Shanelle was amazing! I have been trying to find an appointment for my handsome black son to get his hair done, and we couldn’t get in til a month later or more. He had dreads and other places said we would need to just shave it off. His hair was unruly! She fit us in, was great with my son. She took the time to look closely and communicate options. She worked her magic with meticulous creativity. I’m a very happy customer. Thank you!!

Great barber shop. I have had my hair cut by most of the staff there and they are amazing. It has a more personal feel which is why I always go to a barber instead of a big chain hair cut places.

We’ve worked with a few barbers. Harley was friendly and engaging. He didn’t say anything inappropriate and he made sure my son was happy with his cut. We’ve also worked with Julian, again, always friendly and detailed in his work. The only reason I gave a 4* vs 5* is because you may have to wait a while longer than you anticipated, but you’ll be glad you did, if you had the time.

They did a great job on both our hair cuts and my beard! Id highly recommend Tanner and Harley! Thanks guys for giving us the traditional barber shop experience!

I have been coming here for a while, and all the barbers they take their time to do your hair cut right. There a wait usually to get the hair cut. But the wait is worth it to get a higher quality hair cut from the talented barbers there. I Recommend Julian or Morgan for haircuts.

This place knows how to give a good hair cut for men. I have such a hard time finding a place that can do a good fade! I recommend bringing a picture in to show what you like. Point and case, I always walk away smiling.

My boyfriend loves to go to this place. They are usually really good but on Sunday they are short on staff and you will wait too long to get a haircut. For the majority of them customer service is #1 but when you have a waiting room full of people and only two people working and you decide to go eat instead of taking care of your customers that is a zero in my book!!!! I gave it a 3 star due to that one recent incident. Otherwise, they are usually top notch!!!

Been coming here for over 2 years. Great haircuts and take their time with almost every barber. Had a very odd experience with Harley, was extremely rude the entire cut, multiple demeaning comments. Actually shocked me cause I usually get such great service here. Probably wont come back. If he worked for my company, I’d fire him in a heartbeat for it.

My husband and I are very impressed with Archie’s Barber shop. They take their time, and anytime my husband has gotten a cut and/or a shave, he’s always very pleased. They also cut my 2 year old’s hair and were so patient with him. Everyone there is super friendly. I highly recommend Archie’s.

Got a shave and a haircut from Morgan. Just waked in without calling ahead but was served promptly and only had to wait a few minutes. Super great waiting room. Took my son in for the first time and total time for appointment was probably 35 minutes, 15-20 of that was spent fading his hair.....BEST 35 MINUTES AND $14.00 IVE EVER SPENT!!! The barber was so sweet to my son, the atmosphere, though a bit intimidating when first walking in, turned out to be very relaxing and the barbers were so easy going and welcoming! I wont take my son anywhere else now that we have been to Archies! :) **************

Ive been coming here over a year now, and love it. Ive had Julian, Morgan, and i mainly go with harley. They all are super friendly, take time to ensure a quality cut, and really put thought into how your cut will impact your appearance, Julien was great when i had head hair, and Harley is amazing with helping me blend the bald and beard look i now sport. Great place!

First time I went here I had a good experience second time not so good, waited over an hour for a hair cut, another gentlemen walks in that the 2 women working obviously knew as they kept talking to him after not saying one word to me for the hour I had already waited. One of the ladies cutting hair finished shortly after the new guy arrived and rather than taking me next as I had been there waiting the longest. She called her friend back who had maybe been there 5 minutes. Dont go here unless you know them, or unless you want to waste all afternoon waiting for a haircut.

I would have kept my 5 star reviews, but lately, their service is less than a one star review. Their online check in is horrible. Twice now Ive checked in, the first I go there as it tells me to go and I end up waiting over an hr. Yesterday, I sign in and I get there as it tells me to go. When I walk in they tell me Were done for the day What? I signed in. They basically told me T.S. Too many other shops Ill take my business and they maybe get treated a little better.

The barbers are good, but they need to fire whoever set up their website. Julian and tanner are my favorite 2 barbers, but since the website is such a joke I can’t find a way to reserve an appointment online.

I found this place on Yelp because going to Hill AFB was further than I wanted to drive. I was extremely pleased with the haircut, I highly recommend this place! I like my hair short, so a barber is the best way to go. Often, places like Hill AFB do not spend the time, so I have all these stray hairs that are longer that pop up after the cut. This place took the extra time, I had none; what a great haircut. I loved the customer service, the owner clearly cares about her customers. I have a new place to get my haircut!

Morgan does a great job of cutting hair. She is very personable and pays close attention to detail. Overall a clean, great shop and theres this dude named Tanner there whos a badass.

Not kid friendly, they are hesitant to work and will delay to work on pre teen age children or able children. Has gown down hill since it opened. Support local barber shops!!! not chains that are overpriced for mediocre customer service.

Not having the ability to set an appointment is a big drawback coming to Archies. I understand the walk in business model, but when I come in and you take 3 people ahead of me, thats an issue. I did write down that I wanted a specific person to cut my hair, so the other barber taking 1 person in front of me isnt a big deal, but you should always try to operate on a FIFO (First In First Out) model. If you finish with that 1 person, it might be a good idea to ask if Im set on having a specific barber, or if I want to cut down on an hour of waiting by opting for someone else. The only reason I had even written down that I wanted a specific barber is because they were the only person Id had cut my hair that was workinng. I would have gladly taken the offer to have someone else cut my hair if it meant I didnt have to waste 1 1/2 hours of my day.Ill be finding another barber that takes appointments so I dont get bypassed by someone because theyre a regular client.

Archies is a right proper Barbershop with fun and laid back barbers that are also highly skilled... you will get a great hair cut or shave here for sure no matter what your age is... the only issue you may run in to at Archies is some of the extremely uptight and douchey clients in the chairs.... most of the clients join in on the fun and light spirited atmosphere of the joint but there are a few douchebags that that dont understand the banter of a traditional Barbershop and should probably be getting their hair cut with a Flowbee at home or at a Great Clips instead of a real barbershop anyways.... I definitely recommend Archies if you want a real deal Barbershop experience in Davis County go to Archies.

Archies is the best Barber in Northern Utah. Archies keeps expanding due to the great barbers and an owner who is loved by her staff and works just as hard (harder) then her staff. Go! You will love it. Hot Towel straight razor shaves are the best!

This is the best barbers i have ever been to, the barbers there are the best of the best they get everything right even when you dont know what you what i would highly recommend this to anyone i have to all of my friends. My favorite barber is julian medina he is the best i have ever had and he pays attention to ever detail i would ask for him.
