Very nice remodled hospital. Up to date technology and streamlined operations have really improved this hospital and made the visit much more pleasent. They had excellent social distancing guidelines in place as well as covid 19 check point at the main entrance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr Keenes nurse in primary care was and absolute joy to work with and made my visit much more enjoyable. Kudos to the Fargo VA for setting a standard the rest of the the VAs in our nation should adhere to!
Im very disappointed in the care I received at the VA hospital and I feel so alone right now
Awesome medical service! Thats why I switched from Souix Falls VA!
Very good service, thank you!
They take me seriously and I cant say thank you enough. The current patient advocate is very dedicated to doing his best to help fellow War Fighters. We are all on the same team and its the hardest job in the world to help Veterans. GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS! AMEN.
The Fargo staff are like family to us. They have been there for my husband for over six years through surgeries, chemo and intensive care. Professional, friendly and most of all respectful. They take the time to listen. Their medical staff, Community Living Center, social workers, and chaplains are a powerful team. Thank GOD for each and every one of them. My husband is alive today because of the VA system.
Best provider in town.
They need a new PA in the Primary Care.
I have never in my life dealt with a more incompetent group than the mental health team there. Completely disrespectful in regards to returning calls and having a sense of urgency. They have mishandled my treatment and we’re grossly negligent of my needs as a patient. I hope no veterans life is in the hands of their care because I would be terrified given how poorly they perform. I never write reviews and felt the need to help veterans by warning them of the extremely poor care given by these medical “professionals”. Fargo VA, you failed another solider and your lack of care will find the way into people’s ears through me. I will make sure everyone knows how poorly my case was handled.
Made it on time
I have seen some great doctors here. I had a ER visit where the doctor was very understanding and helpful.
My emergency room doctor at the Fargo VA was a D.O. (Doctor of osteopathic medicine) I was labeled as having mental disorders before any evaluations were done. I was given a lecture on behavior, attitude, and coping tools. This was after he called in a neurologist on the case. The neurologist wanted more testing before any findings could be made. I find these tactics of the osteopth abhorrent. First of all, I dont believe a DO should be an emergency room doctor. Second of all, I saw undue labeling of a patient, before any investigation whatsoever.
The volunteer coordinator, Jessica Hed, is extremely difficult to work with. She makes it impossible for people to have a chance to volunteer. She is also rude and difficult to get ahold of. She wont make time for a new volunteer to get in and help out. I give up and will be taking my service elsewhere. Many fellow friends of mine would love to give back to veterans but Jessica wont give anyone a position. Its ridiclous, we just want to help!
I was admitted to the Fargo VAH on 9/8 and discharged on the 9/20. I was very ill because of a reaction to my arthritis medicine. Another hospital in town would not even look at me and, being eligible for care there, my wife called them. They admitted me immediately and, after some testing had the diagnosis in two days. The nursing staff and physicians practice like it used be before medicine became a business.I couldnt be happier with the care I received. Im going to transfer most of my care to them and use my other clinic for specialties they do not have.
This is by far the best VA I have visited.
Overall experience for many years has been positive.
Staff were very kind, caring, respectful and professional.
Awesome Hospital !!!
My local VA doctor mistreated my infection for a year. After finally blowing my top. I was forwarded to a civilian Dr. Now I might be facing surgery to fix the damage caused by the infection. The civilian Dr. Was pissed at the gross mistreatment of my condition.
Need people from the front office administration need to get off their lazy asses and go through the VA hospital and check out their employees because their employees always not doing their job right always getting for you say its not their job not their job. Their job then find somebody that does their job or find the right people that can do the right job
They sent me there and did nothing for me
