When I called to have the stems replaced on my tub faucet, so they knew it was a pluming call. The service guy showed up and had no pluming parts on his truck. He was at my house for a total of 10 minutes, said he had to run back to the shop to see if they had the parts.He was gone for about an hour, when he got back he said it would be $446.00 to replace the stems and handles( you can get a whole new faucet for $100) . When I told him no thank you I was charged a $90 service call. My question would be what service did I pay for. The guy was there less then 10 minutes, . So I paid for him to drive back to his shop when they knew it was a pluming call, and not have any pluming parts on the truck and then to give me a ridiculous price. I DO NOT RECOMEND EVER USING THIS COMPANEY !!!

We are so very happy with Terry Allen. Not only did they come in a short window of time put included the trip charge with their service. Another company was going to share us 475.00 more than they did as well as replacing two parts not need. If you want the best service ever call Terry Allen!

Had terry allen install my furnace and air a couple year ago and just had them out for a maintenance call tech. Joe was very professional did an outstanding job I highly recommend them

I called Terry Allen and within 4 hours they were out to my home.From the moment I called Miss Danielle was extremely kind hearted, the technician Joe that came out was very informative he made me feel knowledgeable about what was wrong with my furnace and what was needed to fix it. He even checked it over with a fine tooth comb to make sure there was nothing else.From waking up to no heat, & from beginning to end, the manager on duty, both of the ladies that took my call, and the technician made a sad situation, a not so bad one! I am grateful🙂# This was my 2nd time using them. Ill be back! Well not too soon I hope!😂😂

This company is very unprofessional. After repetitive calling I finally received my quote. (1st RED FLAG.). I hired them to do some plumbing in my home. I went & paid them the down payment immediately. My check was cashed in April & the communication was delayed. They were denied the permit because it was for rough plumbing only. This company didnt call to tell me this. (2nd RED FLAG) The Building Inspector called to tell me. I called to see how we could move forward. I was told by Walter oh we can do the finish. I would just need to know the items we would be installing just email it to me. I asked what exactly would I need to send you? He stated the fixtures. I sent an email with the dimensions of the tub the type of sink & toilet & shower. Never received an email back after asking if it was correct. I called every other day & would get the same spiel. Hes not in would you like to leave a message. I left several messages still no call back. I called on 5/12/21 & was told to call him in the morning around 9am he doesnt have anything scheduled til 1pm. So I called & was told he was out. I became frustrated because now I feel like Im being lied to & being spun. Walter calls about 45min later & tell me that they cant do the finish plumbing because I didnt fill out the list correctly. What list? You didnt tell me about a list. Oh yea we need the item numbers that you want installed. He said no such thing. He lied because I told them rude females that was answering the phone that this is unprofessional hes not returning any of my calls or emails & have my money. I said thats totally fine. When can I pick up my check. He said its ready now call & someone will bring it out. I would not use this company.

I had a Clogged toilet *Thanks to my children😏 & after calling Terry Allen, they dispatched Eric over, who was just overall Amazing, Friendly, Clean, Respectful & Understanding, after taking a look at the toilet, He was able to quickly identify the causes, made repairs & within a few minutes, I was able to Flush my toilet again & the best part was, He Didnt Leave A Mess Afterwards, BROWNIE POINTS FROM ME, Keep Him Around 💯🤜🏼🤛🏼If I ever have any more issues in the future, I will not hesitate to call You Guys Back,Thanks Again 🤗

Been going there for 35 plus years. Doors were lock, Sign on the door requested that you call with specific parts for pick up. Only found a nice lady that was walking out back who worked there whom also informed me that it was phone order only and there was no plumber on hand for advice and that I needed to have specific parts that was needed. I understand we are under Covid precautions, however there are many other places that were open that day during the week and was more than helpful with resolving my issue. I thanked them and told them I appreciated thier willingness to help, their reply Thats what were here for . They also had heard from other customers about Terry,s not letting people in. They also acknowledged that everyone isnt a plumber and sometimes need help. I give one star for the nice lady that tried to help.

They were incompetent and not confident in being able to complete the job due to the involvement of the job required. They backed down on pursuing the job and so I had to contact Goyette to come and complete the job, which I was very satisfied, they did a great job.

Terrible experience, had to wait outside for 20 minutes at least it was decent outside today, but being disabled is pretty hard to stand forever. Then didnt have the part for my furnace and couldnt even tell me a place that may carry it. Worst ever, Ill do my business with genesee refrigeration and heating on bristol road from now on!

Chad came to my house to fix a plumbing problem in my bathroom, he was very friendly and professional. He went above and beyond my expectations. He was very personable and to me thats what put his customer service above the rest! I would highly recommend Chad and Terry allen plumbing and heating.

Total rip off, had them out to look at a heat issue at a property of mine. $69 service call is reasonable, so I expected the service rates to match. The issue was simply a bad thermostat on the wall. They wanted $150 to install a cheap $5 thermostat.Simply put, service rates are outrageous and they lure you in with reasonable service call.

The estimate for connecting the kitchen sink single drain and faucet hot and cold line was $470. Three times the actual cost for a 20 minute job. Beware excessively over priced.

Was running a little late but that was the only problem as Mike Allen worked very hard to addressed all of our concerns. Very personable and great work. Will definitely do business with them in the future.

I had a problem with my furnace only blowing cold air. I kind of had an idea about what was wrong but as far as fixing it, it was all Latin to me. I called Terry Allen the next morning and had them come out and take a look. A serviceman named Roy showed up and immediately went to work checking my Goodman furnace. I told him that I thought it was one of the limit switches and he helpfully agreed. He then checked every switch with me and we finally found the source of the problem (the hardest switch to get to of course). During the whole service, Roy was very helpful and open minded to the whole situation. He could have easily tried to sucker me into replacing each switch or replacing the circuit board but instead he simply reset my existing switch. I appreciate good, old fashion, straight to the point service and would highly recommend Terry Allen for any furnace repair in the future. Thank you very much

Done business with Terry Allen for a few decades or more. Always did what was expected. Always cleaned up afterward and got the job done.Not sure what OP are reviewing, but Ive never had any problems with them and Ive had 2 ACs installed in 2 houses, a sewer line/tiles replaced, and sewer line fixed inside (not to mention a few small jobs)Cost is high as with other plumbers, but competitive.Customer support has been good to great the few times I needed it.

Plumbed a/c condensate to a blocked basement drain and refused to remedy the problem while my basement flooded for three days while denying responsibility.

I called for service at my grocery store in flint and as usual they were fast, friendly, and fair. I would reccomend them to anybody!

The friendly and happy plumber came in today and he did his work right and efficiently.This is the third time that I called this company to come in over the years.All plumbers charge alot. Just keep praying that you do not run to any problem.

Repairman came right out but quote for repair for leak was so ridiculously high l decided to pay very high service call but not have repair done. Called another plumber who repaired leak extremely well and quick for 1/2 the price.

Had terrible experience with them. Got a quote and eventually went with them to replace my boiler. Every step of the process was botched. They didnt have all the necessary parts for the installation. They forgot to install some parts. First night the boiler did not work. They never had the installation inspected. Had to have another contractor come out to inspect their work. Other contractor gave me a long list of all the issues wrong with installation. Had Terry Allen come back out, they still did not fix all the problems. Had to give up because of the cost. Never use this company for boiler installs.

I have luke warm water in the shower and scalding hot water in the sink and in the kitchen. The plumber tried to get me to pay for a new hot water heater. Why? Then he claimed that I needed new heating elements. Again the water is scalding everywhere else in the house. This was a second time coming because he didnt fix it the first time. Claimed that he came out 2 months prior when I just bought the home a month and a half before. Nothing but lies.

My condo association sent this company out to fix a leak that was coming from the bathroom. The plumber who came out initially told me he couldnt figure out where the leak was coming from. When he spoke to my association he made them believe he did know. At this point he told me that I was already going to have to pay $190 for the service call because it was a weekend. He then told me that this fee is not applied to the total cost because its a weekend. The total cost was $350 just to replace the wax and seal around the toilet. We are still not sure if that totally fixed the problem. This company is way over priced and should not have emergency services if they are going to tack on an outrageous fee for it.

Total rip off an on top of that now I have no running cold water coming from the bathroom tub faucet including the stream is extremely slow smh the handles dont work the same just terrible work for excessively high prices

The plumbers were nice but the lady that answers the phone is unprofessional. She was going back and forth with me over the phone which is not was businesses should do. She was very rude and for that they just lost a customer.

I had them install a garbage disposal and a new sink faucet,they said they wont give me a price until they get there, whenthey got there they wanted $500 for the job, by then my kitchensink was down for the last 4 days, (which the took full advantage of),and i had to get it done. it only took the plumber 2 hours, i ended uppaying $250 per hour.

Very professional and knowledgeable. I went in not knowing exactly what I needed just a picture and a fitting and came out with the exact fittings that I needed.

Charged too much money, two trip charges after they said it would be subtracted if I got the work done, and my sink is leaking after they fixed the problem. I was told they unclogged the drain but didnt do pipe work. How can you fix the drain without removing the pipes?!!!!! Dont waste your money. Customer service stinks like the Flint water!!!!

Out standing couldnt ask for better would recommend them . My air has been a god send you are the only ones that came and did the job at a grate price beat the comp. by hundreds of dollars thanks for the honesty.

One of my commercial buildings needed service to get back up and running...made the call and was told tech would be there in about an hour store was to open in two hours...long story short..he arrived in twenty minutes...ten minutes before the inspector showed up...he spoke with the inspector...he was given half an hour to find the problem and correct it if possible....Im glad to say he did and I was able to open my business to the public...Thanks Terry Allen

I am totally happy with the replacement furnace that was installed by Terry Allen.

Plumber was very nice BUT services were over priced. My bathtub was draining slow so I called someone out. The guy came into my bathroom and said Im gonna try plunging it first to see if that helps because thats the cheapest thing to try first. If this works its gonna cost you around 109. All he did was plunge my bathtub and took a hairball the size of a penny out of my drain and charged me 120. He wasnt even here 5 minutes. I asked about him coming back out free of charge if it clogged again (bc he barely did anything) and he said they dont do that. DONT CALL THEM!

Got parts for furnace and they couldnt tell me what wire went where,, they told me to experiment with it because they didnt know either !

This company is a rip off they charged me 70$ to come out and tell me if my septic pump was bad so the guy came out and tells me it might be bad it might not and then sed it will be 250 to check it and tell me if its bad and the and a new pump would be a 1000$ plus labor on top of that i did it my self for 300$ for a pump and less then a hour to do it so terry alen is a joke rip off scam !
