The pool is always closed and it sucks. When it is open, it’s disgusting, hardly taken care of. This place was nice in the beginning but it’s now becoming a major bummer. OH they only have one nice manager. so there’s a star for that. Besides that they charge a lot and make it seem like the amenities are great but they are just w.e. The dryer hardly works, washer only works on hot. Was slightly dirty upon move in. Spa didnt work all summer. Gym goers don’t clean up after them selves and management doesn’t hold people accountable. IF you get out of work because of the pandemic they will not give you grace on late rent. Even if you explain that you are required to quarantine. emails are hardly replied too. The trash area is a literal nightmare. Idk with what they’re asking you might be able to find something else.

We have just moved into this place and we wereTold it was “move in ready” it has so many things wrong that we’re NOT move in ready. We had to turn on, and attach hoses to washer, our stove burners don’t work, our dishwasher is leaking & wont turn on (this is just the appliances) I Hung a towel on the towel rack & it fell off the wall. The list goes on.. but the biggest issue is the maintenance guy or guy(s) can’t come fix until Thursday maybe? We are not please with our 1 week experience from move in. I normally wouldn’t write a review but being told it’s move in ready when it’s not is very discouraging.
Fieldstone is pretty alright! I’ve been here for 9 (almost 10) months. The insides of the units are freshly painted and mostly nice in general. The paint job itself could have used more attention to detail (they missed spots or got paint on the mirror) but not enough to ruin the experience. However, if you are someone who can’t deal with or sleep through children screaming until 9-10 pm right outside your window, look elsewhere.People here also have a tendency to leave their vehicles in the visitor parking for months at a time without moving it. Maintenance will take a long while to get to you unless your request is something like a flood or a fire. The office staff will seem attentive to you at first, long enough to get you to move in, and then it takes a while for them to actually follow through on requestsand the like.Easy access to Salish Ponds and Target. There are schools nearby. The post office and town hall are an easy walk away. Overall, I’m satisfied. I feel like I’m paying Portland rent but not getting Portland amenities. Hopefully I see that change soon!and the like.

Lived here for about a year. Had a fire in our apartment, the person above us started the fire, but they didnt have renters insurance because they rented with previous management So we were responsible for ALL of the damage costs.Maintenance requests are not completed at the time they provide. So we both took time off work to be present because we have animals, then ever showed and never called. Only found the information out when we tracked them down.The office staff were misleading in the cost we would get back in the end after when we moved out. Provided one number then sent us another number after we moved.Was so happy to move out! Dont move here!
Yes, listen to these folks with negative feedback about the New management so called Sage and its people. Very Very Very incompetent. Cannot provide solution to even a simple issue. So many excuses. I live here and I cannot wait for my lease to end. Since Sage took over, all they did is make sure the increase in rent gets out but do nothing to resolve issues (parking, handling of checks, even closing out the pool for a few weeks in the summer and not providing us why). Those ladies in the office, Im sorry, know nothing about managing a property like this. Stay away. Rent is also increasing by at least around $200 per mo and its not worth it. The buildings are so old and they are just content on waiting the buildings to fall apart it seems like before they do something. The previous management is way way way better, was proactive and quick response to issues.
I lived at Fieldstone for about 2 years. They went through about 4 managers in that time. My previous great review was while they had the best manager, but she left while I still lived there. For most of the time I lived there the apartments were pretty great, but when I left things were going down hill.Previously if they had received a package for me in the office Id get a notification in my mail, but they stopped doing that such that an unexpected package would sit for weeks. The constant changing of office staff made any sort of repore impossible. The fitness room and amenities (sauna!) are definitely nice. Breaking my lease got me nailed with major fees (per contract) with no mitigation for me being an excellent tenant for 2 years and giving 45 days notice.Do not move here if you have a cat, as they took that chance to nail me with full carpet replacement fees due to supposed pet urine. My cat has never gone outside of his box, and the box was on a huge rug. Despite having done a walk through they never mentioned this until I got a huge invoice after moving out.Overall the amenities are nice, but expect the typical traits of apartments managed by a distant company. Until they get a long term manager dont expect anything over and above, but do expect to be milked for every dollar possible.
A few years ago I was in a bad relationship. So bad I almost lost my children if I had not left, so in agreement with the courts I was to leave state in order to regain custody again.Even though I had proof of abuse in the months leading up to leaving, that the case was ongoing, that we were not safe at that address, along with a letter from my case worker stating I needed to break my lease due to domestic violence, they denied me because I was not hit within the previous 30 days.I had to choose between keeping my children or this on my record.Now we struggle to find a home of our own since this is on my credit report.They dont care about your family.
This wouldnt be a bad place to live, except In the almost 6 months weve been living here, the trash receptacle has *yet* to be emptied. The trash compactor has not only over-filled, but there are *dozens* of garbage bags that liter the compactor around it ( tenants are billed for garbage removal services, in addition to the rent. ) Speaking with other tenants here, complaints to the office about this recently, have went entirely unanswered.The water has been shut-off repeatedly throughout the day as well. Most of the time they have posted notes on tenants doors to warn them about a time window the water would be shut off, but after asking management about this why it was so frequently happening ( about once a week ) a few days later, the water was shut off while I was taking a shower getting ready for work---with no warning.
Let me tell you, we have lived here 5 years plus. the rent has increased with each lease, and the management has neglected my building in particular because it is butted up to a nature area and cant typically be seen. there is a yellow jacket nest the size of a basketball that has been exterminated a year ago, yet still hangs to this day. in 5 years they have never properly maintained the gutters so they worked properly. simply put, for 900 bucks a month i would absolutely go else where.
The new management team could be nicer! let me give you a fresh example : I came back from work today and the smoke detector was beeping. I asked the maintenance guy to fix it he said I need to go to office and submit a work order which i did immediately. I was waiting for 2 hours for some one to come and fix it and you know for sure how annoying that beeping is . No body showed up I went to office and the young lady said it is scheduled for tomorrow and the maintenance guy has left !!! I told her do you understand how annoying this situation is ? and she said she understands it . No apologies, nothing ! I said Ill fix it myself .

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! This place needs to be shut down. Period. Sage has no idea what theyre doing and neither does the management team that works here... Insanely unprofessional and incompetent. Theyve lost my rent check multiple times. Ive gone to court twice with this company because theres no communication within their office and what they keep on file makes no sense. They dont even have a dropbox so if you have to turn anything into them, you better do it in person and get a receipt or else theyll claim you were never there. Ive been renting at different locations for nearly a decade and Ive NEVER had issues with my landlord until now. I cant stress enough how much I loathe this place. Its insanely overpriced for what it is too.. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
I have been a model tenant for almost 6 years!! I have seen 5 different property managers in the time that Ive lived there! The latest management is by far the worst ever!!! I received a certified letter that was signed for by BREENA (the latest property manager) however, I was never notified by management that I had a letter being held in the office!! A month later I called the finance company about why I had not received my car title... I was informed that it had been sent, received and signed for by the property manager BREENA on April 23rd...and this was now the end of May!! It took the incompetent staff 2 days to locate my certified letter!!We get charged for water which isnt a problem except that the water it shut off for 2-8hours at least once a week for maintenance issues!!!After receiving a bill for rent and utilities for June of 2018 and paying the total amount in-full and on time (as always), I just received a phone call stating that my lease had expired and that I now owed an additional $350 because they were now charging me as a month to month tenant!! I received a letter from the office back in March that notified me of my new lease options which I promptly completed and returned to the office within a week of having received it with my choice of a 13 month lease. In the 5+ years that I have lived there, I would then get a notification that my lease was prepared and that I needed to stop by the office to sign the formal lease agreement. I am now being told that I should have made an appointment to sign the lease and that it was my responsibility to make that appointment!! Not a courtesy call saying hey Sean... we need you to stop in and sign your new lease.... not a courtesy call of any kind!!!ITS BECOME ALL TOO OBVIOUS THAT THEY HAVE NO DESIRE TO KEEP MODEL TENANTS AT THIS PROPERTY!!! ALL THE CARE ABOUT IS COLLECTING FEES AND INCREASING RENTS!! THE GARBAGE IS CONSTANTLY PILED UP IN THE DUMPSTER AREA AND THE PROPERTY IS LOOKS HIDEOUS ALL THE TIME BECAUSE OF IT!! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND LIVING AT FIELDSTONE TO MY WORST ENEMY!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! NO WONDER THEY CANT KEEP DECENT TENANTS!! ITS BECOME A REVOLVING DOOR OF RIFF-RAFF!!!

Since Sage bought the property, its gone down hill. Will post photos of disgusting trash areas. Ive been here 2 years and since they started getting a boom of renters we have had 2 shootings and cops here looking for ppl on the run. They change lease terms all the time. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!! Save your money and rent from a GOOD renter. Especially now that crime has sky rocketed. This is Gresham basically...
Beautiful apartments inside and close to the freeway, which is why we rented here. Little did we know that the cops visit frequently, ONE garbage area for the entire complex of several hundred units which is constantly overflowing and filthy, the water has been shut off almost weekly since we moved in, electricity has been shut off 3 times, when it snowed several inches they made sure everyone has insurance and then only cleared the walkway in front of the office!!! Icey packed snow was all over the complex; nothing was cleared for the tenants, snow packed on the the steps going to units, maintenance cant seem to fix the thermostat correctly so our electric bill has been over $300/ mo for only 2 people, sliding door doesnt open without a ton of strength and still has not locked since we moved in. At first glance it looks like there is a good amount of open parking spaces, but for some reason everytime we need to park our 2nd vehicle, at least 50% of the carports are empty and none of the guest parking is available. A majority of the time one of our vehicles is parked somewhere on the other side of the apartment complex. Management/office staff (every employee) has changed FOUR TIMES! Nobody knows what the other is doing and everytime we need to go to the office the door is locked with workers inside ignoring us, or they closed early/are coming in late. We were told upon move in that there is a no tolerance pot smoking policy, well, we have 3 neighbors who smoke constantly inside and out. Comes through vents and we cant even leave our patio door open because our apt fills with pot smoke. THIS PLACE IS A HOT MESS!
On move in we did a check list of everything wrong, laundry door fell off its hinges plug ins with no power, storage lock not the same as keys given and other issues, almost a month in and nothing has been fixed and the office keeps telling me they will get to it when they get to it. Moving in here was a mistake.

Stay away from here! The new management team is the most incompetent renters Ive ever encountered. You are offered covered parking but every other day a maintenance worker will be in your spot and nowhere to be found forcing you to not use your only guaranteed spot. When I contacted the office about the parking they gave me the run around and didnt change anything or say sorry. They let their employees park rv s blocking their fire lanes and when I contacted them they didnt do a damn thing. If you want an overpriced apartment with idiots running the show, come here! Theyd love to take your money :)
Nope dont live here since we moved in the rent has only gone up year by year, Since new management came in we have a dirty garbage disposal almost every week, the maintance people come & do things in a moody way if you can chose a different place do it
