The rep we had in Fargo went the extra mile for us after our original vehicle wasnt up to par. She had to rearrange a few reservations to get us a vehicle that was clean and fresh and it was greatly appreciated. The downside to our experience is that whoever did the vehicle cleaning should have recognized that the extreme cigarette smoke and subsequent cheap perfume mask made the vehicle unfit for use until it could be properly cleaned and aired out. Our rental agent was a real peach, having a can-do attitude when getting a replacement vehicle was a bit tricky.

The assigned Kia was not a full-sized car. It was very difficult to get in and out of this car.

I had to postpone this rental for my dads out of state funeral in April and then change dates and airports for this trip again after United changed flights on me last minute. Avis went above and beyond to make these changes easy for me during a sad, stressful time. Thank you Avis! I will remember this great service in years to come. I had terrible customer service during Covid 19 from hotels.com so I really appreciate how Avis treated me.
When I arrived at a is in the airport I specifically asked the employee is my amazon rewards was on there. She said yes it. Here it is a week later and still havnt received my rewards through my Amazon account. This isnt the first time I have had this problem! I have spend alotbof money by renting and this really just upsets me!
This is my first time renting from Avis Fargo but have always been happy with my cars at other locations. The car I picked up was absolutely filthy. My fault for not checking before driving away but it was a bit shocking what we found in backseat:A condom wrapperWhat looked like half a bag of chip crumbs emptied on the floorwater bottleslots of mudstrawschapstickList goes on.The entire care was also very dusty. This leads me to my most pressing point. Avis corporate sent an email regarding their cleaning procedures during the COVID pandemic that would be implemented. Clearly the Fargo Avis location is NOT CLEANING OR DISINFECTING CARS.

Horrible! If u want to pay 470 USD for 1 day of using simple car - welcome to Avis. They put your money “on hold” and you’ll never see the first deposit in your account. The supervisor like Milton (didn’t want to give his surname) will tell you many nasty lies, and finally he won’t help you, he’ll reject answering your case that is opened. And never ever ever send you an email you are begging!
This was the best experience of car rental. The agent was great and very friendly, fast, and accurate. The car was in great shape. The agent walked me to the car. I wish all places would be so efficient. The Toyota Corolla was excellent. Thank you.

The rental car was not washed and was covered in dust and mud when I picked it up late at night in a dark parking lot. The low tire pressure warning light was activated and didn’t clear when I filled the tires to the recommended pressure. Due to the dark night and the car being extremely dirty I was unable to see the many scratches and scrapes on the exterior. The car was a 2016 model and had over 40,000 miles on the odometer.
Steering on the car was dangerous. They should check over their cars better. For a dodge avenger or similar, we got a hundai elantra. Easy to pick up and decent price.

Very disappointed! So i rented a surburban for 5 days and i normally rent from Alamo but they were out! Got a truck that was FILTHY! Called back to talk to someone they never called back then tried to return the vehicle and talk to the manager they told the worker they were preoccupied to speak with a customer. A $800 rental and you couldnt talk to a customer about the nastiness of you car twice. Not asking for much but some RESPECT! Would not recommend them at ALL. STAY WITH ALAMO OR NATIONAL!
