A good friend of mine hired them to fix a wood stove chimney. The owner showed up without a mask during pandemic. When asked to put one on he refused and told them there was different science about that. He also suggested they Google science. Very difficult and even continued to get closer to them as they talked. He was asked to leave the premises and another company was hired. I guess his politics mean more than customer satisfaction. Do not recommend!

I scheduled an appointment to have a gas line removed in October 2020. The owner of the company came and refused to wear a mask in my home. He looked through my door, told me the pandemic was not real, and gave me a quote of $200 to have the line removed by looking into my house from outside.I was not told that there would be a fee of $89 for someone to simply come over and provide a quote. I did not choose to go with the company because the owner, who would do the service, would refuse to wear a mask in my home while conducting the service (because he does not believe in the pandemic).I have no idea if they would do a good job or not, but their business practices are appalling. I have now paid their technical fee, but I would not recommend working with this company.I had my services completed by another company, where they agreed to wear masks, in my high-risk household.

Have had good customer service in the past and one of their service members arrived and walked in the door without a mask. I have a 2 week old newborn and I’m furious. You can believe your own fake science but when it comes to jeopardizing my family in my own house that’s when I draw the line. Seriously disrespectful.

The installation went well. Then the issues started. I kept getting blown off even though my carbon monoxide alarms kept going off and the fire department wouldnt allow me back into my house it was so bad. If they do come out to fix anything, theyll sell you a bunch of equipment that wont actually fix the problem then blow you off again. This is a terrible company.

These guys are just the best! Installed the gas fireplace, it is yet to be framed in and the wall put up. It’s is awesome to have a gas fireplace again, so cozy and easy! Plus they are reasonably priced and really nice people! A bonus is when they bring a sandwich for the dog! Can’t go wrong with them!

Almost positive they told me 20% off and my neighbor said the same thing. They came to do my chimney Then told me $20 off. Only a difference of 10 bucks and they would not honor the difference. Either way $130 for literally a 20 minute job using a broom and vacuum. I pay less than that for a 3 hr detail on my truck! What a business...

Terrible customer service - actually no service at all! We made an appointment for them to clean our chimneys more than 3 weeks ago. The day before we called to confirm the appointment as we were driving up from Phoenix. Day of the SCHEDULED appointment we received a call from service man that he was running an hour behind. Appointment was between 2-4. He never showed, no call & no answer at the office.Day 2- we called the office to find out what happened, lady said we had to call the service man. Called him & left a message. Around 2 pm when we hadn’t heard anything we again called the office & the lady said we were on the list she would call him to find out what happened & call us back. She never did. We won’t use this company & do not recommend to anyone!

Roof Dancers is the best chimney sweep and wood stove company in Flagstaff, maybe even the entire area. Dave and his crew installed a new gas stove insert into our current fireplace area and not only does it look great, it fits seamlessly and looks like the house will built with it in from the beginning.Thank You David and Roof Dancers... Fantastic price on an amazing stove. David and his crew did a safe and beautiful job on the install too. I have small children, they showed me a stove that heats evenly but does not get dangerously hot to the touch and it is so beautiful. They helped me with everything. It was so easy and affordable. The stove has been in use in my home for over 10 years and still performs perfectly. Its a Hearthstone with soapstone/cast iron body. It gets super warm but never too hot and if you touch it by accident your skin does not see burn instantly like with most stoves. I so recommend these people and their shop to anyone.

Great people they do a awesome job!

Arranged for an entire stove, pipe, and chimney replacement. Received a healthily discounted price as advertised on the radio. Products are top notch. Installers were prompt, polite, and efficient. One minor miscue on the interior stove pipe finish was immediately resolved by the owner Dave driving an hour each way to personally make the adjustment on the same day we called. Pam was very helpful and efficient in scheduling and communications.

We already had a stove and needed it installed so we called roof dancers. David showed up on time with all needed materials to complete the job within a couple hours. Five years later the installation was tested with a chimney fire. the installation performed flawlessly and zero damage was done. I now recommend them twice a year for sweeping and inspection!!! Top notch! You dont last long in Flagstaff if you dont perform top notch work.

My ability to get an appointment with them in the Fall at last minute (having just moved into a house), and the technician Levi was great. He was not just knowledgeable, but talked with me about the issues not at me (this is pretty important to me as an individual and a customer). Thank you. Roof Dancers technician Levi did a great job. We are renting and the house has an older dryer. Had an appliance company out and no problem with dryer, but vent was clogged. Levi was on the roof and in the laundry room and removed a lot of debris! Very scary as that is a serious fire hazard! Thank you Roof Dancers, Inc.

Never again.... had an appointment for almost a month, but the owner, David, blew me off since he assumed (and you know what that means) that my dryer vent was on the roof. And its not. Luckily, I got hold of Pam in the office... and he did come later in the day. He charged me $20 more than I had been quoted (I did not pay that price) and then tried to sell me some bible game (in which I have no interest at all)... and wouldnt take no for an answer. Ive had other techs from this company who were great, but David was a total (fill in the blank).... Pam made it right and I paid the estimated amount, not the inflated price. Wont use them ever again.

David and his team are superb at their work. They have installed, removed, and cleaned for me many times over the years. I highly recommend Roof Dancers!

I received poor service from all three local fireplace folks when trying to install an insert in my inefficient fireplace. Wizards was great in the store, but called me sweetheart several times when in my house with me alone AND refused to measure and told me he has been doing this so long he just knows (I dont care--measure to appease the customer); Flag Hearth and Home sent me an estimate but then I called with questions and came in to see units and they didnt followup to both a note and two phone calls. Wizards I felt like was upselling me the first time I met with them. But then they had a radio promo and when I met with them again they were much more balanced, describing the pros and cons of going bigger/more expensive or smaller/less expensive. Once I selected them, they really werent so pushy. They were communicative, let me pay in two batches a couple days apart, and completed the install on time and still works well a couple years later. They even offered to and came by a couple weeks after the install to make sure I was figuring out the technique for making the fires since its a little different than open fires. They literally hung out with me for about 30 minutes while we made a fire and moderated the smoke and stuff.They made a couple mistakes during install, both of which they fixed and didnt charge me. One was putting some grooves into the stones of my hearth area, which as soon as I called them they came the next day and sanded them out so they were barely noticeable. The second thing was a little bigger. They told me my fireplace could take a bigger unit and it would just require cutting some of the stone of the fireplace in the back. But then they got in there, unit purchased for me and everything, and they had to cut out some of the rock in several places, not just the back. I wish I hadnt been home. It was loud, dusty and shook the house. But I am glad I was home because they told me the dust wouldnt be that bad but after about 15 minutes I closed my air vents and put sheets up in the door ways to block the dust spreading. I hadnt moved things out of the room completely and put away books and other things so after the whole project I had to hire someone to help me wipe down everything. We literally swiffered the walls. Thank goodness I had moved the furniture out for other reasons. So they took longer to do the cutting, but the best part was that they didnt charge me more than they had quotes because they honestly told me they didnt anticipate that challenge and that they would absorb the cost. So, overall I am satisfied with their work even if it was a bit of a charlie foxtrot at times and I had to do an overhaul cleaning of that room.

Terrible. Over priced and petty. I do not like the products they used to duct the stove. They did not use smooth ducting, they used corrugated and they use the cheapest stuff out there. Consumer prices are cheaper than what they sell it to you for. I believe they use corrugated duct so they have to come and clean out your chimney. More $$$ for them. I asked them also for a specific style cap. The one they used was UGLY and did not fit the style of the house. I removed it and returned the item to them for a refund. They did that. Then a year later they want $32 from me for some stupid part that I did not return. I told them to go fly a kite. You have enough of my money and wasted enough of my time. I do not recommend these guys at all. Customer service sucks too. Look around. There are others. Look in Sedona too.

We recently purchased a home in Flagstaff with an inefficient pocket fireplace. We knew that we wanted to install a wood burning stove so we contacted Roof Dancers. Kathryn, David and the entire crew at Roof Dancers were extremely helpful in sizing and choosing the right stove for our home. David even helped us design and install our raised hearth so that it looks like the house was originally built with it! We purchased a fan kit for the stove which we had a noise issue with and Dave suggested that we swap it out without us even asking! The noise is gone and we love our stove! These folks came down to our home in the Verde Valley and replaced the chimney on our 40 year old Vermont Castings Defiant stove and made it like new. Quite a job considering the 14 foot ceiling.
