I went to Empire with a bit of a tricky trade situation hoping to get into an SUV. I worked with Justin and definitely recommend him if you find yourself working with this dealership. I was not an easy sell because I had very specific numbers in mind and a set budget with little wiggle room. Justin worked hard on my behalf to make it all come together and I found myself in a sport new Tucson. I appreciated his honesty and support the whole way through! Definitely recommend.The only feedback I have - outside of Justin - is that I felt a little misled by the person I spoke with who initially made my sales appointment that day. I was assured multiple times Empire would pay over my cars value to negate any negative equity. I was told her manager was very interested in my trade and the numbers would be a “non issue”. Even when I was skeptical, I was assured of this. I felt badly because Justin was the deliverer of the news that wasn’t the case, so it definitely wasn’t his fault, but I did express it was a little deceptive that I drove an hour to find out that wasn’t necessarily the deal. Just wish I had some honest upfront numbers before going in.DESPITE THIS - Justin got me a great deal, so it all worked in the end!!

I have to give major props to Justin for being the best sales men I have ever encountered. My mother put him through absolute hell and he couldn’t have handled it better. We came to buy one car and we ended up getting three because he was such a good salesman and really took into consideration for what we needed and were looking for.

I took off a day from work to purchase a vehicle and after driving a hour and a half they told me the vehicle was sold the night before. Then the salesman took me outside and told me his friend has a better vehicle for less money I never bothered calling because it just seemed like a scam. Fast forwarding to days still looking for a vehicle online I seen the picture of the same vehicle that was sold still for sale so I called Empire Hyundai and spoke to a manager Casey and she said it is available and when I said oh really she said actually that was just sold today she did the transaction herself. I said that’s funny because I took off from work on Tuesday and drove an hour and a half to buy it and you guys had sold it Monday night as well. Total scam artist. Stay away from this dealership.

Empire Hyundai was my fourth dealership of the day when searching for my first new car. I was immediately greeted by salesman Steve Day who was nothing short of exceptional. He worked patiently with me throughout the process. Steve understood my needs and went above and beyond to meet them. As everyone knows, buying a new car can be stressful- especially your first new car- but Steve and the Empire staff took the pressure and frustration out of the whole process.

I had routine maintenance work done on my Hyundai Ioniq (oil change, tires rotated, etc.). The staff is courteous and professional. The work that was to be done was explained in detail in advance. The work was completed in the time specified.The location of Empire is great for fast food restaurants, CVS, and a specialty market all within walking distance.The only reason I will probably not return to Empire is because I am in Massachusetts from out of state and the indicator on the dash board said that I was due for maintenance work. When I called the dealership where I purchased the car, I was told that I should not wait until I get home, but take care of the issue in MA. I highly recommend Empire Hyundai.

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and taken care of by Kevin. He was super friendly and didnt even start talking about cars at first, started talking about normal things about how my day was and how I was and then we got into what I was looking for. I knew what I wanted so the test drive and sale of the car was quick, but while I was waiting for all the documents to sign and things being done behind the curtain he stayed with me talking about friendly stuff, weather, sports, everyday things etc. It didnt feel like youre normal car buying experience, I enjoy myself just being there. It was a great experience and I would go back there again and recommend my friends going there. And Im absolutely loving the 2021 Hyundai Elantra limited hybrid I bought. Thank you Kevin Barber :)

Overall it was a great experience! Our salesman, Justin, was very nice in getting us all the information we asked for and once we made our decision to purchase he was extremely helpful in making the paperwork process go smoothly. I would have no issues recommending any family or friends interested in purchasing a new vehicle to go to Empire and ask for Justin. I should have read the reviews before going!! So, exactly the same thing happened to me yesterday, September 27, when they said the vehicle I was coming for got sold the day before! Even though I talked to Mandy (Amanda) a few times the day before and the morning before going there, which is an hour drive from me. Afterwards, their sales person Kevin tried to sell me a previous year model for $3K over MSRP - and even got his manager to talk me into it! Thats when I can easily get this years model AT MSRP price in a near-by dealership on Rt.44! What a scam. After I read a few reviews, Im SO GLAD I didnt get into any deal with these sketchy guys....I can only imagine what a problem it could have been. Thank goodness they didnt get my business. STAY AWAY from this place people!! Im getting them reported to BBB now. - Totallly expected that cookie-cutter reply! Save your breath, Kasey Mathias. What a waste of time.

However, You all should post the actual car prices with your ADMU (Additional dealer mark up) online so not to waste customers time. Its unreasonable to advertise one price then mark it up 4K once we are in the door. Bait and switch-not cool.

Interesting how there are not many reviews about the service department. I have been given the run around about my check engine light for the past week. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and then disconnect me. I have to drive an extra half an hour to go to a (hopefully) better dealership for service because this department is so disorganized. Wont trust them with my car anymore.

10/10 would recommend going to see Savannah Cosme If you are looking for a car. Savannah helped me with a lease transition from another company to this and without fail made me feel comfortable with my purchase. She took care of the ins and outs from beginning to end leaving me with no stress and made sure to answer all my questions and find me a better car than the one I initially was looking for. Super empathetic, and personable she made sure I was comfortable and found me a price range close to what I was looking for. I ended up in a better car than I was going to get thanks to this girl! If you were looking to work with somebody who can answer all your questions, is knowledgeable, and spends that extra time to make sure youre okay with your purchase, shes the one I would recommend.

I purchased a car one month ago today. Financing was approved and my next payment has since been requested from Hyundai, YET, I have not received my new car because of paperwork screw up from the dealer and POOR customer service. NOT a good experience whats so ever...I was in the market for another new car and like Hyundai, but this cost the dealership a second new car deal.

On September 21, 2021 I asked about a specific vehicle they had advertised. When I was told they had it in stock I made an appointment for 630pm that same evening to take it for a test drive. Got there and after waiting about 5 to 10 minutes I was told that the vehicle that I specifically asked to test drive was not there and had not been there all day. Very unprofessional and a waste of my time. First and only time ever going there.

Last week I bought a 2021 Hyundai from Empire Pre-owned Superstore and Im still smiling from what a wonderful experience I had. Mike in sales was TERRIFIC and his boss Nelson was right there laughing with us the whole time. I was there almost 4 hours and we were having such a great time, I didnt even realize it as time flew by. What I liked best about Mike is that he was patient, friendly, informative, yet honest- if he wasnt positive about something with the car I liked, he did the research for me and got the answers I needed. I could tell that Mike really enjoyed his job. Mike took me over Empire Hyundai and there I met with Joe in finance, who explained things quickly and clearly to get me on my way. During the whole experience there was no pressure at all to buy, yet I did anyway bc I found the perfect car for me and the experience was so fantastic. I absolutely recommend Mike as a sales associate, Joe in finance and this friendly family-owned business!

I would never recommend this place to someone if they are looking for a trustworthy car shopping experience. I bought a vehicle in 2019 that I recently traded in for a brand new vehicle. When I bought that vehicle in 2019 I purchased 3 warranties all of which I am due a prorated refund. I contacted Joe about canceling the warranties and sent him the info he requested and then sent follow up email where he said I was all set. Well I waited about a month before I checked in to see what the status of my refunds was. Well from this point on it turned into a nightmare. I am now having to deal with DJ Devlin and Melissa both of which can’t give a straight answer if it were printed on a neon sign. Also pretty sure their calculators are broken. Seems they have not even bothered to read the cancellation policy on a warranty that THEY sold me. So at this point I am going to channel 5 news and hiring an attorney to take them to small claims court where I am going for 3x the amount owed just for this hassle. So save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!

Empire Hyundai gave me the best in class service from all the aspects. I was given the car of my choice at the best possible APR. I went in there at ~4pm and I had booked the desired car by 8.30pm. Their staff is very proactive and went beyond their way to help me get a car with-in 4hours. Specifically to mention DJ (Sales manager) ensured I am getting all the paper work done even after their operating hours (as I live far from the dealership). The finance team is also stayed to close the deal. On the day of delivery, one of their team member drove to my house (~50miles) to get a signature. Such kind of behavior has left very good impression on me. I really appreciate all the efforts by whole Empire Hyundai dealership.

I am not one who would ever give a great review about any car dealer (I had several pretty bad experiences in my life) but Empire Hyundai is quite different. We dealt with two salesmen (Justin and Connor) and a manager. Justin and Connor were very personable and we really appreciated all their assistance. We received top notch treatment from all 3, and we bought the car my wife always wanted. We were treated with respect at all times. The three had great knowledge about all aspects of the car and we got a great deal. I highly recommend this place.

Wouldnt go anywhere else. Started out thinking with my credit this is going to be a waste of my time turns out it was were I should have started . Justin B was amazing making me feel comfortable the whole way threw the process. I walked away with a 2021 that was affordable even with my bad credit. Couldnt be more happy over the outcome.Up date next day came back with my new car to sign my papers at Empire was then told I couldnt have it after putting it on my insurance an taking my trade in. Gave me a hard time about giving me my plates back and refunding my deposit. All they cared about was the key back for there car . Not that they put me in a car sent me home showed it off to say sorry we were wrong we need it back. They even called the cops on me witch was a waste of time I was in the right . Police back me...The owner was no help told his sales guys to call 911. On All 5 ft of me lol . The whole time I was just trying to get my insurance switch back to my previous car. Crying my eyes out ..Very unprofessional BBB report for shore.

Unfortunately I had a terrible visit on Saturday 1/30/21. I had explained my financial situation with both Mandi and Michaela well before my appointment and said I didn’t want to waste my time if the likelihood was we couldn’t work something out. They both assured me that you have a lot of flexibility and no money down deals as well as financing for fair/poor credit. They also told me whatever I owed on my trade in would be covered by you.Turns out I drove an hour for a 10am appointment that didn’t exist. No one knew who I was. I was told by Mandi that she would introduce herself and it turns out it was her day off. I was also told I would be introduced to DJ whom I didn’t meet. I ended up speaking with Steve who didn’t even know what car I was interested in and had to go find it! He was also more interested in talking about himself than helping me and my daughter.As most car buying experiences I’ve had he disappeared several times to “negotiate” on my behalf and basically told me he couldn’t do anything for me unless I had a co-signer with 700 or better credit. He also insulted me and my daughter by stating “do you realize you are trying to finance a $45,000 vehicle with an upside down trade in and poor credit?” I’m beyond upset and have joined the terrible ratings you have! I gave it 1 star because there wasn’t an option for zero!

Horrible experience, don’t EVER by out of state and this is why... First, I put a down payment on a Hyundai Accent that was SOLD on me a few days after I put the payment down. We enroll into another Accent, it was a cash deal the Finance manager tells me it shouldn’t take more then 5 days for the registration to go through ON a brand new car that I pulled a personal loan for. This was April 8th, so after a week of not getting my registration I wait another week. Still nothing so I go into Empire Hyundai asking for dealer plates and the SALES MANAGER “Donald” Disrespects me in front of the whole dealership, threatens to give me a full refund and send me out the door. Mind you the process for the registration was already in process and I’ve already waited 2-3 weeks to SIT in my car. After almost a MONTH I went back frustrated for a FULL REFUND and Sales Manager Hector decides to finally gave me dealer plates. Hector & Ben were great help.

The only reason I gave this place two stars was because my salesgirl was very sweet and she really tried. This place is totally sketchy though. They have cars listed for one price and then tack on some $3000 fee after you get to the dealership (this was besides taxes and fees). Mind you... this car had over 10k miles more than the same exact year and model car that I test drove a few miles away. No...Also, the website says that you can save time at the dealership by running your credit to get pre approved. Went through the whole process, got approved, but when I got there, I had to fill out all of my information again and then they came back with way different numbers than I had seen online. No... no... such a scam and a waste of time.

Not only did Steve Viera understand my situation, but between Steve and DJ, they helped me find a car within my budget and I was able to drive off the lot in under 2 hours with a brand new car. Customer service really isnt that good. They do have good deals on cars. And the trade in promo they have is not a lie and definitely legit. But there service isnt good. My sales agent was basically rushing me through out the entire process. She didnt know alot of information on the cars. I kept asking if the car had solar panels and she was like theres no sun roof and then peeled off the plastic on the roof after pointing it out to see theres solar panels on the car. She told me she set up my blue link didnt even do it at all or right one or another. Then I called customer service because I forgot something in my old car. I asked if they could set it aside and they told me they left it with the cashier. Then my gf drives to pick it up they didnt even know what was going on to find out. They never even took the thing out of my old car I traded in. If you wanna look for some decent pricing on cars they have it l. If you wanted to be treated in a professional manner keep looking you will get better customer service in a Mc Donalds in the worst part of fall river

If I had a choice they would get zero stars. Dealership sold a car to my boyfriend for $15,900. He got his car loan in the mail for over $28,000. Never gave him any paperwork on the sale of the car and the total price. They clearly took advantage of him since it was his first car.

I recently purchased a 2014 Mercedes E350 from their Swansea Used Car Store. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Trevor Torres and the staff were very professional. The best part was the price which was $1,500 better than the best price I received for a comparable vehicle at 3 other area dealers. Their assistance with the RI registration and title process was also excellent. I have recommended friends and family and all have been similarly satisfied.

I have bought several vehicles over my life time and this has been one of the worst if not the worst transaction. Sales men were extremely pushy, I mean pushy. While we were still negotiating, the sales men was taking my plates off my car and putting them on the new car. Please BEWARE of the additional absolutely useless vehicle maintenance/roadside assistance/whatever that they want to tag on to the sale of the vehicle. I googled the maintenance plan and they only had 1 star for reviews. I was planning on buying which I did a factory extended warrantee from Lexus. Expensive, but completely worry FREE ! ! ! Empire has attempted to register my car and its been 2 weeks and no registration, no plates. God forbid I get into an accident. Empire is giving Hyundai a horrible name.

100% do NOT recommend trusting the financial people, the service was very unpleasant and unorganized. nothing was in a correct order, and on top of that they lied about everything in their service. These people are sketchy and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were scamming and stealing money.

Don’t waste your time. Spent 3 hours locking in a deal, left a deposit to hold my car. 2 weeks later they schedule me an appt to come in an sign paperwork only to find out they sold the car. Ghetto trashy dealership. So unprofessional manager wouldn’t even speak to me to apologize for the mix up or work to get me into another car in my price range. Barely any inventory. Disgusting the lack of professionalism.

I left a five star review originally, but after getting my car, someone there forgot to have me sign something on the paperwork that prevented me from being able to register my car, no one called to even let me know so I didn’t find out until I CALLED THEM two weeks later asking where my registration was. During this time, I got a parking ticket for having no inspection sticker but I COULDNT get one because Hyundai didn’t register my vehicle in time. I never would have known had I not called them and asked about it. They agreed to pay the ticket for me since it was due to a mistake on their end and here we are 5 months later the ticket was never paid even though I dropped off the citation personally and I have called 3 times since then to ask someone to take care of it. Now the ticket is up to $100 and I’m stuck paying it because someone at Hyundai did not do their job efficiently. Very disappointed there is a severe lack of communication and follow through.
