The staff at this property is phenomenal. The office staff are all friendly and quick communicators. The maintenance team is unreal. Ive had less than 3 reasons to ask for any assistance but each time they found something extra to spruce up in the apartment. No wonder the community feels so organized. If youre looking for a stress free place to live in Fairfax look no further.

Ive lived in this complex for 5 years. Theyve always taken care of us, and have always been kind and accommodating.Maria at the front office is not only an absolute sweetheart-but shes phenomenal at her job and is always willing to go above and beyond. We havent had any issues with the office staff (theyre all fantastic) and Marcus is an awesome community manager. He knows us by name, and clearly hes talented at leading his team.The maintenance team is also fantastic, and Jimmy their supervisor always makes sure things are done right, and in a timely fashion. The maintenance guys also explain what their doing-and if its a simple fix, they tell you how to do yourself in case it happens again. I cannot recommend this community enough. Ive lived in many different complexes, and Fair Lakes outshines them all by miles.

I thought they were quiet apartments with a very good life, but as soon as you enter building 12563 (next to the Camden office), for example, you get a bad smell of marijuana almost always at noon and be listening to people who do not respect after 11pm, making noises, banging on walls, and like they were fighting or drunk. On the part of the office they only send notes they say and they do nothing when one informs them at the moment that the mentioned situations are happening. And I know, the solution is to find another place, but I really hope it gets better, and not worse, because it is a well located place.

The staff is very friendly, Susie is very nice and responsive anytime I reach out but I’ve spoken to everyone in the office and they all seem to be very helpful and professional. The maintenance team seems great and very friendly as well. The location is perfect for where I work.

Needing short term (under a year) housing we chose Camden Fair Lakes and enjoyed our time there. The management team was very easy to work with. The response to service requests was timely and the maintenance crew was great-professional and courteous. Overall, we had a great experience with Camden. Neighbors were good and we found it to be a relatively quiet complex.

This has been my favorite apartment complex Ive ever lived at. Torice and the rest of the office have always been super helpful and accommodating, which is why Ive chosen Camden Fair Lakes 3 separate times. I have and will continue to recommend this community to family and friends.

After 2 ½ years of living at Camden Fair Lakes, I’ve just signed my third lease for another 13 months. For about a month before signing, I looked around at other apartments to see if there might be something better out there. There isn’t. Camden Fair Lakes checks all the 5-star boxes in all departments—low noise levels, great location with four large shopping centers plus Fair Oaks Mall within a 10-minute drive, very low traffic footprint, and wooded sections with excellent landscaping that provides large “green” areas. But first and foremost is the high level of response by management to any issues which may arise. A request for any maintenance issue from repairing an oven or unclogging a sink to changing a light bulb (yes, they will replace your light bulbs) with be responded to within one to two days. This is in sharp contrast to reviews of other properties by tenants at those properties.Apparently, Camden Fair Lakes has a very excellent customer service training program for all of its employees, from the property management to its maintenance engineers. They are all high competent, professional and courteous to the tenants. Camden Fair Lakes definitely earns a lot of “atta boys.” Anyone in the military knows what that means.

Went up on a weekend to tour several apartments in the area, and Matt was the most enthusiastic and informative out of all the tour guides I had! The apartments were rather nice and at a good value, and any questions I had Matt knew the answers to. Still not sure if I will be living here or not, but if I do, I know I will be in good hands and have a great place to live with great staff. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the area and buildings are.

The staff and the apartments are very nice. I have no complaints and I wish could copy and paste it to my next location.The main issue most people have here is the trash & lack of a locker for packages.

Today I received my free mid lease carpet cleaning! The cleaners were super sweet and completed my townhome under an hour. I love that Camden offer this perk which I have never received from another apartment complex, this is awesome! I definitely will be recommending this location to fellow soldiers! Marcus and his team are ROCKSTARS! During my time at Camden Fair Lakes I was always provided excellent service, timely maintenance, and great amenities, even during COVID. They are always happy to answer questions and genuinely want to see happy residents, thanks Marcus and team!

We have lived at Camden for almost 2 months now and we are breaking our lease because it is so terrible. It says it is a nonsmoking facility BUT IT IS NOT. We see people smoking almost daily and our hallway constantly smells like cigarette smoke. With someone with Asthma and two small children, it is horrific to have to experience second hand smoke daily.When we arrived to move in, our apartment smelled of cigarette smoke and we were unable to stay there the first night and had to find other arrangements last minute. Once we were able to move in, we noticed the place had not been cleaned, crusty stuff on carpet, pee stained in the toilets, dirty showers/tubs. It was gross. We told maintaince and they said they would have the cleaning people come. Maintaince asked what time would be good and we said anytime besides 1-3pm. Well believe it or not, 3 days later, the cleaning crew showed up at 2:00pm so we sent them away because at that point we had already cleaned and it was in the exact time we asked them not to come.Do not try to get ahold of the front desk because you will wait on hold for 30 minutes and then the person you need to talk to will not be available. When you request a call back...do not expect it.Also, packages are constantly being reported as being stolen, reports of kids taking pictures of little kids in the pool and trying to swim under the little girls legs. People also leave their trash in the hall for days even when valet is not picking up trash over the weekend. Absolutely disgusting.We have contacted the front desk several times about our horrible experience here and they have done nothing to resolve it besides say we can pay an ungodly amount to break our lease.STAY AWAY! We are paying a premium to live here and still decided to pay the $5500ish cancellation fee to break the lease because it is a terrible community and we do not feel safe here with little kids. Of course management does not care and will not waive any cancellation fee so we are out a ton of money. Again, STAY AWAY!!

It was a nightmare to wake up everyday and to see all the mess in the apartment. Every week we put in a request for pest control. Orkin guys came to my apartment multiple times but couldn’t get rid of it.Then Jimmy came to our rescue, when we were tired of working with Orkin. And I must say that during these two months he followed up regularly, used all the tricks in the book to solve the issue, and yesterday he caught the mouse:-)Thanks Jimmy for all your persistent efforts and your hardwork. My husband and I just moved into Camden and it has been a great experience from the moment we walked in to view an apartment to the point of moving in! Susie was helping us with our tour and move in and she has been great and very attentive, which is something very important to us. We are very excited to be a part of this community and call this place home!

Highly recommend touring this place if you are looking in this area. The gym is huge! The complex is really nice and not old. The 1BR apartments are nicely laid out that makes the SQ FT seem bigger than it is. You definitely get your moneys worth here, and there is ample parking for residents AND visitors.The only complaint is the constant contacting from Mat at the leasing office, the calls and texts dont seem to stop and are over the top :-)

Definitely a great place to live! The staff members are very friendly and greet you with a smile every time. I’ve lived here for a few weeks now and had a smooth move-in process. The grounds crew and courteous workers are quick to respond to such issues. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I was checking out several communities within the area and met with Matt, he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately I was only able to view one of the apartments in person however we did talk about the grounds & the amenities that they had, one of which are to dog parks!

This is a nice apartment complex that provides a lot of amenities to the residents. The units are clean and updated. The Club house is awesome with theater with projector and chairs that can sit 30 people. Party room is large and open. The pool is nice although small. Locker room has only 1 shower so dont plan to rinse off there after swimming.

The apartment complex itself is nice. People are friendly and the apartments are nicer than some in the area. Like any place, it has some imperfections. The wooden balconies are not smooth and either require you to either wear shoes or buy an outdoor carpet to cover it or you might get splinters. HOWEVER The real issue is that packages are stolen here constantly. The leasing office does nothing to mitigate this other than to tell us to have our packages delivered elsewhere (amazon locker, UPS store, etc.). Especially during a pandemic, that is not a reasonable solution. We are not allowed to have door cameras. We had $198 worth of medicine for our dog stollen from the mail box area in our apartment two days ago. And nothing will be done to resolve this issue.

I love living at Camden Fair Lakes. The apartments are really nice, they have great amenities, the location is perfect as it’s surrounded with shopping centers and the staff is really awesome. My leasing consultant was Uju and she made our moving process super easy, she is always willing to answer any questions that we have. I definitely recommend these apartments.

Uju helped us find our perfect apartment to call home! She was great to work with when signing our lease and answering questions. All other staff we’ve encountered seem to be as friendly and professional! Our apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean and well lit. We’re very happy with our decision and how easy the lease signing and move-in process has been.** My only complaint is that we had a package stolen within the first few weeks of living here. This seems to be an ongoing issue for this community, but knowing the Camden brand and the great staff they have here, I’m hopeful that there will be a sustainable solution to this problem soon.

I lived at Camden Fair Lakes for 3 consecutive years, and only moved out when I bought a home. The leasing agents are incredibly efficient and great communicators. The maintenance team is always quick to respond, friendly, and caring. Anytime we had a request or concern, it was addressed immediately. The office is easy to contact via phone or email and make an effort to make sure their residents are happy. Personally, I had several different roommate and apartment transitions during my time at Camden and the office staff ensured that my transition was seamless every time. I have recommended Camden Fair Lakes to several friends and will continue to do so.

We’ve lived here for 2.5 years now and have loved it here. The apartments and amenities are nice and the front desk and maintenance are amazing. They are all super friendly and are here within the day with any service requests. Would definitely recommend!

Camden was officially my first apartment after leaving the nest. Despite having many questions about the process and daily living, the Camden staff were VERY patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. When it comes to standards of living, Im admittedly very high maintenance. Luckily, I rarely had any issues with the apartment itself, but the one time I did, the maintenance team was at my door less than a hour after I submitted the request. Other great things to note are the sense of community. Before Covid, there were ton of events, my favorite being the free desserts or gift wrapping around the holidays. Even if some of the more personal events are postponed, you can still follow them and other residents on their social site. Definitely worth checking out!

My boyfriend and I just moved in two days ago, so I can’t say much about our living experience yet. However, our move-in process was VERY easy, and our apartment was in great condition upon arrival. Uju was so friendly and made everything seamless for us, it felt like we were communicating with a friend rather than a leasing office! So far this experience has been five stars for sure and I have a good feeling it will continue to be so throughout our lease term.

I just moved in, so my review is on the process of moving in. The leasing consultant, Uju was super helpful throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond to answer questions and provide us the information that we were seeking. She has checked up on us two times since moving in as well. I met Marcus, the manager and he was super kind and helpful too. So far, our experience has been positive.

Our self-guided tour was fantastic! The process of receiving the apartment keys/community map was very easy and management staff was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. Management did a fantastic job of following up with our visit and working with us on leasing options that fit our apartmetn search needs best. In addition to the support from staff, the apartment was beautifully updated and the community is set in a quiet, green area that is close to shopping centers.

My boyfriend I have lived here for over two years and we love it. We’ve never had any issues at all and anytime we ever needed anything, Uju and the team at the office have always been there readily available to help. As an off-campus college student, Camden offers great amenities that many places don’t. As we wrap up 2019, I wanted to leave a quick note about my move-in at Camden. On a short timeline, I walked into the main office after finding the property via Google Maps. They had a floor plan I was interested in and looked like it could fit exactly what I envisioned. Markus took me over to a unit that would be similar to one I could have within the next couple of weeks. One note here, he did keep saying the unit I was seeing was an exact mirror image of the unit I would get and this ended up being nearly false. While the floor plan was effectively reversed, mine ended up with a bigger kitchen and windows. This does play into decision making and should have been brought up.The following couple of days, Uzu and Susie were lifesavers. After a quick turnaround on paperwork, they worked with me to get the first months rent turned in and went out of their way to make this happen. I have a special circumstance and while initially frustrated, they soon came to understand and helped me out. I greatly appreciate their flexibility and willingness to help me. I’m glad to finally be settled after a year’s worth of travel. As with all rental properties, there are things that need to be fixed or paid attention to, Susie did a great job of addressing any concerns I had with the unit, since I didn’t get to see it before I moved in.I’ll continue to update if this pattern of behavior changes, so far so good!

I lived at the apartments for about a year and a half and I never really had any issues with the place. I was in college and it was my first apartment so I didnt really know what to do, but the people in the leasing office were helpful, and Uju (one of the leasing agents) answered any questions I had and helped me through everything. Overall it was a nice first apartment experience!

This community has honestly been the best place I’ve lived since I moved to Virginia 5 years ago. I have amazing neighbors, the office team always goes above and beyond, and the community is well kept and maintained. Ive only had one maintenance issue and they came and took care of it immediately. The communication is great regarding preventative maintenance checks or things being done on the property. Its really important to enjoy coming home after a long day of work, and I can do that here.

Maintenance is extremely professional, courteous and very responsive to all of our needs. This is a beautiful community! The property is well maintained and it’s very welcoming. Matt was a great leasing consultant. He was knowledgeable and gave a great guided tour!

While the most common with most apartment living is lack of good maintenance support, I have now found after living a year at Camden Fair Lakes to be exceptionally responsive to every maintenance problem I have I had. Within 1-2 days of reporting a problem the maintenance techs have shown up to resolve it. The office staff is also great Marcus runs a great team and they are equally very responsive.

Living in Camden Fair Lakes is very pleasant experience. The apartments are pretty, and the maintenance staff makes sure everything is tip-top. The office staff is exceptional. They go out of their way to help you and are always very pleasant and cheerful. I have lived in this community since 2005 and in that time, I have not even researched other communities because Im happy here. Keep up the good work.

I love living here! The location is perfect, super close to everything you would need. Shopping, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, and entertainment. The team is amazing. Always ready to help when needed.

Visitor parking garage isnt safe. All 4 tires stolen off friends car last night. Zero help from Camden, apparently the third time this has happened in the past year.

It’s a pretty quiet complex and neighbors are friendly. There is a nice walking trail that’s easy to access and the gym is nice enough to not get a gym membership. My wife and I are always utilizing it. That’s always a nice perk. We’re on the first floor and have folks living above us who aren’t loud when they walk around either. The staff is friendly and willing to work with you. Uju and Torrice have helped us out when we needed and Matt has been great as well. It’s a safe place to live in our opinion. Hope this helps!

I’ve lived here for a bit over 2 years and have no complaints. Uju has always been responsive and super helpful any time I’ve had any concerns or needed help with anything. Maintenance is great they’re always friendly and communicative about problems. The amenities are perfect here the gym is nice and has enough equipment so that I didn’t even need to get a gym membership elsewhere. Plus, the location is unbeatable. Walking distance to anywhere you need to be. I’ve loved living here and wish it were feasible for me to renew my lease this fall. However, you get what you pay for and this is a very nice community, so higher prices are expected.

Matthew was extremely helpful and transparent in the process of explaining the finances involved with Camden properties. I definitely recommend talking to Matt if you are looking for an apartment within this price range.

Man oh man I am rather late on posting this but this is a shout out to Torice at the leasing office. I have had some rather outlandish request and services that I have needed help with and no matter what I came to her with she addressed the matter with the same energy that I would have liked. She works with compassion and empathy I feel. I have been at the Camden here for about a year and some change and have had NO issues. The surrounding neighbors are all respectful of the quiet hours and everyone is to themselves in a good way. I live right next to the pool area and still haven’t had any issues with noise like that at all. The maintenance team is on it and diligent and the manager across the hall he is supportive and very professional. If I didn’t have to make this move out of state I would be staying for the long haul at this location. Thank you for the memories and the service.

I have enjoyed my living experience at Camden Fair Lakes, from the mall, the groceries stores, shopping centers. The Maintenance staff, Jimmy, Lamin, Tien, and Fidel are great at their job and always willing to help. I will definitely recommend Camden Fair Lakes to anyone that is looking for a great living experience

I am a current resident at Camden Fair Lakes, everything that the property has to offer from the amazing office staff and maintenance staff is great. Everyone at the Camden Fair Lakes team is always willing to help and provide a helping hand. The community is well kept, and the team does a very well in making sure that it stays that way. Maintenance is very responsive with service requests and the office is great in keeping you updated on the status of your service requests, to the point that they send an email stating that your request has been completed and that if not completed well to contact me asap. I will definitely refer this community to friends and family that are looking for a great place to stay.

I advise you to stay away from this apartment complex. From problems with the apartment units themselves, the attitude of the management, and the ignorance of the other residents, Camden Fair Lakes is by far the most toxic community I have ever lived in. The management just cares about taking your hard-earned money and hiding fees left and right. Most notably, the general manager, Marcus, is entirely incompetent of running a safe, enjoyable community for you and your family to enjoy. There’s no gated entrance so Amazon packages get stolen all the time and the office with not hold them for you. Anyone can just drive in and roll through the parking lot erratically, potentially hitting your children. In fact, a women just got hit this week and the car did not stop. Since there is no security, the women may never know who hit her. As far as fees go, they are everywhere. In particular, they make you pay $30/month for Valet Trash collection services, but they often cancel for no particular reason and when they do come, there’s a chance they will forget to pick up your trash. When they do forget to pick up your trash, you will be fined the next day for leaving your trash out! On top of that, the residents pay for trash removal from the property. The Valet Trash dispose of the trash in the community dumpster, then the residents have to pay for the trash to be removed from the property. A lot of these charges are being pocketed by Camden. They also charge a fee to prepare the invoices each month, although it is done automatically by a computer system. As far as the management goes, don’t trust a word that they say. Uju, the lead leasing agent with several trophies on her desk, will pretend to be your friend. However, her one and only objective is to screw you over and get you to sign a lease that you will later regret. As for the condition of the units, while they were recently ‘upgraded’, the infrastructure is still old and you can hear every noise from the neighbouring apartments. You are likely to go a few days without heat, air-conditioning or hot water, as all of these appliances break periodically. Camden: Please do not reply to this post with some robotic response to make it seem like you care. If you want to run a better apartment complex, then change your actions.

They are in your side and try their best to find the best deal for you. I am a current employee of Camden and I work at a different community in the DMV area. I dont live onsite as I try to have a healthy work life balance, so its was important for me to choose a Camden community which tailors to my needs as a resident when not working. Camden Fair Lakes for me is a great community not only for its convenient location to everything that I do, but also because of the associates who work there. Every person that I have experienced as a resident from maintenance to the office staff has been very helpful and efficient with their level of service. Each time I have submitted a service request for maintenance, it was completed the very next day (I submit them at night through our resident portal while I am home). Each time I see someone from the office staff in passing, they are extremely friendly and smile. My favorite thing about choosing Camden Fair Lakes as my place to live is the spacious floor plans. If you are looking for convenience, a welcoming community and responsive staff, then Camden Fair Lakes is a great place to choose!

My experience with the Camden so far is limited to their customer service and a walkthrough of an apartment. My roommates and I greatly appreciated the customer service of Torice. She was on top of everything and had answers to any questions we had. We have not made a decision on where to live yet, but I can say this; the apartments appear nice, and the customer service was unmatched.

Hi community! I would like to say that Camden Fair Lakes, more than any other community I have ever lived in, has done more for their residents than any other in the Northern VA area. I have been living here since 2012. There have been numerous requests and service requests over the years. Without an issue, each and every request either met or exceeded my expectations! Why, because like their motto, Excellence in Living is what they aspire to do. Occasionally there may be situations that happen, but each and ever time, it is ALWAYS something that the resident has done or failed to do that resulted in their unhappiness. However, its consistency in operations that impress me. I renewed my lease recently, the crew that did the apartment cleaning did a superlative job. Not a request made by me, but a service that was provided as a gesture of appreciation for their residents. They have done this consistently over the years. Also, the new update with CHIRP is so convenient. It shows that they are working to modernize and make life simpler and more convenient for their residents. Very nice property. Has all the bells and whistles. The units have nice touches like frosted cabinets. The staff is was very friendly and prompt. A great choice and easy access to the metro.

Incompetent management. Leasing office can’t give anyone accurate dates about when the parking lot is being resealed and have had people moving their cars out of the community for the past month just to email us in the morning that the contractor couldn’t make it to the complex. Basically paying for parking and haven’t been able to use it overnight for the past month due to the office not being able to correctly schedule anything.People parking in the community without passes is a huge issue that nobody seems to care about. There is no towing company to call and residents have figured this out and allow their guests to take parking in the community.Valet trash is $35/month and sometimes they don’t pick up the trash or skip a building which is contributing to the growing number of large rats running through the complex. All the office says is we are aware of the rats and trying to treat the problem. Almost a year later and the rats are still hereDo better Camden!Did I mention the rats?

Camden is a great place to live. They regularly host events throughout the year that allow for the community to get to know each other. Being that I tend to talk a lot, it is nice meeting new people to bother so that I do not drive my roommates insane. I regularly sneak my friends from other apartments into these events so that they can get a feel of what a real apartment can be like. Any issue that I have ever come across has been resolved in a timely manner. The staff has always been helpful and friendly towards me. I have lived in Camden Fair Lakes for over two years and could not picture myself living in any other apartment community.

Uju was super helpful and the unit was great. Very accommodating and I would indeed recommend to anyone looking in the area.

Ive lived at Camden Fair Lakes for almost a year now and my experience has been wonderful. Camden is a great place to live. They have great amenities and the staff is awesome, very polite and friendly. I would highly recommend.

After suffering from a nightmare experience that was nowhere near move in ready earlier that morning at a different facility, Uju made sure I found a home that was readily available to my family that same day. I love my home and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. From the ladies in the leasing office( Uju and of course Susie too) as well as maintenance everyone has been on top of their game. I’m excited to embark on a new journey and see what else Camden has in store for us(:

Cheaply renovated to increase prices. From day one every one in the office is never on the same page. Make sure when you sign your lease you realize that they will charge you for the day you move out ON TOP of the monthly. Therefore my lease wasnt 15 months, it was 15 months and a day. Clearly made my move out date October 1 so they could collect an extra pay day rather than making it Sept 30. They painted over mold instead of taking care of the problem. Car was towed after being in contact with office and they assured me it would not be. If you come home around 7/8 oclock better buy reserved parking for an additional 30$ because you wont find a spot close. Pool was dirty/cloudy the first month and a half of summer. The location gives it the two stars. I have never written a poor review, but my experience at Camden has compelled me to do so. Save your money, look else where. There are a variety of fees that fluctuate through out your renting. You pay for valet trash but on top of that 10-20 extra dollars a month for trash.

The leasing consultant Carlos was very professional and not too pushy. Speaking with him was easy, and he answered all of my questions knowledgeably and was able to show me the amenities and the available unit I was interested in. I will be heavily considering Camden at Fair Lakes due to the quality of the facility as well as the professional staff.

I recently looked into Camden Fair Lakes for my new apartment. I met with Carlos Cruz. He was very friendly, gave a great tour and was knowledgeable about the apartment/amenities. He saved the gym area as the last stop on the tour. I see why! The gym is amazing. Icing on the cake. Thank you Carlos. I am working on my application now!

This complex has given me one of the best apartment living experiences ever. In particular, Uju was one of the kindest and most capable staff members we have ever worked with. She always got everything done correctly and timely while keeping us well informed. The whole staff is amazing and just as good, but we worked with Uju a lot, so I have to point out her superior service. The maintenance staff is also amazing! Everything ran smoothly here, and I will miss being a resident so much.

Camden Fair Lakes has the best customer service. It is great place to live. They have 24-hour maintenance. They will always address every issue that you have and give detailed explanation on what is going on. The community manager Marcus Mason is the best ever, he will always communicate with you and always acknowledges you when he sees you around the community. Everyone from the office (Susie, Uju, Torice, and Matt) are great and are always willing to help with any issue that you have. The maintenance staff (Jimmy, Lamin, Tien, Del, and Fidel) are always great as well. They also have a great 24 hour customer service after hours. I will definitely recommend this community to anyone that is looking for a great place to live in the Fairfax area. Its in a great location and more!

This place had everything I needed. Pool access, 24 hour gym, reserved parking spots. The maintenance crew would always be available as soon as possible. Usually within 24 hours. The office has amazing staff. UJu by far has been the biggest help. The only downside was people never learned how to pickup after their pets. I went through at least 4 pairs of shoes. The staff even has tried to solve this issue by placing new pet waste stations throughout the property but sometimes you cannot change the way people are. Sometimes the occasional package gets lost as well. Overall had a pleasant experience.

FOR GOD SAKE STAY AWAY!!! They will be giving you your rent price, but they will charge you unexpected $100-200 each month additionally for every little thing they can think of! They are adding the fees and charges youve never heard of before! And you can do nothing about it, as they are completely not cooperative, they never listen and NEVER help a tenant - not a single time during our whole stay! Camden used to be a great place to stay, but now they are the most terrible community, with high levels of criminal cases, neighbors listening to loud music at night and smoking weed all day long. Mail is being stolen, cars are being robbed. Now when we moved out, they are trying to charge us $380 for carpet change, because THERE ARE STAINS!! Really???? There have been stains after 3 years of living??? Just dont make mistake like many other of their tenants - stay away, if dont want to be super disappointed and unhappy during your whole stay there. I regretted moving in there 100 times! Yes, and prices are much higher than the average in the area!! So no, no and no!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE living at Camden Fair Lakes!! The apartments are beautiful and the office staff is AMAZING, they will go out of their way to help you. On top of that, their maintenance team is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. If you’re looking for an apartment in the fairfax area I recommend them for sure!!!

Reading other tenants reviews has me in shock, I guess it depends with what building you were in. I should have written this review a long time ago but better late than never!I lived in Camden for 14 months and it was my first apartment, which I absolutely loved. Maintenance was always quick to fix stuff during the day, at night it took some time. There were a couple times our trash was not picked up one night or they came prior to when the pickup time was but that was fixed. I worked with almost everyone at the leasing office but I mainly received helped from Uju, who is awesome! My roommates and I had a three bedroom, two bath apartment. The vaulted ceilings really made the apartment feel bigger than it was. The kitchen pretty updated with a great big sink. The rooms and closets were all decent sizes and we dont really have much noise complaints. If youre living in an apartment, you should expect some noise once and a while. Our apartment was in a good location - we were near the entrance in the corner facing fairfax county parkway but blocked by some trees. Never really had issues with parking, rarely there no parking near our building. Overall, im happy having this place be my first apartment and I wish I could have stayed!The only reason Im not giving the complex 5 starts is because we had a lot of issues with our oven that had to be constantly fixed as well as our dryer. Would still highly recommend this place though!

Both my wife and I have been living at Camden Fair Lakes since its inception, going on 16 years. Starting back when the property was owned and run by Summit Properties to the present Camden. Although the staff has changed throughout the years, we have had nothing but positive experiences in our dealings with everyone associated with Camden and the property. This includes the property managers, leasing agents and the maintenance staff both past and present. We do not hesitate to recommend anyone looking for a comfortable and safe place to live in Fairfax and to visit the various Camden properties in the area of which we are very familiar.

The staff was professional and very helpful. The process was painless and fast. The apartments were clean and up to date.

Bad management. The apartment complex has a rodent problem rats and mice, due to the overall cleanliness of the complex. I recommend looking somewhere else. I will never live here again.

I have lived here for 4 years but will be moving out due to very high rent increase. Every year Ive lived here the rent has gone but significantly but this time it went but by more than 200 dollars.PROS:Gym: Very nice HUGE gym with new equipment for lifting and cardio and tons of light, they also have one of the updated water fountains you can use to fill your water bottlePool: Large pool with great lounge chairs only down side is it get VERY noisy with all the kiddos but I still love itMaintenance: they also come right on time and fix things ASAP. Never a hassleWalking trail: Trail that goes around the pond great for running or walking your dogStaff: helpful when you have questionsCONS:Price: High rent after being a good tenant year after year raising my rent higher and higherWalk ability: Cant walk to much but you can walk to safeway, movies and tj maxx, carpool if you are careful!Overall I would be staying if the rent didnt increase so much because I love the area.

Torice at the leasing office made my move in process super easy. I was away for training and was able to do the entire process online. Everyone Ive met in the neighborhood has been friendly and the property is very well maintained.

Good customer service. There is an easy online rent paying system; whenever something breaks, maintenance is in that day or the next day to fix it; valet trash system; and has its own shuttle system to take you to the metro so you dont have to ride public buses. I just dont like the lack of parking and the parking spaces seem unnormally small. I also dont think my stairs are hallway to my apartment have been power washed in years. Despite very minor complaints, I still enjoy living here and would recommend it to others.

I’m a current employee of Camden, however I currently live at Camden Fair Lakes. The office staff (especially Uju) helped me and my family during our leasing and move-in process. They are always willing to help with any issues that you may have. The maintenance staff are prompt and always willing to help with any service request that me and my family may have. The grounds are nicely kept and as well as the apartments throughout the community. The staff tries to provide different community events to get residents engaged and to help them to get to know your neighbors. I will refer Camden Fair Lakes to friend and family.

Management is not there. Maintenance team does a great job but over all would not recommend. Dirty place.

Have absolutely loved my experience Ive had so far with Camden Fair Lakes. Uju has been incredibly helpful every step of the way. From setting up appointments to view, filing initial paperwork, to getting us acquainted with amenities like the 24 hour gym and clubhouse, all the way to getting me my own reserve parking spot. The rent is very reasonable for the area and the spaces are perfect for whatever situation you might be looking for whether its living alone or with a few friends. Would highly recommend coming by and checking out their options, and make sure that when you do you ask for Uju. This complex is right in the middle of all the action in Northern Virginia!

So. Loud. Im convinced its just the cheap shoddy construction as weve had 3 different upstairs neighbors and can hear every. single. footstep. I cant believe weve just happened to be unfortunate enough to have 3 neighbors in a row who stomp everywhere they walk. Ive never experienced anything like this and Ive lived in apartments for 18 years. Management obviously cant do anything about it. Besides that, inconsiderate neighbors who leave trash and dog poop all around. People fly through the parking lots. People constantly (multiple times per day) complaining about stolen packages, right from their front door, management wont even entertain the idea of security cameras. Just literally the worst experience Ive ever had.

Ceiling collapsed due to water coming in from the floor above us. Maintenance said they would come and shut the water and electricity off so as to avoid a fire. They took several hours to come. I had to provide basic instruction to the maintenance person on where and how to turn off the flow of water and the electricity. This place is run and maintained very poorly but only since the community manager changed a few years ago. Under previous management it was a great place to live.

10 Stars!!I have lived here since June 2018.The leasing office and maintenance staff are wonderful.I have to give a special sentiment to Uju for being so patient, understanding, professional and resourceful.Ujus assistance during my relocation to Fairfax seem effortless.
