From the min I called and spoke to Lyons H&C, to book a tech to come out and repair our AC, I knew I was in good hands.I was worried about being scammed as my unit is well over 15 yrs old.Rob, our Tech, was a stand up guy! He was down to earth explaining everything and broke down price. The company was mindful of my budget and even offered a Military discount on parts! Josh and his guys were great. Went above and beyond to diagnose and repair my HVAC system. Replaced a blown motherboard and thermostat for a fair price, and they regularly checked up to make sure the system still ran well. Highly recommend.

After hours, and still educated me on my own repair I had choose to try out with out properly planning. Answered my questions and reassured could service if I was unable to complete myself. Called these guys when my usual servicer wasnt answering. They came out the next day, found the leak in the AC. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. My usual guy called back and its under warranty so I was just gonna pay Lyons the service charge. They didnt charge anything and told me to call if I need them!

Rob came and went straight to work he got my ac fixed in a timely manner and answered all my questions. Thankfully he was able to do it before it got in the 90s that day.

From start to finish Lyons Heating and cooling was a class act. very responsive even during late hours when my old furnace had a hiccup, Installed my new hot water heater, A/C unit and even moved some filters for me. A real package deal, made sure to work late to get the job finished as I was on a time crunch between contractors. This is one of the best heating companies Ive ever had a chance to use I take care of my father and his heat went out josh came out on a sunday and fixed the heat but then the blower went out and I have had a hard time with helping my dad I told josh I would have to ask some friends to loan me some money to fix it he text me right back and said john let me help u and ur dad out I will take care of the blower its on me this guy who doesnt know me or my family went out of his way to help my father out I can only say one thing thank god their are guys like josh and his company for helping my family out when no one would u are so awesome thank u so much my dad is going to sleep good tonight thanks josh

I recently had a new boiler installed, replacing one that was over 50 years old. Josh & Mike did a great job with the new installation, and disposal of the old. Josh is very knowledgeable with boiler functions & installations. He added several features to my new system to ensure lowest energy costs. Josh came out twice this year. Once to fix my AC and once to clean/inspect my 20 year old furnce. His prices were very reasonable and he did a very thorough inspection. When he came out to fix my AC, he was concerned that with the cold winter, my heat exchanger might be cracked like he had seen with other customers so I had him come out to clean and inspect it. With the age of the furnace I was prepared to buy a new one, but he told me everything looked great and to have him come back in a couple years. Hes very friendly and professional.

I have a toddler in the house and our AC went out putting it to about 84-85 for a few days. It finally got unbearable. Josh answered the call and came out immediately because he happened to literally be driving right by the house. What a blessing! He got straight to the problem and fixed it quickly. This company was so unprofessional. The guy working on my furnace was over three hours late and didn’t even really have a good reason other than he had to track down parts for another client.The communication was extremely poor. I had to keep calling and leaving messages to see where the Workman was at with little response. If he had to fit us into his schedule it would have been nice to know that up front and not be left in the cold for hours waiting and wondering when they would show up.After the guy arrived, he was very unprofessional. He kept saying how disgusting our furnace was and kept going outside to breathe. Repeatedly saying how nasty it was. Which made me embarrassed and feel poorly. Needless to say I would never recommend them to anyone and I won’t be using them again.

Our air conditioner fan motor quit working in August. After a google search for local heating and cooling businesses, I chose Lyons because they are located in our community and had some good reviews. I was extremely satisfied with the response from the tech that called. He kept us updated on his arrival time even when they said they would be held up on another job. We were never left wondering. Once they arrived they promptly and honestly diagnosed the problem, informed me of the price and replaced the part. The unit works flawlessly now. After the repair, they did a quick inspection of my heating system and made some recommendations for maintenance and some rather accurate predictions about the life of my furnace! They changed the filter and gave me a spare and charged me nothing extra for those or the inspection. I was also offered a military discount which I wasnt expecting but happily accepted. If this is the kind of service I can always expect from Lyons, then they have gained a life-long customer and I will recommend them without hesitation.

Soooo, I went to turn on my heat the other day as the current cold snap was really getting frosty. Nothing. No spark. To make it worse, my furnace is a 34 year old Lennox Pulse G14, which apparently translates into Lamborghini type repairs. I called a few local shops and had zero luck. Then I stumbled upon Lyons Heating and Cooling. Josh, the owner rushed out to my house, made servicing my furnace his top priority and explained what part failed, why it failed, where it failed and gave me the best option. He was able to locate the part overnight and get my heat going for MUCH less then I would have expected. To me, its a win win. A local business, excellent service, a great attitude and wonderful prices. If you are in the market for an HVAC company, Give Lyons a call.

When I hired a building company to construct a house for my family I insisted that Lyons Heating & Cooling will install the HVAC system. We pre paid for a clean and check. Josh said he would be at our house the next day by noon and never showed up. We called several times, each time he said he would be there in a half hour and still never showed up. By 6 pm he caled us and said he was unable to make it that day and would be at our house first thing the next morning between 9 and 930. By this time he knew we had no heat and that he was no longer going to be doing just the cleaning but also fixing it. My girlfriend and our baby were left at home waiting for him both days in the freezing cold ( it was 20 degrees out) . He still never showed up the next morning. We called him at 945 aupset that he never showed up and he again he would be here in a half hour. By 11 am we called and completely cancelled his service.and got intouch with a amore reliable company.After receiving such unreliable service we went and wrote a bad review about what happened. Ever since then this company has been harassing us, texting us and threatening to sue us if ee dont take down our review.We have had to resort to caling the police more then once because of this.I highly DO NOT recommend this company unless you decide to kiss his butt and write a grwat review, even you have poor service. Otherwise he will harass you relentlessly and threaten to sue you.
