This is a fantastic branch. The employees always do everything they can to help out, and I have yet to have a negative experience. Today I witnessed a woman verbally abusing one of the cashiers for her own mistake, and he remained respectful and calm throughout, never sighed or changed his tone or in any way reacted to her cruelty. He never should have been in that situation, but it was a testament to the professionalism of the employees here.

The USPS needs an overhaul. Our mail goes to the Falls Church annex and some of it is held at the post office on Broad Street in Falls Church. Both of these addresses are not accessible by phone so there is no way to track a missing package/mail. I ordered stamps on November 23 and they are still sitting somewhere??? This is an ongoing problem. USPS is not a service oriented entity.

Ive been to this branch many times and always had excellent service. They were also very helpful in getting passports.I am very surprised about the bad reviews. The actual deliveries in the area do not come out of this office, since the mail is sorted and trucks work out of Ballston, but they do drop mail off here a day later in my zip code.

Despite what other reviewers have said, weve gotten good service at this location. Their machines for calculating package postage are easy to use, employees are friendly and helpful, even for non-mail USPS services. We basically only go to this post office, and havent had any issues.

This is the worst post office in this area. Not only is the parking situation horrible the services are too. Tonight, in the height of the holiday season I tried to mail packages thru self-serve machine only to find the machine explicitly NOT providing such service. This machine has been unreliable for over a year. The people of the city of falls church deserve better.

Never knocked on my door, just left a slip in the mailbox. Set the package up for redelivery, again didnt knock & didnt leave a slip. Went to 3 usps facilities due to them not writing which address. People there said the package never went out yesterday (wrong) & that its going out for redelivery today. Its sitting in their facility (according to both intrenet & phone confirmations) & they lied to my face while I was there. Im extremely unhappy with the service/facilities.

Went to mail a package and was surprised to see the clerk working with me did not have a face mask. They also openes just two lanes right next to each other so everyone had to stand 3 or 4 feet from each other.

Postal employees don’t even know the USPS rules. Tried to use stale postage, and was told it can’t be done & it was worthless. Not true:“A customer who has mail with stale meter dates, but correct postage may run the mail piece through again to produce meter indicia with the correct date but $0.00 postage.”Government workers at their best...

I would not even give this post office one star, but I would like to drive their reading down. I went in to get my keys to my P.O. Box, as I had opened one online. I will be transferring my box elsewhere after what transpired. The middle-age female Vietnamese postal clerk was very rude. Though she spoke only broken English, I was able to discern her snapping at customers she was helping. Employees need to be fluent in English to accurately help customers. Period. Citizens and LEGAL immigrants have to be fluent in English, so it does make me a bit suspicious that she only spoke bits and pieces. Not only was she snapping at customers (who, I might mention, her job depends on), I caught her also glaring at me as I stood in line. Every time I looked up, she was giving me the Stink Eye. I have no idea why, other than the fact that I was wearing a camo fleece top, and this post office was in the suburbs.Even I had been a rude customer, you still do not glare at those who provide a job for you. I worked in customer service for 8 years, and I never glared at a customer, lest I wanted to lose my job. There was also an older white man with white hair (another postal clerk) who was talking badly about customers with the middle-age Vietnamese clerk - right in front of all of us costumers, as if we were deaf! I was appalled. These two employees need to be fired. They need to go learn some basic customer service skills and go work for McDonalds. Our tax dollars DO NOT need to go to people who do not treat customers with respect and are not willing to help.

Will NEVER ship from this post office again. I sell clothing online, and work in Falls Church; this location is most convenient for me during the week to mail packages during my break. I usually have all of my packages prepared, but today I did not have the shipping label taped on my package-I was running late for work and could not find my packaging tape. I explained this to the manager and asked her if I could just borrow tape behind the counter to tape the shipping label on (no other post office has given me trouble for this, and very rarely do I ever go to a post office asking that). She, very rudely, told me tape is a luxury item and you need to buy a roll for it. I told her Im not paying for a new roll when I just needed two strips, and that I would just wait to ship from my post office where I live this weekend. Thank you to the woman behind me in line who had just bought a new roll and let me borrow some. The manager also had the nerve to scoff at me because I asked for a receipt with tracking information. I will now only ship my items on weekends at my local post office because of the extremely rude manager.

A pretty bare no frills post office; but, a solid staff. Post office isnt easy to spot as its in a building containing multiple businesses. Parking is a bit confusing, as you have to pull through an archway that goes through the building to get to the small parking lot located in the back of the building. Pulling out can be difficult due to the high traffic volume on the street.

I think Im dropping off care packages to my deployed fiancé once every two to three weeks at this location. Theyre incredibly efficient and stay open until the last minute on Saturdays. I appreciate their accuracy, and efficiency and hope they continue. They may come off unkind if someone didnt know how to fill out paperwork (which means they usually didnt read the form directions). However, they allow customers to step aside to fill it out. As an original southerner, I dont need super kindness nor do I expect it in northern Virginia from federal employees. I do expect them to do their job. This team does it and does it well.

One asian woman works at this place. She is rude. I dont know why theyre hiring her. Government should select people carefully. The manager should select friendly people to work at this post office. I believe the manager drunk..therefore, he/she selected her to be here.

Worst post office. The last three times Ive tried info mail a package with their self service kiosk, its been out of order. Its been MONTHS. Its bad enough the hours suck, but at least give us options to use self service! Im never come her again, but then they probably just dont give a damn. No one in the USPS seems to care about anything, especially customer service.

I have been trying to locate my package, it has been the most complicated, and inefficient system that USPS uses. Either no one answers the calls or when they do, after a lengthy wait on line they either dont have an answer of where my package is, or they hang up! This is the second time my package is being lost!
