Got us in within 3 hours of finding out we needed wiring to our hitch so our U-Haul trailer would have lights. Found this out the morning we were supposed to move to North Carolina (last minute, whoops). Had us in and out within 2 hours. Great price, super friendly, and had a driver to take us anywhere we needed.

UPDATE as of 8/18/20.This whole situation has now been completely resolved and I am extremely happy about it. Clint from Bobs Auto took charge and personally oversaw the entire effort to fix what was wrong with my car. Id say that he undoubtedly went WAY above and beyond in his effort to make things right. They ARE concerned about their customers and Im very grateful that I gave them the chance to prove it. I will extend my 30-year tradition and continue to take both of my cars to them whenever needed. Great place for all auto needs

Vehicle seemed tuned to perform well in a test drive but has quite a few issues which have required costly repair within the first month of purchase.

Bought 2 Toyotas from bob a few years ago. The first Toyota broke its shift linkage less than 24hrs after purchase. They towed it and fixed it for free. Then less than a year later the same Toyota had a oil pressure sensor explode and dump all the oil while going down the highway, threw a rod and destroyed the engine. They refused to work with me at all and left me with a destroyed Toyota at their shop and a $5000 quote to put a new engine in.The second Toyota developed an electrical issue with the radio after about a month, the rotors and pads were obviously on their last leg and lasted less than 6 months before having to be replaced.Bob knows the game well and does cheap patch jobs on Toyotas and sells them at a good mark up. The fact that we bought 2 vehicles from him and both vehicles had issues almost out of the gate should be a red flag.I would HIGHLY suggest taking any vehicle of bobs you are considering purchasing, to an independent mechanic, and I would request a car fax.

Went to see about getting a part fixed on my truck and the refused to work on it because i purchased my new part thru the dealership and not them. Very unprofessional and disappointing

I just stopped in with a engine light on and within seconds, Clint had it diagnosed and fixed. turned out to just be a loose connection but it could have been worse. Very grateful for the fast and friendly service. was back on the road in seconds and happy as can be.

I asked Bob about exhaust pipe soot on a used car he had for sale. I said that what Ive read is that its a symptom of engine wear. He said no, half his cars for sale probably had blackness in exhaust pipe--not a problem, or something to that effect. I said, Thats your opinion. He said, Were done here, and walked away. I doubt that Id ever look for a used car there if thats his typical manner toward a customer.

Bought a 2002 Toyota Prius back home in NC less than a week ago - had it checked out by my trusted family mechanic beforehand, and besides a few basic things (new tire, AC recharge, surpintine belt), it checked out great. Driving to Iowa to study for my medical licensing exam in a month, I stopped at a rest stop to sleep for a few hours, left the car running (not sure if thats bad thing with hybrid), woke up to check engine light. Stopped twice at an OReillys and Autozone to check the codes and then check the 12V battery... the battery seemed to be overheating somehow. Stopped every 50 miles to let the battery cool, scared Id mess up the battery.Luckily, the family Im staying with here in Fairfield has bought several cars from Bobs, including a Prius (much newer than mine :), and recommended them highly. I brought my car there at 7am this morning, and I was very impressed with the shop and professionalism of all of the people that I interacted with. Although I had to leave it there and Im waiting to hear back, I pray that it is an easy fix, but I trust that I will be well taken care of. As my dad said when I told him about Bobs: bought a Prius, have trouble, find a great Prius shop in Fairfield, good Karma!
