I’ve been living here for a few months now and I really like living here to the point that after my roommate and I lease is up, I’ll probably have my boyfriend and sign a lease here when we move into together. The location is the best part of this place! So close to restaurants, grocery store, etc. and close to the beltline. The apartment itself is nice too. We are on the top floor with cathedral ceilings. The kitchen is updated and has a nice breakfast bar. The staff is so nice and friendly ! They always answer my questions and if you call about a maintenance issue they are quick to get it done! The Pool is a bit small and can get crowded on weekends. It’s also a slightly older complex so nothing crazy modern about this place (built in 2002 I believe?) But if you want a nice, basic but updated apartment for a decent price with a great location, then I’d suggest living here!

I wanted to recommend this place, but I just cant. The staff turnover is exceedingly high. I have had 19 tickets put in with most of them being issues that should have been resolved before they are allowed to rent.Almost all of my kitchen appliances have needed to be replaced, my windows leak badly, my exterior doors are not set straight and allow bugs in, and every turn in my place has a new crack developing in the wall.When I mention these, they come out and do a quick fix repair. For example, they just filled the cracks. Didnt paint them, just filled them. They are still growing in size, and at this point, I am more interested in seeing how long they will do this. Im literally waiting for the front of my apartment to fall off just so the office will realize there is an issue.As of now, we are on our 4th manager since last year. This is also sounding like it will change.21MAY19Added photos of the cracks that keep coming back. I also added a picture of the gasket job the maintenance personnel did. Yes, that is literally a piece of cardboard they put in there because they cut it wrong.

The Landmark at Hatchery Hill is one of the most beautiful properties Ive ever seen! The location is a great place to find local eateries and shopping; as well as the great amenities that The Landmark offers. The staff are very professional and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. Whenever I speak to others who are looking for a safe and caring place to rent then I will tell them to check out The Landmark.

The Property Manager at The Landmark was wonderful. While I being new to the area, she was able to give me a ton of information and made me feel like I was welcomed. She was professional and friendly. I am so happy I was able to stop in for a tour. It is definitely top on my list.

We have lived here for two years. Office staff is friendly and attentive. When I was sick, with the flu they even delivered packages to my door. We have had to use the 24 hour hotline when our pet sitter got locked out. They were great and responsive in a pinch. Maintenance has always been quick. Would definitely recommend. Proximity to Great Dane is a huge plus.

I have lived at The Landmark for two years in two different apartments. I have never heard music or other loud noises from any of my neighbors. This is a very pet friendly community. If you are walking your dog you will meet lots of friendly furry residents and their humans! There are several doggie waste stations so cleaning up is a snap! We are directly across from The Great Dane (love drinks on their patio and then I can just walk across the street and I’m home!) there is Pick and save in the same parking lot. Not to mention tons of other stores and restaurants. I love being a part of this community, I love calling Landmark Home!

The Landmark is one of the cleanest properties in the Fitchburg area! When you walk in you are met by a clean entrance and a property manager that stands to greet you! She offered property information with the up most professionalization and friendliness. The amenities are just as great with a fitness center, pool, community room, underground parking and large open floor plans to meet the needs of anyone looking. I would recommend checking out The Landmark!

Hard to leave a review. Loved a lot and hated a lot. Having to go into the office for packages is nice because no one can take them, but you also cant get your own mail if the office is closed. The property manager is super friendly and so are the rest of the staff. However, it feels like theyre never in the office when you need them and sometimes calls arent returned. The location is awesome because of how close it is to restaurants and a grocery store. But some of the tenants are kinda rude. Definitely could be better, but its not bad at all.

Edit: revised my review after living here longer. Location still great, however communication with the management is difficult. Almost always goes to voicemail when calling. They also failed to communicate that applications had arrived on my unit, nor did they notify me when they had signed a new lease on my apartment. Probably standard for leasing companies in 2020, but I wanted to note itWhile I knew it was available for new tenants to lease, I am disappointed that they failed to communicate with meFriendly staff that communicates well.great price, quality and location

I would just like to give a shout out for Natalie who works so hard keeping the exercise room clean. I realize that she is responsible for cleaning other areas as well, but since we are users of the exercise room, we are especially appreciative of her diligence there. She is very thorough and efficient in her work and considerately works around any users of the equipment while she works.

Everyone at the office is very nice and all maintenance tickets are answered the next day. They even came immediately when I put a ticket in because I dropped my necklace down a drain!! I was so grateful. It’s nice living near the pick n save as well.

Pros: Underground parking and outside parking, no extra fee for parking for guests. Very very quiet, sometimes I think Im the only one living here! The animals dont bother me at all, everyone cleans up after their pets outside and the hallways and elevators are very clean and smell fine. My apartment is very up to date and everything was very clean when I moved in. I have a nice patio off of my living room. There is a decent sized work-out room in the main building. If I ever have any maintenance problems (like when I broke the blinds) they are very quick to solve the problem. The neighborhood is very nice, pretty quiet and I feel very safe. Its about a 10 minute drive into downtown Madison.Cons: My apartment is relatively small and there is a burn on my counter-top that was there when I moved in. They said that the counter would be replaced soon, but it still hasnt been. The parking spaces are very small and the storage units arent matched up with parking spaces so half the time you cant get into your storage unit because a car is parked in front of it. The price is high, but I think it is pretty typical of a single bedroom apartment in the Madison area. The Great Dane is across the street and can sometimes get a little rowdy late at night.Overall, I would recommend The Landmark.

We have lived at The Landmark since April, 2015 and love our place! Our apartment is considered a one bedroom plus den but the den is large enough to use as a second bedroom. We were concerned about the noise from the Great Dane, but it has never been an issue. We love that we can walk to get groceries and to grab food and a beer. The property manager, Norma, is extremely helpful! The maintenance men always come and fix things right away when needed. Its a safe and quiet area. People are often out walking their dogs and its right on the bike path. This is a great place to live!!

I would recommend The Landmark to anyone, especially pet owners. It is quiet and remarkably well-maintained inside and out, and I receive almost instant attention to any apartment issues. The current property manager and maintenance man go out of their way to give good service. My apartment is very comfortable and meets my needs as a “senior citizen” though my age group is in the minority.

This place is pure trash. It looks nice and the price tries to prove otherwise but so many things have gone wrong with this place! So many things have broken and we havent even been here that long. This place is unbelievable and the management is trash. Save your time and money and find somewhere else! Thank god I got people in law looking over the lease

We moved here in September and absolutely love it. Our neighbors are friendly, the staff is helpful and the facility is nice. Our apartment is up to date and nice. We have access to a 24 hour gym and pool in the summer. Its right across the street from pick n save. its right across the street from tasty restaurants like the Great Dane, Panera and SOHO. Its also super close the the Capital City Bike trail which is great for biking or cross country skiing.

This apartment complex has gone downhill since the prior manager left. We have waited several months to see if it would improve... Steady decline :(UPDATE:.....as of 3.23.2017......We have begun to enjoy the complex once more. The office is under new management and has made efforts to be more helpful. Maintenance is handled in a timely manner and the new staff is friendly.

We had an immediate response from Melissa when we called and were able to see the fully furnished apartment within the hour!! Melissa was so informative, happy, kind and knowledgeable about the rental. We saw two places and my husband liked the couch and table in one condo and Melissa had the furniture moved to the apartment he really liked.... you rarely find such efficiency!!! We found several places to rent in the area but decided we wanted to live where we could enjoy such a great property manager like Melissa. My husband and I came in to sign, get keys and garage clicker and Lizette finished helping us because Melissa had to go to another property... no problem. Lizette showed us an inventory list to go thru and noticed we had no ice trays, 4 glasses and I had asked for a vegetable peeler..... the next day they brought us all of the above and not just a 4th glass but a whole new set!!! We are so impressed with how clean, quiet and professional these ladies are. I had a slight problem the first night with the internet and in a half hour I had maintenance at the door and switched up our modem and got it working. We are so Avery happy here!! We’re going on 3 years of living here and I can only speak positive things! They are sooooo responsive to any maintenance request we’ve ever had, and fixed any issue within 24hrs. They go above and beyond any other appartment complex I’ve lived in. From vacuuming the hallways weekly, air fresheners around every corner to polishing the stainless steel in the elevators. I will recommend The Landmark highly to anyone, it doesn’t hurt that I can walk across the street for dinner at The Dane or grab groceries at Pick N Save and be back in minutes. Thanks for all you do to make sure this is an inviting and welcoming place to call home.
