After looking around their services had the best prices and were able to come out and fix the issue very fast. I called up to have a pipe repaired underneath my sink, and they were very friendly and responsive! We scheduled a appointment and as soon as they arrived (on time nontheless) they began working immediately. The pipe was fixed within the hour! These boys are great with their pipes

I called to have tank-to-bowl bolts replaced for 4 toilets and to replace the washer on 2 drippy faucets. I guess I should have asked for an estimate first. 2 guys showed up and did everything in 2 hours. So total time was 4 hours worked (2 hours/plumber X 2 plumbers). I was billed $1910! That is $478 per hour worked. Seriously! My attorney charges less than that. I was going to ask them to replace the hot water tank and to fix a couple of other issues. Glad I didnt. Completely ridiculous. Wont be using them again. Total ripoff.

Called Richardson Plumbing to run a snake to unclog main line. We were quoted $375 to do the work. Two very nice young men showed up to perform the work. They were reluctant to remove the toilet to run the snake so used a smaller snake on the floor drain with no success. They then ran the bigger snake that they originally mentioned and unclogged the drain. Without any notice the price went from $375 to $600. I understand paying for the extra time but a $225 increase seems a bit extreme. Apparently we had to pay for the second person to stand there watching the other guy run the machine. If they would have done what they originally wanted to do it wouldn’t even have taken the extra time that they charged me for. Please be careful for unexpected price increases if you decide to use this company.

Richardson Plumbing remodeled our bathroom and did a fine job, we even had changes half way through the process. Jay Richardson was very friendly, straight forward on cost and really great to work with. The time took longer than we had hoped, but I can not fault them for that, because of everything that needed to be done. I would use them again ! Thank you Jay and everyone at Richardson Plumbing!!

I hate leaving bad reviews. But I just dont understand what happened. We had asked for an estimate about a year ago. Recently, I found out that the VA will assist disabled veterans with remodeling a bathroom. So we contacted Richardson Plumping about coming back out. When we called a week ago, they said they wouldnt need to come back out and that they would use the same estimate as before. However, the VA needed an itemized list of cost in order to approve the job. The estimate they provided just had a total cost. So I needed a breakdown. Just a list of materials and labor. They said they would get back with me. I called them Thursday, no response. I literally called them all day Friday with no response. I called them Monday, no response. I even left them a voicemail on Monday. Here we are going on Thursday and I still havent heard from them. I am now forced to find someone else to help me out with this.

They were fantastic. I needed some shut off valves installed for the outside faucets. Jay came out and was very quick with an estimate. Very good price to have the work done. He came out two days later when it was convenient for me and had the work done in less than an hour. Fantastic job.

Richardson plumbing scheduled their service at my property and made me wait a month. After the month they called and rescheduled for additional week. Then called again and canceled job.

I was looking for a plumber in the NKY area, and I found them on google. When I called, I spoke with a wonderful women named Lisa. She was very knowledgeable and got me scheduled right away. I had reviewed their website and it was very easy to navigate and helpful. They came and installed a new waste disposal and I was truly satisfied with all of the work they did. 100% professional from the website, Lisa and the plumber Jason.

Van #5429 crossed 3 lanes of traffic in downtown Cincinnati to get into the 471 south lane and nearly clipped the car in front of me. Very dangerous obviously the driver was on his phone. Get rid of this fool

We discovered our main sewage drain collapsed, which is something I dont wish for anyone to go through. For how rough this situation has been Richardson Plumbing did an amazing job. They were very quick on coming out and explaining what the issue was, the estimate cost and time to do the job. Ive never worked with a company that literally stuck to their word like they did. They came to my house, I had a broken outside faucet. The plumber was dressed nice and gave me options to fix or replace. They provided me with options and benefits to both. It was nice to have options and not some pushy salesman just trying to make a buck. They were also punctual, unusual these days. Thanks

We have used Richardson Plumbing s lot in the past several years and have always been pleased with the service and have remained loyal customers until now even though they were not always prompt in completing their services. However, we had an emergency come up today and they were unwilling to help us in our time of need. We will no longer be using Richardson Plumbing for our plumbing needs. Their lack of loyalty in our time of need is unacceptable. We went with another area company who is willing and even gave us a deal.

Jay helped me solve a plumbing issue that several other companies had walked away from. He personally makes sure that the work gets done to his satisfaction and mine. It means a lot to know that I can rely on and trust Richardson Plumbing whenever I have plumbing needs.

Worst ever. They set a time to come out today between 1-3, then didn’t show. I called and got an apology that they couldn’t get to me today and they could make it out Monday. Not acceptable. I made the appointment a week ahead of time. I would avoid this place at all costs.

We have a house in Independence. Ive used this company three times. All three jobs were done well. They work weekends to accommodate emergencies and are flexible on arranging appointments. The company cares about its reputation and and the performance and follow up shows. The owner is accessible and works with customers directly. I will use this company again in the future if need be. I recommend Richardson to anybody in the Tri-State.

Jay came out and did the estimate. A really nice guy and professional. Jason and another guy put in out bathroom in the basement. The major plumbing was there but they still had to bust up some concrete. Between the both of them the gave us exactly what we wanted, a rough beasement bathroom for our son and his friends. Nothing fancy. We got a tub/shower combo a sink with a vanity and a commode. We had help with framing the walls. I would use this company in a heartbeat because of Jays customer service when we had questions, he was prompt and solved the issue and work resumed. Jason and his helper was great too and they smell good too!

Richardson remodeled my grandmothers bathroom. They put in custom cast marble and it looked phenomenal. Id definitely hire them again.

Owner Jay and his team have always taken care of our many plumbing needs, over 3 decades. They have worked through a sudden death in the team last year. Each plumbing/HVAC company has its strength and its weakness - this and one other that we have worked with endeavor to do the job right, and to manage employees to the benefit of the customer.

Do not use this company. I had a water leak in my incoming service which turned out to be very minor in terms of work required and no heavy equipment needed or brought. 1800 dollars for 1.5 hours work, 2 guys with a shovel to dig a 3 foot deep hole and a fitting to make the repair. They knew that at that point I had little choice and completely took advantage of the situation. It is people like this that give the Trades a bad name and I think that their behavior is reprehensible.

Cannot get in touch with anyone for the last few weeks. Is the business still operating?

After being in the remodeling business for over 30 years myself and being retired now for seven years I lost a lot of my old plumbing companies that I used for years . And in January this year I helped my daughter buy a home in Taylor Mill Kentucky I was in Florida trying to get some of the plumbing updated and tried using Angies list to find a good local plumber and after a few bad dealings with a few of them I found Richardsons plumbing and met Jay and had my daughter involved in finding a good plumber to up date her house and let dad pay for it lol .But we met Jay and he gave us a bid showed up on time and gave us a fair price and so I told my daughter that they met our needs with their attention to answering the phone with a great helpful young lady to answer the phone and took care of the job planning time and they came and updated our plumbing and did a great job and cleaned up good and did not mess around and got it done and now dad can check the plumbing off his daughter fix up list and now I feel like we have a good plumbing company only a phone call away. Called to get service. Got berated because I didnt know what type I had (I wasnt in my home). Told them I had a home warranty as a new home owner and they cut me off and said they dont want to work with me.I then wanted to ask if they knew companies that they could recommend and they hung up on me. So I called back and got yelled at again and hung up on.Guess they wont want business

I live in Hebron, KY and had a serious sewer problem out in my yard. They came out and ran a camera in my sewer line and found where it was broken. This saved me thousands and unnecessary damage to my yard and pocketbook. The price was upfront and fair. They did what they said that they would do and I am grateful.

I had a problem with my kitchen water faucet, it broke and no water would come out. To make matters worse, we were having company that evening. We called Richardson Plumbing and Earl made a point to fit us into his busy schedule. Earl was very professional and did a very fine job installing a new kitchen faucet. I called Richardson Plumbing about a leak in the drain from the main floor bathroom dripping through the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. I had already turned off the water and pulled all the drywall away exposing the plumbing and took a lot of pictures. I sent them the pictures. They called back and said they could be here Monday morning but could not give me a price without seeing it. I understood but asked if they could give me a ballpark of worst case scenario based on the pictures. I was told roughly $795 based on 2 guys for half a day. When they came they decided they didnt need to tear everything out but instead cut and spliced in a repair. There were 2 guys here but only 1 needed and he worked for a total of 46 minutes. I was thrilled until the next day when they called for payment and STILL wanted $795 for 46 minutes work. They did knock $100 off my bill but $695 for 46 minutes is ridiculous.

My experience with Richardson plumbing started nice but ended with problems. The young woman that answered the phone was polite and helpful in booking my appointment.. likewise, the plumber that arrived was amiable, knowledgeable, and right on time.. 3 PM. At arrival, the plumber reaffirmed the nature of the visit, and we had a brief discussion regarding the low water pressure issues I was experiencing in the house. He identified the problem was the water pressure regulator, which is located on my ground floor (I do not have a basement). The price was fair - $325, so I told him to please proceed. After locating the main water shut off valve, and draining the pipes of excess water, he made a visit to his truck and returned with a replacement pressure regulator valve.. however when he attempted to install the new valve, the threads werent aligning properly due the fact it was a slightly different / newer model. At this point - he decided to cut the PVC pipe from the old valve, and use PVC cement glue to fuse the pipes together to make it so the threads did align. I assume he did this because he didnt have what he needed for my setup and didnt feel like leaving and making a second trip back - my assumption was confirmed when he later (after the incident) said I did the best with what I had in my truck at the time. After everything was in place, he allowed the glue about 25 minutes to dry. During that 25 minutes, I signed the necessary paperwork and handed him a check for the agreed amount. He then slowly turned the water back on, and continued to monitor it for a few minutes afterwards. Everything looked ok until we walked into the kitchen -- it was at that point that the glue seal blew, which caused a flood that spread throughout the kitchen, up to the dining room / living room where the carpet begins. I do not own a wet-dry vac, so I had to phone a neighbor to bring one over. We vacuumed up all the water we could find... unfortunately water spread to areas I cannot access, unless I rip out all the kitchen cabinetry, oven, and the drywall behind. The plumber returned the next morning with the correct materials and restored my water service. I called the Richardson plumbing office in the morning to explain what had happened.. thinking maybe they had a policy or contingency plan should something like this (a flood) occur, but it became painfully obvious that I was wasting my time.. I was offered $50.This incident was a result of the plumber taking a shortcut.. not faulty design, or pipe deterioration. I called in a professional because I didnt want to DIY and flood my house - the definition of irony. I understand people make mistakes, and I can accept that (Im not even upset with the plumber). His repeated apologies were genuine and sincere, and I accept. All Im asking for is accountability. Five days after the event, my 1st floor is starting to smell like a cave, and Richardson plumbing is acting as if nothing happened.
