They started my locs, I still get retwisted here. I love getting my hair washed and they will def make you laugh here. Super busy but very professional. Love the new location.

I saw this review before mine and I found it to be quite funny because I was sitting in one of the chairs as they asked this woman to come in for her appointment. After hearing the conversation, I decided to leave my own review because these ladies are awesome! Even through a relocation they were still able to provide healthy clean and professional services. I dont like to spend my time doing this but after the review was read outloud I felt I needed to speak up. Keep doing a good job ladies. If a client is awarethat you moved... theres no reason as to why you should be showing up at the old location expecting services.... some people are simple ridiculous. This was my first time visiting this shop and my third attempt at starting locs. I had my starter locs installed by Star and I absolutely love them!! I finally got exactly what I wanted parting and size wise. Very satisfied!! Star had great energy and we had a great time. She also sanitized everything before using it with me. Would highly recommend!

It was my first there and it was a very good experience, Yesha did loc conversions on my hair. She has very good conversations and we watched a very good movie while getting my hair. She was very good on the pricing with me, I just want to say thank you for the experience with you at your shop. She also taught me other things about my hair that I didn’t even know but I’m very happy with the results of hair and how it turned out. So I will be back and scheduling for my second appointment. Overall, okay experience. The young lady that she had assisting her was very nice. But I felt like my wash could’ve been better (especially with having locs). I’m rating because since my retie I’ve lost 3 whole locs. Which, in all honestly are 50% my fault. When I reached out to the salon, I advised her that I had some thinning in my locs. And I also told her that taking on a new job I was super stressed, and I could tell which locs suffered the most. My retie was entirely too tight to the point it was little knots at the base of my interlocks. On top of the thinning I already had. Also with interlocs it’s very important not to end in that “Y” pattern since I’ve been told causes holes in the locs. All of them are like this. I just wish that if my locs were bad, tell me. If some are hanging on and skinnier than the others why not advise your client? I had been searching as a transfer client for 3 months before I settled with this shop.

(THIS POST DESERVES ABSOLUTELY NO STARS) This is by far the worst hair experience I have ever had ! For starters she is very rude and very condescending, the prices you pay for Yaesha’s services aren’t worth $1.00 ! I asked for extensions that were able to be colored and come to find out the hair was synthetic/Vivica Fox’s brand, which we all know is NOT REAL! If I would have known she was using that brand of hair I would have definitely never agreed to this! $400/$500 later ! Also, don’t count on her having great customer service and getting back to customers in a timely manner... not happening ! Very disappointed and dissatisfied with these so called locticians. Never again, please go else where ! I was warned and did not listen. Black people, we really need to do better smh! SAVE YOUR COINS !!!!!!

You pull hair too much if you know someone hair is thinning why pull it and stretch it out and put it into a ponytail you were literally pulling my hair too much. It’s very hard to believe that you care for your clients I’ve been nothing but nice and kind. I appreciate you trying to help people with their hair problems but your simply adding to it now. Like where the advice what I should and shouldn’t do. I’ll take my money to someone who cares or just cut it off at this point. unprofessional and lack of passion. Good luck on future endeavors I guess.

Scheduled an appt for my son, had to reschedule to which I’ve called numerous times. On the day of the appt I spoke with someone who said they’d send me a link to reschedule as I’d already put in my deposit. And I stated a few times I would pay another fee for late cancellation, as I called at 9am to cancel a 4pm appt. but didn’t actually SPEAK to someone til 2pm, despite calling as much as I did. I’ve called for days with no response and never received a link or call back. So they got my deposit with no service. Extremely unprofessional, I wouldn’t recommend.

She is very professional & clearly cares about what the customer wants & goes above & beyond in making sure you are happy with your service ... Yesha is extremely passionate and driven with her services and business. This was my first time with locs and my consultation with her allowed us to connect, for her to see my hair and know what she’s working with. All I did was took a picture of what I wanted and she ran with it. She purchased the hair for me so I didn’t mistakenly purchase the wrong thing. On appointment day, once she got started, she dove right in and she is super fast. I would definitely be returning for additional services with her. I would absolutely recommend calling for an appointment.

My first time as a client to Yesha and my very last time. Though she was a very nice person she does not know how to do faux locs at all. They were too big, loose and not what I asked for and took over 9 hours. I showed her a picture of the size I wanted and still didnt get that when she said I got you.I was not happy at all and it was definitely the waste of my money and time because I went home and took them right out because thats how bad it looked.I guess I should have taken a picture for proof of how terrible it turned out but I was so ticked off. I paid her because she spend all that time but if she truly cared about how unhappy I was she would have not charged me what she charged me especially when I said I will be going home taking them out because this is not what I asked for.

This lady came to start trouble. I am a client too.The lady felicia came in that left a review below. Felicia looked at the hair. She didnt want that hair and fussed for 15 to 20 minutes that the hair was too shiny and straight. Told Yesha she was wrong. But Yesha showed her on order that it said shiny hair . There ahe shouldnhave said wait and get the right hair . She said do it anyway. She looked at photos to say what she wanted and Yesha put 3 locs on her head. Yesha went to bathroom and she showed me her loc and Yesha wasnt even finished and she said it was too thick. And I showed her my locks and let her pick what size she wanted and she picked a loc and I said tell Yesha that and she said thats okay itll be fine. Yesha even went to get the hair she asked for in middle of appt to accomodate her and she sat there and still got her hair done. This lady was trying to cause problems. If she can go home and take her hair out. She couldve ordered the right hair and waited to get it right.

First off let me start out by saying Yesha is Freaking Awesome for sure.. I have been growing my hair for a decade at least and never had it done professionally once!!! So it was a lengthy undertaking to be sure.. lol.. A full restoration from scratch and I walked in with low expectations for myself because I knew it was a mess.. So My expectations were met and superseded beyond my wildest beliefs.. I was amazed at the outcome and she is definitely the best and I recommend her to all and this is coming from someone who has inquired about my hair in the past and was met with only suggestions of cutting my hair completely off and starting over🤷🏽‍♂️.. On top of all of that I had a complete blast with her I could literally spend the day in the atmosphere she provides and she is an Awesome person to boot. Very down to earth, real and just a pleasure to be around. An ultimate Professional with a skill set to match and very knowledgeable and you can tell she takes pride in her work and has perfected her craft over years and years of consistency in her work. Yesha is the best in the business! I was unsure of getting my locs in the beginning, and she just encouraged me and lifted me up and made me feel like a queen! For real. Its been 4 months now and I LOVE my locs. Im so glad I got them. She does excellent hair, yes. But what makes her stand out from the rest is that she just makes you feel at home, you know? We talked, watched some movies, ordered some food, had a good time. Shes so down-to-earth, and she just gives you this kind of encouragement and energy that makes you walk out of there feeling fierce and confident! Highly recommended.

Yesha is the BEST! Very fast, professional, and high spirits. My dreads are fresh, hydrated, and fit me perfectly. I would highly recommend her to anyone currently with locs or wanting to transition into them.

I got starter locs done by Yesha. She did a great job. I got pencil sized twists with diamond parting and they look so nice. The partings are very precise and dont look sloppy at all. The twists themselves all look uniform in size too. She tried her best to keep conversation flowing. (Im awkward so it didnt last long. Sorry! Lol) once she was done she told me about maintaining them until my next visit, and she told me how nice they look already. She seems to really enjoy what she does. She charged me the same as the quoted price and she has a Square for debit/credit payments which is nice. Overall, she made me feel comfortable and my hair looks really nice. Id recommend her to anyone considering starter locs. Thank you Yesha! :)

Yesha is awesome. She makes you feel right at home. I had a great time getting my loc extensions. She was consistent and on time. Had great conversation and most importantly she makes you feels good about whatever change your doing with your hair. I definitely recommend anyone in the Detroit (metro) area to get their hair done by Yesha. I had a great time. And my hair is perfect. Just how I wanted it to be.

Extremely dissatisfied. Had an appointment scheduled for 2:00 to see Yesha to get a wash and retwist. I arrived and she was doing a client’s hair and I had to wait until 4:15 to get my hair started. (I saw her for my original twist weeks earlier which she was also 35 minutes late to). This was due to unprofessional extremely distracting side conversations, her often leaving the room or stopping to go on her phone, all while complaining about her lack of clients and personal issues and not acknowledging that she has someone who has been sitting there waiting on her for over 2 hours after their scheduled time to get their hair done. The retwist was sub-par and many locs became completely undone within minutes of leaving. Will not be going back and do not recommend this place to anybody.

Yesha was super friendly. She was dedicated to making sure the experience was welcoming. Yesha was dedicated to making sure the hair was done correctly and neatly, even if that meant going over our scheduled time. You can tell Yesha is passionate about her career and that really shines through her work. We will definitely be going back to Yesha in the future.

Yesha is a miracle worker. I had a situation where my dreads had come out. I was missing sections and could only wear my wonderful locks in a ponytail which I hated . I have been going thru this since August 2018. Yesha says she could have fixed me up then but I stopped looking when I went to a dreadlock shop and they said they couldnt do anything. I was to discouraged at that time and thought about cutting my locks off into a style. But I never had a short cut like that before and I wanted my damn locks back. Anyway long story and even longer journey short I googled dreadlock shop in Michigan and U Natural Hair Dreadlock came up. Before when I looked only the shops around me came up like Locs R Us and Happy to be Nappy. I was so please to see U Natural Hair Dreadlocks had 4.7 stars and they posted pictures that helped me make up my mind rather quickly. I hate when I am looking for a particular type of service and all I see is the clean up cut version. I want to see clients with situations like I had and how they looked after the service. This is what sold me which prompted me to start the motions to regain my confidence back. Let me tell you it was well worth it. I got an appointment very quickly and she did an amazing and incredible job on my beautiful locks. Now I can really shake my dreads and style them like I want to. She reinstalled the missing locks, thickened the weak ones and added length to the short ones as well as retightened my whole head with interlocks.The process took some time but I dont put a time or price on perfection. The only thing would stop me from going to Yesha to get my hair done is if she moved to California. That would only mean I would cut down my dread tightening to twice a year instead of 4 times so I could fly to Calli. Yes it is that serious for me. Yesha is the second person that I have ever allowed in my locks. I have been tightening my own since I got them done in 2014 by a Jamaican lady in Georgia that got deported, hince why I do the tightening which takes me 3 days because its so many and I get tired. I am now a permanent client of Yesha and I am so happy that I took the time to find her. I would most definitely recommend U Natural Hair Dreadlocks to anyone who is serious about their locks.

Awesome awesome work! Will really take care of your hair and if locs are pulled out, they will even put locs on a baldspot!!!??!! Great retwists that stay long. And they even explain what you need to do when you go home to maintain between appointments. They wont keep you waiting for a long time. Everytime I come Im satisfied! Thanks for your consistency!!

Was in town n wanted to have my dreads washed and retwisted...called their numbers on website and nobody’s picking up..finally got this third number from their Facebook page and the person replied me once and ignored all other questions and their address...they may be good stylists but very lazy and unprofessional bunch of guys out there
