Hello Owner, I was thinking about using your facility. You appear to have a lot of great reviews regarding your cleanliness, and machines. However, there is one rude staff ( an older lady) that appears to treat people very badly per some customers. I just wanted to know if she is still working there, because I do not take well to disrespect? I understand many businesses are in need of employees, but I hope that you resolved the issue by letting her go after so many complaints? I just left 4 stars because I cant give you a bad rating and I have not been there yet.🤔

Prices have doubled in 4 months. Why so much? 3 queen size comforters to be washed and dried $75.00?

I’ve been going to little Valley for 15 years and I’ve always had a good experience. Today I pick up my laundry and it was double the price. They weighed my towels while they were wet so much heavier than dry.(they charge by the pound)This is the way they charged me, the owner said they have new policies now. Double the price! SeriouslyI will wash my shops towels myself now.

Iv been going to little valley laundromat for almost two years now. Marcelle and Maggie have become family to me. Treat me like family every single time I go in. Without question Marcelle sees me pull up and run out to help me with my laundry since I have two small children. Helps load my laundry and even puts it in the dryer for me without even asking. Goes over and beyond and makes sure everything is clean and smells wonderful ❤️Marcelle and Maggie will be part of my family even after I move and have my own washer and dryer soon.My family will be sad not seeing them weekly.Both deserve a raise for all that they do for the place.It’s sad to see people saying anything bad about them.I have never had a problem once...reading one of the post below is mind blowing to me.Locking the door is necessary at night. Anyone at any time could come in thats not welcome and she wasn’t only protecting herself but whom ever els was inside.But anyways this place deserves more then 5 stars ⭐️Clean,respectful,great prices,awesome employees!

Highest price per pound laundry service in the entire area I used to come here weekly..quality of services not worth the price at all wont be returningRespone to owner...soap stained sheets always wrinkles and 1/3 employees can fold a fitted sheet.

This place is terrible. They close early without notifying people washing. I live close so myself and my boyfriend goes home in between washing due to having children. Washed a load lastnight with my kids coats in it. When I returned, they were closed. Almost an hour early. I called today, they have my clothes in a bag and not offering any type of accommodations for inconveniencing me. But tells me when I come pick them up, I should put them back in the dryer but use more than one because it’s a lot of clothes. I will never return. I will rather wait until my own washing appliances get here or go out of my way to a different laundromat.

I love the huge machines. I can wash 6 loads in 25 minutes for $7 and dry it completely in 18 minutes for under $1

This laundromat does have new machines. It is clean and staff is friendly.The manager needs to educate the staff as well as post how hot the wash machines and dryers get on their hottest settings. They also need to post how they clean the inside of the machines and what exact products they use. Especially now with the virus. All most all public places are detailing their increased efforts for SANITIZING their spaces. This place NEEDS to also. People need to know and be assured ! ! !

I really like coming to this laundromat. It’s clean and affordable. My only complaint is the lady that works there, I believe her name is Marcel. She asks like she is the owner of the laundromat and needs a attitude adjustment. She stares at you while you are loading your clothes into the washing machine. If you are talking on your phone, she is all into your conversation. (Mind your business). I really like coming there on Sunday’s because Lon is very nice and doesn’t act nothing like her.....

First off let me say that for the price and size of the machines I really like this place. It is a very quaint place to wash clothes just like I like it. However the attendants there this one lady in particular has the absolute nastiest attitude. I usually wash on Sunday but I went today after work. This is not the first time this lady has gotten boisterous with me pertaining to me washing my clothes. Once before she made me take my clothes out of the 4.5 load dryer because she had to dry a blanket. She constantly watches me and my wife every-time I come to wash when she is there. Today I hadn’t even poured the the detergent in the washer and she told me that’s too much. I do understand that there are signs that read how much detergent is to be used. She literally got an attitude and I didn’t even put the detergent in the machine. I proceeded to tell her that that’s no way to talk to someone and there is a better way to address the issue. After I continue to load the washer she told me that I can go somewhere else if I have a problem with the RULES. Once again this is not the first time she has been out right disrespectful to me. I will go as far as to speaking with someone from her management to resolve this issue. I would love to give 5 stars because this is a great place but with that lady at the counter makes a no pleasing experience. I hope her attitude is fixed.

The place is small but very clean and has an attendant on duty I went on a Saturday morning so busy and crowded but I suppose thats a Saturday morning clean restroom and machines

Tonight was the final straw with one of the employees, so I will be going elsewhere. I arrived to pick up my clothes at 8:45pm and Marcelle had the door locked and would not social distance like I asked her to when she opened it.She guarded the door and locked and unlocked it each load I carried out and I got into an argument with her over it, because I wanted to social distance and she would not respect that.You can view camera to see how it was not necessary to have to do that. It was a control issue, nothing else. I feel like I should make a complaint to the state as well, because this is not the only time I have requested to social distance, and sometimes the door was held open without a mask on, but even with a mask, I just want to come in and out without someone standing next to me while I carry my clothes out. The other lady who works there (Laura) honors my request when she is trying to be helpful holding the door for me and does not need to guard and lock the door while you are getting your laundry out. Its just not normal for Marcelle to do that, and during covid social distancing should be a priority when you can.This is not the first time I have had issues with Marcelle and do try to go when she is not working. I know there have been numerous complaints from other customers and it does not get better. It seems employees are ok with closing before 8:30pm.We went last week and the guy working would not let us in at 8:27pm (at the latest) to dry clothes only. He is easy to be around, but that was really unfair to not let us dry when we were there before the 8:30 deadline.He said it was 8:30, but the clock is fast. We would have been out before 9pm because we only dry and sign says open until 9:30.Marcelle use to get mad if I came in at 8:20pm.Right after that the big clock inside came down and she changed it to be 6 or 7 minutes fast. Owner is nice, but these things are losing him business. Other than that place is clean and dryers usually work well.

Was watched like a hawk, had to go outside while clothes were washing and drying, not allowed to fold your clothes inside, so your clothes are all wrinkled when you get home, ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! Prices for washers are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Positively, first and last time to come here.

On Sunday l visited little Valley Tub signs we posted over windows and doors to respect the Corona V. wear mask upon entering laundry Mat. And No waiting inside for your clothing to finish cycles, please wait in your vehicles. Most people honored this request. Until a large utility van carrying about 8 to 10 men entered the parking lot. The men went into the laundry mat it was very crowded inside. None of the men wore mask. I asked the employee of little valley why were they allowed to stay inside without mask? The employee relied to me they worked for little valley, and they had no where else to go. I saw them all get out of the Van in the parking lot.

I had been using another laundromat on Middlebelt in Farmington Hills and stopped going there because of high prices, dirty driers and rude owners. I was so happy when I started using Little Valley. Their machines are clean, staff are usually helpful and courteous and the prices are better than other local laundry mats. I go there to wash my white comforters and have been pleased every time. The whole place is very clean but small. The size is not a problem though, there is plenty of seating and it had a cozy feel. It is true the older woman who works there can be short tempered and grumpy but you can ignore her. The younger woman who works there is awesome. I did find out the larger washers can overflow with suds with too much soap. She was really nice about it and helped me out. Maybe the older woman could learn some customer service skills and have a nice vacation so as to not chase away customers. I like the place.

I had not been to this laundromat since they reopened. I was very surprised to see how nice it is now. All the machines are brand new, it was brightly lit inside and very clean. They had vending machines with drinks, snacks and laundry supplies, a change machine and a big TV, and restrooms. The woman who was working as the attendant was very helpful and courteous. I appreciated how easy my visit was and will be back.

I drove around for close to an hour looking for somewhere to clean my clothes. I ran into this little laundromat that was well maintained. Very clean with the friendliest staff I’ve met it a long time, especially Marshay(or Marchell) she was cool. Very pleasant person and very helpful. I would definitely return

Visited this location a few times. It’s too bad you’re not given an option to choose zero stars. After today I will never return. Female employee is loud spoken and rude! When I arrived I parked near the side door with a handful and she routed me to the front door apparently the door was being closed due to the high winds. I observed her several times using the door to let other customers in and out. I had an issue with one of the machines. When I called for her assistance she immediately loudly told me how the machines operate. I was concerned about there not being any soap and very little water in the machine. She continue to repeat the same thing over and over needless to say the problem never got resolved but she found it necessary to discuss my issue with another customer . after today I will not return to this laundromat and I sincerely hope that the owner of this establishment talks to her and advise her to use better customer service as this is not the first encounter I’ve had with this individual .

Its a nice laundromat...the attendant however was very rude and not helpful. Could use some customer service experience, maybe she would not be so rude to people. I would do my laundry here again but not with her in attendance. I was here on 1/9/20 around 2pm.

This place is great. I can do 2 weeks of laundry in about an hour. The attendant is very helpful. Great place to get your clothes clean.

I took a whole tote tubs worth of laundry here and the nice lady had it done in only a few hours. She was very polite and they even folded my clothes (surprising because it was a lot). Great service! will be back

Good customer service

This was the best place in the area to do your clothes. First couple times can be awkward if the sassy little old lady is in there and doesnt know you, but after going a few times its nothing but a calm, clean atmosphere.

After reading the others previous review I thought that may be the short hair older lady was being racist but maybe she is just a miserable person, I came here at 815 just to dry my load placed my load in dryer after which I went to my car to sit and wait as I do when I have to do laundry any way the attendant decided to yell out something about me leaving, so I replied with Im not leaving Im sitting in my car and said thank you the attendant decided she would lock the front door so that i would have to wall around in the rain to the side door, her plan did not work because another had to leave and she unlock the front door. I have never had a bad experience at a laundry mat of all places but definitely will not come back to this one

I drop my laundry off there about every week and a half. They wash fold and hang for me. The prices are wonderful and the staff is excellent.

I dont need to be told how to wash my clothes. Attendants harassed me and other customers about using 1/4th cup in the dryers and refer you to the owner. Im guessing the owner is the driving force. Well look here owner, you dont have special washers. You have the same washers that every laundry mat has. I have never had a washing machine over flow with two cups and never will have one overflow with 2 cups. I am not an idiot. Id rather go elsewhere and I will.

Its unfortunate that this business dont realize that they are losing business due to the grumpy old lady. It already looks out-dated and most people drive by it, so youll think theyll appreciate the small amount of customers that they have. I understand that staff are people and have things going on in their life, but you have to still have a sense of professionalism. Theyll close soon.

Clean and prices are better than others. I have washed my clothes here for over a year. Lon is great he is very friendly. The older lady attendant is so rude! She definitely needs to take a class on manners and respect.I came in to see if the large washers were being used so I would know where to take my clothes. She very rudely told me I had to have a mask on. I knew that I just wanted to know where to take my clothes. 2 of the $7 washers was available, I started putting my clothes in the washers and she told me hateful that I couldnt sort them, it was posted on the door! I told her they were sorted and there was a couple items in the wrong bag. She needs to watch how she speaks to people because in this day and time she might get shot! Some people dont take others disrespecting them like this. Just saying.I spend at least $25 - $30 every other week there. I dont want to go to another place because I like your laundromat. Im definitely not the only one she speaks rudely to....its ridiculous she thinks she can speak to people like she does. I love doing laundry and she is making my experience a bad one.You need to ask her questions and see how she responds...Ive looked at your reviews and there are a lot of people complaining about her.

Im getting tired of the posted business hours not being followed. I wanted to drop off some stuff for the lady who works Thursday mornings, and the place was closed and locked before 9:10pm, sometimes its closed by 8:30 PM and Ive gone there at 8 and was told I was too late to wash, even when the sign says last load at 8:30. I fell and cracked my hip and am having trouble getting around so I wanted to treat myself. Maybe if ALL the employees were nice to people, they would have more customers.

The attendant barked out instructions and then proceeded to repeat them at least 3 times as if we were deaf. I called her on it and she screamed at me.We were spending about $15 that trip so the owner should really think about hiring better quality and nicer help because I will not go back there.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

The attendant at this laundromat is an absolute witch (and I’m being nice). She was rude and spoke to my sister and I like we were retarded. I thought she was prejudice, but maybe thats just how she is period. She was extremely patronizing, didnt speak when we entered the laundromat, and continued to talk down to us the entire time we were there. When I didnt know how to work one of the 100 year old washers she rolled her eyes and yelled like they were new and easy to figure out. I only had to use the washers, because my washer was down at the time, but if that ever happens again, I will NEVER use this laundromat. If she is simply the attendant and not the owner, they should find a new attendant. Some people should not work with the public.

The lady at this laundromat was very rude. She was sitting in front of the large dryer and wanted me to spend more money by using two smaller dryers. All this because she didnt want to get too hot! Come spend your hard earned money here if you want to be talked down to and treated like a second class citizen. Surprised they didnt make me do laundry at the back of the mat.

There is a older lady who looks like she hates her job, instructs people on how to wash, watch your moves make you want to take your money else where! Owner hire better staff!!! Only plus is its a very clean facility thats why it got 1 star from me.

Good experience today

The machines are clean and the dryers work. Sometimes you get lucky and the staff is pleasant and helpful, other times you end up being having to spend your time locked up and being glared at by a person who surely must have suffered through some horrible experience. Seriously lady, im sorry you had to endure whatever tragic event that makes you interact with other people in such a sour and negative manner but you may want to try and put off the attitude that yosh to receive in return. So if you happen to check these reviews in between staring daggers into the back of my neck and checking the locks on the doors, and you need a friend to talk to or just want a hug, please feel free to approach me or my wife and maybe we can begin your path of healing

One lady is mean that works there told me my washer was overloaded to take my clothes out. I said no my clothes washed just fine then when done told me I couldnt use the large dryers no one was using them
