I phoned Pee Dee Wildlife Control to schedule an inspection after the sighting of a small snake exiting the storage room under my carport. Tyler Wright came out and performed a thorough inspection of the room, the borders of the property, a storage barn, and the exterior of my home. Thankfully he did not find any additional snakes or evidence of snake activity. This truly eased my concerns. Tyler is professional, comfortable, confident and knowledgeable about wildlife. After viewing a snake working his way up around my back door I went around to where he was to try and grab him myself. He had hidden behind the top door trim and would never stick more than his head out. I wasnt sure what to expect calling on Labor Day, but I was assured theyd come right over. Mr. Matherly, and his daughter, went straight to the problem, and after a little coaxing and a quick hand grab, the Rat Snake was relaxing in their hands. I appreciate that they remove rather than destroy, and the care they had in calming this non-venomous fellow afterward.HIGHLY recommend!

Peedee wildlife control could not be reached, and when the police department did contact them, they were not interested in helping me at all.
