When I had a bad flight and crashed my drone into a tree, I was dreading the process of shipping it to DJI and not having a drone for a couple of weeks. I did a google search for “Indy drone repair” and I was so happy that I found Daniel. I dropped off my drone at his office on Sunday evening, received a diagnostic on Wednesday, and it was ready to go by Friday. I took it for a test flight the next day and it worked great. With so many drone pilots in Indy, it’s nice to have a local repair shop. Thanks for getting my drone back to me so quickly!

Crashed drone wouldn’t fly or show video signal. I spent an entire year jumping between manufacturers and companies, but felt like they were never aware I was even a customer. I then came across Daniel at Smirnovs, who diagnosed, fixed and shipped back the drone in excellent working condition in less than a week. I dropped the computer off Wednesday afternoon. There was only one person in a very small office with no visible diagnostic equipment there, but I assumed at the time they had a bigger office somewhere else. He said they would get in touch with me between 2 to 4 days. I heard nothing by Sunday, so I called and said I would pick it up and just buy the parts and do the work myself. All the person said when I got there was there is your PC; he didnt say they had done anything with it at all and I wasnt about to ask because I wasnt in the mood for any debates. At least they didnt attempt to charge me, which would have triggered an argument since I wasnt about to give them any money. So, at least based on my experience, if you need a computer repair job done in a hurry, go somewhere else.I dropped the PC off Wednesday at 1300. I picked it up Sunday at 1500. That is over four days. All it would have taken is an email by noon Sunday giving me an idea when you would look at it. If you had checked it out and assuming you knew what you were doing, you would have discovered it was a faulty power supply. So, either you didn’t have the time for basic customer service like email or you did not discover the bad power supply. Either way, you blew this one.

I have a phantom DJI 4 that I had sent to a drone repair DJI authorized repair shop in Utah and after a month they said parts may be delayed war and an additional $300 for repairs and it could be more after that I asked them to return my drone and they returned it disassembled and missing parts . I was lucky to find this repair shop and Im so happy I found they repaired my drone in short time and reasonable price answered all questions and could always be reached and kept me informed. Great service great people and a lot of drone knowledge. Great technicians and great repair experience I fully recommend them to anyone for drone repair.

Daniel repaired my Mavik Pro after it crashed into a tree (obstacle avoidance less helpful when it is tracking you and orbiting apparently). He quickly diagnosed the issue (broken cable for controlling camera gimble) and as soon as he got the replacement part was in he completed the repair in days. Great communication through the process. Cost of the repair less than I expected. I would highly recommend Daniel to anyone needing drone repair or any other technology needs.

I crashed my DJI Phantom 3 the first day I had it, the compass connector needed to be resoldered onto the logic board. I went in for a free consultation early Monday morning and had the drone back Thursday afternoon. Other repair shops wanted me to ship off my drone and I wouldnt get it back for weeks. Through this repair shop, I had it back in 4 days. Other methods and shops may be cheaper, but none of them can get the product back to you as fast as this one. Very professional, and the drone is back to looking even better than it did when I brought it in.

I contacted Daniel about a last minute drone repair. It took a while to get a response, but he was able to fit me in. I needed a new casing and new motors installed. He accomodated me well enough and finished within four hours at what I thought was a reasonable price.Well, it turns out this was a big mistake. I picked up the drone at 10pm due to having a need to film around 2am. I wasnt able to fly that night, and ended up trying to test it the following morning. I ended with an ESC error which caused me to not be able to fly. I dont think Daniel even tested the drone to make sure it was functional before giving me the a-ok to come get it.So, I drive back to his establishment and he asks me to drop it off so he can work on it. Im okay with that, hell ship it to me due to me living three hours south.Fast forward a week. I contacted him twice during that time and got very little responses, and very delayed responses. He ended up saying that he cannot fix the ESC error and would need to refer me to a circuitry repair company. Why should I need to pay someone else to fix something that HE broke when I dropped it off in working condition? We both decided to just ship it back to me.Finally after a few days, I get a tracking number! The drone arrived today, scuffed and worn..The best part is..it now doesnt even turn on!!!I ended up just buying a brand new drone.I would not recommend anyone use this person.I will give him this, he refunded me half the price of the repair.

I had a very good experience. Daniel told me it was a free diagnostic and would take 3-4 days. He called me back after 3 days and gave me a couple of solutions and estimates for my problem with my iPad. I will use them again.
