My package has been stuck in federal way since June 20th and it is now July 15th. My tracking number still says its on the way and that it would have been here on the 24th of June. I have filed every form and called my local post office multiple times, all they could tell me was its lost in federal way. Encounter a rude front worker just asking for paded envelope for mailing she gave it to me but telling me to order it online. And still talking behind my back what i did is return to her that paded envelope and guest what the mail that i send yesterday is one of the products is missing and there is a tape on that package that i dint put anything on it. Envelop is crampled which i bought that from them! Hope they improve there service of work!!!!

Terrible customer service. I had to look up how to trick their phone tree into letting me speak to someone in person. Multiple lost or not scanned packages, missed delivery dates, items marked left at the door until I provided video evidence and still had to eat the cost of the item and shipping 🤡. The list goes on and on. Choose a different provider if possible. I will buy from another vendor generally if the original seller uses USPS. Truly sad watching this branch under perform and fail. Update* Since moving I have found that other post office locations have much more pride and efficiency.

Hi, this is regarding a package designated by your post office as DEAD MAIL. This is a request for help. Please note I am open to changing this review to 5 stars if you help, and 1 star if not. The tracking number is 9410808205497355624608. The whole address label of this package including tracking was covered with clear tape and affixed to a small flat rate priority mailing box. Since this package has been tracked all the way to the dead mail center, it must still have at least the tracking info still affixed to it. If the Post Office scans or enters the tracking into their computer it will show the to and from address of the package. Why hasnt that been done to return the package to sender or ship it to receiver? In the investigations of the find my mail case why hasnt the dead mail center been contacted to find the package with the tracking info? These seem like the most obvious steps to be taken to find the package and get it to the proper destination. Please find the package using the tracking info, and then forward it according to the address associated with the tracking in the Post Offices computer. Thank you for your help.
I believe I have a package there with tracking number 9400111108400289652823. It was received 6/15 at 5:56 pm. It is now 6/25 and the package is still sitting there, acceptance PENDING. Just wondering when it would be shipping out..? No one seems to be able to answer the phone; horrible customer service so far.

Was told by staff they do not sell postage. Tried to by a label to have something shipped to me from a hotel and that is apparently not possible with the us post office.
I see all the negative comments about our local post office and I can honestly say I have never had an issue here. When I first started my online business a very nice and knowledgeable lady here gave me some extra shipping tips that I still use a year later. Thank you for the help and being patient with me.
It’s been 3 weeks that I am not getting my mails, I am getting notifications of delivering mails to my email inbox, but there are nothing physically in the mailbox to pick up. I hav registered a complaint but still no response. Complaint# 2128184.

I have Po box. When the personl letter arrives in my Po box, the post office will contact you by email. However, when I tried to renewal online, there was no account, even I already have online account. so I contacted customer service, but not easy to contact. Eventually I went to the Post Office and renewal. Anyway customer service pretty good except online service(If you have Po box, you can use Ring bell for service)

I usually make it to the post office several times a week because of my Poshmark business. I usually go to the one in Edgewood. And after today I remembered why I stopped going to the pacific highway post office. I was standing in line with five big boxes, the man asked me if he wanted me to just take them, I said no I needed to get them scanned and get a receipt. The last time I let them take my packages without scanning them I had missing items, that never ended up tracking.I finally got up to the window. It was closing time, so whoever the woman working the register at 4:55 on 04/03/20 was, called me over. She did not acknowledge me, or say hello, all she did was move the plastic with her stick so that I could put my boxes down. She scanned my boxes very quickly and gave me my receipt. I looked at it and told her they were only four boxes scanned on the receipt, she said you only gave me four boxes, I told her no. I gave you five boxes 2 brown 2 white and one floral package, she continued to argue with me, she pulled the four boxes back over and said there were only four. I told her once again there was a 5th and pointed at the floral package that was to the side of her behind her. She took it over and said “oh”.She grabbed my receipt and started checking the numbers and realized that she did in fact miss a package. She did not apologize or acknowledge that she made a mistake scan the fifth box and shoved the receipt back at me.This has happened to me several times where my packages have gone missing because they were never scanned in properly, the only reason why I caught the mistake today was because I finally started checking my receipts. So whoever is in charge of this post office needs to train their employees again, the way that they treat customers is not OK and if you did make a mistake at least have the decency to apologize.
Wow, weird seeing all these negative reviews. Maybe im the lucky one that hasnt had an issue yet with this USPS. Ive shipped many packages with the Federal Way building and all of them have made it to their destination on time.PS: When it comes to shipping items, I never throw it in the USPS Mailbox, I always wait in line and have them SCAN my package. Just to ensure that it doesnt get lost and it shows up on the tracking as USPS Is In Possession of the item

I needed my official change of address letter to process my driving license but it has not arrived yet (don’t do it last minute like me, guys!).After I described my situation, Mr. Knittel, who answered my call, reviewed my status promptly and prepared a letter of confirmation which I received shortly after. Update 11/21/17: Jack at the Federal Way Post Office gave me a call, and was extremely helpful. The post office is not actually the problem. He explained it much better than I can, but this has been an ongoing issue for 20 years. If your package is going to Alaska, its probably on a barge and not actually sitting in the Post Office. Thank you, Jack, for your great customer service.Update: I spoke with my local post office in Alaska. They said that the packages go on a barge after its processed by this post office and thats why it takes so long.This post office is terrible. Every time a package goes through this office, it stays there for at least a week!!! I order textbooks online, and every single time my textbook is delayed for weeks just sitting in this office. Looking at the other reviews, I know this is not just my problem.
My package has been “in transit between facilities” for the last week. The 2 facilities are only about an hour away from each other. I’ve submitted a case, just to have them close it 2 days later, with no help given. Worst postal service available right now.

However, I called this office over 10 times this morning (from 9-9:50am), for an unrelated issue. Not a single person picked the phone up. Not once. Dont try to do damage control. I will put EVERY effort into going above your heads and holding whomever was working this morning accountable.
I have been trying to c ok intact the post office and UPS for about a week. I have a package that has been processed and accepted multiple times by the Federal Way office and still has not left their facility since December 18th.I am just trying to locate my package and find out why it has yet to leave their facility.
Theres only a handful of post offices that I would use for a walk-in service and this is one of them. Although the lines are really long most of the time, thats typical of any post office. The staff is great and always helps me not spend any extra money on unnecessary packaging or services.
I ordered a print that shipped all the way from MD with no problem until it got to Federal Way, where I was told by the company who originally shipped it that it is showing as lost. It was a piece of my own artwork printed for me and I never received it. Ive never had a problem with my mail going through Seattle . I hope my mail never goes through the Federal Way Post Office again.
Man these people work hard during the holidays. Jack was awesome answering questions, making sure peoples packages were packed properly. He was super friendly and gave the best service. Everyone else in the office seemed friendly too and very efficient.

I had put my mail in the box at 4:15 pm. I noticed the box was pretty full .The stated pickup time was for 5:00pm. Box was still full at 6:02 pm when I returned to drop an additional letter. Tried to contact postal service to advise them of this situation.I hope my earlier mail did not get stolen.

I have no idea how this post office is still open. How is no one from the higher ups seeing that this place has a rating of 1.3 and whats even worst is the lowest you can put is 1 star cause you cant put a 0. My package arrived there on April 7 and was suppose to arrive on April 9 for my dads birthday and he still hasnt received it. I spent weeks making a hand-painted something for my Mom, only for it to go missing and get an empty box delivered to her house in AZ. I am so upset. the box spent TWO weeks here and then randomly she got the empty box today. Great job, USPS. Youre horrible. I will NEVER go through you again. Ill stick to pricier, dependable UPS.

Lost my package. If you choose USPS, make sure that it does not go through the Federal Way facility. They do not address complaints filed through the website, dont return emails, and do not answer the phone. One star was the minimum rating, but they dont deserve that.Go FedEx or UPS or get it insured, or you will be sorry.
I checked online to see the status of my package and it said Undeliverable as addressed. So, I tried calling USPS and since no one ever answer the damn phone, I now have to rush down to Federal Way after work and hopefully receive my package before it gets shipped back to the sender. At first I believed this was just impossibly busy, know I understand it is to avoid accountability. My package from Arizona had reached to within 80 miles of me at the Federal Way sorting facility, who then sent it to Atlanta, GA ????? A five day dead space with Federal Way as the last point of discharge. Online customer service # is automated and useless, telling me the same information the tracking page gives me, nothing. EVERY SINGLE PACKAGE I HAVE SENT FROM NOW ON, I WILL SPECIFICALLY ASK TO NOT USE USPS. The people will soon stand for this type of business practice no longer, and bulk junk mail will be your only viable avenue for customers. I will wave at you as you crash and burn. Dani
Very unprofessional . The employees are always talking with another in Korean, no English is spoken here..really! No welcome smiles, they do not like to scan pre-paid items, its too much effort. When its busy, no back-up to help out. I think I will start going to the Twins Lakes one, its out of the way for me but the customer service is well worth it. Thank you.
I am a college student and have no choice on who companies ship with. However, I HATE Federal Way, Washington! They constantly hold my books for weeks at a time and Im inevitably late with my assignments. Its a consistent aggravation that they cant seem to just pick up the package, drop it into the Anchorage pile and then let it go on its happy way. They have to make it the longest, most painful process ever! NEVER GO THROUGH FEDERAL WAY IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!!!!

All of the packages I order ship through Seattle just fine, when I see theyve been shipped through the USPS in Pacific WA, I may as well consider them gone. Sorry but dont count on receiving your packages if they go through this post office, I never do.
My package has been stuck in this facility for 4 days in route to California. I have been trying frantically to reach someone and have run into a brick wall. I have started a case number but no one has gotten back to me. I leave out of the country in two days and need my package. Im sad to say that I cannot trust the Post Office to deliver a package appropriately. Im hoping someone from this facility will reach out to me using this avenue so that they can find and ship my package.
I dropped my package to outside mail box, but it was just disappeared. It was a used smartphone which I sold at eBay, but they didnt scan it. USPS investigated but couldnt find anything. I lost my shipping label fee & the phone worth $80. How can I trust USPS? Now I have to take a picture of all packages and drop them to the mail box inside of building, but I am still anxious about missing. It may happen again if you ship any pricey small package.
Just read the other reviews. This branch lost my package after I sent the package from CA and now its saying return to sender for no reason. ITS GONE. WORST BRANCH. Does not even answer phones because they know how terrible they are. SHUT THIS BRANCH DOWN OR REHIRE! There are perfectly capable and willing people in this world without jobs that will prove higher competency than these imbeciles that cannot ship a package in the country, let alone in the same state!
This place lost my expensive collectibles: They FAILED to scan when they received the package at their location. They FAILED to deliver (Ive been sending packages to the same business for months with the same address with no issues until these employees got their grubby hands on it). Then after a CLAIM had to be made, they finally SCANNED it saying they will send back to sender and are now refusing to send it back to sender. Like the person before me said: corrupt or lazy employees and/or management at this location. I have tracking number and religiously following it. On Yelp people have stated that this location outright steals your packages and sends empty packages back to sender. Believe me an inspector general needs to be notified of this place.
I ordered business cards and have been tracking them religiously. They stopped at this facility and have been sitting there for 10 days. Its a freaking tiny box of cards.. What on earth could be the hold up?! Cant get anyone to answer the phone ever. Very frustrating.
Just dont use hold music and check your calling system. If I can see I put in 96 for my tracking number and your system spits out 99, it has a problem. Plus It hung up on me on hold. I had a 27-45 wait time that jumped to almost 2 hours when I immediately called back.
Id give this facility zero stars if I could. Shoot, Id give the entire USPS zero stars. My daughters birthday present from her grandfather is now a week late because the idiots at this facility sent it to NEW JERSEY instead of up to northwestern Washington, where it was supposed to go. The package came from Ohio! This is inexcusable.Our mail is consistently lost or sent back attempted undeliverable because the postal workers aretoo lazy to do the job we pay entirely too much for then to do. I even had a package delivered to my house once that *I* had mailed out the day before to someone else, with the USPS generated label on it. Then they expected me to pay postage again because they are incompetent. Use UPS or FedEx. Dont bother with the USPS. Its run by a bunch of morons who are highly overpaid for doing nothing.

My package arrived when I wasn’t home and I was left a pink/peach slip. I filled it out, scheduled a re-delivery, and placed the slip in my mailbox like I was instructed to. My re-delivery came and went and no package. The following day I spent 40 MINUTES ON HOLD with the customer service number. I was told that my package was at the federal way post office. I drove down there and explained the situation to the teller and she said it wasn’t there and couldn’t help me because I didn’t have a tracking number. She called her “post master” to help with the situation. She was VERY unhelpful and did not explain WHY someone would redirect me to that post office when my package wasn’t there. She talked down to me, didn’t even TRY to help me locate my package or even give me ways to troubleshoot my problem. I’ve gone to this location before. Everyone that works there always has an attitude and it’s hard to want to do business with Federal Way USPS because of it. No help to her I was able to track it down. Thanks. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Poor, awful, not sure if I want to add other negative adjectives to explain this crappy office. I have a package that got from London to Federal Way in 3days, including customs. I have not received my package from Federal Way even though it has been in transit for 3 days. Then you try to call them and guess what, they do not answer their phone. Surprise, I know... A horribly run location has another flaw. Overall I feel helpless and wish I could request my packages go to ANY other post office. Shoot, I would drive to OR before having my mail at Federal Way.Sorry if your mail is here, kiss it goodbye for now. You might receive it in a couple weeks after it gets to Federal Way.
For the second time they went to the wrong address. This address is used for delivery all the time, but they cant seem to figure it out. I have used other companies without problem, but they are too stupid to do the job.
This USPS Facility is the worst it has been for years, every time I have a package that gets scanned into the Federal Way, Washington facility it takes a week or longer to leave the facility or it says that it left the facility but it doesnt arrive anywhere for a week or longer! It has been like this for years Im finally fed up with this bs facility! I know plenty of other people that feel the same way about this place! Im going to look at petitions, contacting the government for complaints, and the better business Bureau, news networks, that facility is run by incompetent people and Im tired of my packages getting stuck there! Im seriously looking up every way to get this noticed and on the radar so this stops!
They rarely if ever answer the phone. They loose all my packages and seem to have an attitude if you can get someone on the phone. I am currently trying to get someone on the phone now. I have tried 6 times and nothing. This package should have been here Friday the 18th and today is Monday the 21st. USPS is about the worst company I have to deal with. My head hurts just thinking about calling them.

Ive had a package Out for delivery from this post office for a week now, and whenever I call, they wont even pick up the phone. Now Ive had to convince my boss to let me clock out early from work just so I can go to the post office and figure out where my package is and whats going on.

The post office gave my mail to someone else. They refused to forward my mail. Ive had to file several complaints with the post office general. The clerks are rude and discrimate based on color and economic background. The worst post office I have ever been too. There have been several problems with my mail delivery and packages not being delivered.

About 70% of my mail (usually packages from amazon purchases) gets delivered to my neighbors house...... even after I called and complained. Im sure my poor neighbor is so sick of delivering me my mail, bless her heart. She has a sign on her house with the last name of the family which is very similar to mine so the mail guy just looks at the last name instead of the address and just drops it off there :( im just lucky I have an honest neighbor!!

This is where i go to drop off packages and mail most of the time. I havent ever had any issues here. We used to have a P.O. box here but changed to a locked mailbox because of the inconvenience and them not being 24/7. My only complaint about this place is how old and run down it is. This is like the ultimate ghetto, you couldent find a worse looking and mantained business in the area. It looks like the government stopped funding this place decades ago. The U.S Postal service is failing big time and that shows when you go here. Please do a major overhaul or at least some cleaning. Your welcome in advance for increasing your overall star rating!
Several times, my packages got stuck there. There were 3 different occasions in which I never received my parcels at all, and the last place they were, was at this Post Office. Right now, I have 2 packages stuck there, and one has been there for a month! Whats happening? Do you have the Mafia taking stuff?
This place is terrible. Basically the black hole of USPS. If your package goes through here, good luck. I had a package sent through them and who knows if I will ever see it. You cannot get in contact with the branch and if you do expect them to tell you it is your fault. Pretty sad and I would have never expected this would be an issue with a postal service.

I have a package that was or shall I say as of this date 5-18-2017 that is suppose to get to Alaska which had a delivery date of the 17th of May. Today is the 18th and still nothing delivered. Checked the tracking and as of the 13th it says its sitting in this post offices facility and hasnt left yet and its been 5 days. Looking at the reviews I am to see that I am not the only one with issues of held packages or packages not going anywhere after arriving at this facility. I really wish the postmaster would investigate this location. Review cameras if they have them. Send a package through undercover to find out what happens with the packages. I mailed a package November 2nd to a paid-in-full customer. Ive already received & cashed his check. Its now November 20th and he still has not received it. I mail about 20-30 packages a month, and not one package has been delivered in more than 5 days unless a weekend was involved. My package had a return address of Elko, NV & a Ship to address of Newburg, Oregon. Clearly printed on the label, my receipt clearly states that was the destination. About 8 days later my package is in Arizona for no explainable reason. The package has now traveled to Federal Way for the SECOND time, and is now DELAYED for the SECOND TIME! Makes me look like Im doing bad business from the customers eyes. Reading all of the reviews, it seems the owner of the Federal Way post office likes to make excuses and blame all of the missing & delayed packages on the Seattle Network Distribution Center. Either way, I will be calling first thing Monday to complain and see if I can request the package be Returned to Sender so I can reship it thru UPS or FedEx.
Ive had a few days in a row on MULTIPLE occasions that the mailman doesnt even COME! I have waited & waited and they dont even show up!I have had things that I had been waiting for and supposed to be delivered on a certain day be 2-3 days late. Its ridiculous when your laziness affects someone elses livlihood!!
I had a package sent to me from Cali. It went from one post office to this one on Federal way on the 4th. No one seems to know where my package is..the clam results are a bunch off bull and its now the 11th and still getting the run around....the package was sent on the 30th....someone needs to lose their job
Well, by reading some of the reviews here, I know Ill never see my lost any more, I do sells via ebay and they lost my item, so now Ill reimburse the money to my customer and I dont have my product any more >:( terrible service and as everybody here; I can not get any body to pick up the phone :(PS I GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE I HAD TO, BUT THEY DESERVE NO STAR AT ALLSO, NOW WHAT?? I LOST I LOST? CAN SOBODY TELL ME WHAT CAN DO TO RECOVER MY LOST PACKAGE? OR SHOULD I JUST GIVE UP AND MOVE ON? :/ VERY VERY DESAPONTED :(

Suck ass they lose your packages they never answer their phone. Horrible horrible customer service this is happening to everyone and not the first time it has happened to me from thus post office. I bet they are stealing everyones mail F-ing thieves. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING THAT WILL PASS THREW THIS PO THEY ARE THIEVES IT IS THE ONLY PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION TO WHERE EVERYONES MISSING PACKAGES GO AFTER ENTERING THIS PO.
I manage a web based company and am disappointed, frustrated and the company out money because of the USPS sorting facility in Federal Way, Washington. Ive never gotten a clear answer why this particular location is such a problem but I hope that it will be investigated and fixed.
This place lost my husbands package from his parents which contained very sentimental items. Tracking stopped there and said there is nothing to do even WITH INSURANCE. Uneducated lazy scum work there, they need new management and employees.

Indeed, suckass service!!!! it went from occasional to constantly worrying if ill get mail on time so then I used certified and still got run arounds from yet another ill tempered and shady postal doofus in need of an ego boost so finally now getting my mail sent express. Its taken up to almost 2 weeks to get my mail before!! Mail lady found it hidden in the corner somewhere. Theyve got a lotta gaul taking it up with me and ive had other run ins with these sobs!! And getting others mail frequently and once again interfering and telling me what to do with my mail.... and then my reply. Alot of em need to be in prison, ive had mail not show up before as well and my apt mgr noticed how they are as well
