I was visiting from out of town for thanksgiving and had a really bad tooth pain from my recent filling. West flag dental gave me an appointment the same day and were super helpful! I moved to Flagstaff in 2012 and took my kids to another dentist in town; the atmosphere and process was not a good fit for us and at times I felt I was being sold on procedures. We then moved to Dr. Starks office. He is an excellent dentist for kids and adults; the atmosphere is calm, personable, and pleasant. If Dr. Stark recommends a filling for my kids, you know it needs to be done for the child not for the practice. I go to Rachel for my dental cleanings - the cleanings are not rushed, She does an excellent and thorough job. Dr. Stark and his staff are very friendly and helpful --I highly recommend this dental practice for each member of your family.

The BEST Dentist I have ever been to, and will ever go to again! I have been to several dentists over the course of my adult life in several states and from all of those experiences, I actually now travel to have my work done by Dr. Stark, because simply he and his staff are the best. The environment is warm and welcoming and the entire staff put the patient and their needs (and fears) first. Their bedside manner is top notch and they are focused on the patient as a whole and not what the problem is that needs to be fixed. Ive never had the opportunity to connect with the staff and create a relationship in any office like I have here. As a result, my entire family are loyal patients and refuse to go anywhere else. The staff are very friendly, professional, and communicate every step of the procedure so any fears of the dentist chair are diffused right away. The comfort of the patient is their focus. Dr. Stark does excellent work and takes his time so that its done right the first time. He is very calm, communicative, and he is hilarious! He and his staff are just as amazing with my children as well. I had an excellent experience at Dr. Starks office. My teeth have never been cleaned so thoroughly! Each member of the staff was friendly, professional, and personable. Dr. Stark took the time to review my x-rays with me and then we talked about all the different options in regards to my dental care. After explaining all the options to me and answering all my questions, he allowed me to make the decision that I felt was best for my person situation. Going to Dr. Stark was a great experience. I was greeted by an incredible staff, and Dr. Stark was very friendly and personable. He was able to explain everything that he was checking for. I really felt like he wanted me to understand the health of my teeth. I also had my 2 kids with me. The kids had no problem sitting in the chair while their teeth were cleaned. Dr. Stark worked great with the kids and helped them feel calm during the appointments. So glad our familys dentist trip was positive!!!

I had a tooth crowned this week The procedure was almost painless. Dr Stark had a computerized machine in the office that measured the exact size of my tooth. Another machine milled/shaped the crown for the tooth I was in and out of the office with my new crown not a temporary one in 2hrs. A very painless dental experience. An outstanding dental staff!

I have or should I say had an extreme fear of dentists. I would avoid at all costs becoming one of their numbers. Needless to say, my fear of going to the dentist resulted in some major work that needed to be done to my mouth due to avoiding at all costs, going to the dentist. I contacted Dr. Starks office to set up a visit and explained to Brittany my extreme fear of the dentists office. She was so over the top wonderful and promised I would have a very positive experience. I arrived at the office for my appointment and she greeted me by name as I walked in. This had a really calming effect. I waited less than 5 minutes and walked back for a teeth cleaning and met with Dr. Stark. I have never in all my visits to his office had to wait more than 5 minutes to be called back and my visit starts. Such a wonderful and personable man that explained what he felt needed to be done, but left me to make my decision with no pressure. I followed his advise and have never been happier with the result. He performed major surgery with extractions and fitted with denture/partials. My experience has exceeded all my expectations and feel that I am not just a number at his office, but an important patient of his. I have and still will highly recommend him to everyone. He takes extreme pride in the service that he offers all his patients. An extreme plus is that everyone in the office including Dr. Stark calls you by name without even looking at charts!!!! Dr. Stark will be my forever dentist.

So, it had been about 5 years since I had been to the dentist and was a little nervous about the whole experience. Dr. Starks office is a wonderful family operated office. They strive to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They are honest and reward you for good behavior (they gave me a nice card congratulating me on being smoke free for 2 years!) I am definitely glad I found them and will be going back as long as a live in Flagstaff. I would recommend them to anyone especially those who have dental fears because they are kind and gentle.

My long-time dentist retired recently. I delayed finding a new one for a long (too long!) time, and eventually had some major problems arise. So far Ive had my initial appointment/cleaning, and my first root canal ever. (Im not a spring chicken!) Every aspect of my visits has been positive. The office is easy to find, the office staff are awesome - friendly, cheerful. They play a wide variety of music, which is a wonderful and calming distraction. Dr. Stark impresses me with his knowledge, skills, and is very personable. Its obvious when entering the office that things are well taken-care-of. I cant recommend Dr. Stark and his staff highly enough!

Great Dentist. Very friendly staff, willing to squeeze me in over their lunch break. Crissy was my hygienist, she did a great job during my cleaning, I felt zero pain. I have my wife go here, she has sensitive teeth and she has also had positive experiences. Over all I would give the establishment a8/10, but that is just because I can tell he is doing work to overhaul the looks of the facility, Im sure when it is all done it will be a 10/10!

Dr. Stark is the bomb! I can honestly say he is my most favorite dentist that I have ever been too. I am usually very nervous at the dentist and put off visits for as long as possible. But he made me feel very comfortable and acted like he really cared about me as a patient and person. He is definitely my new permanent dentist and I will be going back in regularly for check ups. Everyone in this office is amazing! I have been a patient at Dr. Stark’s office for a number of years. Dr. Stark, the hygienists, and the office staff are always friendly and a joy to work with. Both Dr. Stark and the hygienist (Rachel) take time to ensure that I am as comfortable as possible during procedures. While I won’t say that I enjoy going to the dentist, I do think that Dr. Stark and his staff make it a stress-free experience.

Have had minor work done, and multiple cleanings. Dr. Stark is great, and the Hygienists (particularly Rachel) are excellent! Teeth come out very clean, and it is not painful! A great experience.

After my husband and I moved here a little over a year ago I began looking for a dentist in the Flagstaff area. I called around and when I called Dr. Starks office the women who answered the phone was so kind. She took the time to answer my questions and get appointments set up for both me and my husband. The hygenist that cleaned my teeth was so great, she even took the time to give me some pointers on how I could better floss my teeth. Dr.Stark is a WONDERFUL dentist, he took the time to address all of the concerns I had about my teeth and did a good job filling my cavities(quick and painless). I would highly recommend Dr.Stark and his fabulous staff to anyone in need of good quality dental care.

Recently I needed to see Dr Stark for an emergency dental problem. He was able to fit me in within an hour and helped me with an nasty looking broken front tooth. I have been really happy with Dr. Stark and his staff! He was dentist number five in Flagstaff for me and I think Ive finally found who I need to be with. I highly recommend his practice!

Ive been going to Dr. Stark now for several years and the experience is never less than pleasant! The staff is personable and they take time to get to know you - as more than just a patient. My previous dental experiences were horrible, I dont have naturally great teeth and was sometimes made to feel like this was my fault. This never happens at Dr. Starks - there is no guilt or condemnation, just a good natured, positive attitude and a plan to fix the problem.I am always in and out quickly, with none of that endless sitting around in the waiting room. Also they take my insurance, so paying for the service never breaks the bank.Dental issues are never fun to deal with, but with Dr. Stark and his team theyre no longer something to dread.

Receptionist was unhelpful when explaining my bill and insurance. It was going to take 4 sessions for a teeth cleaning? Got a bill 3 months after I quit going here for $40 and receptionist can’t explain why? Never even met the dentist despite being here twice. They also would not accept my xrays from my previous dentist. Which required me to get new xrays that cost me $300 out of pocket because my insurance wouldn’t cover multiple xrays in a two year span. Go with someone else.

Dr. Stark is the best dentist I have ever been to. The last time he treated me was more than 4 years ago but I still think about how grateful I am for how he worked to change my life when all other dentists said it was impossible to fix my teeth. He is a miracle worker! The partial denture he made for me is so good that not only is it still in perfect condition but if it ever breaks Im considering going straight back to him (though I live in Utah) just so he can fix it or make another. Hes THAT good! Not to mention how kind and understanding he is which meant the world after the trauma Id experienced. THANK YOU, Dr. Stark, for teaching me to smile again!

I took my oldest son to see Dr. Stark a few years ago after he had a very unpleasant experience with another Dentist. I was so nervous taking my son anywhere, as he was so scared of any dental procedure. Dr. Stark was so patient and kind towards my son. He explained every part of the procedure to make him feel at ease. We have seen Dr. Stark several times since then and have had nothing but positive experiences. I would recommend Dr. Stark to anyone. He was great.

I was very apprehensive to get my crowns done because I often have difficulty with numbing shots. Dr Stark was very tender and aware of my concerns, he was gentle as he delivered the shots and checked frequently to be sure I was handling the procedure well. When the crowns were done on the appointed date, the office scheduled me in to have them placed without difficulty and without an unnecessary waiting period. Follow up was also impressive, Dr Stark called me at home to be sure I wasnt having any pain or problems with the crowns. I had a tooth go crazy and started making calls. Doctor Starks office made room in there schedule that day. I think some dentists might have pulled that tooth, but he took the time and did a difficult root canal and saved it. I was missing two teeth from similar situations, and Dr. Ben talked to me about implants. He took the time to talk me thru the process, and we went for it. I now have a full set again. He is the youngest dentist Ive ever had, super nice and knows what he is doing.

Being from out of state and having the need to visit the dentist is never a plus. Dr. Stark though came highly recommended and so I gritted my teeth and went to see him. He got me right in and made me feel at ease. His casual banter of sports (basketball in particular) helped relax me more than the Novocain. We both found out we have a passion for Doomday Preppers and by the time we were finished talking about the daily water consumption of a family of 5 and how many bullets are enough (I’m still right you can never have enough bullets), the tooth was prepped, cleaned, cavity located and filled. Besides repairing my tooth he has repaired my faith in humanity. I hate to say this but this trip to the Dentist did not “bite”. If you ever find yourself in or around Flagstaff stop in and say hi to Dr. Stark and his award winning staff. They will make you smile.

After it was too late, I realized a hole that started between 2 teeth and became a food trap was an advanced decay that had reached my nerves and began to hurt. I learned that I would need surgical attention. And my main options were between a root canal therapy and a crown or an extraction ...which could be followed up with hardware to hold an implant in place.I was weighing out the odds and averages on success rate and longevity of both options. And during this time Dr. Stark gave me telephone consultation to help me a better understand the choices and the factors more personal to my particular situation/tooth. I do not have dental insurance and so wanted something with a better chance of long term stability.I read/heard horror stories from root canal treatment patients. And I got the impression that there may be some less-conscientious practitioners out there. I originally chose the extraction and to get a crown because its an important chewing molar. But I also knew there could be complications with THAT process and wasnt sure about being that extreme if it could be avoided.On the day of the first procedure, I was still 2nd-guessing my choice so Dr. Stark said hed clean up the decay and well see how the remaining tooth looks for reliability to hold up. And so he gave that a try first and realized that I had more remaining tooth than he thought I might and offered to change the procedure to a root canal if I was more comfortable with that.I tend to prefer less-invasive health measures and knew Dr. Stark would use a 2-phased treatment to ensure the most complete infection eradication possible. I have heard of practitioners advertising 1-stop root canal treatment. However I would not trade what seems to me to be a more thorough remedy just to get done faster--if I have that time to wait on the healing and additional disinfection with the medicine.When I went back for the 2nd stage of the root canal process, the tooth/gum area still felt tender so Dr. Stark offered to postpone the procedure to get a more complete healing. In a few weeks, we finished that and now I have a porcelain crown that feels completely natural on the 1st day.So obviously I wont know for years how long this will hold up but I at least have a secure feeling that Dr. Stark gave the therapy the best chance it can have. He didnt rush me or the process and was available for consultation to understand the options. He was flexible in his treatment plan determination and I sensed him to be experienced and genuinely desiring to do the best thing for each individual. And I was referred to him by piers who share my appreciation of him.Also, his assistants were competent and helped me feel comfortable with the experience. I consider Dr. Stark a talented Dentist with compassionate intentions and a reputable practice.

I really dont enjoy going to the dentist, I havent been in years because of passed experiences, but my girlfriend made me and I am really happy she did, Dr. Stark is really easy going and I liked how he tells you exactly whats wrong/if there even is and what he can do to help and make everything go very smoothly as possible and whatever I needed he is willing to work with me so I can be on track to oral health. Rachel cleaned my teeth and I was very confortable, no pain and everything went great. Everyone in the office is very nice and helpful, now I am going to the dentist every 6 mon and for treatment.

Im going to write a gloing review about Dr. Benjamin Stark and his staff! Words cant truly express the visit I had with Dr. Stark for the first time. My family had been seeing another Pork, or should I say, Bacon dentist which could care are less about his patients, along with rude staff members. Move forward, to our families initial cleanings.........Ill I can say is WOW. His dental hygenists were extremely caring, experienced and personable too. As for Dr. Stark, he took the time to explain every detail of what was going on in my mouth and addressed a few problem areas. He office was also available to handle all four of our family members on the same visit! Office is clean and tidy. One day later after our initial dental appointment we received a letter in the mail welcoming our family to his dental practice!! Everyone from the office signed the card...........call me old fashioned, but way to make a first impression ;-) Thank you Dr. Stark! p.s. We had ourconsultation visit with Dr. Spendlove today and went over Orthodontics for my girls. What a great refferal too. A pleasure to give your dental office 5 stars!!
