As a former Planet Fitness member I was skeptical of the whether or not I would receive a better membership and amnesties for a little bit more money.I knew I was sold once Bryn answered the phone. The gym in itself has everything you could need in a facility. There is plenty of equipment for you to get a solid lift in and the staff is friendly. However, there are some improvements that should be made to enhance the quality of the gym. For starters, the dumbbell rack should have weight labels so that they are placed back in the correct location. It is a pain seeing mismatch and incorrectly placed weights. Along with that, a majority of the barbells and self-loading machines are covered in rust which I feel should be cleaned more regularly. Additionally, the equipment typically has tears in the padding that has not been fixed in a while. As for a personal preference, I think some of the machines could be removed and replaced with cables because they are typically in high demand with not a large supply. Overall, I believe these are small updates that can greatly take this gym from just being good to being great.

Good gym in a convenient location (to us in West Fayetteville). The equipment is well maintained and we havent had issues with access although we dont go at peak times. Our toddler enjoys the kids area and the staff are highly friendly. The sauna / steam room are good but operation seems a bit strange (temperature swings).

It’s a great gym, but the hours are awful. It seems like they changed them at the height of Covid which makes sense, but the gym has been packed for months now and it’s honestly too crowded. I wish they would extend their hours again.EDIT: They’re expanding hours!

Cancelled my membership after almost 3 years. Condescending arrogant rudeness is NOT how you stay in business. Went and put my money back in the community by using the Boys and Girls club, with the pool and the upstairs walking track and machines for a fraction of the price.

So they recently implement a list policy for the pool where you can sign up for slots to swim. They come out every other week. It seems like a reasonable thing. However, there are three people who take every spot for the next two weeks from 5-7. I got to work and I have a son that I have to take to school. Its not fair that I will not be able to swim for two weeks because someone can sign up for every spot. So if you decide to sign up for a membership because of the pool good luck swimming for the next two weeks.

Special thanks to Jackson for his excellent customer service. I called to ask about a guest pass while there were technical difficulties at the gym. Needing to return to work, I hung up. It wasnt a couple of minutes that Jackson called back and apologized.I visited the gym and found Jackson most helpful and down-to-earth friendly. He provided a free three day trial, which only required two quick signatures, one for Covid liability. Upon departing, I witnessed Jackson giving an outstanding tour to a prospect.I am a member of a community gym undergoing transition and which I have deep social ties. Id sign-up for a Fitness One membership in a heartbeat if it werent for this and if there were distinguishable signs of community. Their equipment is new and well-kept, their facility is super clean. Also, the music isnt blaring.Additionally, Id like to thank Sara for touring the swimming area. I was lucky to meet her, as a lot of the reviews praise her customer service. I requested a window tour and she was ready to answer.Thank you, staff, for the excellent experience!

With social distancing being a priority nowadays, Fitness One is the only fitness center big enough to space out all of its nice equipment so that you can exercise away from others. They clean everything thoroughly and provide a safe environment for you to get away from the house and help you build a healthy body. They have a huge pool to swim, steam room, and huge whirlpool for those aching muscles. It is the best fitness center that I have ever been a member of.

I’ve been coming for a couple years. Nice gym but they still have not extended their hours. I’ve asked before covid was an issue. During the height of covid they were unable due to money loss, okay understand. But everytime I go, it busy to where i am unable to get on machines. So at this point why not extend the hours to at least 11pm before covid and the weekend hours are trash. Should be the same as weekdays. And now I just called asking about masks.. still required yet no one wears inside but we have to wear coming in and out which makes no sense and CDC says we don’t need to wear anymore if vaccinated.

I LOVE Fitness One! Clean facilities, incredible workout equipment, professional staff, and good operating hours! The fitness classes offered are wonderful with great instructors. I personally love the sauna and steam room as amenities, as well! It is worth every penny to work out here at a place that cares for their members!

Fitness One has made everyone feel incredibly safe during this hard time! They constantly have staff sanitizing and ensuring that all customers are properly following the correct protocol!

You need to sign up a sheet to reserve a lane to swim, which they are all booked two weeks ahead. If youre planning to use the pool, dont bother wasting you money.

You guys either need to open kids club or have hours that open later. Otherwise you are disproportionately discouraging your mother members from being able to achieve fitness.

Nice gym but 6pm close on weekends is ridiculous considering the price. Never in my life have I heard of a gym that closes before dinner time. maybe market your gym toward an older demographic rather than 20 year olds if you want to operate nursing home hours

It’s a great gym other than college kids standing around talking or playing on their phones. It’s frustrating trying to get a good lift in when you have to wait on them to get a bench/squat rack

I fell in love immediately with the availability of classes, free weights, and the steam room. Everything is always so clean, plenty of natural light, and friendly staff.

Please enforce your mask protocol, social distancing, and hygiene of equipment. The gym has a great COVID policy on paper but not in practice at any given time the gym can be crowded (no reservation systems) and you will never see masks enforced on gym floors (only when people enter or exit the facility).Update 9/4: 639 people who have confirmed positive cases amongst the student body. Please block/space your equipment, count the amount people on the gym floor, and force patrons to wear their masks.

Five cardio machines inside a sealed racquetball court is apparently safer than two people playing racquetball. Dont plan on using the courts.

Very clean. Very fancy. Lots of beautiful people. Slightly intimidating. But, an incredible facility offering great group classes as well as having every weight machine known to man.

I love this gym. Ive grown very comfortable with the staff and equipment. Sarah is awesome, she is so nice and makes you feel very welcome. Most of the machines and equipment have instructions on them. Some even have a QR code so you can view videos of the correct way to use the machine. There is a lot of wonderful amenities like a saltwater pool, sauna and steam room (one located in each locker room), basketball court and racket ball. I havent been to the classes yet but the ones coming out look like theyve enjoyed it. They also offer personal trainers and a kids club is available during certain hours. I highly recommend this gym.

The equipment looks nice and the pool too but the sales pitch was outdated and blatantly corporate upsell. Lower price for a longer contract? 7$ towel service? Not up front about price on their website? No thanks. If you can afford it and really need a pool its alright but there are other places that meet the needs of people in the neighborhood.

I have loved working out at this gym, both in Lowell and in Fayetteville. The gyms are in great condition, and the equipment is very nice as well.Sarah, the manager, is incredibly accommodating and humble, which has only enhanced my experience. I definitely recommend this gym, especially the Fayetteville location.

Amenities are great

This gym is amazing. All of the equipment is top of the line and well kept, the design of everything is very sleek and modern, and they have a very nice pool and hot tub. They also have a Himalayan salt rock sauna and a eucalyptus steam room in each of the bathrooms on the main floor. Its definitely worth the price for me.

When i first started going to the gym the pool was broken, the sauna never worked, so i told the manager Sarah that i will come back when everything works. 2 months is how long it took to get everything going, then i broke my shoulder and could not go and they charged me a early consolation fee. Now im felling better and they want to increase the monthly dues and charge me a $ 200 restart fee? No thanks i will go somewhere else.

Cancellation policy is terrible. Make it to where I can cancel online instead of having to drive for hours to sign a cancellation paper. I’d recommend you to go to another gym.

The gym is always clean. The staff is so relaxed and chill. It’s nice that management allows associates to sit on the front desk on their phones at night. Very Fayettchill.

I moved away from Fayetteville and this gym apparently requires a notary-signed document to allow you to cancel a membership.Because in 2020 memberships cannot be cancelled over the phone.

One month later:I do have some minor issues with this place. First, the staff is great and the manager is great. However, I can tell that the gym is not cleaned very often. I see more staff members standing around versus cleaning. Maybe because they are still very busy with new customers, but keeping a gym this clean is very important to the overall and long-term success. Also, they post rules about the gym, but they dont follow through with those people breaking the rules. I really think this gym is amazing and with a few minor tweaks, it could run other gyms out of business. Just my thoughts.

This gym was really great in the beginning. They no longer keep it clean. Considering the monthly fee it should be clean this is imperative for a gym. The staff is always standing around. Locker rooms are dirty. I cant even tell you how many times I have to go to the desk and report no soap or paper towels for hand washing. Please keep it clean and keep the bathrooms stocked. Its not too much to ask for a clean place to work out. The staff needs to clean more than standing around chatting or staring at cellphones... just saying!

Overall, this is a great gym. It has tons of equipment, yoga classes, cycling classes, a sauna, a steam room, a pool, and basketball and racquetball courts, and its really clean. Also, there are no contracts - you pay month by month. Staff is friendly.My biggest issue is that they dont have towels. Ive been to dirt cheap, bare bones gyms that had towels.Some other minor issues that I have with this gym: it closes pretty early on Saturdays and Sundays (8 pm), theres no Crossfit class (though, they DO have an interval training class, so not really a big deal), and they dont have any punching bags.

The training equipment is great and well maintained, but the locker rooms are almost never cleaned well and staff only do light cleaning in training areas. There has been the same dirt, hair, and stains for months now and even small flies in some showers. I also go to Planet Fitness and they keep it clean with less staff and more volume. The steam room hasnt gone a month without breaking and the heat sensor is literally rusting away for months now. Wi-fi is horrible so I dont even bother using it there. Not the Premium Gym Im paying for.

Although this building looks cool, I find a few issues with this gym. 1) over priced 2) hot tub and women’s saunas are usually broken. 3) always crowded.

Currently the best gym in Fayetteville! For those of us who graduated from UARK, it feels a lot like a UREC spin-off. Maybe the owner is an Alumni??The saunas are kinda of nasty, but thats not the gyms fault. Rather the ignorant frat kids who left mommys nest and were never taught proper manners. Ive seen them come in flocks and spit on the floor. Like, WTF? Yall never had a microbiology class in your lives.

Being that I travel a lot, I am always super thankful to be back at my home gym. This gym has so much to offer and sure, we can get nit picky on small issues but a lot of the well known gyms I have gone to while traveling dont even compare to Fitness One. Staff are super awesome and always willing to help. I am there at the same time 5 days a week and there is always someone on the floor cleaning. With that said, often times a piece of cardio equipment will not work properly but there are usually plenty more to work with and things do break from time to time but they have been quick to get it fixed, but my nit picky item deals with space. When the personal training section upstairs is being used, often times they will obstruct the flow of members coming up the stairs. I have watched people come up and not know what direction to go just to get around those training. But that is just my nit picky opinion. Overall, I love this gym and would highly recommend it.

A dishonest company. They claim no contract or hidden fees on their site but will require a 30-day cancellation notice, and make it difficult to cancel your membership.I was lied to my face by their staff whether inadvertent or not while I signed their user agreement and asking about cancellation policies etc as I only needed the use of the gym for a few months.Cancelling is also difficult as I’ve relocated and one must either come to the center in person, or get this, send a letter. Not an email, but an actual letter with a stamp. It is 2018 after all.As far as their customer service or concern for my attitude the manager coldly replied “Well, you signed the agreement.”A good facility, but it feels like dealing with the mafia to cancel. Paying the extra month for a service that I am not receiving is just bad business. You don’t have to steal from your clients to run a fitness center. And please, don’t claim to be an honest company.

For the price, the facility should be immaculately kept. Mens locker rooms are pretty filthy and smell terrible. Dust everywhere in the gym, especially the cardio area.Running year-old ads on Facebook.

The facility is extremely nice, and has a very modern design. Fitness one has probably the most amenities of any public gym in NWA, behinds maybe the Jones center. Everything is still brand new, including their indoor wood court, salt water pool, biking amphitheater, and all of their equipment. If youre looking for a place to try out new exercises this is also the place. They have machines I had never seen in person, such as the Jacobs ladder, assault treadmills, and expresso bikes (look all these up, very cool).The biggest downside to this gym is the monthly price, I think the lowest rate is $40/month. And I know thats a lot to pay but I wanted quality and the best in NWA and thats exactly what I received in my membership at fitness one.So if you read through this review and liked what you read go take a tour and see for yourself why it received its 5 stars. Please be careful when parking in this gym. The parking lot is dark and add to the fact that the location of this gym is unsafe. My car was broken into while parked in their parking lot. To say that their staff is unhelpful is an understatement. Disappointed with how they handled the matter. I will no longer continue to work out here.

Love this gym. I started going to Lowell location and was super excited for the closer fayetteville location to open. The monthly fee is kind of high, but considering the amenities and what I used to pay at World Gym, it really isnt that bad. I like that there are no hidden or annual fees or bogus contracts- I can cancel my membership at any time.I do have some dislikes. It is overcrowded at times (seems like alot of college aged girls come to just hang out in the saunas). I wish there was a cardio section in the womens locker room like in Lowell. Also, I wish the hours were more consistent (same hours every day).
