They got the tires I needed overnight (specialty trailer tire in load range G). Mounted balanced and on my way no fuss no muss gotta like that. The price was good not great but fair. Id use them again should the need arise.

I have been a Grismer customer since 2006. I am an accomplished “home mechanic” who has been working on cars for over 45 years. I have tens of thousands of dollars of tools in my shop, including an automotive lift. I am the “go to” guy car guy in my family and friend circle and can make most repairs on my own. That being said, there are times that I do not have band width or expertise to make a repair, or a friend needs a referral to a trustworthy mechanic. There are very few companies that I trust to complete repairs honestly and efficiently. Grismer Tire, and particularly Grismer in Fairborn, is one of my favorite places to recommend. Patrick and Chris will take good care of you, and I’ve watched Shane perform nearly “magic” on several cars/trucks I’ve taken to Grismer. This all comes from the top level in the company. Grismer is honest, fair priced, and you can count on them to get your car fixed and back on the road.

Great place! I took a flat tire up to them and, first of all, one of the mechanic came right out to get tire in trunk. Im older! Then when I picked up the tire (son did),without asking or charging me, the mechanic actually put my tire back on, when I didnt pay for re-mounting. This Grismer is getting all my business from now on. Ill tell my family along with anyone wholl listen, that Grismer on Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd, is a fine place to have any mechanical repairs. Patrick and his crew are people you can trust to take care of your car needs. I was in town visiting relatives and wanted to have my car looked over for the second drive of my trip. They are honest! If something needs to be fixed they will let you know. If it is something that can wait, they will let you know.

Great place. I needed a tire fixed. Two Firestone stores said they could not get to it today. Called Grismer Tire and they fixed it right away. Great place to go!!

Came in 1 hour before closing, with 1 tire losing air. They replaced 2 tires, and they were in stock. I made home before they closed. Employee gave my kids freezer pops. The kids watched SpongeBob on the waiting room TV. Quick, friendly, affordable.

We was traveling from KY to Medway for a funeral and had picked up a nail on the road. After stopping at 3 other places and telling us it would be more than an hour wait, I called and they said come on in and will take care of it right away. Great customer service

Don’t take your car here. Had rear brakes done and my slides were seized. They got them out and less than six months later they were seized again. They didn’t lube the slides after getting them unfrozen. Purchased four tires and I was told my car alignment was all over the place and there was nothing they could do about it after it hadn’t been that long ago they did my alignment after putting coilovers on my car. Obviously they didn’t do the alignment either. Don’t pay for work to find out later it wasn’t done right or even at all.

They did exactly what I asked them to do and after things changed in their prices, they gave me the price that was quoted to me anyways. They didnt harass me about extra things like most shops do, which I am grateful for since I help do the work needed on my vehicles myself. They were very kind and happy. Communication and timeliness was great as well.

This is the Grismer I always go to . I started a couple years back when I had a tire that was going flat and they were the closest tire place to get to in an emergency. They took care of me even though it was at closing time and didn’t charge me a dime . Also was very courteous and professional. They got me back on the road in less than 30 minutes .

I have to knock some points off this review. I have used this location a out 5 or 6 times the first few were great experiences (I think.) But the last to time I brought my vehicle in, little to nothing was done or communicated. The most recent trip was for an alignment. My vehicles axle was not aligned and I let the Staff know this. I dont know if they dif an alignment or not, but I do know they did NOT aligned the axle which is what I brought it in for. The fact that my receipt does not mention that the car is still pulling to the right tells me that they also did not do the requested and paid for road test.

They were friendly and had fast and seemingly quality service. Disappointed in the hidden costs of getting 4 tires mounted. I was told they would charge $30 a tire until I got the bill which included fees for service, shop supplies, covid protection, etc. I feel these fees were unnecessary as well as deceiving when they couldve just told me they charge $40 a tire.

It took a while because it was busy that was my only complaint

Needed a set of highway tires. The price was lower than I expected. Plus the 4 oil changes made the cost better yet.They found and pointed out to me a problem with a tie-rod end. I had them repair it. It is fortunate that Grismers can perform this work. A regular tire shop may find problems but are unequipped to make repairs.Ive shopped Grismers before and have always been treated fair and given honest advice. With several stores scattered about the area, service is not far away. Kudos to Grismers for providing competitive pricing and honest business practices.

My experience with grismer tire and Auto service in Fairborn Ohio was top-notch in every way. They were very helpful, communicated every step of the way, and produced a great result. I bought a new set of tires and there were charges that werent visible on the website but they called or texted me every step of the way to make sure I knew what was going to happen.

Awful service. I made a 10am appointment for an oil change and for them to fill up my tire pressure. They never called me and I thought it was weird so 2.5 hours later I went to the shop and asked about my car and they had just started on the oil change. They also did not fill up tires like I asked that were obviously low and still made me pay $60 after all of the inconvenience. Do not go here.

The mechanics always go above and beyond for the money... when I first moved to Fairborn they did major work on my car that had 400k miles on it, a second vehicle at the time, and now that I have a new SUV of course I take it there, because I know all the work they do will be done right.

We love Grismer. They are the best. We have never had a problem - ever. We are a military family - and have been using them for the 6 years we’ve been here. Polite - great customer service - kind - and always willing to check different things out and call me before they do the service . My husband is away a lot of the time and I have never felt taken advantage of or treated horribly when I call to make an appointment or take the cars in. I think in today’s society that speaks volume. Repairs and service always done on time and no problems. Great job!!

I Trust these guys implicitly. They have always done great work for me. I recently purchased an older Jeep and asked them to give it the “Once-Over”. And they did, telling me everything that needed a little work, and what need it now and what could wait. Great prices too. They really helped me out, and gave me a ton of piece of mind. (Also it doesn’t hurt that a couple guys there are “Jeep guys” and know what to look for!)

My husband and I have been going to Grismer for 11 years. They have taken care of four cars over the years. It’s not very often that I can say I get good services from most places. I do not have one complaint. They are accommodating fast and I have never had any problems after a repair. I got my tires there too. I came into the Fairborn store looking for new tires. Im very happy with my service. Brain was a big help with a no pressure sale. He ran a few estimates for me and I decided on new Firestone tires. They were reasonable on price with an instant discount with free oil changes. They were able to get me right in for service. I took my wife’s car in ti Grismer on a Saturday morning without an appointment as her tire was not holding pressure. The Manager at this location is very friendly and courteous as I had my tires replaced on my Silverado earlier this year. I was fully prepared to pay for a new tire but was shown a tiny nail that was in the tire and could be repaired.He also asked for my patience as they were very busy. Within an hour I was worked in, the tire was repaired for a &28 charge. Past the charge I will return here with any tire needs that may arise.

Good service but a tad pricey

Had an issue where my oil plug was replaced by a pan saver. Wasn’t told it was a pan saver. I was told that it was just an over sized plug. Originally this was a negative review but the manager called and asked me to come in to look at it. He fixed the issue and made it right. I’ve had a lot of work done on my cars here and would recommend them to anyone. If you have an issue just let them know and they will do what they can.

The other reviews do not give this place justice! Probably the best tire & auto service center Ive ever been to. Come to this place if you want to fix the problems in your car caused by your OTHER auto service centers. The front desk staff was courteous, polite and let me know what was going on at all times with my car. I was originally scheduled for an oil change appointment at 12 pm, but came early at 10 am. They were able to get me in and out quickly, within 45 minutes! As far as the mechanics, some of the most honest people Ive ever met. The mechanic discovered a loose jam nut on my front left tie rod that was not installed properly when my car got an alignment done at Midas. This was a huge safety issue, and I couldve lost control of my tire if it came undone. The mechanic tightened it down for me and recommended I go back to Midas and get a realignment. Ive read other reviews about the costs being a little pricey. If you come here during a special, the prices seem reasonable. My full synthetic oil change was only $45 with a $10 off special coupon, which is REALLY good for a full synthetic oil change. Average price I usually pay is about $60, and Ive even paid as high as $70 at the dealer. Ill definitely be coming back for my next car service.

It was positive experience today

They were able to diagnose my tire issue quickly and easily. It’s hard to love having to buy all new tires but the Grismer folks made the process smooth. On top of that, all the employees were comical and light-hearted when they called me to talk through the issues and when I went back to pickup my vehicle.

Im only giving one star so I can place the review. I had 3 free oil changes left, so I dropped off my vehicle to get the oil changed. About an hour later they called to tell me to tell me my battery was dead, really?? As I have never had a problem with the battery. They claimed to have had my lights on for 15 seconds and boom battery dead. No let me tell you what they did, they purposely drained the battery in hopes that I was stupid enough to buy another one. Then they proceeded to tell me a reverse light was out, not a problem Ill replace it myself, when that didnt work they tried to tell me my power steering pressure line was leaking. ...no problem I can fix it my self. ...so when I go to pick up my vehicle the battery was dead and vehicle wouldnt start. Luckily I had someone with me and we charged it.....do you think they could have done that since they are the ones that killed it.....nope. anyway when I returned home, we checked all the lights and guess what? All of them were in perfect working order. The total for the repairs they were claiming was over 1000.00. They also said I need pads and rotors as well as tires, and if I bought the tires they wouldnt charge me for this oil change, really idiots? I was there for my free oil change anyway. Needless to say if you take your vehicle there it will come out broken. They got pissed because I wouldnt fall for their antics so they drained my damn battery and left me there in a thunderstorm to jump it. Bad, bad place to go. Buyer beware!!!

This location just lied to a female customer in attempts to make a sale. Unfortunately what the ignorant staff didnt understand is she had a family member who knows about tires. FYI if you have a blow out on a 4x4, you dont have to purchase 4 new tires.

After a flat tire yesterday I was able to get in immediately upon arrival and got a great deal for all four tires, alignment and an oil change! Therese guys are great! Highly recommend!

Great Customer Service..... Had a flat tire and had called two local shops and wasnt able to take care of me.... I called and spoke with Patrick and he said to bring it on in and hed get me fixed up. I was there about an hour for them to fix my tire and check all the others for screws to make i was good. Very friendly people there and will be a Grismer Customer for Life.

Excellent service, very professional staff, and truly conscientious . Warned me of a possible scratching on my new wheels due to the alignment equipment, but the guy who actually did the work took double the usual amount of time so as to make sure my wheels came out totally unharmed. Thats definitely above and beyond the call of duty! I will definitely take my vehicle back here again!

Extremely polite and provided additional info on other things I need done in the future at the cheapest rates for me to include the additional charges that could possibly come up. The service was fast for 4 new tires and alignment of on 1 and half hours to complete. The estimate given over the phone was exactly what I got on the final bill also with taking off a coupon I had for $20 off. Loved this place. Its the first time I had been there and I will be returning for any problems in the future!

Appreciated the prompt and professional manner in which my tire repair was handled. Although I was only able to arrive 30 minutes before closing and other jobs were already in process, my tire was repaired without being turned away. The shop personnel stayed after closing to make sure my tire was repaired. He is a strong communicator...he is honest and while I know he is a loyal company guy, he tells me what he recommends, as well as what needs to get done...he doesn’t jam services down my throat that may not be necessary. I took my vehicle in to Grismer to have my electrical system serviced and the team there was excellent. They were professional, courteous, patient, and understanding every step of the way. They were also very knowledgeable and very generous in sharing said knowledge. They have definitely earned a customer for life, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Replaced my alignment pins and the front brake rotors I needed the same day. Great. I took off one star for trying to push a controversial transmission flush on me. Whats wrong with a drain and fill? Thats what Car Talk recommends and Edmunds too.

Called Saturday at 5:15 PM, dropped my truck off at 6:30, received a call about 12 on Sunday to give me the scoop on my brakes, it needed front brake rotors, new pads, and caliber rebuild kits all the way around. I asked when can I pick, it I was to get it fixed, they told me that they close at 3:30, so it will be done before that, I told them to fix it. I received a call at about 1:45, to pick it up! Awesome job, at a very good price, and they work like new, thank you!

The people were nice and my car was completely in a timely manner. I had an issue with my tire pressure sensor and they assisted me, buy the light for the sensor only went off for the rest of that day, it came back on and stayed on the following day. It went off again, but is now back on again and hasnt gone off. This was not an issue before, however my engine maintenance light did the same thing. Now it is off and the tire pressure sensor light is on.

Staff very friendly, courteous and prompt... have done business with them for years... they always welcome me back each time and I look forward to my next visit with the same great care from their team.... I highly recommend Grismer tire.
