I was given their name by Majestic Tree Removal Service. They said that they were the best. They are fantastic. Came out, evaluated all of our trees and gave us a program for feeding and protecting our trees. Im very pleased and they can diagnosis if I start to have any problems with trees or shrubs. Great personnel in the office and technicians in the field

The technician arrived on the correct day and was very professional & courteous in his customer approach. I gave the visit 4 stars (instead of 5) because it did not seem to me that the tech was on site for more than 20 minutes. A ‘checklist’ of specific services he completed would have been very helpful. Steve, the owner of the business is a highly skilled and well experienced certified arborist. He took time to explain what needs to be done, educated us about each trees, even though his initial visit was to inspect our fallen tree. My husband and I are both extremely pleased with his service as well as his professional knowledge. Since he went above and beyond in every way, we decided to hire his company, the Contenders to take care of our trees annually so they will stay healthy for many years. I highly recommend the Contenders!

Finally a service/company that does what they say with great results! We’ve been with Contenders for 4 years and love the way our lawn and trees look. We especially like Contenders expertise and insight on how to manage our landscape. Never trying to add services and only make recommendations that would improve our lawn and tree health.

Service was performed 3/20/20 ... (Early spring fert). Granular material was applied and it looked like your tech did a good job of covering our area. However, I’m wondering how effective absorption will be, given our cold temps on the day of application and days thereafter.

I own a professional landscape company that contracts Contenders for many of our customer properties. We have found they do more than just treat the lawns. There are VERY educated in lawn care, insecticides and funguses that damage trees/shrubs. Their prices are great too!

We use Contenders for our HOA to treat several homes at once. Anytime we have an issue they are quick to have someone out to correct it or advise. Laura at the office is wonderful to work with. Great customer service goes a long way with me!

This was my first time using Contenders. I hired them to feed my evergreens. They were very responsive to my phone calls and inquiries. They were very punctual. I can’t yet comment on quality and value until perhaps next spring or summer to see if any results from tree feeding. I’m hopeful I will see a difference in my trees.

I am with contenders for the past two years. One of the trees in the front yard was shedding leaves early in the season and dying from an a disease. I got Contenders help for deep root feeding and spraying the trees for diseases. Trees look healthy now. I would definitely recommend.

This is my third lawn treatment service. Honestly I’ve been a little dissatisfied in their service and quality of product. I see more weeds in the lawn than with other services. Also I think they service the lawn on their schedule despite if it had rained or if we have already had a frost. I may be shopping for a different company.
