I brought my vehicle for buffing and detailing before putting it up for sale. This shop did an outstanding job for reasonable price and time frame. I highly recommend this place. I cannot stress enough about how great of a job they did. When I dropped off my car it was noticeable wear and tear on the outside and inside after seven years of use and abuse from chipped paint and scratches to minor interior flaws. With the reasonable expectations and open mind I left the vehicle at the shop. Mr. Ian explained before hand which flaws will and will not be possible to fix, but let me tell you when the job was done it exceeded my expectations. I naturally do my homework and check many places before doing business with one. I am glad that I chose this place. Diligent work, competitive prices, good customer service. Ian and company provided amazing service, great communication and fast turn around on a fun project I got in my head. Gloss black roof, and Sublime green body. Though I couldnt get the exact color code as a wrap, I love this Gloss Grass Green from Avery Dennison. The Gloss Black is a 3M product.APS had great knowledge of the wrap products I was looking at and were able to source things quickly. Carlos did an amazing job with the installation, taking great care with a lot of fiddly bits.The end result speaks for itself.I wouldnt hesitate to take any of our vehicles here for detail and protection services. This is the type of small business you wish all places were like. Ian is one of the most humble, honest guys I’ve had to deal with in the automotive industry. When getting quotes from him about random items, I would have a number in my head. He would have the same number, if not a tad lower. If it were higher, there was a valid reason that he would explain. I had a lot of stuff done and there were a few little oversights here or there… which I brought up. He acknowledged them, had them fixed, and made up for them. He and all of his employees are highly approachable and respectful. I recommend this place to anyone in the area… I drove in from Alexandria.One recommendation: if you need to pick up your vehicle, I would call first and make sure that they say your car is in the front lot, ready for pickup. Nothing worse than showing up and something not being finished because they caught a snag somewhere… then having to wait or come back. This probably doesn’t happen in most cases if you come in for basic tint or spray, which they’ve already called you for pickup.

I take many of my older cars to APS (formerly Ziebart) for regular under-carriage inspections on my older cars, to ensure Im not developing underside rust.Matt and Ian have always been great to work with, and I recommend that you go there, if youre looking to get your vehicle treated for corrosion prevention.

Ian and the rest of the team were excellent. Price was very reasonable, and the work looks superb. I consulted Ian prior to getting the work done (window tint and PPF), and he was very informative about their products, services, and even gave some good recommendations.HOWEVER, I asked them to do the sun strip tint, but seems they forgot. So that is why I didnt give a 5 star. Fortunately, they didnt charge me for the sun strip job as it wasnt done, but it would have been nice if they remembered that we talked about applying the sun strip tint.As they do a good job, I will likely go back to them for other services. Ill let the sun strip thing slide this time.

Fantastic service and workmanship! We’ve used their services on numerous cars which we keep approximately 8 years.  Been using this shop for more than a decade- back when they were a franchisee affiliated with a different company.  Use both the paint and fabric protection.  Paint has never faded or oxidized and fabric has never stained.  Every time we take a car in it comes out looking new.  Always receive compliments, particularly as the cars get older.

If you want to get an undercoating, this is the place. They put a nice thick coat underneath. Highly recommend

A few months ago I brought my 4Runner there for rust treatment and prevention. They are one of the few rust professionals in the area. Even though Im typically a DIYer, I felt more comfortable having APS staff handle this. I plan on utilizing more services of theirs in the future.

I recently had a partial vinyl wrap done on my 2016 Ford F-150 by APS and I am thrilled with how it came out. My truck looks awesome. The nice thing is that their customer service matched the quality of the work they did for me. When I contacted them to schedule an appointment, the soonest time they had available was when I would be away on vacation. Since I was not taking the vehicle on vacation, they suggested that I drop it off before I leave and they would do the work and have it ready for me to pick up when I returned 2 weeks later. I really appreciated that since it allowed me to get the work I wanted done sooner and as a bonus I would not be without a vehicle. I would not hesitate recommending APS to anyone looking to get a vinyl wrap on their vehicle.

I needed some tint for an old car I just bought. I was at fault for not realizing and remembering that the back left door doesnt open. They immediately called me and asked me if I wanted to wait on this window until I fixed the door. I explained that the door isnt in the plans and they worked with me to install it even though its 1000 times more difficult, but made sure to mention that the quality that they like to work at might not be 100% on that window. I gladly agreed and when I picked it up, it looked PERFECT! The amazingly nice technician actually got the door to open and fixed part of it so now my door opens! Totally unexpected and way above and beyond. I really appreciate their talented technicians that can pull this off with a broken door and the superior customer service. Not to mention the great explanation and demonstration they have for the different glass tint types. Highly recommend.

APS in Fairfax is worthy of more than 5 stars. I spent several weeks calling around to numerous shops in the area, inquiring about their ceramic protection and prep process, as well as pricing. By far, Fairfax APS was the best all around value. I had a full paint correction and IGL Kenzo application on my Jeep Rubicon and it looks unbelievable. I’m also confident that this product will hold up well given the positive online reviews of Kenzo IGL. Both Matt and Ian took their time explaining to me all details in separate conversations. And Ian even went so far as to tell me if there were any issues his shop would address them. I negotiated a good deal on having all three of my cars undercoated and rust proofed with two of them getting window tint. Very professional and the window tint that was done on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2020 RAM 1500 looked perfect - blended the front door glass tint with the factory tint on the rear glass just right. Very impressed with their operation.

I had the undercoat service completed on my 2008 FJ Cruiser and APS did an incredible job.

I would highly recommend APS and will be referring my co-workers and friends. I brought a used 2014 f-150 in to have the undercoating applied because my last truck rusted out horribly. I went for a consultation and to get a feeling for the services and prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful and explained the process and showed me some trucks they were currently working on. I also decided to have my truck tinted there because I heard they have the best ceramic window tint and know how to apply it correctly. They originally quoted 3 days without my truck but were able to work with me and reduce the turn around time to 2 days. No problems whatsoever. The window tint looks very good and was installed nicely. The undercoating is the real magic. All the frame, bolts, wiring covers and wheel wells were coated and the truck looks brand new from the factory underneath. Not many places will do undercoating and those that will use cheap rubber that will advance rust, not inhibit it. The rust inhibitor they apply to stop rust and seal it from spreading is a necessary step most places dont do and dont know about. I will be returning for respray/touch-ups and also maybe a detail inside.

Customer service is to notch! Theyre patient in explaining the types of window tint that they offer and are easy to talk to. The quality of the work done was outstanding as well. The window tint is up to the edge of the window and looks like factory tinted windows. They also offer a discount to first responders.

Absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Sent car over for clear bra removal and deep clean to make sure the clear bra area matched the exposed area of the car which is a 2011. I received a number of much higher quotes ( think 2X higher) and a number of caveats from some other vendors. Ian was fantastic and the car looks brand new. No hassles and on time. Happy to pay him. If you have ever lost a car to a rusty undercarriage, when everything else is perfect, you will understand how important this rating and recommendation.Service Requested: This is a well maintained older vehicle and I did not want to lose it to a rusty undercarriage. I requested the undercarriage be treated for rust and sealed with undercoat.This part is my initial review: The staff is professional and answered some tough questions. The appointment is scheduled.This is my follow up review upon picking up my Keepsake Cruiser, and I have a great things to say:1. The rust-inhibitor with undercoat sealant was done promptly,2. APS staff took the time from a busy schedule to put my vehicle on one of their lifts and go over the undercarriage work with me, and the work looks well done, very neat,3) my brakes linings were protected, covered, i.e., taped off to prevent oil on the brake linings, as was the exhaust system, should not be undercoated and wasnt,4) the shop is very clean, maintained to be dust-free, and most importantly;5) the shop personnel were very professional, polite, helpful as were Matt and his colleague handling the intake process.Frankly, with all of the salt and sand put out to protect traffic during snow in the Washington area, this was a small price to pay to protect this car for many years to come. This is also a very small price to pay when compared to replacing a vehicle.I am so glad WB Motors recommended Automotive Protection Services to me to have this work done.Oh, and if you have an older car and want to baby it fully, this shop is applying the new ceramic coating and have a line of vehicles, old and new, waiting for their appointment. I contacted several local shops for paint protection film, ceramic coating, and window tinting for my new car, and heard back from Ian at APS very quickly. He was very helpful in patiently answering my questions and providing guidance on what would be best for my car. I never felt pressured, and I’m very happy with the products we selected. The price was very reasonable compared to other shops. Even though the car was very low-mileage, APS did a thorough detailing and paint correction. When I picked up the car, it was flawless. They clearly took great care in detailing, applying the PPF and ceramic coating, and window tint. I highly recommend APS.

Took in my 2012 Ford F150 SuperCrew for an interior detail. My dog is always in and out of the truck so there was a crazy amount of dog hair in practically every nook and cranny, crease and seam. Plus the normal wear and tear and grit and grime that accumulates over ~5years Ive had it. Worked out a price that was fair to both of us and within the day I had my truck back. Honestly, looking brand new.
