Had my 1992 Mercedes-Benz 600sel for 5 months to do repairs. Purchased a new engine and the check engine light is still on. Removed my catalytic converters and never told me. Mentioned it to Reese and he told me that one was bad and he put one in my trunk. Showed the converter to a friend of mine and he told me that the converter that Reese gave me did not come off my car. I purchased several parts for my car online and gave them to Reese. I told Reese if any parts were changed to put the old parts in my trunk.. Most of those parts were never found. I purchased a power steering pump that they installed that is leaking fluid under my car. My self closing doors dont even work anymore.. The crazy thing about all this is that they called me and told me my car was ready. I would not recommend anyone to that place of business. My car was in better condition before I took it there.
SCAMER. my bmw x3 was shutting off duty to a bad floater in the gas tank. I was told the whole fuel assembly was changed and fuel filter. When I recieved my car he told me once I got to a quarter tank I should fill the car. That bmws always have bad gauges. He claims to have changed the fuel pump. But does this look like a new fuel pump to you?
Reese and his crew are very good at what they do, very thorough and very clear at explaining what needs to be done. His prices are reasonable. We take all of our cars to Fairfax Service Center.
They lie and say they can fix your car and then when they have it they will tell you that their is so many different things wrong with your car when its not and still try to charge you for them knowing they are wrong never use this garage
Fair price, professional staff. Excellent all around. Thanks for fixing up my 328XI
I was a first time ‘would be’ customer to this business and this was my first interaction with this them. I made an appointment for service and gave contact information during the appointment call. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was ignored by staff in the parking area, and there was no one at the service counter for the 15 minutes while I waited to check in at the directed time. No one ever showed up behind the counter to help me or to check me in. My first acknowledgment was by a mechanic who rudely told me to move my car. All the parking spaces were full, so I asked him where I could move it to and he said ‘I don’t know. You just need to get it out of the way.’ I left the establishment immediately.
If you want trust and dependability in your vehicle without looking under your hood. This is the #1 rated spot for all your needs. If youre dissatisfied, Ill give you $100.
These guys are great...their prices are reasonable, their work is great and they care about the customer. I a good wrench, but have gotten too old to do my own work so I am knowledgeable around cars and this shop is FIRST RATE!
They’re consistent in providing excellent service. I trust them and their knowledge implicitly. They also go the extra mile for anything you need. They always give me a ride home or pick me up which I greatly appreciate! I’m nearby, about 1.5 miles. They also always offer me a loaner.
First time visitor and I am very, very impressed.....only needed an oil change on my MB E350 and they were quick and professional. Price is competitive with other quotes, and certainly cheaper than a dealer. Waiting area and the maintenance shop are very clean and organized....a good sign that they have their act together. Super nice staff.
Fantastic Service -GO THERE!I had some serious issues with my transmission, and The Fairfax Service Center was there for me. They are kind, courteous, and communicative. They were able to order the parts needed and have everything installed and ready to go within a few days. I will never go to the dealership again when there is such a wonderful, certified shop nearby that can help me ten times over. I believe they are family owned - and it shows! I feel proud to be able to support a local business that truly deserves the accolades.Dont hesitate to give them your business - its completely worth it.
They fix my 528IX breaks for half of the cost at the dealerships, and fixed truck faulty signal issues for free. The owner / Master mechanic and his wife and all other technicians in the shop are courteous, honest, helpful, and very knowledgeable . Very happy with their services and Ill never look back dealerships to have served / fix my BMW. I highly recommend!
Reese and his crew are the best at what they do - that is care for clients and fix cars well. we are continually happy with the work and the service here. Someone recommended his shop to us and Im glad they did!
Great shop! Honest and professional. Reece has worked on my BMWs for years and I am satisfied with each service/repair that his shop performs.Trust and honesty are vitally important to me and Reece and the employees at Fairfax Service Center exemplify that each time I visit the shop (Even when I stop by to talk a little shop and preventive maintenance.)An added bonus is that Fairfax Service Center accepts customer supplied parts.
Most honest repair shop i have ever dealt with. Reese fixed my car one day early and charged me less the the quote. Highly recommended. I am now heading back to jersey a happy man.
Reese works on my E55 Mercedes and is a fair & honest businessman. He does not try to rip you off by selling you services you dont really need. He is not just a parts changer but can properly diagnose your car. His pricing is very fair, the work is at least as good as any dealership, if not better, and they care about their customers as well as their cars. They are definately Car Guys!
This was my first trip to Fairfax Service Center after a few frustrating years of working through warranty and non-warranty issues with the BMW dealership.I experienced a high degree of professionalism every step of the way from scheduling the appointment, explaining the details of my service appointment and informing me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. The price was fair and definitely a better than the dealership. I would recommend FSC.
Excellent service. Knowledgable and straight forward identifying the problems. Service is very personal too.
Fairfax Service Center truly believes in providing the highest quality of service at competitive pricing while always putting the customer first! This place is not in the business of making a quick buck, they truly strive to provide the best quality services while putting the customer’s safety first... which is so important!!! I recently took my car into FSC as I believed there was a coolant leak. FSC looked at it and gave me a call telling me that the coolant leaked into the engine and destroyed it. Not only that, but that the transmission might be damaged too... nothing anyone could have done to identify it sooner and the year and model of my car has a reported history for this exact problem(2000 323ci). But FSC was honest to tell me they would not recommend putting money into the car and to not do the work. I respect their honestly and straight forwardness so much and to top it all of, they didn’t even charge me for the time they spent looking at it. I’m tempted to get another BMW just so I can keep going to FSC... that’s how much I love this place and these people! Without question, I HIGHLY recommend Fairfax Service Center.
The Fairfax Service Center is an outstanding place to take your vehicle. I have brought my SUV to this center on several occasions, and every time they have provided me with exceptional customer service. They took their time to fix my car right. Thank you Fairfax Service Center!
We have been going to Fairfax Service Center for over 20 years. Its a family run business, and I love the personal care. Whenever they can offer a money saving alternative to some of the expensive service procedures, they do. At the same time they abide by all of the manufactures recommended services. Their guys are fully factory trained and get training on new features. They are reliable. I trust them with both my Mercedes e-class cars. And in the past with my BMW.
Wasted my time. I went in there just for a quick task which was to change my headlight bulb. They made me wait for 45 mins and then just seemed like they did not have the time or did not care enough to do the task. I was willing to pay money but they obviously did not want the business.
Fan blade came off of when it locked up immediately after repair and dented hood badly. They then made appropriate repair and denied responsibility and would not fix hood. I dont find them trustworthy or reliable as a previous shop owner.. Less stars are deserved.
Excellent techs and customer service. Honest and fair pricing. They like and know German cars.
Much better than any of the BMW franchises in Northern VA and much friendlier too.
Love this place. Read some trashy reviews of people who cant seem to recognize good people when they meet them. This place is excellent.
Good customer service and nice people;I love their honesty, their superior treatment and the clean place and light meal, water and drinks. they are really generous.
Brought my recently purchased 2001 Z3 in for its first oil change and had the driver seat repaired so it wouldnt slip when braking. The dealer across the street quoted me $2700 for a new seat assembly. FSC told me that theyve seen that problem before and it was matter of changing the bushings. The final price was $350. I appreciate FSCs honesty in this matter and theyve won my business for as long as I own the Z3.
Good customer service until you are not satisfied or the work hasn’t been done. I was there to remove the dinan software from my car to install another one but wasn’t done properly .called and the owner told that he did his part and it’s done I tried to reschedule appt but no follow up. So I just went to bmw Sterling and I paid again and NOW it’s done. The all year I couldn’t pass inspection just because he wouldn’t admit that the software update wasn’t successful. Other than that great reception and clean place.
Im no car aficionado, but being an early 2nd owner of a BMW 2006-750-IL is no small feat in terms of maintenance which is why Roundel mag. has officially nick-named this classic, the mechanics car. With that being said, honesty and responsibility are the two key words (ok, price to me is super important too) that you want from people working under the hood. With such a complicated car, I understand it is easy to get a diagnoses in error. we have all done that for sure. To have someone admit they over-looked something, or to take the extra time especially in sincerely trying to figure out the root cause of the problem at all, instead of replacing this and replacing that is worth GOLD/PLATINUM in my book. Just having the knowledge & experience in order to work around a related problem and identify what is important and what is not can be so helpful.Bottom line, they stand by their work and they sincerely care about the customers situation. Not only with me, but with other customers i see and talk to in the waiting room. Clean shop with the latest equipment. Good group of people who all like each other and work well together. Like a good restaurant, its worth the wait to get an appointment and even with that being said, along with their new web portal, they work with you to get your car in and out at your convenience.JD
I have been using this shop for years and love the timeliness and the quality of the service. I would recommend them to anyone.
I have two Mercedes Benz (1989 and 2002). The older one has been in the care of Fairfax Service Center (FSC) for 22 years and now has 380,000 miles. The work done by this Center has been superb since the first day that I arrived. The second car has been in the care of FSC since 2004. My experience, again, has been superb in every respect - prompt service, fair estimates, careful inspections, and flawless driving performance. I highly recommend FSC to any driver, whose goal is safety, performance, and long-lasting vehicles.
I scheduled a service with this dealership and when I arrived the service tech said, you didnt request a loaner vehicle. He then asks me which service am I having and then goes to get info from my vehicle. When he returns he says, you need an A service and we dont give loaners for A service. I asked why and he says, because A service takes 2.5 hours but we give loaners for B service because they take over 4 hours. I said that I was ok with that but would like shuttle service back to the military installation which was about 10 miles away. He proceeds to tell me their shuttle service only goes out 5 miles. I told him that was ludicrous that they dont give a loaner but more outrageous that they only go 5 miles. This is a luxury car dealership will only shuttle customers 5 miles. Needless to say I will never go to the dealership again I would not recommend customers that are Mercedes owners to go to this dealership for their services. Just imagine if this is how they treat their customers after you purchased a vehicle from them save yourself the trip of going to this dealership.
Friendly, professional and reasonable prices for car repairs etc etc.
1990bmw535i, 1995bmw740il, 2003X5, 2006bmw750li, MB2006slk, MB2006clk500 all have been taken care of by the Reese team at the center, over the past 12 years. Trust, honesty and integrity, with reasonable prices makes me come back time and time. Other places may be $100 cheaper and I have, in true honesty tried them as well. Even though my office is less than 2miles away, requested for a loan (Dinan) and I got it. Now I am thinking of getting another vehicle and Dinaned.
Good customer service .and the owners rock and the manager.
Excellent service. They really know thier stuff!!!
Sky high prices, dishonest and unprofessional work.
