So i bought ram sticks to add to my PC & i tried to put them in myself using a YouTube video tutorial. Long story short, i failed & whatever I did made my pc go through boot loops, so i immediately took it into the only PC shop i could find in town & im absolutely amazing at how fast they were able to help me with my problem. My anxiety was crazy because I’ve never brought my PC anywhere, nor have had problems like this. Was anxious leaving it there because didn’t know what to expect when it comes to how long it takes. I was worried it was gonna take a week + but I explained to them my problem & they helped with everything & even gave me a few update calls to let me know how the process is going. 10/10 service, would highly recommend to anyone looking to get their PCs worked on in Fairbanks.

Looked all over town for a not so common adapter that I needed. All the major stores didnt carry what I was looking for and ordering online would have taken too long for when I needed it by. I walked into ComputerWerks, showed them a picture of what I was looking for and sure enough they had it on the end cap right behind me. I was in and out in just a few minutes. Its nice to know we have a local computer store that we can count on. Will make sure to visit them first next time.

Brought in my laptop because it was running extremely slow after an update and I needed it for one more semester of school. They got it checked out within a week even though it was over the holidays (Christmas and New Years) and got me an estimate and options to speed it up. Tech was very professional and took the time to explain everything to me and all my options and even helped me to choose the cheapest option because I didn’t use much of the memory on my computer. I appreciated that he was honest and didn’t try to over sell me on something I didn’t need. He even doubled checked all my antivirus software to make sure it was running smoothly because it kept giving me errors and now it doesn’t (I didn’t install it right)I picked up my computer the next day and when I got it home I was blown away by how fast it was! It was better than the day I bought it.If you want an honest company who won’t over sell you on things for your computer this is the company you want. Local folks who take care of their community and reasonably priced too.

I was working on my own laptop (Replacing the thermal paste) on my MSI GE75 Raider Laptop, when I accidently stripped an essential heatsink screw. Rather than invest into a screw extraction kit and potentially breaking my own system, I brought my system to them to extract the screw same day. They also sell system components, which is valuable as a computer store as well. Would highly recommend checking them out!

Had my laptop in for repair and they were rather quick to get back to me. No luck on fixing it due to the cost...HP let me down. Service was prompt unlike my willingness to pick up my new paper weight.

While I did not get to visit this establishment I did call to see how long it could take to fix my computer. All that was broken was hinge but I was told it would take 7-10 business days to diagnose and run tests. That wasnt including if any parts needed to be shipped in nor the time it would take to actually fix it. Under normal circumstances I would have still sent my computer in but I had a flight in 2 days.

I received exceptional service from Computer Werks staff when I purchased a Green Star refurbished computer. My data was transferred quickly and without any problems. They are my go to place for computer issues.

I ordered a new laptop online to replace my dead HP. When it arrived I took it to ComputerWerks and had my old hard drive removed and the data transferred to my new laptop.They said it would be done in about five days and cost a couple hundred dollars.It was done the next day and cost less than a hundred.A friendly competent staff that is rare to find in the North.

They were all very kind and helpful. Steven was patient while I explained the issues my computer had and was understanding about how TSA had damaged the machine. He was knowledgeable and prompt on all my questions. He was upfront about pricing, no hidden fees. Upon pickup 2 lovely ladies answered my questions about buying a new power supply and even offered to help carry my computer to the truck. I brought in a damaged battery compartment (and the correct replacement part) for my night vision where the metal connector had snapped off, and I showed Stephen what the problem was. Went here looking for a replacement part. They didn’t have the part. But they actually took my broken part and repaired it. I was up and running in the same day. I was very impressed. Good technicians.

Brought a PC in for a diagnosis and was told it was unable to be diagnosed due to high end components but was STILL CHARGED $80 for what they think might possibly be wrong with it. I was also told when dropping the PC off that if there was something I needed to return they offer support with warranties. And then when I asked for the assistance was told “we don’t actually do that.” A complete waste of almost $100.10/10 would not recommend.

Went to ComputerWerks to get a recently purchased, refurbished laptop repasted with new thermal compound for the GPU and CPU. Staff was very friendly, and the technician did a great job and got the work done more quickly than they had quoted, and it ended up costing less. Will be back for computer maintenance Id rather not do myself.

Pretty pricey. Paid $20 for $3 worth of thermal paste. They can get away with it because theyre the only local option for some of the things they carry. However, they are very knowledgeable about what theyre doing; but I didnt use their repair services. So if youre not sure; probably good on IT support.
