This is an amazing, trustworthy airporter/shuttle company. They are reliable, courteous of all their customers and you can feel safe riding with them. The ride was relaxing, I got to choose where I wanted to sit and I arrived at my destination safely. All of the staff, including customer service are smart and kind.
I was the transportation coordinator for the Brothers In Arms Foundation who brought the 49 Marines from Camp Pendelton to Bellingham.Every single person from Bellair Charters was exceptional, both in their service and their compassion for our mission to honor Lance Corporal Jack-Ryan Ostrovsky. Before we had even completed the payment we were assured that a bus would be waiting at the airport. The bus was very comfortable, and the driver was so kind and professional, I wished he stood next to us at the services to see why he went to work that day and the good he was doing for others.I hope the employees get to read this, because I want them to know how much it meant to the family and the community to see those Marines arrive and honor that young Marine.Semper Fi
I have used this service about 5 times and have always been pleasantly surprised with how courteous and professional the drivers are. Matthew was especially courteous as he made a stop at a rest area for my 5- year old. I appreciate the friendly accommodating excellent drivers of bel air.
Bellair Shuttles is not Covid compliant. They allow passengers to make up their own minds about wearing masks. On the shuttle I was on, the passengers refused and the company backed their behavior, refusing to adhere to state policy on mask wearing inside the bus. Even though their website says masks are required--they are not! UPDATE after owner response: There were 2 other people on my shuttle from 11-1:30am. They refused to wear masks. They said they had been wearing them for the last 18 hours and then that they were eating (they were not). Who knows what other dangerous behaviors these people engaged in on their travels? The driver refused to ask them to put on face coverings. The shuttles are small and there is no ventilation. Therefore, not Covid compliant. When I complained to the company, they said that Because of the wide spectrum of opinions on COVID, which has been very uncharted waters for our company to negotiate, we will not put our drivers in a position to police a situation like you described. We respect that our guests are able to make their own decisions.---ie: they do not follow the governors mandate and are actually backing the folks not wearing masks. (Im very sure they would have been happy to police me if I had lit up a cigarette or engaged in my own dangerous behavior onboard). I had every right to expect fellow passengers to be masked as they state the governors mandate on their website. If you care about people masking up to keep themselves and you safe, Bellair Airporter Shuttle is not the place.
I have used Airporter many times and have watched them grow into a much needed company! I highly recommend using this nice clean very reasonably priced service. We use them to fly out of SeaTac and they save you a fortune by not having to pay for parking lot fees. Sure beats the heck out of driving through the nightmarish traffic too!
I’ve been riding the airporter occasionally for the past 15 years or so. They are a trustworthy reliable transportation company. This morning I am so grateful for their excellent customer service. Thank you for going slightly out of the way so I didn’t miss the bus. Had to run the last mile from home, but I made it :)
Ive taken shuttle many times before. I arrived at 4:30am as told to be no later than 4:40. Driver sitting at desk but doesnt look up and a bus sitting out front so I assume all good. Departure should be 4:50. At 5:00 asked driver and he said he didnt know as my bus coming from North. So I call reservations and they check dispatch and bus broken down 40 minutes away. So just after my call they send text alert to everyone at station. I could wait for the shuttle and if they are only 40 minutes late and dont get hung up in traffic Ill still make it but cant take the risk. We hop in my car, refuel and now driving 1.5 hours to airport through Friday morning commuter traffic. Hopefully well make my flight. If Id been told 40 minutes before when they knew there was a breakdown Id be in much better shape and I might trust that theyd actually meet new timeline and Id wait. Now my husband has 4 hours of driving instead ofdropping me at shuttle. I suppose breakdowns happen but the lack of notification is inexcusable and Ive no reason to trust them again.
Best and cleanest bus line I have ever had the pleasure to ride on!!! And the drivers were nice and helpful! 5 🌟!!!😁
They charged a processing fee for a bus trip that they themselves cancelled due to COVID-19. Cancellations/delays are totally understandable with the current situation and wanting to keep people healthy, but the processing fee is not.Update: The business replied and offered a number to call to fix the problem, while also addressing the concern of needing a policy to allow lenience with cancellation fees during this period of time. I know one other person who got charged the same fee, who was caught in the first wave of delays and also chose to cancel. Its my hope that they take a look back at cancellations from mid/late March onward to make sure fees werent mistakenly charged for anyone else too. Score has been bumped up to 3 stars.Since Im updating the review, Ill go ahead and add a bit about the service too. The drivers are friendly and professional, even early morning and late night. The buses are timely, which is a big plus if youre on a tight schedule. I cant recall ever departing late. Make sure to come to a little early though, since they do arrive earlier than scheduled on occasion, and that helps get your choice of seats. Ill also give them credit for taking extra precautions due to COVID-19.On the downside, its a bit expensive for Bellingham-Seattle round trips. Its usually cheaper and quicker to just drive if youre not catching a flight, though theres still convenience in taking a bus. Theres also at least one much cheaper bus service that runs between Bellingham and Seattle but with limited options. Customer service has been fairly average over the years, with some experiences being positive, and others more mixed.Bellair has trips throughout the morning, day, and night that take you directly to SeaTac Airport, so theres a lot of scheduling flexibility thats especially convenient for round trip flights, while also saving on overnight parking fees. So if youre flying, theyre a good choice. If youre not, then its worth considering other options.
The driver was so polite and even funny for 2am!! He gave clear instructions and was super helpful! So happy with my first trip with Bellair!! Will be using this service again and again!
So I applied to this location 14 months ago in response to an online ad for a dispatcher... Just got an email today saying the typical thank you, no thank you response for not being selected as an employee... I would not charter a trip with them for fear of them contacting me 6 months after the bus departs, to tell me its booked. HA! *Awesome business practice.
I just sent my son off after Military leave. Because I could not be there for the send off.....ya, lol Navy Mom calls and asks if shuttle driver can just give a hand shake of Thank you for your service...or even a hug. Of Course she said and was all over it. HOORAH to this company. Thank you again from a Military Mom.
Had my first experience on the Airporter on the 2:30 from SeaTac to Bellingham. Our driver was from Eastern Europe (I think) and was friendly and a great driver. Traffic was typical for a tourist season weekday afternoon (it sucked) but we still made good time and our driver let us know our new eta’s with every stop. The $40 I paid was well worth it and I will be using them again
I DO NOT RECOMMEND/WILL NEVER TRAVEL WITHI had to call back three times . Their phone operators attitudes span from helpful to downright disrespectful. I was disconnected twice and and given wrong information on every call. When I called back and finally got through the shuttle was sold out. When I tried to ask for a manger, I was on hold for 10 minutes and grilled by the operator for my reason to speak with the manager. No thanks!
Wow! Exceptional service. I miscalculated the time of the trip and when my flight was scheduled leave Paine Field. My bad. The Bellair driver made every effort to get me there and helped me rush in with my bags. I made the flight, gave her a big hug and tip.
I have used them many times in the last few years with no complaints at all. More stops at the convention center would be great but still enjoy the excellence service these folks provide.
I was driving in Anacortes today at about 3:30 pm. I was sitting in the middle lane waiting to make a left turn onto a side street. A driver from this company was traveling the opposite direction and apparently decided he wanted to be in the median before his turning lane began in one block. He acted as if he was going to hit me head on, honked for over 10 seconds and made rude gestures. I am 100% positive he was is in the wrong, but even if he wasnt his aggressive and unsafe driving was enough for me to not use this company again or recommend it.
I interviewed for a job with this company IN RESPONSE TO A JOB POSTING for which I was more than qualified, and spent time and effort on my resume, cover letter and interview. In response, I received a curt, generic reply that I may be contacted later, basically once they got their act together. After several days, I see that they posted the job AGAIN, with much LOWER PAY. Still no professional response by the company for my efforts. This is clearly BAIT AND SWITCH, and complete disrespect from a professional looking for legitimate work. PLEASE DONT SUPPORT COMPANIES LIKE THIS.
I love this shuttle! Besides getting me to my 0810 flight from Sea-Tac on time, I left my purse on the shuttle in my morning fog (no coffee yet). When I got to the security line and realized I did not have my purse with me, I thought oh no, and tried to call the shuttle office to see if there was any way they could contact the driver. I neednt have worried. Before anyone could even answer I went outside and there was the shuttle and my driver waiting for me on the curb with my purse. He had gone to the other terminal, dropped everyone off, and returned to where he had dropped me off in the hopes I would come out. Big hug, I thanked him profusely and later realized I hadnt even left him a tip, so I hope this reviews makes up for it. I went on to see the solar eclipse and am a better woman for it. Thanks, Bellair Shuttle!
They have always been reliable for me. Ive used the shuttle for 8 years regularly from SEATAC to I-5 north and I have never had any problems. Friendly drivers, upgraded buses, good interior lighting and clean upholstery, and plenty of baggage storage space.
I have used the Bellair shuttle for about 10 years. I am a 20 year disabled Veteran and I get a reduction in my bus fare of 10 %. I take my 65 lb service dog on every trip. I am honestly satisfied with no issues.I will mention the freeway is unpredictable and no falt of the bus line. Give your self more time if you are taking the bus during the morning or evening rush. Dont take it out on this great company and its drivers.
The only thing guaranteed about this service is that the shuttles are always late, which has seriously screwed me over more than a few times, even if I schedule my shuttles hours in advance. Everything is always last minute, and the service is poorly organized. The only reason Im giving one star is because there are occasional drivers that really do provide outstanding service, but again, these drivers are not common.
I took the shuttle on Friday, July 19th. The shuttle was late, and 2 ladies showed up to pick us up from Tulalip to meet the driver in Stanwood. At that time, it was already 3:05pm, my shuttle supposed to leave at 2:35pm and arriving at 3:45pm at the airport for me to catch my 6:00pm international flight. When I found out they are driving N, it was too late for me to get off as the ladies did not inform us about the plan before we board. I asked, and they called the driver and he said we will arrive at the airport at 4:15pm. I was skeptical as my Google Maps showed arrival at 4:25pm from Marysville. We arrived at the airport at 4:50pm, and the cut off for my Luggage check-in time is 5:00pm. The driver was EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. He slowly unloading our luggage, scolding others when they were trying to help, and was very unfriendly. The driver wanted everyone to get off the bus before he unload the luggage. I took the 1st stop even though my Airline is at the 2nd stop due to this reason, for I know if I had taken the 2nd stop, I will never make the flight. He arranged my luggage for the 2nd stop and shoved my luggage to the back, and I cannot see my luggage. I tried to look for it by moving some luggage around, and he yelled at me.There is another lady with an infant by herself, and he was yelling at her as well as she was trying to get to her flight which is boarding already. It was the WORST experience EVER.To also come to somehow find out that the reason for the delay is due to they over-booked the bus, not because of accident or traffic. It was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to be honest with you and this is my last time taking this shuttle. So, ride at your own risk.
Ive used Bellair Airporter many times and will continue to do so. Never been late as a fault of theirs. Excellent prices, friendly staff, accommodating. 5 stars
We had a great (and very safe) winter charter up to Princeton, B.C. and our drivers Ken and Kevin were fantastic, accommodating and very helpful and professional for the border crossings. Thank you!
Ya get what you pay for. 2 hour drive from Tacoma to Leavenworth turned into over 5 1/2 drive! The bus driver didn’t know where she was going and had to turn around and take a different route entirely. The only reason I’m not giving one star is that this trip only cost me $25. Poor customer service, the driver had the balls to ask for a tip!
Great company, good people! Never driving myself to the airport again.
I got the shuttle from seatac to ferndale but they only took me to bellingham,i offered to pay for the extra wich was 6 dlls, they told i can only pay cash, when i told them i didnt have cash i only had my credit card, the driver told me to get out of the bus,i will never use this service again
We take the shuttle frequently and its always been wonderful, as wonderful as driving to the airport can get. Its a great service and has saved us tons of drop off/pick up miles.
Best way to get to Seattle airport. Clean comfortable motor coaches.
Customer service is terrible, their kiosk was closed on a Monday at 10 am, could NOT get through to anyone on the phone and the bus I currently running 35 minutes late. I now remember why I force my friends to pick me up. At least theyll tell me where they are if theyre running late.
Always clean, on schedule, friendly staff. SO much more restful than driving.
Great shuttle with awesome service and drivers
Bellair has been a reliable and pleasant means for me to commute to Seatac from Bellingham. Over four years of regular use I have not missed a plane. Thank you Bellair
Bellair offers hassle-free ride to SeaTac from Bellingham at a reasonable price and first class service on multiple runs daily.
Its a great service and an amazingly reasonable price considering the distance that they transport you.
Scheduled bus left early completely ignoring reservations. Find a different company where paying for a reservation actually means you can get what you paid for.
Great ride from SeaTac to Bellingham...very accommodating driver let me on even though I was a bit late.
My first and last usage of this service. 2 hour delay on first leg due to bus not starting. 30 min delay in my return trip to the airport due to door malfunction. Travel timelines are tight and delays this frequent are not permissible. I asked for a refund and was refused. Just a 25% rebate.
I have used this service multiple times and in the past it has been pretty standard as far as a shuttle service goes. The drivers are nice and the ride is a bit long, but nothing worth a complaint. However, I took this shuttle service this week and it has been AWFUL.My reservation for pick up said 1:40am on 7/1 and when the shuttle had not arrived yet at 1:43am, I called to make sure everything was okay. I was worried I made a mistake or maybe something happened to make the driver late. Im a single woman and was standing in a questionable transient-heavy park and ride, and I wanted to make sure I didnt read the reservation wrong. The woman I spoke with, who also makes reservations for this service, was curt and rude during our call - like it was a bother for her to actually speak to me. She stated the pick-up time is actually 1:45am even though it says something different on the reservation. Now maybe shes not a night person or she was having a bad day, but either way her lack of customer service skills was evident and off-putting.Had this been it, I would never think twice about reviewing this company or sharing my experience, and maybe thats what they count on. However, after an extremely long travel day and delayed departure, this company made a difficult end to my day the absolute worst.I realized as my plane landed in Seattle at 11:05pm with 173 people in front of me trying to deplane that making the 11:30pm shuttle back to Ferndale was going to be tight. I called the shuttle service to see if the left right at 11:30 or if like my pick up they didnt leave until 11:35pm. Five minutes can be HUGE. The same girl I spoke to a few days ago informed me I had to have my bags in hand before they would hold the shuttle. Now, I have bad knees and cannot run through the airport, as much as I wanted, but I maintained contact with this very unpleasant woman and let her know as soon as I had my bags in hand. Too bad, so sad, the shuttle apparently leaves ON TIME from SeaTac.This reservation was PAID IN FULL and I made it clear I was on my way but it did not matter. And when I called to find out who I needed to speak with about my issues on Monday after I figured out a way home and had some separation from the situation, I was transferred to the dispatcher who hung up on me.I have worked in Customer Service for 10+ years and the way this company handled this situation was not only a failure in customer service, but an unacceptable and unprofessional way of doing business.I expressed my frustrations, especially with the unspoken variance of pick up times, but not once did I reduce myself to any sort of misbehavior to warrant what happened.I was told I could wait 7 hours (SEVEN HOURS) to catch the next shuttle or they could give me a partial refund less a $4 processing fee. No apology, no efforts to prove they gave a rip about me as a loyal customer, NOTHING. Just a thats your problem attitude, which only made matters worse and a dispatcher/supervisor who hung up on me.Update 7/9: I have spoken with two representatives of the company and they have made efforts to rectify my issues. I look forward to having a different and more positive experience in the future.Id rather pay triple than take this service ever again.
The only thing that would make the company better is more stops at the Seattle Convention Center.
I thought the staff was very friendly on the way there and back. On the way there a little bumpy going from seattle but they did an excellent job getting us there and back safely. As well as being thorough and nice. I like the bus driver that was at burlington. I also liked our bus driver leaving the area. He was really nice named Mark he was extremely thorough in the way he did things. I also liked how he got us there early and tryed to leave Anacortes early and was just overall a nice guy! The second bus driver from burlington back to seattle was nice too I think his name was John he seemed nice and seemed to make an effort. You never know what to expect on any kind of bus but I thoroughly enjoyed myself on this trip to and from seattle to Anacortes and back to Seattle on the bus. Espcially when your from out of town and you want to see the islands! Which are gorgeous it makes a hudge difference to have nice people. It really makes a difference when people are nice and enojy what they do!!!! Thank you all I will reccomend this company to anybody!!!
Terrible service, and rude telephone operators. The company is poorly run and the owner doesnt even know it. A former employee is a friend of mine and they said that the employees dont show up to work half the time and a few are heavy pot heads, and that makes sense as they have terrible wait times on the phone. Also a lot of reviews are from employees, fake reviews its sad really.
No issues. They have always been on time and when not, its not their fault but the horrendous Seattle traffic.
Always friendly! Always clean! Always on time!
The bus reeked of cat pop and puss. It was sickening! Horrible. Experience! I am going to ask for a refund the stench made my eyes water!
I like it very convenience .
Great driver, Paul. excellent service. thanks
Terrible experience...I am on the bus to Bellingham right now...our driver is so slow he drives in the carpool lane under the speed limit and traffic is whizzing by...by the hundreds...I will drive myself next time!
I was at the airport check in at 7:01pm for the 7 pm bus to Bellingham and it had already left even though they knew I was scheduled to be on the bus! SECOND RATE OUTFIT!
Consistently good service
