrible experience here. Save yourself some heartache, and dont waste your time.We made an appointment over the phone to test drive three exact vehicles, with specific stock numbers. The appointment was confirmed an hour before arriving. We drove 30 minutes to the dealer, and not only were the cars not available for a test drive, they had sold days earlier! They wasted our time, disrespected us by telling us to come in when they knew they didnt have what we wanted, and then tried to get us in a car we hadnt researched or had time to look at. They blamed everything and everyone but themselves. They blamed heavy sales, the weather, and even the new person - I dont take kindly to that kind of talk, and arent you supposed to adequately train the new person before you let them talk to your valuable customers? I will never come back here, and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.Also, their website is a complete bait and switch. They said they hadnt updated their website, but that is not even a good excuse. When I sell a t-shirt on eBay, it marks the item as sold right away. Im not sure why they have vehicles listed for sale on their website when they are not really available - that sounds fishy.CarMax, here I come!

Ive been visiting this company for YEARS! Never had any issues with them. a few months ago, I went in and had my vehicle serviced and it costed me $1,200. Ok, cool, no problem. The service I received was excellent as usual. However, about 2 months after my service appointment, I was under my hood to fill the windshield washer fluid and I noticed my brakebooster was replaced! Keep in mind, I didnt order anything to do with my brakes done on my vehicle. Mines was brand new and the one they replaced it with looked like it was OLD AND USED!!!! I called the service department twice and left a message but never received a call back. I even talked with the secretary who answered the phone and told her my issue before she transferred me to the service supervisor.Still havent heard anything back from them. I left it alone because, due to the amount of time that lapsed before noticing the issue, I had no way of proving it was done on their watch.
I bought my first car back in April it’s July and no longer in driving condition. They said they would fix everything and have my car ready to go within a week, they had my car FOR A WEEK and NOTHING WAS DONE . I had NO OIL in my car or even got a oil change as needed cus my car still tells me I need a oil change, My transmission fluid leaked out as well & they never changed my brakes, they ordered me new headlights n one bulb went out within a week HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REPAIR I wouldn’t dare trust them with my car ever again BUY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK and when your warranty is about to expire they will send you off n make u wait until the expiration date to make you pay for service or to renew VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND BAD BUSINESS
OMG Emile and his staff got it going on over at Cardinal Ford on New Halls Ferry. My daughter purchased her Explorer with Dexter on last Saturday and I had been wanting a new SUV but not as big as one she picked out. I went this Saturday to see Dexter myself and when I say the customer service was phenomenal, he worked with me patiently to get all of my documents needed turned it in to Tony and while he worked on my paperwork to get me approved with Regional Acceptance Corp Dexter and I searched for my truck, then Emile came in to assure the best price as he could, then he crossed all the I’s and dotted all of the t’s to give me the blessings of my new 2020 Ford Escape Ecoboost that works just right with my pocketbook and the gas saving features for my commute all the way to Chesterfield back daily that will help me out in the long run WOW.... finally Ezel sealed the deal and presented me with copies of my documents to keep inside the house and the ones to stay inside the vehicle, along with an estimate on how much my sales tax may be and documents needed for the license bureau. They all were very professional in mask and socially distanced the whole way through the process. Great performance Gentlemen I was very impressed 5 stars for this establishment

Id rather take a colonic from Santa Claus on live TV while getting dental work than endure the vehicle buying process. However my search for the right truck led me to Cardinal Ford in North St Louis. I did not ask for anyone in particular but I feel like I got lucky when I got Christian as my sales person. He was very prompt and up front throughout the entire process. I was able to execute everything over the phone and when I arrived to finalize things he had my truck already to go. I was in-and-out very quick. Ive already started recommending him and the dealership overall to my peeps. I might buy a Bronco soon but no matter when I buy my next vehicle I will definitely be checking in on Christian.

( I have excellent credit ) a word to the wise ( Pay your bills when due, pay off your credit cards every month if you use them . I am very displeased with Cardinal Ford, my Sister had her car towed there almost a month now, she has been calling and no one has gotten back to her, they have not looked at her car are told her anything. I am contacting the Better Business as well as the Attorney General Office on this matter. No establishment should take this long to look into someones car. I would be most happy if someone can look into this. I will not be sending anyone there to Purchase or for repairs.

I have one oclock appointment for an oil change. I arrive 15 minutes early. Im talking to the service desk they inform me that therell be a 3 hour wait. I had a 1 oclock appointment so why 3 hours! They said theyre going to put somebody right on it in 30 minutes. So I go sit in the waiting Room I come back out to check on things at 2:46 p.m.. The truck had not moved 1 foot. I talked to the service desk again. They said theyre gonna put somebody right on it so by the time they finish my oil change. Guess what time it was! It was 4:00 p.m.! This was the worst service Ive had at this location in 20 years!

Bought a vehicle and it did not pass inspection. So They said they would get it ready for inspection. How do you sell a car that can’t pass a safety inspection?So then I brought it back to get it fixed. 3 weeks later my brakes are down to the rotors and the calibers are messed up. How??They don’t have any loaner vehicles and I’m out of luck. So then they say they can’t fix it until June. So I go up there and they agree to do it the next day. So I drive to work and bring it straight there. Here it is 5pm and they said they don’t have the parts, they will be in tomorrow. This is bad business and I DO NOT RECOMMEND!I am contacting the BBB and attorney general. This is unacceptable!

Restroom was clean. They offered me a beverage. Since they were expecting me, I didnt wait two minutes before me and a dealer were filing forms for my desired vehicle. No trash in the lot from the community with just enough space for buyers to park.
I have had nothing but a bad experience with this dealer. I received a service package when I bought my car and NOW they won’t honor it because of the name change. I had to wait a month to get on the schedule for a simple oil change. The day of my appointment the service agent tells me their shop is closed for 30 days. They could have called me before going up there to notify me they were canceling my appt. I am simply disgusted at how that place is ran. I will be taking my car to Clement Ford, which is 25 mins away from my house in Florissant. I hate that I even had to deal with this dealership. I would never recommend this place to buy a car or have any kind of service done to anyone’s car.
Terrible company. The $49 down is a gimmick to get you in the door. Very few people are approved for the payment on the window. This company has no respect for their employees either. When Cardinal purchased Paul Cerame Ford, they removed a lot of loyal and high value employees. The ones that weren’t let go immediately or didn’t quit were given pay cuts and have been exploited and hung out to dry. Without warning they were terminated because they wanted to “go in a different direction” even after these employees have stated loyal, effective, efficient and provided over 20 years of experience at this exact dealership. The owners are cowards and liars. Never shop here, never even look in their direction. They should be ashamed.

This dealer is very unprofessional, both the salesman and financial consultant were condescending and treated me like I was not an any way intelligent. Made an appointment to look at a vehicle and then when I arrived was told that it was in the shop and was not available then tried to upsell me a vehicle with absolutely no tread on the tires. Tried to upsell me extra insurance that is a not needed, and Nitro fill( totally fake charge, DO NOT ACCEPT NITRO FILL - 78% of the air we breathe is nitrogen!) When I asked to take it off I was told it would be discriminations because most of their customers were black after that racial comment I walked out and will not be going back

Worst costumer service what’s so ever. We found the car we liked on CarGurus for 45, 860. We emailed them and then they said that in order to qualify we need to finance and have a trade in if not the price will go up by 2000 for each condition. We said ok, we are going to finance but we have no trade in. And they said ok, but the price will go up for 2000. When we agreed to buy the car at a higher price than it is listed they said, sorry this car is selling only with a trade in since we lowered the price too much. Is it how you do you business? You agreed on seeking us the car at a higher price why do you back up? I even have the screenshots of the conversation where they back up on the deal they offered. Very disappointed...stay away from them. You’ll just waist your time.

Do not recommend patronizing this company in any way, especially having your car serviced. Left my car to be serviced, was not happy with the condition in which my car was returned to me. Items from my glove box, seat pockets, center console and trunk had been gone through and strewn around. When asked what happened no one had an answer. I find it odd that the car was not given to them in that condition but no one even tried to hide that fact that someone had ransacked the car. They could have at least straightened the car up. Will not recommend anyone nor will I buy a car from them.Had work done on my car for traction control/ABS system. The car was returned to me and I found out it wasnt working properly when my brakes locked up on me and I slid through a stop sign. I brought the car back and they told me that the ABS module they installed was no good. They also told me that the module could not communicate with my traction control system because my instrument cluster was bad (???) and it would cost me another $2200 to repair. They would not cover the cost of the ABS module because it was a used part with only a 60 day warranty. How could you have tested the module before if my cluster was bad? How can you have a conscious after taking my hard earned money and telling me my car was fixed, sending me out on the road knowing that my braking system was not working properly and not honoring a warranty that was only 2 weeks past warranty after paying you $1500. My car is worse off than before (you broke my interior trim) and Im out $1500 with no traction control on my car. I HOPE YOU CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT. I pray that no one treats one of your family members like this.
