I contacted W&D in order to get my front door replaced. My initial contact was not promising, as the receptionist seemed disinterested and aloof. The gentleman that came out in order to prepare an estimate completely reversed that negative impression - he was quick, understood what I wanted and did not imply any high pressure tactics. He promised the estimated in 3-4 days.Problem is that estimate never came. I contacted them 3 more times, each approximately ten days apart, each time I was promised the estimate would be re-sent. At this point, I cannot recommend this company to others.

Tryna in the office was professional and friendly and was able to help me out with all my questions. My salesperson Jeremy, very knowledgeable and spent the time needed to understand what we were looking for. Install went great! Installers showed up on time and did a great job. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Window and Door Specialties of the Sandhills in Fayetteville, NC does fantastic work! We previously had them install and upgrade to our windows (3/4 years ago) and recently reached out to Kenny Patterson and his team to have them upgrade the rest of our home. We previously had Masonite siding that we were replacing every other year due to dry rotting and other issues. They were able to replace the siding with quality vinyl, wrap everything else with vinyl, replace our doors, rails, and even screen in our porch for a reasonable cost. The installation team that Kenny sent to us - John Gastor and crew, were very polite, clean and professional. They did an amazing job while fighting extreme heat indexes. The office personnel, Kylie (not sure I spelled this correctly) and Trina always were polite, professional, and quick to answer questions or return calls. You cannot go wrong when you have Kenny Patterson and the team he has from Window and Door Specialties of the Sandhills, complete any work for you! :)

We presented this company with a very difficult set of windows and they were excellent. See the photo for yourself. We had a mix of regular windows and walls of glass. Every pane in the picture was replaced by this company and wrapped in vinyl. The installation was top quality and we are very pleased. I highly recommend this company.

They were upfront as per complete time but when I walked in they took one look at the repair needed to be done and said give them about 10 -15 minutes to get it done... very clean place & COVID-19 safe. Thank you Burgess Clan

I used Window and Door Specialties of the Sandhills to replace the back windows on my home. I had already received outrageous quotes from Replacements by Anderson as well as Pella ($60,000+ for the entire home)!!! And my home is only 2200sqft! I called Window and Door Specialties and they sent Kenny out. He priced my windows at 1/3 of their price. Just had them installed last week and I absolutely love them. And their installers were TOP NOTCH. I will be using them again to finish the rest of my home.

This company just replaced multiple windows. Two pairs of two casement windows. One three window casement and two windows in the master bath.Ken and Corey gave a very reasonable quote of the job. I tried to schedule these folks to come out and give me an estimate to repair a couple windows which were damaged during the hurricane. The first appointment they no showed and when I called back to reschedule, it took 15 minutes on the phone only to be told that they would be in Pembroke on Friday and they could look at the house then because that is the only time they will be in that area my home is in Fayetteville so I asked the employee if she made a mistake and she giggled and said oops that is right your house is in PEMBROKE.....they might do great work but I couldnt get an appointment scheduled after 3 phone calls and 20+ minutes on the phone.

I have done business with this company on two separate occasions. I have had windows replaced in two houses. Both times the install was done well, but both times I had issues. The 1st home, the bathroom windows were clear instead of the frosted that was ordered. The second home a window was cracked. Both sets of windows came with lifetime warrantees. Trying to get them replaced is almost a miracle. After numerous calls (over about 3 months) on the first home, I received my replacement frosted windows. I have not been that lucky with the second home. I still have not received my replacement window after about 6 months. Each time I call I am greeted very kindly by the lady whom seems to understand my frustration, but am told they will check the warehouse and Kenny would return the call. I still have not heard from Kenny. The quality of the window and the installation is good, but hope you dont have any issues, because the service is very much below standard.

I would never recommend anyone to do business with Sandhill Window and Doors. It’s about six week later and I still haven’t had my window fixed. They sent two different people out to measure the window. The first guy Jeremy said two weeks. The two weeks had passed. Never heard from him. After, I and my husband left numerous messages on their answer machine with no one returning our calls. I drive down to their office to speak with someone directly was told they needed to send another person out to measure the window. Now, two weeks later after visiting their office. On the day they said they would be out to put the window in. I called in the morning and was told the glass still wasn’t done and that they didn’t know when it would be. I would never recommend this company or do business with them. I was told many different timelines as to when the window could be fix and promises that the glass was going to be in on such and such day.

This is a Great honest company with an immense compassion for making sure the job is done right !!

Not only did it take 4 weeks longer to get the job done than I was told. This company did not do what they said they were going to and are now trying to charge me for something they didn’t do. Customer service is terrible on top of it. Find someone else to do your door or window work. Terrible way to run a business.
