USPS doesn’t know how to do their job. They don’t even try to deliver packages or fit items into your mail they always leave a slip so I have to pick up all of my packages. What’s the point of USPS?? Would leave zero stars is possible.
Got my diploma delivered after 4 months of waiting and what happens?It is marked as USPS certified flat and DO NOT FOLD in big bold letters what do they do ? force it into my mail box and tear it up when they are putting it in there.Would give zero stars if I could.

Make sure you insure and have tracking on ALL your packages. We have had packages with proper postage and a valid address returned to sender with no notifications what so ever. In the description they claimed they couldnt access our mailbox when we live in an open grounds apartment complex. How is that even possible? No pickup notice or anything. They just kept our package for 4 days and then sent it back. We have 0 issue picking up mail if you tell us its there! I get an email (even though I requested a phone call) that the issue was resolved. Resolved how? My international package is on its way back over seas and I have to pay shipping AGAIN.
This office isn’t much different in performance than any other post office. They have zero sense of urgency, a non-caring attitude and gross incompetence. Just one incident as an example: a customer sent me a pkg via UPS overnight service and was received and signed for by Vivian at this location at 930 AM. I came by later on to pickup the package, only to be informed that “they don’t have anyone to check it in”, and I couldn’t pick it up. Huh? This is just ONE example of the incompetence of the postal service, and I’ve experienced many. It’s a clear reason of why the postal service loses billions of dollars a year. It needs to be shut down, saving tax payers the money and headache of dealing with their nonchalant incompetence.
We got some extra help here with renewing a passport. They reviewed our form for mistakes without us asking and made sure we were sending all the correct documents.Very helpful.

I would give negative stars, if possible. -10 if I could. I have had numerous packages now go to the wrong address. I mean, isn’t it the job of the PO to deliver the mail to the RIGHT address. I’m sorry but Covid and dyslexia are not excuses. It’s your job to deliver the freaking mail! The postal service needs to be privatized immediately so mail can be delivered on-time, efficiently, and to the CORRECT ADDRESS.

My package could not be delivered due to the parcel lockers being full. So I scheduled to redelivery for February 6 on Saturday and I still had not received my package so I went down there today and my package was just sitting there and noone informed me. On top of that we have been getting mail from previous tenants that should have been forwarded already. I understand being overwhelmed due to covid however covid started a year ago and they still cant seem to figure out how to get their act together to run things smoothly and its kind of pathetic. The employees are rude and everyone is just lazy.

The staff has always been very courteous and professional; it is not their fault that rates have gone up and the lines and tension have accelerated. The Post Office is the lifeblood of this country...so the negative comments are not very helpful to Postal Service veterans Joel, Laverne, stellar mail carrier Eric and all those who really do care to do a good job under strained circumstances. The staff is equally friendly downtown; lets support and not drag them down as we muddle through uncertain times.

After our mailman retired 8 years ago, no one has been hired as a permanent carrier for our route. We often have a different carrier every few days. Mail sometimes gets delivered long after dark. Sometimes not at all. When holding mail for vacation, all of our held mail has been lost twice. Our route is not far from downtown so I dont understand the problem. Worst service ever.

The people who work here are rude, do not care about people’s packages or where they get dropped off! They tell me it’s an insufficient address when it’s complete correct and they wont drop it off in the front office of the building i live at?? You go to the post office and they people are rude and inconsiderate.

It wasnt the location it was the mail carrier working the week of August 19th on Broken Rock loop. Driving fast through the neighborhood and not stopping to pick up mail going out when the flag was up on mail box. He was not our usual carrier. SLOW DOWN. My piece if mail going out still hasnt reached its destination. 10 days from Flag to Phx !
In my 71 years, the US Post Office has never let me down. The price is right, the people are wonderful to work with.
Always a pleasure to visit, never too busy, and the workers go above and beyond- when we reported a missing package, they found it within a day because all the carriers know their routes so well. One employee even gave my 5-year-old a whole tutorial on how their package weighing system works!

Some of the slowest, laziest, most disrespectful people in town work here. Packages missing, mail already opened, delivering mail at 9:30 at night. They need to clean house and hire a whole team.
Most people - almost all - who work here are friendly and competent. I have visited here often, and so I believe my opinion is valid.
Do not EVER have a package held for pickup in Flagstaff. The LAZY employees at this facility should be fired - apparently my package containing a live fish was held for pickup all day while marked as out for delivery and only updated when the place closed. So, now, this live animal has to spend an extra night and could end up dying. Its post offices like this one that make me think we should stop paying them with tax dollars.
Rain, snow sleet or hail the usps promise to deliver your mail....unless, a car is parked in front of your box and three steps the carrier will not walk.Our neighborhood mail carrier will not walk three steps to deliver our mail his excuse is he is not getting out of his vehicle so if a legally parked car is near a mailbox then he wont deliver. The fact is that the very next delivery he has is an apartment complex where he must get out of his vehicle to get to their boxes. Hmmmmm.....literally three steps away and wasnt even our car that was legally parked.
Dont expect your packages to ever be on time, if delivered at all. I dont know why we bother paying for a PO box here, they should hire more sorters if they cant manage to put items into the PO boxes on time.Dont ask them for help either or they will act like youre the bad guy.. typical government employees.

Stinky old building, great staff. This post office is definitely suffering from age and smells of mold. I get dizzy in there. But, the workers are always helpful and friendly.
Joel helped me out. Calm and professional despite an incredibly full line (that moved surprisingly quick), helped me with my shipment out to China and was able to help me with some of the trickier customs questions. 5/5 would go there again.
Post XMAS rush and the presents I had mailed to Florida had not arrived. Seeking assistance at this USPS location, I was treated with courtesy, care, and completely professional support. In the end my package arrived at its destination. Thanks to all of you. Often it is easy to criticize, and we should take more time to extend our appreciation for a job well done!

I always get great service when I am there.
They always say that they attempted delivery, but most of the time my spouse and I have been home all day and havent seen a single person trying to drop off our packages. This past time that it happened, I went to the main post office only to be told my package was at the downtown location. When I went to the downtown location, they said it was at the main office. I am absolutely sick and tired of the constant poor service.
I ordered general delivery, i couldn’t pick it up because they hadn’t sorted the mail after Memorial Day. I had to leave town that day so Joel front counter very kindly organised to send it to Moab for me. Really appreciate Joel’s kindness. Thank you. Visit JOEL at the front counter!
Sent a gift to my family in Albuquerque an was told that it was lost. The gift was worth 300 dollars. Post office did me dirty. An its the first time I ever used the post office to send gifts. Now I know how they really work. An its a government job...wow!

On the contrary, I love this location because its convenient, but not bogged down with downtown traffic. Theres always abundant parking and courteous staff and during busy times multiple windows open. Thankyou and Happy Holidays!
DO NOT GO HERE FOR PASSPORT SERVICE. Go to the Superior Court instead. Trying to work with these people to get a passport was difficult. Id rather get a tooth extracted without anesthesia while waiting in line at the DMV. The folks at the Superior Court will even smile at you.
Hi-Update- I was called by the Flag Post Office superviser . Somehow my package was delivered to someplace in California. Also the hours given for the phone number on the Post Office website are not correct for customers.I am so grateful that the Flag PO called so I could begin to find my Package. I have had mostly great experiences at this post office. Typically this post office handles volume much better than the downtown office. The USPS treats its customers like trash, and due to this fact postal workers are often treated unfairly. Try not being a douche bag, these low level workers are doing their best to serve you and have nothing to do with the poor state of the USPS.PS. Yumi rocks.
Phone service is non existent so why list the phone number? Wait time on the phone is 90 minutes. If I could walk, even I could walk there faster than that. Unfortunately I am not able to walk anymore. A simple question now has to wait until I can get someone to take me there.My letter carrier is rude & loses my mail often. The worst post office Ive been to, they dont have a phone number (the one listed is just a robot, good luck speaking to an actual human being) and when a package is too big, instead of looking for my apartment and delivering it to my door, they just give up and force me to waste $40 on uber to go pick it up at their office.

To put it nicely, Ive been on hold for half an hour - I didnt even think that was possible unless you were calling a 1-800 number. They have been sending back my mail even though Ive lived at the same address for 2 + months and have the my last name and the names of my roommates posted in the mailbox. Yet somehow Im only receiving others mail. Hooray incompetent people.
Ive never had more superior customer service than I have this week on NUMEROUS occasions. First off my daughter had to send me something from Flagstaff to Scottsdale that was EXTREAMLY important. She sent it priority since it would be delivered the next day as the locations are so close and she was given a tracking number. I had tracked it when it didnt appear the next day and noticed it had not been updated since she had given it to her post office on campus. I called to check if it had left and maybe hadnt been scanned and Molly who said shes been a carrier for 30 years and only in the building due to a broken arm made my missing envelope her priority. Turns out somehow Phoenixs machine scanned the return address and sent it back to Flagstaff and so she assured that it was on its way back to me. Fast forward to today (3 days later) Molly called me to see if I had gotten my package and if everything was ok since she didnt see a delivery scan,For those of you who have Molly as your normal Carrier Im very jealous! I wish more postal employees where as dedicated and kind as she was.everyone is so quick to complain about an age old system.... Molly brought light to my situation and made the lost documents feel a little less gut wrenching.Thank you Molly and hope your arm heals quickly!PS... Got the envelope today!!!

Today marks the 5th package lost by USPS here in Flagstaff, and Ive only lived here for 8 months. Often times its put in the wrong box and I get it a couple days later, but on a couple of occasions, the package was just never delivered. One time I got a nice woman on the phone that helped me, but every other time, phone calls have ended up in a complete disaster. I get other peoples mail in my box at least three or four times a month which I end up delivering to my neighbors. This branch of the USPS seriously needs to be audited...and maybe drug tests for the employees too. Ive lived all over this great country and have never witnessed a postal service this incompetent.
I have a parcel that was miss delivered and all that I received in regards to my claim was an email form letter taking about how packages sometimes get lost during processing. The package was scanned delivered and I have had no real information as to what happened.
My small business is about to go out of business because route carriers either fail to scan my mail the same day as they pickup (making it appear I shipped late so my seller accounts are throttled) or they just fail to pick up altogether. Check out the photo of the ridiculous amount of mail that they failed to pickup, so I had to drive it to the main office & stand there for over an hour while one of the sloths slooooowly scanned & weighed each package. No need to wonder why they closed out last year with Overall volume decline of 3.2 billion pieces & Net loss of $3.9 billionNeither the Post Master, Supervisors, Regional Manager, nor Consumer Affairs has put in any effort to help. I have lived all over the country. I have never had so many horrible experiences with a post office.I agree fully with other reviewers. There is a pattern of what sure looks like corruption and theft involved at all levels of this institution. Everyone makes mistakes and has bad days at work. It shouldnt serve as a business model, and thats exactly whats going on here.Packages and any correspondence that appears to contain payments seem to be the most coincidentally lost items. Notice left in box means no notice was ever left. How dare we expect mail to actually show up at the delivery address? The nerve of the public and their demands.
Laurinda was exceptionally helpful. They answered the phone, which in this day and age, deserves three stars in itself. She answered my question thoroughly and with competence. I have always had great service at this location. Sure, the lines can be long. But that is a lack of adequate funding, rather than any shortcoming of postal personnel.
I recently spent 20 min waiting here while two workers, one of which I never saw, moved like over fed sloth. Once it was my turn I requested some box tape to seal up my package. Attendant informed me they no longer provided that service but I was welcome to purchase an entire roll from a display located 30 away on the other side of the room. At this point I thanked him and left. Drove 2 min down the road and mailed my package off at the ups store that entire process took 3 min and I was greeted with a hello and left with a Good day, sir. Im ashamed to think an ounce of my tax dollars contribute to this dinosaur. I do not recommend using this service if your value your time, money, and peace of mind.

I have been attempting to get a new screen protector sent to me in the mail. However, I get home and see my mailbox brutefully stuffed and have found my item inside, destroyed, three times. Everything shouldnt have to say Fragile! Handle with care! In order for it to not be crammed and stuffed into a mailbox which it is too small to fit into. I have had 4 screen protectors sent to me, each destroyed by USPS and the company is no longer offering to send me a replacement because neither the company nor the product is at fault. It is the fault of the mailman shoving things into a mailbox because he doesnt want to get out of his car to place peoples parcels near their door.
This post office employs a thief.We took 3 boxes to this post office in order to make more room in our car on our drive back to Houston after the San Diego Comic Con.The boxes were filled with books, comics and various flyers we had collected and purchased at comic con.The boxes were purchased brand new at Walmart that day. They weighed 51#, 40# and 28#. They were supposed to arrive in Houston on August 3...we finally GOT them on August 9.My 3 pristine boxes looked as though they had been thrown down 50 flights of stairs. We opened the first 2 boxes. They were not packed the way we had packed them... autographed novels were actually folded in half in the middle of stacks of books. As full as the boxes were, for something to be folded in the middle of the box means they intentionally did that when repackaging my items. I am a bibliophile so this really upset me to see how they treated my books...but nothing compared to our 3rd box...We opened the 3rd box and it contained exactly 4 items...none of which belongs to any member of my family. There are 3 books. One is in Spanish, which I do not read or speak. One is a book on adultry, which neither me or my husband would ever have any use for. One was a New Testament only Bible, i have a shelf full of BOTH testament Bibles but this one is not mine. The 4th item is a Shalom magazine...i am not Jewish and have never seen this magazine tile in my life.Somebody at the Flagstaff post office STOLE every single comic book collected and purchased my my family over our 5 days at Comic Con. Then they stuck their 4 items in my box AND to add insult to injury they told us postage was DUE on the box from which they STOLE all our comics!Do not use this post office.Do not entrust this post office with your belongings.This post office STOLE our items from our box and replaced them with unwanted items.

Waited for our carrier to fill the mailboxes then expecting him to deliver our package that we paid dearly for next day air, the tracking info on-line said it was with him. He left without delivering it, no notice or nothing. I went down there the next day and thankfully it was there. Even though they give a refund if its not there in time. The carrier claimed that he was there and left a notice. The supervisor backed him up, basically claiming me a liar. Its not the refund so much as the it is the lying, all we need is another branch of government lying to us.

Hi; the digital survey did not allow me to note that my experience with the call center was fine. The survey kept asking the same question over and over, and saying it did not understand my numerical answer. I dont want to leave it in question: the human being who answered me from the call center did very well.
Letters were returned to sender even though my address was correct. Other times, letters were lost in the mail. I even delivered test mail to my address and it was never delivered. Dont trust this post office with mail. I have a feeling the people that work here are corrupt and theives. I am going to contact the higher authority for investigation since so many people have complained.
I have a po box at the postal Blvd location. I was out of the country for NYE, two weeks later I come back and have a yellow slip in my po box that there is something waiting for me at the counter. But they couldn’t find it, now I don’t know what was it, who was the sender and my package (?) is most likely gone. Stuff was unhelpful and not nice. I will be canceling my po box at this location. Maybe they stole my thing???

If this post office had to properly deliver items to save their own lives, Im not sure they would pull through. I had one package that they attempted to deliver to me but could not since I was not home, which is fine. However, I filed a request for redelivery and they did not make any further attempts to get the package to my residence. I only received the package after driving to the facility to request it. Further, they provided no explanation as to why it they did not make multiple attempts. Currently, I have one package marked as delivered on Saturday and it is now Tuesday evening; I am still without the package. There is another package that was expected to arrive last Thursday evening. It is almost a week later, I have not come into possession of it, and there is no word about its status despite being out for delivery since Saturday. Overall, this post office is very inefficient, and I hope others can avoid having to rely on their services.Update: I wish this could be zero. They really are the worst USPS Ive ever dealt with. I was expecting my diploma of all things, and rather than try to deliver it, they lie about attempting to. I was home for two days straight. The day it was expected I only found out that they did not try to deliver because the tracking on the website said that a notice was left since no one was home. Well, no notice was left and I went in person to complain to the manager the same day who said he would talk to the carrier and make sure it was delivered tomorrow. Surprise, not only was the package not delivered, but I received a notice finally that was dated 8.14.2014 when in reality, they left the notice on 8.15.2014. So rather than deliver my package, the carrier attempted to cover their tracks after falsifying documents. Please!!! If I have any relatives, friends, or colleagues that come across this, ship packages to me through UPS!!! I would say use Fedex, but they often pass along the package to USPS and then I am back in package hell. This really is a nightmare.

Wow. There is a reason why this place has 1.5 stars. This place is the absolute epitome of people who hate their job; the perfect hateful stereotypical Post Office worker. I went in due to the fact that a package was not delivered to my home due to No secure delivery location available. I go in and politely state why I am there, and the gentleman goes to look for my package. He returns a solid 5 minutes later, UH, I couldnt find it, you can go to the other computer and wait for someone to look it up. Which computer I ask He dumbly points down to the end of the line. So I go stand and wait, and he slaps some obnoxious paging button that I am assuming gets the attention of someone to help me. I stand there for a solid ten minutes with nobody around before finally asking another worker if anyone is going to help me, because I have to go back to work. The man I asked acted as if I just ruined his day, and after skulking over to where I was he goes What do you want So I re-explain my issue. Without even looking at me or saying another word, he slams the buzzer again and walks away. After another 5 minutes of standing there a middle-aged blonde woman comes out and acts just as inconvenienced when she speaks to me in the most abrupt of manners. She disappears and reappears saying Its in your mailbox, I just talked to him and he was just there Then why the hell am i here? I couldnt help but wonder. So i shook my head and walked away. Its no wonder people choose to send things via any other method. I would rather send my packages with a carrier pigeon than ever go to this office again!
They dont want to help you! No matter how politely you ask them, the fact that I ask simple questions on something I havent done before makes them roll their eyes and give a sarcastic tone. Especially if you have the pleasure of working with Joel. He omitted some instructions on how to prepare my package and gave wrong instructions. When i came back with another question, it was rude comments i was met with. Then finally, when the other teller helped me wrap everything up, the teller asked me why I filled out/pasted the slips the way I did. In response, I told her that Joel explicitly told me to do those things and he just raised his voice and said I told him not to tape that slip even when he said straight up to me these slips go on the outside of the package. I apologized to the other teller and she didnt even acknowledge it. In the 4 years ive been here, they have always been rude and even misplaced 7 packages of mine in 2016. These people dont understand basic customer service and it sucks that management wont do a thing about how awful their employees are. Be careful going here, they want to make you look and feel like an idiot.
THIS WOULD BE A NEGATIVE ZERO RATING IF I COULD!Today I was to have my Amazon Prime order delivered. I pay extra for the service as the auto parts that were purchased were for my repair set up Dec 19th at 8am. So I get notification from Amazon my two packages valued at $350.00 were delivered at my front door at 11:34am. Mind you, I have been sitting in my living room awaiting these packages since 9am. No knock, I never heard anyone come up my 3 flights of stairs (which you hear as the railings and stairs are wobbly and make loud noises) and guess what?? NO PACKAGES - THAT I PAID EXTRA TO BE DELIVERED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!! This is NOT the First, Second or Third time my packages have been missing and or stolen. I have also had packages delivered to my neighbors apartment before as well, thankfully that person was honest on 5 different occasions. I contacted Flagstaff Police and filed a theft police report that will be filed to the postal inspector at USPS, there is an ACTIVE police report open however I will not post that detailed info here. I am out my money as this was a 3rd party through Amazon and not shipped and sold through Amazon. this USPS location needs to learn how to hire HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY people because at this point I am considering filing a small claims case against them. Now I am unable to get my vehicle repaired Dec 19th and my travel to Phoenix Dec 20th puts my life in jeopardy without the repair done. In the past I have dealt with Larry who was great and Jessica who was not as friendly as well as an older Hispanic/Native American man who didnt seem to bothered by my items missing.

Didnt bother to go up to the door to drop the package off, so they left a Sorry We Missed You Slip in the mailbox. The post office sucks!
They are by far the laziest post office Ive ever dealt with. The people behind the counter are rude every time I go in, despite the fact that I only have to go in because the carriers are too lazy to knock on my door and just leave a slip telling me to pick up the parcels here.If you live around here try to use FedEx and UPS as much as possible.
Lost another one of our packages. This post office really needs to be inspector find the US postmaster.

Unfriendly staff, requiring extreme patience to remain civil. Its as if they strive to be sullen and unhelpful. In short, just awful customer service.

Awful, customer service didnt know how to answer a simple question. They have lost 3 pieces of my mail. I will now be using UPS/FedEx.
Terrible customer service it looks like employees hate their job cant even ask them question cuz they get mad they need to work on their attitudes.
The employee said the parcel will be delivered today and that he called the driver with the package, I go back home and there is no package and the package was getting sent back to the seller
