This was fantastic. Had a great time.SafetyBut, first, the important parts. It was very well organized. They go over safety and all important guidelines thoroughly. As you move through the waves, it’s a responsible line with the three guides keeping an eye on the mini boats and all the boats around you.Drinking - not allowed. And for good reason.StaffVery friendly staff. Again, keeping you safe. They guide you from place to place and then show you the best spots for snorkeling and hitting the beach.Cost - reasonableSnorkeling - they provide the gear (mask, snorkel, and fins. And vest. And it’s beautiful out there.Food - they give you waters and some snack.Is it dangerous? There is no doubt that it could be. Your on a boat! But the staff makes it as safe as possible. It’s up to you and your group on how safe it can be. And there is no drinking.

This was so much fun! We are experienced divers, trying out new waters. Matt and his crew were amazing. Totally didnt make us wait for instructions on how to. They let us jump in and start exploring. The crew was super friendly and filled our ice chest with drinks and snacks! This is my new go to when we are in PR!

This was one of the highlights of our vacation. Driving the boat out to Icacos was a blast. The snorkeling was fun and the white sand beach was beautiful. The staff explained everything very well. They pointed out some cool fish and a squid while snorkeling.

This was one of my favorite parts of visiting PR! Although we weren’t the GREATEST at driving the boats, I had so much fun and could not stop smiling and laughing! It was a smidge terrifying at first because I wasn’t prepared for the waves but it got much better! Jose was super patient and informative and brought a great vibe to our adventure! Snorkeling was a bit tiring but worth it! I enjoyed being in the beautiful blue water and seeing how amazing Puerto Rico really is! Definitely recommended!

What an amazing time we had! Our tour guides were the absolute best! We were late and they still went out their way to accommodate us an make sure we had a pleasant time. The adventure itself was wonderful and such a great experience, but for sure the tour guides were the ones to make it a great experience! A must do excursion!! Will be back :)

Mini boat tour was amazing! Got to see sea turtles and colorful fish while snorkeling and visit other island for a very cheap price. Paola and matt were amazing tour guides and provided free drinks (non alcoholic obviously) and snacks. This is a must do when in the area.

Kayaking Puerto Rico is a MUST!!! What an incredible experience, I would do it all over again. The tour guides were just amazing, provided tips, good energy and so much fun. Water and snacks were included, as well as laughs and a great time.

We had such a good time on this tour! Miguel, Francisco and the others were so helpful and friendly throughout the entire tour. It was so magical to see the bioluminescence in person! It is not as bright as we expected but it was still so incredible. The kayaking was so fun/ a little stressful & chaotic while in the dark, it’s about a 3 mile round trip in narrow channels. My partner is a very strong kayaker so we didn’t have any issues but a lot of people in our tour were having issues so just keep that in mind. We fully recommend the kayaking Puerto Rico crew! They are so so amazing!! Definitely a very cool experience :)

Best tour in Puerto Rico! John and Brian showed us a great time and made us feel like we were locals, or rather local celebrities! Plus the boats are fun to drive 😁👍🐬We saw sting rays and loads of cool fish!

What can I say? They definitely live up to their slogan best Tours period. There were 6 of us in our group and we all had a blast. Beautiful beach, snorkeling was amazing and the waters crystal clear. Our guides John and Brian were the best they explained everything to everyone and made sure that we all had a fun and safe trip.. shout out to them. This was a great experience we had rented 2 mini boats. 4 adults and 4 kids ranging in ages from 6-14.Our tour guides were John and Adriana they were very helpful thank you. We were forewarned that the seas were choppy that day. We had a great time it was bumpy but lots of fun,took about 30min to get to the snorkeling reef. Where we saw beautifully fish and then we docked the boats and were able to enjoy the beach.I would recommend you wear water shoes on the beach as there is alot of broken glass.

We had a blast! Matt was our guide and he was the best! We saw beautiful fish, swam in gorgeous waters, rode in fun boats, and spent the day in a beautiful location! Can’t wait to do it again the next time we are on the island!

It was an amazing experience! Would definitely recommend! It got a bit crowded at one point in the channel but overall it was an experience of a lifetime!

A very unique experience plus the Thrills of having your own mini boat although its guided it was extremely fun

This experience was so fun! Someone we met on a hike told us about it. We got to drive the mini boats to an island. On our way to the beach we stopped to snorkel which was beautiful. Due to choppy waters we missed out on visiting other islands but our time out was still lots of fun. Our tour guides Paola and Eric were awesome and friendly! The views, the experience, everything was worth it. This is great for a half day activity. Be sure to bring ziplock or water proof bags because your stuff WILL get wet. And if you’re bringing your GoPro bring your chest harness/floater attachment. I recommend Leaving towels and anything you can’t stick in a waterproof bag in your car or in the white storage box at the dock. They provide snacks, juice, and water. The sun/snorkeling/swimming will tire you out, so We brought sandwiches from a nearby spot called El Meson (so good! Try the media noche) and threw it in the ziplock so it wouldn’t get soggy and we were so glad we had it. I would definitely do this again!

We had Luisa & Matthew as our tour guides and they were honestly amazing! Not only did we get to snorkel but we also got to visit Icacos (which is beautiful). They also provided us with snacks which was a very nice gesture.

Really enjoyed my time snorkeling and kayaking with this group!! They took their time to introduce themselves, talked us through what to expect for the day, and were there every step of the way during the experience. Some people in our group werent too confident in their swimming abilities and they made them super comfortable with a floaty attached to one of the instructors. All equipment was provided as well! They provided water and snacks. Would definitely contact them again if Im in Puerto Rico to experience the other excursions!

We loved this activity. The mini boats were fun to drive and ride in and the snorkeling was really good with clear water and interesting things to look at in both spots off an island off of Fajardo. Christian and Bryan were excellent guides who provided useful tips for this activity and also provided useful tips for other activities to do while in Puerto Rico.

Brian and Chris were great guides. No prior boating experience necessary as they thoroughly explained all the basics. It was adventurous and well timed. We didn’t feel rushed while snorkeling or exploring. We usually don’t do excursions while vacationing Puerto Rico, but this one was worth it. Highly recommend.

They called the day before regarding the weather, that ride could be a bit choppy and visibility for snorkeling could be affected. We decided to do it anyway, and im very glad we did. It was the highlight of our trip! They(Lisa, Matthew and I forgot another girls name)were very informative and professional, and weather turned out to be amazing. Icacacos Island was beautiful and there was alot of fish for snorkeling. I highly recommend this trip!

It was an amazing experience! Driving the mini boat was easy breeze. Brian and Christian did a great job explaining the rules and the route. Definitely 10/10 would recommend.

We booked the Mini Boat Adventures as a family of five. Three of us went on one boat and 2 of us on another. The day we went a total of five boats were booked. We had to wait quite a bit for one of the guides. who was late, which was unfortunate. However, the staff gave us excellent safety instructions and life jackets were required. The boats all went single file across the bay. Our boat was last, and when moving fast, the boats really pack a bounce, even on a day without wind. The location where the boats stopped for snorkeling was not great; its clear the reefs have suffered a lot and we didnt see a ton of fish. The boats did include fins and snorkels for everyone, which was really handy. I appreciated the eco-friendly aspect of the company, which made sure everyone understood to be careful around the reef. The tour said it would include snacks and I was skeptical, but much to my surprise, they were adequate and diverse--snack bars, fruit cocktail cups, sodas and capri suns and even pringles. I appreciated that we didnt need to bring our own snacks. The best part was riding on the boat and feeling the wind and water on you. I could have done it all day. Overall, this was very much worth it, but its not for someone who doesnt like a bit of a bounce or who gets motion sickness!

They called us 2 days prior to the trip for reminder and also on the day of the trip.Tour guides were very polite and knowledgeable.Since we were not able to do kayaking because of weather conditions they promptly provided us refund of $12 without us asking for it.Overall the experience was worth it and will definitely recommend the tour company. Extra kudos for conducting the tours in such trying conditions of a pandemic.

This was the worst experience I ever had with kayaking. I was very exciting to see bioluminescent bay. But all we got was dark. There was no light in the way along with just a dark water. No light in the water at all. I suggest not to waste money.

Me and 3 others did a mini boat tour and we had 2 mini boats and the experience was exceptional!!!! I wish they offered this is many more locations. We will be back when visiting Puerto Rico

Amazing trip driving your own mini boat with a provided stocked cooler of drinks and goodies. Guides were knowledgeable, fun and safe. A variety of stops with snorkeling (provided gear)and swimming or relaxing on the beach. A great experience and a highly recommended trip, well worth the money.

Wow what a great time!!! Monica and Joe were awesome!!! We start off by learning the speedboats and then go for a ride to a neighboring island and then we went snorkeling!!! Omg what an experience, we even got to see a baby shark!!! It was beauty and truly a once and a lifetime experience!!

2nd time doing it and it was even better than the first time...the first time was beyond fun and wonderful humbling experience.. from the knowledge they teach you about the coral reefs and other ocean life to the freedom you get with great safety guidelines set in place is worth everydoller! Expectations were high after watching Davids Been Here on youtube. Mini boat was pretty awesome. Lots of big waves and bumps. Defintely an experience for thrill seekers. Snorkeling was disappointing. Didnt see that much fish. No turtles, no sting rays. 2nd stop was just the beach, even less to see with snorkeling. Probably will do this tour just for the miniboat.

We were able to drive our own 13 Mini Boat along the protected white sand cays of Puerto Ricos eastern coast! With certified guides Joe, John, and Monica leading the way, we followed the Mini Boat convoy across the mesmerizing clear blue waters of Fajardo, stopping at a selection of some of the most beautiful islands in the Puerto Rican Archipelago. Monica provided us with a guided snorkeling experience we will never forget.

BOOK IT NOW!!!I was left in awe of how amazing the mini boating tour was. Our tour guides provided extraordinary service and guidance. Our tour guides were John, Rafi, and Yamil. They were so knowledgeable on the use of the mini boats and Cayo Icacos. We felt very safe and comfortable riding the mini boats. They were very attentive; whenever one of the guides saw any of the participants slowing down or stopped they came rushing to help us. The guides also took 4 professional pictures of us that were included in the cost. Icacos island was BEAUTIFUL and BREATHTAKING!! As an FYI, there are showers available that are free, which was very convenient because we had horseback riding to do after. There is also free parking. We stayed in condado and it was about an hour drive to the tour.

My wife and I took part on the mini boat adventure and it was the most awesome trip of my life. Everything from the boats to the beach to the snorkeling was great. I want to give a special thanks to Monica, John and Brian for the amazing help and making everything easy.

My wife and I were interested in a water based excursion. Boy did we hit on a great one. Guides Monica and Joe from Mini Boat Adventures set a great tone for the afternoon . The Mini Boat Tour combines driving a small boat(quickly if you like at times), snorkeling and then resting on a small deserted island. The hard bottom inflatables with a big engine on the back are very stable and fun to pilot. No experience necessary. Snorkeling near a reef in the islands should be experienced by everyone. Monica and Joe explained details about the ecology and history of the area. I can not say enough about their enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the entire experience. Monica made a point of taking many pictures so we all could concentrate on the beauty and excitement of the experience. Well worth the money.

This is part 1 of this review because we’re booked for the excursion later this week.

The day we booked to do our mini boat adventure they called and told us due to the weather it would not be safe to go. We easily rescheduled for the next day and showed up and got our orientation and were out on the ocean when when the weather went south again. If youre not aware, the weather can change quickly in Puerto Rico. The decision was made to cancel the trip and we had to head back. Refunds were automatic and they took care of everything. The staff was super awesome at every point (even when we called and said we were lost trying to find free parking lot - it was right in front of us). We were only out for about 30 minutes but it was incredibly fun and you can just tell this was going to be the highlight of our trip.Beyond that, they provide all the gear you need (life jacket, mask, snorkel), cooler full of beverages/fresh fruit, dry sack for anything you want to bring, and they even take pictures for you if you dont want to risk bringing your camera/phone. Staff was friendly and very energetic. In the 30-45 minutes we were out both my wife had a blast even though it started raining and the waves were getting big. Honestly, on the way back we both agreed this mini boat adventure was worth visiting Puerto Rico again next year so we will be back JUST to do this adventure.My biggest recommendation, dont wait until the last day or two of your trip like we did to book this adventure!

The guides and customer service of Kayaking Puerto Rico were very professional, responsive, and accomodating.That said, there were 30 people on our night tour of the Bioluminescent Bay in Fajardo - and it proved far too many in terms of skill level for the 5 guides to manage: experienced kayakers had to significantly slow their pace to accomodate the many inexperienced kayakers who struggled to paddle physically, in the right direction, and constantly ran into the trees and other kayaks. My recommendation would either be to try* to group people by skill level or limit the number of kayakers to a more manageable level.I do recommend them but call ahead to ensure you are in a smaller group.

This was the highlight of my mini vacation. My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with the snorkeling and relaxing off the beach. I will be willing to pay double what I paid and I would still be satisfied. The instructor Yamil was very profesional and helped boost confidence in anyone who never used a mini boat. His instructions very easy to understand. Monica was amazing, she would guide you in snorkeling while teaching you about the species you would see . They make it super easy for first timers. This is a must do if you ever step foot in Puerto Rico!!!

We were delighted with the miniboats, it was a lot of fun, they are easy to handle, we were able to snorkel and see the coral reefs. The guy who ran the tour is called Yamil and he is super attentive, we feel very safe at all times. We will definitely do it again.

This guys are lit!!! Monica, Yamil, Ryan. This guys know what they do always safe the best adventure I ever had. Starfish, reef and they teach you and educate you. Fully recomend this tour. And get a water proof camera you will need it.Girlfriend fell from the boat they was there in a very fast move Ryan and monica make sure everything was in order not even 3 minutes she was back on the boat and laughing.
