Most friendly and helpful service center. Professional and quality workmanship! Would highly recommend for RV Cummins engine repair!
We had traveled 7000 miles in a meandering route from San Antonio, Texas to Fairbanks when I did a very stupid thing. Maybe not in the top 10 of the most stupid things I have done, but in the top 40 for sure. I put gasoline in my diesel motorhome!! It was half full with diesel so the mixture was about 1:1. I didnt realize what I had done until I had driven 200 miles and parked in an RV park in Fairbanks before it wouldnt start. I called them in the afternoon before July 4th and I was hopeful they could get to it on the 5th, but figured it would be the following week. I was shocked that they sent someone out right away. Allen came out and got it running but still a little rough so I made an appointment to have them change the fuel and other filters on the 5th. The lift pump did not have pressure so they ordered a new lift pump which was not to arrive til the next day. We camped out in their parking lot and when I tried to use the generator and it stopped after a short time, I suspected the problem was the fuel itself. Allen confirmed that there was gasoline in the tank so they drained the tank and the lines. There was a problem with the new lift pump so they had to order another one so we ended up staying in the parking lot another night. They let us use their water and a 15 amp electric and even fed us on the 2nd day. After the tanks and lines were drained and new diesel was put in it, both the Cummins diesel and Onan generator started up and ran great. The gasoline could have severely damaged the diesel engine, so to say I was relieved is an understatement. They found a way to give us a great discount and didnt charge us for the hours incurred because of having to install a 2nd lift pump so the price this all costed us was much less than expected. They were very friendly and kept us updated on exactly what was going on the whole time. I highly recommend this shop.
The only place to go when you need OEM parts. Take my advice and stick with OEM and Cummins for your generation needs
