They called me to say my car was ready but it had numerous visible problems that a professional would not have presented to the customer as complete. Among these were paint drips, incorrectly crimped qtr panel, sloppy caulking and they painted over the caulk. pieces of trim not installed laying loose in the trunk describe a few issues. While they did work with me and brought the car back into a state I accepted, this required more than 5 trips to their shop and calling the adjuster to meet me there. I did not feel supported and felt like they expected me to accept the work as done and just drive away. They had my car 6 weeks the first time and two weeks the second time. Im saddened to think of all the customers of theirs that DO just drive away. In my opinion based on my experience, they have a a good enough work ethic not worthy of top dollar unless YOU do the quality inspection AND fight for it. I would not use this place again.

An amazing company. Their customer outreach is superb. To the point of making phone calls every Tuesday and Thursday keeping customers informed on the status of their repairs. Fast, quick and excellent quality care in their services. Both customer service and their auto body repairs. This will be the only company I ever use again, and the only company I will refer to friends and family.

I’m going to be honest…I just dropped my car off today. So idk what and when it’ll be fixed but I don’t care.From the time I came in to get pics done from my little fender bender to the drop off today, they’ve got to be the kindest people I’ve ever met. As a single woman, with no knowledge of cars…they could paint my car fire engine red and I wouldn’t even care lol. It gets intimidating as a person who doesn’t know much about cars. So it’s nice to know I can leave my baby with them and not feel like I’m about to get ripped off.Just goes to show that being kind gets you further in business. I trust them and don’t even have my car back yet.The front receptionist, Teri, is the first face I saw both times and she sets the tone. Kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Even early in the morning, she is the sweetest. You don’t meet very many nice people like that.I live in Springfield, but if I need repair again…I’ll gladly go here.

I have come twice- once to fix another mechanic’s job (parking lot collision to front bumper and door and another for a freak accident (side mirror damage) and both have been great experiences.They are fast, smart and friendly. Nice and professional people. Door was replaced and looks like new. Only issue is the car needed kept at their garage for about 2-3 weeks, which required renting a car for the entire duration. I’d think a more cost efficient way would have been to take my car there to be evaluated and just returned my car to have the door replaced when the door actually arrived. That would have cut a 2-3 week rental bill down to a day or two 🤷🏼‍♂️

C&H CARSTAR in Fairborn has fixed our cars on two different occasions. We will only use C&H CARSTAR even after we moved 3 hours away. They are still the only body shop we will use.

The work they provided was good but they put miles on my car and I can tell that they drove hard as my car records boost pressure from the turbo and it was at a new record high after I picked it up. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I would use this company again if I did not have a performance vehicle.

I had a fender bender with my 2019 Traverse. From my first phone to set up an estimate until I picked my vehicle up, I felt a sense a pride that the employees had who worked at CarStar. Terry is the receptionist and she had to be one of the most friendly people I have ever worked with. She was so cheerful and helpful and really made me feel at ease and reduced my level of stress. Joe completed the initial estimate; and then kept me up to date with the progress of the repairs via text messages and phone calls. When I picked up my car, it looked like it just came off the showroom floor. Having a car accident can be a very stressful situation, but Terry and Joe couldn’t have made the situation any easier for me. I HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle to them if you ever need any body/paint work on your car.

Had some issues with a water leak after having the passenger side rear door replaced. Though this was a very difficult issue, they took it in stride and didnt cut any corners to resolve the problem. I also took the vehicle in after it had been stolen; but later retrieved by law enforcement officers. Even though the van was a terrible mess on the inside when police officers returned it; by the time Car Star was done, it looked and smelled like a new vehicle inside. In both scenarios, issues were addressed professionally. Great customer service, and wonderful attention to details.

Extremely easy to work with. Lots of communication and straight forward process. They do a good job walking you through everything. If you have USAA insurance, they are particularly easy to work with here. My repair was a bit expensive (thankfully I only had to pay my deductible) and took awhile but they got it done early and did a great job.

I hit a deer on July 3rd in Arkansas. I had to leave my car in AR to be repaired. It took over a month to get the car finished.So I fly back down to Arkansas to drive my car back and the first repair shop did a poor job. I saw the paint was messed up and I couldnt afford to leave the car and fly back empty handed.While in Missouri my AC stopped working. I drove a whole day without AC back to Ohio.C & H CARSTAR Auto Body Repair (Fairborn, OH) went in afterward and fixed all the things the first shop messed up or didnt repair properly. C&H were able find the issue and fix it. They kept me posted with status updates through the process. Super nice people and they did an amazing job.

Did a great job on my car repairs!

I have used c and h 2 times. The 1st time was fine so I went back. The problem this time. They reused a damaged lugnuts. They reused the tire which was sliced on the sidewall. They painted the rim grey when the others are silver. There are buff marks on the side of the car that was not there before.

We are new to the area. My husband hit a deer. I used the recommendation from Esurance to get the repairs. I was very pleased with the customer service. They kept me informed and had my car ready early. My car was well taken care of and in the event I need future repairs I will definitely return.So a year later I had a accident with my trailer😡. I turned too sharp and dented the bumper and quarter panel on my new truck. I had to wait 4 weeks to get in for repairs but the work was excellent. The customer service and professionalism was what brought us back and I was not disappointed. Thank you for the work!!

When I went in for an estimate, they were very friendly and professional. They explained every single point of the process for me so I knew what money was going to go where when they repaired my vehicle.My car went in for a minor bumper repair. When I got my car back it looked beautiful. The bumper looked as though it had never been hit and the detailing was perfect. They even cleaned the wheels! My car also felt more aligned and it turned better. The only thing I was billed for was the bumper repair, which was exactly as they explained in the initial estimate. I was astounded. I almost wish somebody would rear end me again just so I can go back.

Loved the text updates and also the fact that I could drop vehicle off without getting a ride from someone. Rental car was there and waiting! Excellent workmanship. Mike kept us thoroughly informed every step of the way. Joan was very helpful in arranging the rental car. The estimate and the final invoice was quite detailed. It was easy to see every action they took. This wasnt Mikes first rodeo. As he explained the initial estimate, he correctly predicted there was hidden damage based on his observation that the trunk lid wasnt fitting right. I highly recommend these folks. They know their business and professionally execute every aspect. OOPS! almost forgot - The car was returned clean as a pin! ;-)

Didnt have insurance, they quoted me a fair price and did excellent work. Mike was easy to work with and explained everything in the quote and the work they would have to do. After they repaired my door, the latch broke and the door couldnt open. Even though it wasnt 100% for sure that they caused the latch to break, the owner stood by his work and replaced my latch. You dont find that kind of work ethic and commitment very often these days. Would definitely use them again in the future.

My Honda Insight was hit from behind and I took it to Carstar for repairs last December. I am pleased with their service. The manager explained the repair process thoroughly and was very responsive and professional. The workmanship was very good too. I cannot tell the car was damaged and so far no leaks in the hatchback or any other problems. I would strongly recommend Carstar to a friend.

Someone backed into my car! Luckily they had insurance. I saw that Car Star had close to five stars so I thought I would give them a try. They got my car on a Thursday, ordered the parts, and had it done on the day they said it would be done! Which was the following Wednesday. I wanted them to use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts and to let me know if they couldn’t. They got the OEM parts needed and let me know that they did. They not only fixed my baby, but they also cleaned her inside and out!! She’s like new again!! And everyone I talked to was extremely friendly! I got my rental from enterprise, they let me park it at their place and they took care of it! Thank you Car Star!! I would definitely recommend you use Car Star!

This was the first time I have used Carstar and it was a great experience. Dropping off the car was quick and easy, and they called regularly with updates on how the work was going. I went to pick up my car and it looked great. They have been around for a long time, and it shows. I wont go anywhere else.

Ive had to take my car(s) several times, unfortunately, and have always received great customer service. Friendly staff that walks me through the entire process. They have a new system (to me) where you can track the progress of the repairs. The last time my car was in there, they even washed the car. Great job!

I had some work done to my truck because someone backed into it. I was referred to this shop by a local tire store I have done business with for quite some time. The work was done well and in the allotted time frame. The staff were more than happy to help. The work is supposed to covered for a five years. Roughly a year later I notice that paint has chipped off on the pinch weld of the door that had been painted. I called and was transferred to an adjuster who informed me that I need to come in so they can look at it. I made an appointment where the adjuster took pictures of the location I’m question. He looked at the location stating that’s an odd place for that to happen. There is no way for me to cause the chip/rusting in that location. I agreed but none the less the issue needs to be addressed. He informed me that they have to consult with the owner on warranty claims. I was told that I would get a call back. I have yet to hear a call back and that was roughly a year ago.

The quality of the workmanship here is above and beyond.

I recently had my car repaired at the Fairborn Carstar location. I made one phone call to set up the appointment, which was scheduled for the next day. I met with Terry, the administrator, for only 5 minutes. She was pleasant to talk with and very professional. I next talked with Sean, a technician, who inspected my car and wrote up the estimate. He explained everything in detail and we set the drop off and anticipated pick-up dates for my car. The entire process with him took about 20 minutes and I was on my way. I dropped the car off and it was completed as promised. Their were no delays and I never once had to communicate with my insurance company. Should I ever need this service again, it will no doubt be with this branch in Fairborn. Customer service is alive and well at this location, for sure, due to Terrys, Seans and the rest of the crews efforts. Regards, Mike

When an accident happens, you suddenly feel powerless. You are at the mercy of a system that does not always work like it should. What I appreciated more than anything, was the ease with which they moved us through the challenges. I actually felt as if I had an advocate on my side. They worked to ensure that we could relax, knowing they have everything under control. The extra touches that I noted were, the email updates and excellant customer service. The feeling that you were not just another paycheck. Ed was willing to take additional time to explain details and answer question that most shops dont have the patience to address. Moreover, the spotless condition that our car was in when we picked it up........ the most expensive and amazing car wash we have EVER had......I am pretty sure they returned our vehicle in like new condition.... inside and out! In summary, I would highly recommend and will use again..... although I hope I dont need to. Koudos!
