Course is in good shape and well maintained. Problem for us was the pro shop allowed a fivesome out in front of us and caveated that there was another lady who “just gonna hit a few balls” and another lady who was only riding. Well, we played behind a sevensome all day. Probably won’t come back since the pro shop is trying to turn River Glen into Sahm. Pictured is the group in front of us.

Good quality course. Watch out the greens, they are fast and hard to read. Bunkers are getting dirty and hard, but they seem to have been working on some of them though.

Unfortunate experience. As I was leaving after a fun night swimming with my children at their pool I noticed a man walking toward the young lifeguards that were cleaning up at the end of their shift. He was extremely angry, was yelling profanities at them. He even got right in their faces screaming. It looked and sounded as if he was intoxicated. Never have I felt so bad for those young kids. Unfortunately, I recognized who it was since Ive been visiting River Glen for years. It looks like it may be time for a new general manager there.

Joined this club a month ago and I love playing an early am round. I’d like to see a few more amenities but it’s well worth the price. The course always offers a challenge and my wife and 3 year old enjoy the pool. I’d love to be able to invite the wife out after golf and have dinner but I’m a little spoiled by my last membership at Woodhaven Country Club in Louisville KY. Perhaps a golf simulator or two would be nice in the winter and a few more social events. All in all the value is awesome and the staff has been superb!

Good track, fun layout, but must get a lot of play. Greens were littered with unrepaired ball marks and scuffs so if you prefer smooth surfaces youll have to take your time and fix a lot.

Nice layout. No sand for divots on carts and par 3 buckets empty. Ball marks a plenty on greens. Pace of play horrendous. 5 hours on a Tuesday afternoon. Stay in clubhouse and have a cocktail instead. Management could use some help also.

Im not sure how they justify $65 to play here. Greens tee boxes and fairways are all TRASH. There is no way I will ever come back to this place at the rate they are charging.

River Glen allowed us to have the wedding that I always dreamed of. The staff was incredibly helpful and assisted us in making decisions beyond those that pertained to the venue. The vendor recommendations they offered, specifically Indy Anas for catering, were all 5 star and super easy to schedule with given their close relationship with River Glen. The venue is not only affordable, but well worth the cost given how much effort the staff puts toward making the day go off without a hitch. I am so grateful that we had our wedding here.

Nice course, well kept but avg. layout. Two of the longest rounds of my life. No Marshall. The foursome in front of us consisted of four rather large older women. They were slow and did not play ready golf. There were two groups waiting on tee box behind them at every hole. Nothing turns off a golfer like five hour plus rounds. I’m done and will never return. I would have given zero stars if I could.

Play this course all the time and love it. What I love even more is how much attention the owner is putting into the course - as they have improved many holes, brought in new challenges and eliminated all drainage issues. This is a top notch course with great staff across the board. Mentions of slow play has never been an issue for me and I play there a ton....obviously, holidays will drive a slow round (not the courses fault. Love it!!!

Great course. It was in good condition, and I enjoyed the layout. Both the golf course and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was also a positive. We had a foursome and played in just under 4 hours. Ill definitely be back!

If your thing is playing golf. This is a beautiful course. If you like sitting by the pool and relaxing this is a great place as well. And not to mention the food is incredible. Dont miss out on this unique space in Fishers.

I had a great round of golf this past weekend. The course is well maintained. There was enough room to hit the driving range prior to teeing off. Cant wait to go back!

Good conditions and layout so it gets two stars, but they get greedy and schedule way too many tee times. There have been 4 groups on the same tee box both times I’ve played it. Tee times should be booked 10 min apart not 5. On pace for a 3 hr 9. Not an enjoyable experience.

I have played River Glen for years and have always enjoyed it. They’ve invested significant resources the last few years to increase the complexity of the layout and improve the drainage around areas that previously held water. If it’s been a few years since you’ve played here, it’s time to come back. Golf is in high demand right now as it’s one of the few recreation activities that has remained open with social distancing and stay at home orders that have been in place. So, courses are seeing more rounds than previous years. Despite all this, RG is incredibly well-maintained and the pace is on par to what you’ll find at any other comparable course in the area right now.

The course was in pristine condition. The course is a true hidden gem being located in Fishers. If you have the chance to play this course I would highly recommend it!

The way this course is ran is absolutely terrible. It was a 6 hour round on a Thursday afternoon starting at 2 pm. They load people in the back nine when people are making the turn and don’t have tee time spaced out at all. I would not recommend playing here unless your goal is be out there for 6 hours.

Great course at a reasonable price. They have nice practice facilities and the course is in really good shape. On Fridays, they have awesome burger/hot dog/beer deals - worth going just for that!

I am so happy with the way my reception went! I met with them a couple of times before the wedding to nail down details, and they were so accommodating. Stephanie was amazing, she was so nice to work with and I felt like she would provide literally anything I asked for! We hardly had to worry about anything the day of. They set it all up and took it all down (minus the decorations we brought ourselves-centerpieces, signs, some head table decor, and games/coloring pages). I felt absolutely no stress about the reception. They gave us two golf carts (and a guide) so we could go out onto the course and take pictures. I told them the catering I wanted with Indy Annas and they arranged it all. Some things were changed last minute, but I just emailed them and they were totally okay with it and very flexible! I highly recommend River Glen to anyone who wants to feel secure knowing that everything will be taken care of for your event! (If you email them, they will send you a wedding packet that has every detail you could want-including all the pricing and food options)

Great golf course. Staff could not have been nicer. It is in great condition and one you should play in Indianapolis area. Friday was $1.00 beers and brats.

I have signed for River Glenn pool this summer. They keep water clean but their hours are terrible. On google search they post 7am-9pm everyday which is not true. The pool stays open on Tuesdays and Thursdays till only 6pm. It’s summer! I work till 5pm and would like to take my kids to the pool after work but not on those days. I’m not sure who came up with these hours but in my opinion it should stay open till late everyday. That’s why we signed up for the pool so kids can use it everyday for couple of hours after I’m done with work!!! Seems like they are accommodating stay at home moms. You don’t close the golf course at 6pm, right?

Absolutely loved every single thing about this venue! We used it for our ceremony and the reception. The view during the ceremony was beautiful and the reception room was the perfect size. Stephanie was so fun to work with! Shes very personal and flexible. I could tell during the whole process that she really cared, and wasnt just trying to make money. Burnadette was so great during the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. She kept everyone on track for walking down the isle and then kept everything running smoothly all night. Reasonably priced, especially considering everything that is included. I definitely recommend River Glen!

Not worth $65 thats for sure. Tee boxes were dirt and a mess. Couldnt find a piece of grass to tee it up on. Fringes on the greens had crab grass all around. Greens had disease. But the amount of crabgrass on The Fringe of The Greens was incredible.. I paid $30 for better courses.

Course is in very good shape, and is challenging but fun to play. Some improvements underway should make it even nicer for a public course.

Cant say enough great things about this place! The practice facilities are sprawling. The staff is very cordial and knowledgeable. The banquet facility offers and amazing view. The course is beautiful and very well maintained. The Red Tail Tavern is a great place to enjoy a post round cocktail. Best bang for the buck!

Went here for first time and played 9 holes. I had a lot of fun! The course was in excellent condition and definitely worth the price. I will definitely be coming back to play 18 as soon as I can.

Course was in poor shape

Timing is everything with this course. Really nice course, but due to rain every other day cart path only. High grass on rough. They are working on mowing but today was brutal!! Will play again but when its dry!! Club should offer towels when course is soooooo muddy!

Very nice, challenging course which was in great shape. Reasonable rates for a weekend, but it was a bit slow. Ranger got involved and eventually the slow group let people play through.

October - If there was issues with the course conditions during the dry weather like Ray May suggested theyre all but gone now. Course is in really good shape. Just the right amount of hills and water if you ask me. Good price too! Id give it 5 stars except there is a certain air about this place that makes it unwelcoming. Something I wouldnt expect at a public course. Ive met very friendly players here before and enjoy thier company but more than a few of the regulars dont care to give you the time of day. I think that rubbed off on the staff and they arent as helpful as youd expect.

Below average course condition. Bunch of thieves, too. We went to the clubhouse after a group event. My wife left her very expensive sun glasses at the clubhouse bar. We called 10 minutes after leaving and spoke to bartender - they said they didnt have them and would ask around. We know we left them right in front of the bartender. Avoid this place.
