Ive always rented with Hertz... Fall riverThis is my first time ever having a problem with my rental not being at the location but the agent fixed it by giving me an SUV for the original price offered.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Very poor service, 99% of the time no one would answer the phone. Had to keep calling the Dartmouth location for help. Someone from the fall River location was supposed to meet me at the body shop at 8 am on 6/29 and never showed up. I ended up being an hour and a half late to work because I had to wait for someone from Dartmouth to pick me up and bring me to the fall river one to pick up the rental. The car looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while and stunk! Driver seat wouldnt sit up straight either. Not sure if its just the way that car is supposed to be or not but was very uncomfortable to drive. Would not recommend them to anyone!
Not the brightest individual they have answering the phones here. Which to me says all you need to know about this place. Call Enterprise, theyre courteous and right down Pleasant St.
First thing is their not open at 8 their never there on time. Second thing I’m really annoyed the girl charged me for Sunday even tho it says on the papers that serve as a registration they can charge you for Sunday but yet she did. Next is I wake up this morning to a new charge on my credit card from hertz. Very disappointed. This isnt my first time renting from them. We had Brandon and he was awesome!! This time it was a young girl and it seemed as if she was in a different place when I was there she received a phone call from the dealer ship that she dropped off her car to get fixed maybe that’s the reason why she lost her train of thought and how to do her job.. I loved it the first time but this time it was very unpleasant!!
Hertz and their team are very nice.I ordered a updated car.( cant remember the make) but I needed it to go to Pennsylvania from R.I and had no problems at all and enjoyed my trip. The team set me up with everything I needed. Thank you Hertz and staff.
After been turned down by another rental agency, we went to Hertz. From the minute we walked in the service was cordially. The processing and completion of the paperwork was very fast. Follow with the walk around of the vehicle and we were send off. All was very fast and professional. Same experience when returning. The vehicle was very comfortable and economic. Save a lot in gas. We definitely renting in the future with Hertz.

Great service here overall I must say, the gentleman and lady are good workers as well. Theres only two of them working normally and drivers. If one of them is working by themselves try to show consideration to them, everything is a process just be patient and always ask questions.
Great customer service here. Cars are recent, and this place never seems to be too busy. Im usually in and out pretty quickly. No extra fees and hassles like at the airport. The only downside would have to be having to leave a deposit even though youre using a credit card. Some other rental companies dont require deposits. (Budget) you do get the deposit back, but still, thats another 200 you could use for the Yankees hat collection.
I scheduled a pick up from Hertz in Fall River, Ma on 2/19/2019 at 8am. At 8:20am there was no arrival of Hertz for pick up or a call.Called Hertz 8:20 am spoke to young lady. and was told the driver called out and she was the only one in the office and did not offer as to what was going to happen to resolve the issue of pick up. Until I started to complain about my reservation and the fact that I rented a vehicle for a reason at a 8 am pickup; she then decided she would call her manager Josh in the Dartmouth Ma office.At 8:30 am I called back again because I had not heard from her and she indicated her boss called a Lyft driver, but there would be a delay of 20 minutes before pick up. I told her that was unacceptable and I called the Dartmouth Ma office to speak to Josh her manager that was in a meeting so I spoke to a person named Vinnie and told him this was unacceptable. He said he would take care of it but no one called back. I then called the Fall River Ma office again at 8:35 am as now I am in a panic as to if I am going to miss an event because of this delay. The office girl answered again and indicated she was closing up shop and coming to pick me up. In driving back she literally stopped the vehicle on Alden st to waive to a group of guys in front of a bar and made comment about drinking times. I was floored. I am thinking I have to get to my destination and this person is now scaring me and has no care about my delay. Never did she ever apologize or think outside the box for me as the client. What she did and the managers lack of response in the Dartmouth Ma office were unacceptable. We got to the lot at 9:10 am and to my surprise the SUV I ordered online had no wifi with navigation as I asked for online. She suggested I take a Chevy Impala which had both. She really had no knowledge or care to the reservation made online. I really had no choice. The vehicle was dirty and I stated as such and she said well I can take it to be washed. I had no time I was in a panic with time. She did credit my bill but I believe the entire trip should be credited. I missed my business event out of state. Very poor customer service from all levels.
The guy working there is the worst. He should be fired. A incident occurred which I was at no fault at all. The car stopped working and he asked me to return the car to get another. He lied. When I asked why did he lie he couldn’t answer the question. Even after the incident he didn’t ask if I was okay or If I needed some type of assistance. Nothing. This is just a job to him. Customer service is very important in case he hasn’t noticed working in customer service. After a couple weeks a deductible of $500 was taken out of my account, mind you I haven’t even talked to anyone from Hertz. No communication or heads up hey we’re taken money out of your account. If they had called me they would know my deductible was covered. Idiots. Have some sympathy in your hearts, you got one job and just do it right.

Avoid These People Like The Plague!!!I needed an additional vehicle for my daughters wedding, which was in Massachusetts (I live in Maine).I booked online a week in advance, purchased the optional collision insurance and was a bit befuddled when the only charge on my account was for the insurance, but I figured no big deal, they must charge after the rental (there was NO OPTION to pay the entire amount at this time). As requested, I received a text message confirmation about my rental with all the details and fine print. Everything appeared to be in order.When I arrived at the rental location in Fall River to get my vehicle, I found the two representatives sitting around chatting ( Unfortunately I did not get either name). When they were finished talking, one finally got up off the desk he was sitting on and asked to help me... in a tone that was anything short of welcoming... it was more like I was bothering them!He requested my license and credit card. I asked why they needed my credit card where I had already listed it online. He informed me that they would be charging the rental amount (no problem) at that time, as well as an additional $200 deposit (problem - paying for the wedding tapped any additional funds from my card).After telling him that I was unaware of a $200 deposit, I attempted to explain the situation and offered to give him $200 cash in lieu of using the credit card. He asked me if I bothered to read the website?He continued on to inform me that we do not accept cash, go to your bank. I informed him that my bank was located in Maine to which he replied by shrugging his shoulders and just stared at me.My daughter happened to be with me (waiting in her car), so I asked her to use her credit card and I would just pay her back. When she came in for this transaction, he informed us that I could not use her credit card with my license and of course my daughter was 5 months too young to put the rental in her name.Needless to say I was a bit frustrated by their lack of caring, professionalism or just basic customer service!After multiple calls to family & friends scrambling to re-arrange vehicles in an attempt to keep the wedding going off without a hitch, I was able to figure it out.I informed him that I would not longer need the rental and requested he refund my insurance payment. He answered me by handing me a post it note with the number to Hertz Billing and told me to call them.The pain of this transaction continues today...I just called Hertz Billing and the nice lady on the other end of the line informed me that I did not buy additional insurance. She knows this because she cant see it in her system. I asked her why the representative in Fall River could see it but she could not... needless to say she had no answer. THANKS FOR NOTHING!Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank.These people are NOT HELPFUL, NOT PROFESSIONAL AND CERTAINLY HAVE NO CARE FOR THE CUSTOMERS WHO KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS!I will never go there again and I will make it my mission to make sure that everyone knows that Buyer Beware applies with this company!DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RENT A CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE!
