We have taken our cars to Eagle for more than 20 years. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They take good care of our vehicles. They add the personal touch to each service job with a thank you card in the mail from the owner afterwards.
They are the best. So glad to find them. Five stars!
My sister-in-law has had good experiences here.
I have been having problems with my radiator and when I called they told me the shop fee was 65$ to have my car looked at and as soon as I walked in there the price DOUBLED to $120. They called and left a voicemail when finished with diagnostic and price of about $700 + tax for new radiator. BUT once we actually spoke to them over the phone the price went up almost $200 somehow to $900+ tax. When I asked WHY the price went up I was given no explanation and they refused to honor the original price they told me in the voicemail NOR would they take even $20 bucks off or any discount because of miscommunication and THEIR error. I’m not convinced they are being honest . I was in a situation where I had to get my car fixed that day otherwise I would have gone somewhere else! Customer service certainly not their strong suite!
Very affordable, I needed a 60000 mile tune up on my car and I can really only forward just the tune up portion. I left him know and I appreciate the fact that they just did only what I asked them to do, normally when you go as a woman into any automotive place they think that they can just Hoodwink and swindle You by making you pay for extra stuff that you dont need done or want done, very nice and very fast
Honest and fair. Happy wife happy life.
RESPONSE TO RONS RESPONSE (typing here since I dont see another way to respond)-While I appreciate your response you actually made it worse. You admitted that I told you about my H&R Lowering Springs. How can you say that I have stock ride height when I have H&R Lowering Springs?! Incredible...I wouldnt trust this place to put a new tire on my Wheel Barrow!I went to Northshore Automotive this morning and they were very professional, nice and performed the alignment without any issues. They even gave me a 10% off for being a Veteran!ORIGINAL POSTING- I wish that I read the other reviews discussing Eagle Tire & Automotives (AKA Kurosky Tire) Bait and Switch tactics before I took a day off to get my car serviced experiencing the following incident. On June 25th at 0855hrs I arrived for the 0900hrs appointment. A male (later identified as Serge) met me half way as I was walking to the store. He wasnt wearing any clothing or name tag identifying that he was an employee of Eagle Tire & Automotive. He immediately asked if I was there for the alignment. I confirmed that I was and he got very negative stating that my car was lowered/modified and that it would cost extra. (When a vehicle is properly lowered it does not take extra time to set the toe or perform an alignment.) He stated I dont know who you talked to but it would cost at least $125 to put it on the alignment rack and will probably cost more. I showed him my notes from when I made the appointment that I spoke with Ron and that the price was $89.50. He said that Ron was the owner but that he wouldnt have said that. I again stated that the car wasnt pulling or have any issues and felt that we just needed to adjust the toe. I asked him to call Ron to verify my conversation and that this was a simple alignment. Serge called Ron while turned away from me and spoke very quietly. Once he was off the phone with Ron I was informed Ron informed me that he specifically asked if your car was lowered/modified and you told him no...its stock. (Completly untrue as I volunteered that my car was lowered with H&R springs and no issues other than I just installed new outer tie rod ends and wanted it aligned when I phoned in the appointment.) I again stated that this was already discussed but he stated that it would be $125 minimum to start. I denied the bait and switch tactic and informed him that I would never give them my business again and would inform others to prevent them having the same experience. This completely unprofessional experience was horrible which is why Im taking the time to write this to assist others.
Dont go here. Im no genius but when I walked in and spoke to them I could tell they were getting over on people with the types of prices they charge and the things they said might need work without any proof. My screen name is not my real name, so before the owner tries to write back like he does in the other reviews saying he has no record of me coming in, that is why. I went in. I wont go back.No matter how much the owner protest, everyone on this review board cant be lying. Maybe they should take self accountability and change their ways.Edit: I went in. And in response to the owners review, it doesnt matter if I identity myself. You all are shady. Do you want me to identity myself so you can attack me?To others I say, if you believe me or not, there are enough bad reviews to show this is not a good place.
Its a great place to have the work done on your Car
At one time, I left these guys a 5 star review and then had a less than stellar experience. I left a 2 star review after that. The manager, John, called me. He made it right, so I am leaving a five star review again. Mistakes happen and are to be expected. As long as someone is willing to admit their mistakes and attempt to make it better, its all anyone can ask for. I recommend Eagle.
Fixed my issues and great customer service! Charles very pleasant to deal with through entire process!
Good shop good techs honestly
The work that was done was great. The customer service from the front counter was something to be desired.
Eagles does to your car, what real Eagles do to football...they handle it... and well at that... #12...
I havent been there, but have heard about this company. Now, I read all the reviews and it seems like those that wrote with details of their problem, the person that wrote back seems to have the same answer, never heard of this person, or no record of this person. Other reviews all they say is, great company, or honest company, not to many of them would write what was the car taken in for. I would for sure read the reviews before you call or even take your car there. Again, I havent taken my car there, I just read the reviews and not happy what I read. I gave a 1 star not to hurt their ratings, I gave a 1 star because of the answers he gave to the low stars, not to professional.
Great device and price
Charles at the front desk and my mechanic Surg (spelling?) are great guys.
I went in on a Saturday a month ago when I smelled my brakes burning. The gentleman at the counter was polite as I explained the situation. I asked if hed be willing to take a look and he declined. He wouldnt even step outside. He proceeded to tell me it would be a $ 1800 repair. How would he know? He never even glanced. Anyone who quotes pricing without looking should be avoided. Id rather be told theyre simply not interested in my repair job. I did not get his name but I wanted to give at least 2 stars for being polite.
Had tires I wanted and fitted me in for oil change as well. Nice tech, John, at desk. Did work asked for and said fluid levels were good. After paying leaving I found break fluid level at low level and had to go back for then to add solution.
Handle clients like a family
I am newer to Washington. I became aware of this location through a coupon for an oil change/ tire rotation I received in the mail. I took my Armada in for the oil change and tire rotation approximately a month ago. Oil change service was fine. Tires were not rotated. I know this because one tire had a slow leak (valve stem) and is still in the same position as it was before, I had to to air it up when it got colder. During the service they did remove my tires (never rotated them)and brought me in to the shop to pitch a new set for purchase and new brakes, my tires are 2 years old so maybe, maybe not on the tires. The brakes I knew I needed new rotors and pads (completed a week after visit at a different service center.) The quotes offered by Eagle were much to high, so I shopped around saving hundreds. When my brakes were serviced by the different shop, the technician informed me I was missing the locking nut on my back left wheel. The only place this would have happened was Eagle, (Eagle didn’t advise the locking nut was missing a week prior when they serviced the vehicle). I contacted Eagle and they advised a manager would return my call which never happened. I ended up buying my own replacement lug nut. Overall the staff is friendly and polite. The prices are too high in my opinion and shopping around saved me a good deal of money. The unnerving thing is that with something simple to make right (the lug nut) they didn’t follow through. Even more disappointing is that I paid for the rotation of my tires which was not completed. The tires were off the vehicle but only to upsale services. Will not return.
Eagle Tire is about maximizing profits over fixing a vehicle. to make a long story short... I came in to replace a tire pressure sensor, and they come back with a $70 diagnostic fee that I didnt ask for, and then bring it back to pay $600 to fix. Go to Goodyear in Fife, and tell them install new sensor $95. Problem solved. Stay away from maximum profit driven Eagle Tire!
Great, friendly customer service. Always helpful and thorough. I feel like I can trust them with my car.
Weve only gone a couple times but we really like them. They are very honest. They tell us when we dont need a service which Ive never had at the big name places, according to other places our cars are always on the verge of collapse. Thanks for being honest.
Good service.
These guys are great. They had my wheel stud replaced within just a few hours of CALLING for an appointment!
I paid for a tire to be replaced that was damaged by road hazzard . They repaired my spare for free. Awesome service.
Very helpful, knowledgeable and Charles was very sharp.100% Confidence leaving my vehicle with Eagle Tire & Automotive!!!Thank you for the exceptional & professional service!
We have taken our cars to Eagle Tire for about 20 years, because they do excellent work, their rates are reasonable, and they are courteous and conscientious. In all those years, the two times something small was missed, they were grateful to be told about it, fixed it, and made sure the person who had done the work knew about it. We trust Eagle Tire to do the work and to give us excellent advice on all matters related to our cars.
Fantastic local business. Dave helped me choose two new quality tires I could afford as well as an alignment. I called every tire store in Tacoma before choosing Eagle because the price was BETTER for a higher quality product/service. I would have spent more on less had I gone anywhere else. I live in Seattle and I will be coming back to Eagle because they are the best.
Quality service and friendly staff. We are longtime always returning customersGreat service.
Excellent service! They were great on the phone and when I brought the car in. They took as long as they said they would, Im definitely coming back
I had called them due to a flat. They were able to patch my tire up quickly and get me back on the road. They were extremely helpful and nice.
Always great service at Eagle! They even suggested a large rebate on our recent repair. They filled out the form and offered to mail it in for us! Above and beyond. Thanks Eagle!
Great staff. Yes slightly higher prices but MUCH BETTER SERVICE. I have purchased tires, gotten oil change and general check up on truck
They are absolutely the worst place to go for car air conditioning. They hype it up and boom, your a.c. works just ok, not really cold. Ugggggg
David was great to work with and easy to work with. Found a wheel tire after searching everywhere.
I took my car in for wheel balancing, they told me it would take less then 1 hour. 2 hours later it still wasnt done and when I asked them, the receptionist started yelling at me
Wonderful service we have bee a customer for over 20 years
I brought my car in for a simple oil change. They only asked for my last name, didnt even take my phone number, they were rude and distant. Then when I get my car back, they have left dirty black hand marks all over my seats and door. First and last time i take my car here.
These people might seem nice, but I am known as the car guy where I work, and I have saved three of my co-workers several thousand dollars in repairs these people told them they needed and wanted to overcharge them for. One lady had a Chrysler and was quoted $800 for repairs I steered her to another shop that did them for $300. A second co-worker was quoted $1500 for his subaru, I steered him to another shop that charged him $460 and a third co-worker was told she need $1800 in repairs on her BMW, I looked at her car it needed NOTHING and took it to another shop to confirm it needed nothing. Obviously this shop wants your money, all of it. I would not even enter in the door of this business unless you are a millionaire and dont care about throwing your money away. If they give you a quote, go elsewhere to a reputable honest repair facility and keep your hard earned cash.
Great service
I just didnt like getting yelled at Im traveling through Ill be out of wa soon Ill delete the review shortly once out
Didnt go there
The blond guy was not nice and soft!
They are very good and timely with repairs, communicate clearly, provide necessary detail so you can make an informed decision. I have been going to Federal Way Eagle for years and obviously trust them to work on my vehicle(s) since I keep going back. That means something. Its expensive no matter where you go when it comes to auto repair - its the nature of the beast, ugh. Yes, they do try to upsell a bit (as a consumer thats part of the reason why we are responsible for asking questions--its on us to make sure we understand what is being offered & understand what is needed, whats a safety issue, and whats a nice-to-have and they explain everything quite well). I have yet to go to any repair shop, retail store, or restaurant, for that matter, where I have not experienced at least some measure of upsell. Bottom line: they are professional, friendly, do good work and stand by their work. Fyi, I have no vested interest in giving a review. I decided recently that I was going to write more reviews because I use others reviews/find them helpful and figure I should contribute to that system if Im going to use it. And as a customer, I think its important to give feedback.
They fixed my old bulbs on my dashboard fine but they replaced my cigarette lighter and it broke soon after but were kind and fixed it again for me and did it quick and im very grateful
Good specialists, good service, reliable people, do their job well with honest service, happy customer for over 5 years
Listened to my concerns & helped accordingly & didnt try to sell me more than I needed or could afford. Had me back on the road promptly.
Doing it right, you see the cop cars getting worked on you know you picked the right shop.
Very busy. Employees pleasant and moved quickly
Very good service for your tires
Great service, friendly staff, they know their stuff!
Great customer service!!!
Fast and friendly. I take my car here for all its needs
Honest reasonable reliable. My go to car shop.
Best mechanics in town.
Have oil changes regularly.. friendly crew
Very friendly staff
Took my car in for an oil change. Called me two hours later saying they did a brake inspection and everything broke into pieces upon inspection and they cant put it back together unless they were replaced, by them of course. So I had no way of driving my my car out of there unless I paid up. I never asked them to check my brakes and I just checked them not even two weeks before when I purchased the car and they were fine. Complete scam job. They got me for 400 bucks that day but I will make sure they never get another penny from anyone I know. Many other people share similar stories when I tell them about this. Avoid this place at all costs.
Good place to get your service done at
Bottom line, I trust these guys to work on my vehicle.
Do not use this place! Always trying to upsell and create more services than you need! Very expensive place to begin with!
