Katie is amazing! I met her back in 2019 when I decided monthly massages were an important part of my self care. I instantly clicked with her and was devastated/happy for her when she chose to pursue a different career path after the birth of her daughter. I’ve been to a few other massage therapists since she left and had found someone I liked at another facility and had been going to them for the last few months. In January of this year I got the call Katie was returning. I felt torn because I missed Katie but had a new person and decided I was going to alternate months between them. After my first session back with Katie in February I decided to come to her exclusively. She remembered things we talked about back in 2019 which made me feel like she really cared about me as a person/client. She also doesn’t just give me a massage; she listens to my problem areas/concerns and provides a massage based on areas that need the most attention. I can’t recommend her enough!

Katrina was great when performing my prenatal massage! She used perfect pressure to suit my preferences and she periodically checked to make sure I was comfortable! I have arthritis in my neck and a lot of pain. My Doctor had recommended either healing hands or a chiropractor. I chose the chiropractor because my previous experience with one had helped me out a lot with back issues I had. The first week was ok, the second week started out ok and I was in pain by the end of the week, to the point where I had to make another apt, to get me out of pain, and the same thing the following week and I just stopped going as it wasnt helping anymore and put me in more pain then when i went in. Still in a lot of pain, muscle weakness, and overall feeling of not well, my doctor recommends pain management which I know where that is going to lead, I am not a fan of cortisone shots expecially in the neck. I had a MRI so ok now we know where the problem areas are for sure so now where do we go from here? come on we all have seen people on tv getting massages and I am like ok how is that going to help me? I dont need a massage I need to be out of pain. So i booked a apt figured what do i have to lose, they put me with Katie and I was trully amazed at how much better I felt when I left that day. I was almost pain free for 2 days and just went back to my normal routine which I now know I have to ease myself back into things I havent been able to do for awhile.I have been 4 times now and it is amazing how much better I feel, i didnt realize how much your muscles play a big part in your overall well being.I highly recommend them.Katie is awesome she knows what she is doing, and is very easy to talk to and makes you feel relaxed, my pain has eased a lot and muscle weakness has greatly improved. I have recommended several people to them, so if you want a apt you better book one before all my family and friends takes them.

Healing Hands and Body has been such an important part of my healing process!! I’ve only had 2 sessions, yet I can feel a huge difference. Receptionist is friendly and very helpful, office is clean, and the sessions have been amazing.

I’ve been getting massages for years, it’s always been a relaxing thing for me. But after a brain injury with Dysfunctional muscles on my right side, regular massage was not cutting it. After a few sessions with Lydia I was able to sit up under my own power again. I spent months in physical therapy trying to master sitting and Lydia had me up in a few short weeks. She keeps my body functioning and always demonstrates stretching for whatever my problem areas are for that week. She isn’t just great and back and hips, my thumb stopped being able to bend and she got everything back in working order really quickly. She also does a lot of work on my torso in general, which honestly has had a pretty big impact on my asthma. I love the new office, it’s so beautiful and very relaxing. I first went to Healing hands with excruciating hip pain that prevented me from walking normally and sleeping through the night. I was desperate. In the months while I waited for a diagnosis and was eventually scheduled forhip replacement, the skilled hands of my massage therapist, Lydia, provided substantial pain relief. SO thankful for Healing Hands. The entire staff is genuine, full of compassion and provide an individualized plan for each client at a great price. Lydia does an amazing job providing relief from pain but her speciality is scar care. I had kidney cancer and had my kidney and adrenaline gland removed via “big cut.” Until she explained it to me, I had no idea how important it is to massage a scar easing pain and adjusting blood flow. She came up with a plan and it has significantly decreased my pain. What I really appreciate too is how all therapists coordinate figuring out which therapist provides the best treatment. Lydia handled my scar treatment, Brenda (owner) specializes in neck and shoulder pain, and Abby specializes in lymphatic massage after surgery. She does this with light pressure and long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase the flow of lymph and reduce toxins. Not only do you get specialized care that truly heals you, Brenda goes out of her way to wish you a Happy Birthday. Also, when my dad passed away unexpectedly this summer, she sent me a beautiful card with a note expressing her condolences to me. Not only is this a wonderful place of healing and relaxation but a gift certificate is the perfect gift for anyone. I can’t think of a better way to express your love for friends or family members.

Lydia is the best prenatal and postnatal masseuse. She helped me make it through my third trimester with horrible sciatica. Now she’s helping me with posturing and tightness due to breastfeeding. I just had my first but not last appointment today. I was very pleased and my needs were met. I went in in pain and left loose and relaxed. I need more than just a deep tissue which I have had over the years. I need someone who really understands the body and how it should work and how to spot what is not working correctly. Well this staff has the expertise to not only spot it but they know what to do to help heal it! I recommend Healing Hands Body Therapy.

As a PT and group fitness instructor, my livelihood depends on my body functioning properly, so I was devastated when lower back pain crept into my glute, hamstring, all the way down to my calf, completely debilitating my range of motion and almost making it unbearable to stand. In desperation, with no real expectations, I made a medical massage appointment with Brenda at Healing Hands. When I described my pain to her, she knew immediately which nerves needed to be triggered and release and she had me at nearly full range of motion within 30 minutes. The only way I can describe my experience is incredible! I can bend down to tie my shoes for the first time in weeks and I absolutely cannot wait to get in for my next appointment. It is such a good feeling knowing that I dont have to live in pain - I cannot recommend her services enough.

I suffer from chronic severe Migraines, a friend told me about Healing Hands and gave me a card. I made an appointment and have been going every week since. Brenda and staff are absolutely a blessing, my migraines have decrease with her help and before the doctors and neurologists couldnt tell me why or how to help me get rid or just reduce the frequency of my migraines. I have been having them since 2012 and its so uplifting to have actual progress and noticeable difference. I contacted Brenda for low back problems that had been persistent for a two years. I also had a few other issues from training to include hip flexor mobility and tension in my knee.I worked with Brenda every week for two months before I had to leave the area. It has changed my life for the better! Seriously, mobility, comfort and strength have all gone up. Over the course of our weekly sessions, Brenda and I were able to share different knowledge and experience about the body and how it works.
