My family’s been without AC in August in the South for a week even though they’ve sent someone to come “fix” it
They have no idea what they are doing with the ac units and just kick out possible answers then charge you when nothing is fixed.
Replaced air conditioner. Great job!!
I wish negative stars were possible. This group has been to my home three times to fix the AC and cant get it right. I guess the owner has been out here twice. I know nothing about HVAC and Im sure i have a better understanding than he does.
My management company schedule a repair appointment with this company due to my AC unit going out upstairs. The first day we called we immediately confronted with what I’m guessing is the owner asking “HOW WE GOT THIS NUMBER” Um it’s definitely on google! The next morning he calls and says he in route the entire time him and I’m guessing again the “Son” showed NO CUSTOMER SERVICE opening and slamming your doors just rude. Tells me he needs to order a part will be back Saturday morning. 7:30 on sat morning they ring the door bell less than 10 seconds later they BEGIN TO BAM on the door as if they were the police. No courtesy call NO we on the way call not even a call the night before to tell us they have the part and what time to expect them in the morning. I address the “The Owner” he looks at me with no apologies, no understanding, but just “You want me to leave because I could have let you and your family be hot til Monday I’m doing you a favor” wow!!!! Why not call like you did the day before with an ETA!! This company has no idea of what A professional services is especially when you have contracts with major rentals companies. If you have the funds to go to Walmart and buy fans until you can get professional services please do. Because Emperial Services and Son IS THE WORSE!!!
So lets unpack this adventure.#1 The technician said the transformer was burned out. I tested it and had it tested.(It wasnt burned out)#2 The technician also said the ductwork is bad and of a critical nature. The ductwork is a little older but nothing wrong with it.#3 The technician doing a slow drive by and not even getting out of the van (this is when he said that transformer was burned out) I was waiting by the front door and watched him do so is terribly unprofessional.#4 leaving the unit with the thermostat wires pulled and a mess of fuses laying around is also extremely unprofessional.#5 just got off the phone with the technician he said we tore all the wires out ourselves, all that was done to the unit was the door was taken off (I didnt tell him that I have before and after pictures).I definitely will not be recommending this company.
This company was contracted through Lowes for the repair of our refrigerator. We had a call window of 9-5, and was NEVER contacted by Emperial Services. They dont answer their phone when calling them. Please make sure if you go through Lowes or Home Depot that they DO NOT use this company.I told Lowes that they need to know who they are contracting with for service on their appliances. This makes Lowes really bad.
This company has come to my home twice to repair my AC through my home warranty company. Today, I had an appointment for my 3rd repair for the same issue. No one showed up, no one called. I tried to call the company to find out what was going on multiple and got no answer. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Very poor.
Both technicians showed up at time promised. Diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within 45 minutes. Great service and got our house cool again. Truly life savers as it is almost 90 degrees. Would recommend to friends and family!
We were assigned this company through our home warranty. The original tech came out within a few days to assess the broken dryer and I was very hopeful from that visit that this vendor would be good even though the reviews were poor. From there, it went down hill. I had to wait on parts to come in, then we scheduled the repair and the tech never showed up and never called. I tracked down someone in the office who reported that the tech never even came in to pick up the parts. After waiting a while longer, I was told another tech would come a few days later to make the repair. When that day came around I was told the part was broken and another one would have to be ordered. Overall I wasted 3 weeks with this vendor before I complained to the home warranty and they moved the ticket to another vendor. It was also a huge inconvenience because this is in a vacation rental and I had to notify multiple guests of the broken dryer and also asked them to leave for appts that no one ever showed up for. Poor communication, unprofessional vendor.
I had an appointment with them last week. They never called or showed up. I called and left 2 messages. They have never responded. For this, I would not recommend them.
Technician showed up for our Maytag Electric Dryer looked it over said he knew what was wrong why it would not heat and would order parts and would take 7 to 10 days and he would call. 24 days went by never heard a word from them so I called Lowes Corporate Office and they could not get them to call. So I downloaded a book on our dryer from internet with parts diagram and instruction like repair technicians used and and got part number of heater element and I also got a thermostat and over temp cut off switch. I ordered them and in less than 24 hours picked them up in Lake City Georgia and repaired our dryer myself 4 weeks after having hardware surgically put in my hip. I still havent heard from Emperial Service Inc and if you know anybody in Fayetteville Georgia where Emperial is located ask them about what QUALITY of SERVICE they provide. I would give them a minus!
If I could give this place negative stars I would give as many as I can. They are contracted with American Home Shield and both companies are a scam. No calls, no appointments, no follow through. Pass the blame on each other, so I really cant tell WHO has my money but Im going to let the BBB figure it out

If I could give zero stars I would. Our AC went out on a Saturday, made a claim with our warranty company who assigned Emperial. Since they are closed on weekends I was patient to wait till Monday. Called them was told that the order was received and scheduling would be reaching out. Monday afternoon I was able to schedule our appointment for 10-1 tuesday. Fine. Took the day off work to be home for the appointment. In the middle of our appointment window they called to cancel/reschedule for the next day. Their excuse was that one tech was overbooked and the 2nd was in Savannah. Why even schedule an appointment then of you knew you didnt have enough techs on duty. This week outside temps have been in the high 90s and my house has been in the mid 80s and will not cool down no matter how many fans I have going and doing everything I can to keep it cool. Do not use this company if youre assigned them call your warranty company and request someone else.
Showed for scheduled appointment. Technician was in home less than two minutes, just long enough to take 3 pictures. He told me he knew just what the problem was and needed to order the part. Two weeks and still havent heard from them. I called and was told the tech couldnt work in the environment (dirty home, pet smells and cigarette smell). That should not be a problem because techs have to work in worse conditions (or maybe send another tech!) So, no communication and no parts ordered. I would give zero stars if I could but thats not an option. Home Depot has been notified and is investigating further.
They came out through my home Warranty company to replace air handler for air unit. After they replaced it, unit still not working properly. Home Warranty company called them back and they refuse to come out and Warranty their work. So now Im stuck finding another company to come behind them and fix what they did. I would not recommend them to anyone, the company is suspect and does not back their own work.
