This business is AMAZING! There was something wrong with my tire. I had to be at work at 8:00 AM and I called them and they got me immediately knowing I was in a rush. They figured out what was wrong and fixed it so quickly! I wasn’t late for work and my tire is fine. They were professional and did amazing work. I will forever come back to this place. In and out with no hassle or upsell.They even helped reset a warning light that wouldnt go away after changing the oil at home instead of at a shop.I would recommend them to anyone.

If I could do 0 stars I would. They tried scamming me from the start. Tried saying that they needed 1,200 to see if my pistons were destroyed. When they couldve looked at the oil. And decided to hide the fact that they couldve already tell that my engine was ruined due to half of my engine being darker due to lack of oil flow. I had to get a male coworker to call them to get any info on my own car. Let me repeat. I brought my car up to be worked on. The car I have in my name. And pay all bills for. But they refused to talk to me about my own car. I had to get a MALE coworker to call up and get awnsers. And when I tried expressing how it was inappropriate for them to do that they cut me off walked away and refused to listen. I would recommend anyone before them.

This place is great. I lost heat in my car with no check engine light. I took it here and not only did they get my heat working within 1 hour, the price was affordable, and the new owner Eric explained everything that was wrong what they were replacing and let me know about some other issues I didnt know about and a time frame on when I should address those other issues.These guys are honest, friendly, and so helpful. Its hard to find a mechanic shop that doesnt try to rip you off and these guys dont. I wont be going anywhere else!

I locked my keys in the car at the grocery store and thankfully by chance, the owner Eric showed up and was able to help. He went back to his shop at 7pm and got the tools needed to get into my car. It is nice to see that there are still good honest people out there, that are not only concerned with making a buck. I definitely will be a loyal customer from here on out.

I was having trouble finding a place to get my car safety tested (actually just the IDOD) and this place was awesome! They had their certified inspector stay an extra 15 minutes for me to get there after work and the owner is super nice. He offered to check my tires for free and gave me a tire pressure gauge so I can check myself in the future. Ill be going back to this place for everything. Customer service is key.

I took it in for an inspection and I knew there was a muffler problem and they had to keep it and they also gave me a ride home and pick me up the next day who does that excellent?

After calling many area locations OTA was the most reasonable. I appreciated JT being very communicative with each step of the repairs needed. Service was quick and my car runs great. Would totally recommend them.

I went here after having a lot of trouble getting my car diagnosed and passed through emissions inspection. One garage had no clue what to do about it, and the other wanted to charge me 1,900 dollars. When I went to Old Town Automotive, I dropped it off late one day and they had it fixed first thing in the morning. Needless to say, Im glad I came. I got a much more reasonable diagnosis and total price to pay. Very pleased, and I highly recommend them.

These guys took care of us. Brought our newly purchased car in for a weird rubbing noise. Freezing cold day this winter. A technician went outside to take a look and Im not kidding in less than 30 seconds he found the problem Id spent a couple of hours online trying to figure out myself. I explained that the car was for my daughter and that of all the cars Ive ever purchased the safety of this one is the most important. They ordered the tires and, though they fixed it and called for pickup a day ahead of schedule, they did a fantastic job and I havent had a problem since.

We called late on Monday 4.1017 about the blower on my car, and dropped it off as they closing. They called early on Tuesday with what was wrong. They fixed my car with very reasonable pricing. Had it back later in the day. Very polite and courteous people. We will be taking all of vehicle there.

Took my truck here from another shop who seem to never do the work right the first time. I told old town my problems, not only did they investigate and solve the problem the first time they also where cheaper then the another shop. Im bringing all my trucks here from now on.

Guys here have always been willing to help at the last minute or by appointment. Plus always kind and thorough quality of work.

Ive gone here to have work done on several cars, from minor to major things like an entire front end alignment/suspension replacement and have been very pleased with the work thats been done. Get back to me in a very timely manner and their pricing is always better than what I get quoted from other places. I no longer live in Florissant but will still go out of my way to come here to have repairs done.

While trying to find a 240sx for sale on craigslist i come across these guys posting their cars with 240sx as the tags along with other popular cars so more people will see the posts. i have my craigslist set to send me notifications when 240sx appears in a post but these guys refuse to take it out of their tags even though their selling grandma cars NOT 240sHeres a response to the owner: i DID message you and was told to change my search description to only search titles which clearly i wouldnt see any posts for people that dont put 240sx in the title

Reply to Jason Grill review.I am the owner of Old Town Automotive. We did install a used salvage yard engine into Jasons work truck, a 1995 Ford F250 with 170,000 miles. The truck is equiped with an above the cab camper shell used for hauling tools and materials for his construction job.When we get ready to quote an engine job, and we do it with nearly every engine job we do, we ask a question.Do you want a remanufactured engine that has a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty or do you want a less expensive option of a used engine out of a salvaged vehicle that comes with normally a 90 day, 3,000 mile warranty?Jason chose the used engine as he wasnt sure he was going to keep the truck given its age and mileage.After the engine was installed he had a couple of other repairs at our shop.We replaced a radiator after the engine at Jasons cost.Jasons engine developed a leak at the rear main seal of the engine after the 3,000 mile warranty.We then installed a rear main seal and changed the oil all for free.Jason next came in at 176k for an oil change.That was the last time the truck was at our shop. Whatever engine problem that has occurred happened 7,000 miles after the last time we saw the truck.Jason contacted me about this problem and I contacted the salvage yard I purchase parts from. With over 4 times the amount of mileage on the warranty they would not cover anything.We tried to work out a solution but the only option Jason would settle for was for us to replace his engine at no charge. That was not an option that was feasable given the mileage.Old Town Automotive stands behind all of its work and we tried to work out a solution to this problem. However, with this situation it was just not possible.

I had them put a used engine in my work truck. I told them at every 3000 mile oil change that I was having to add 5-6 qts of oil between every change. head gasket finally failed and hydrolocked 13000 miles after install. even though I had been complaining that something was wrong I was told the warranty had expired and there was nothing that they would do and never returned my last call to the service manager. shop around and read reviews and do not bring your vehicle here. Extremely dissapointed in this $3000 repair

There isnt a finer automotive shop around. Been going to Old Town since before it was even Old Town, and its always been the most honest work for the best price, and great work too.
