Showed up due to a barber shop being open and was stoked to see it seemed like an old school barber shop. Called the shop before I went in to see if I needed an appointment, but went straight to voicemail 3 times. Yelp brings you to a booksy website, and there were no options and even the home button wasn’t working, so I took it as it might be a site issue. Showed up at 3pm with my nephew to see if they had time for us. First thing they asked was if we had an appointment. I told him no, wasn’t aware we needed one and asked if they had time for two. He asked what website I was on, and when I told him I looked it up and it took me to some website, he (Edwin is what his shirt said) laughed and said we don’t have a website. He stated yelp redirects them to a booksy site. I told him yes that was it, he then asked what barber shop I looked up. I told him Chico’s and his partner laughed and said “probably the one in Chico”. Nope I showed the address. Asked if they had room, and he asked what booksy said. I told him I could see anything regarding times, and he told me well if you don’t see anything, that means I don’t have anything. I left at this point.Rude, unprofessional. Not that it matters, but I won’t be referring anyone or even going back. As a matter of fact, I will use everything I can to make sure everyone finds out how terrible that place is. I’ll make sure it’s all over my business pages and to everyone I talk to in local conversation.

Best Barber shop in town! Place has been here forever, generations of hair cutting and cuts. Its a piece of Fairfield history.

I like this barbershop because its old school. The gentleman who cut my hair was very friendly. Conversation was good. Also cut my hair exactly like I wanted it. I enjoyed the fact that he used a straight razor and cleaned my head with a warm towel. Definitely recommend. Price is also more reasonable than other places in the area.

If you like some one to cut hair by hand rather than a pair of clippers then Chicos the guy for you. And its cheaper than most around the area. He also remembers the style you prefer.

Chicos barber shop has always been the place to go. Now that Art is taking over its a better place to go and associate with old timers and new timers. I enjoy the conversations everytime I go there.

Good cuts, with HORRIBLE customer service! I was dozing off, because I have narcolepsy, and the woman cutting my hair sprayed me in the face with the water telling me to wake up. Not only did she go about that situation incredibly unprofessionally, but she was handling my head with abrupt force. I will never go there again, and i recommend you dont either.
