At first I was skeptical about their employee navigator system but all more concerns were quickly resolved. BBG is the true definition of too good to be true. When they first walk into your place of business, it will seem as though there is no better insurance broker in the world. However, once you have begun going through the process of open enrollment and have selected new benefits for your employees, things begin to take a turn. BBG has been extremely unprofessional from the moment we began open enrollment with them. Our rates went up 11% due to a mistake by BBG that theyre now not owning. Our employees are extremely disgruntled and BBG has been of no help to rectify the situation. Im disappointed a company that prides themselves on being the best in the business for small companies would allow for such an error that could seriously impact any company, let alone a small business! After BBG made such errors, I began calling around to the different health care providers, and soon learned that were not the only ones who are not happy with BBG services. This is something I wish I knew ahead of time, but BBG seemed so professional and helpful in the beginning that I didnt think to question it. If in the future you find yourself in need of an insurance broker, PLEASE call around and do your research! And most importantly, please call the insurance companies themselves and ask them to rate BBG!
