When this place opened they did an awesome job on your vehicle. I mean really did an awesome job. In the years since service has continued to decline rapidly. Inside of the vehicle is barely vacuumed, inside cup holders not cleaned, seats not vacuumed, windows left with streaks from dirty rags. And don’t waste your money on the higher tiers, the guys washing don’t check the ticket, the inside is always left piss poor.

Big Ed’s car wash is all around amazing ! From the service to the employees 10/10! You get your money’s worth when buying a membership here. I always have a great experience when coming to get my car washed. The staff is very friendly and always have smiles on their faces which makes my experience even better so not only do I leave with a squeaky clean car but I also leave with a smile as well.

Love this car wash. The inside alone is a total vibe! and really they do a great job. I have the monthly membership which honestly saves me so much money since I like to keep my car clean and I can literally come any time I want, my car is flawless thanks to this place!!

Went on Saturday, May 1, 2021 and I was extremely disappointed about my car wash. It was inconsistent with other vehicles and when I approached one of the works, he said it was already done. I’m not going back and I wouldn’t recommend someone to go there. I’ve been going since they opened up but this was unacceptable to me. I would post photos, but it’s not letting. If I get a chance to do it, I’ll update it with photos.

I just went to Big Eds and got all the scratches on my car removed and got a great car wash as well! My car is spotless inside and out and such great customer service too, everyone I talked to was so so helpful and kind, I will definitely be back and would recommend anyone to go!

Went to Eds car wash at the recommendation of a friend. I got a full service car wash and detailing, for $54 plus tax. They vacuumed inside the car, shampooed the mats, cleaned the doors and dashboard. All things I wouldnt do on my own. The car wash is fun to watch as you wait inside. It includes foam, wax, and a shine sealant. Anyway, I probably wont go often but for once in awhile its a good deal and nice service. They are helpful and make you feel confident that you are in good hands. Also they seem to have pretty good monthly wash packages, which I didnt use. Check them out!

Slightly pricier than other car washes nearby but worth it. Most packages available include interior vacuum and wipe down which is nice. While your car is being washed there is a nice lobby with a seating area with items for sale like air fresheners, fluids and car mats. The overall quality of the wash is great!

Went to Big Ed’s today and have never had a better car washing experience. The wash came out great, the staff is friendly, the facility is very clean, and overall offers a very accommodating experience. Look forward to doing business again.

This is twice that I pay for for gold services and this time they left a towel in the car because of rushing.Car was not cleaned probably, for 26,95 you think they do better than spraying the car with water.

Paid nearly $70 to get the diamond package to really clean up the food stains my children left in the car. They told me it would only take 30 minutes - but I guess they took in more cars and stretched their staff.One guy working on it very slowly. Did a good job, but left the car on and then the battery died. Had to wait as they jump start my car. Coordinated child care so I can do this and now spent more than I would have liked of my “free time.” I could have done this myself but thought it would have been faster having them do it.

After hurricane Ida I went to a detailer in Bergenfield (Mr.Bees)and he quoted me at least $700 and I would need to leave my car for 3 days. Luckily the guy gave me a bad feeling and I told him thats more than I want to spend. A friend told me about Big Eds and I dropped my car off and paid $150 for the interior detail package. Came back 3 hours later and got in my car, OMG what an amazing job!!.From the girl who answered the phone to the employees who did the detailing, thank you for being so professional. I had a great experience at Big Ed’s recently. Everyone was extremely friendly and I truly felt that my car was in great hands. The attention to detail went above and beyond, they even managed to get food out of all the nooks filled with Cheerios from my children. I am thrilled. Highly recommend!

Ive been a customer at Big Eds for the past couple of years. I got almost once a week to have my car cleaned and waxed. They always go above and beyond to take are of me. Im extremely picky about my car and anytime i need/want something extra done or fixed hes always happy to help with a smile on his face. The team is super professional and takes care of even when Ed is not present. Big Eds car wash is the stuff dreams are made of for a true car guy. Probably the best place in NJ ( including south Jersey as well )Friendly staff, I always have a pleasant experience here. The workers are committed to great service. The atmosphere was awesome and the grounds are immaculate. I usually get the diamond wash and every season I get a outside detail so it gets hand waxed.

I get the quick wash for I think it was 8 bucks. it does a great job on all my vehicle big and small..One complaint, I was charged an over size fee for my chevrolet van, not sure what that is, there are no changes in how the car wash operates

Paid xtra to get wheels cleaned. I even asked is the wheel cleaned to the guy who does hand drying. It’s my 2nd time there both time disappointing. I would go today unless I had to. Took the gold package; I had to clean the inside after I cleaned it there! Although I stressed that I needed good vacuuming on the sides of the seats. The car was bot really bad dirty, just a simple vacuum!

I have been coming here for a few years now and I’m glad I’ve been, not only they do an amazing job on my car every time I bring it over but they keep this place so clean and sanitized and making sure everyone is wearing a mask and being protected! Also adding that even on their busy days my car still comes out looking great like always! I hate streaky windows but because they use microfiber towels I knew it would never be a problem for me. I even bought a few of those towels to keep them looking sharp after a rainy day. Love it and will continue to come here for a very long time!

I am member of a highend car club, every Sunday we get together and I always go to big eds right before on Saturday. I am confident that my car is well taken care of. I recommend the diamond but you should know it does take a little time, but I guess that is what you pay for.

I have been here 4 times and each time the service gets worse. First the prices are ridiculously expensive and choosing a higher package does not they will clean your car any better than the base package. They dont clean the insides well at all nor dry the outsides properly. My last time there was Saturday March 20th they cleaned my car with dirty wet rags they used to clean the two previous cars before me. I had to call them back because they failed to dry off the car properly. I had water marks all over my car along with the fibers from the old worn out rags they were using. Im happy the warm weather is here so I can do it myself. Will not be going back.

This is not just a regular car wash at all.what a wonderful facility. The equipment really makes my car shine.Im also an unlimited wash club member. Im addictive its so easy clean and convenient I wouldnt go anywhere else.

This car was is getting from bad to worst. Every time I come there the guy in the back try to charge me different prices for hand wash or he tells me to come back because he doesn’t have time to do a hand car wash. The quality of the work is terrible. I have to argue for them to dry my windshield, windows, and mirrors.

The quality of the washes are amazing. The products and the equipment used are not harmful to the car like some other car washes.

I was shopping around for my go to car wash. So for test runs, I just get the interior and exterior done as a test for my future car detailing place. I have been to this car wash 3 times and all 3 times I had to pull into the Shop Rite parking lot and finish drying my car properly. My last visit on Dec. 26th, it was worse...my windows werent even dried well. Its a shame because the atmosphere and the staff was good.

I have been living in Fair Lawn my entire life and I am so happy we finally have a decent carwash. I come ~twice a week and get the full service. Always a good job, and I enjoy the lobby, it is clean, almost like you are not in a carwash lobby. Totally recommend. Best place in the county

Mike car came out dirtier than when I went in although they tried to clean it to pacify me it didnt help and there were talking about me in Spanish which my wife understood

I saw large signs saying express wash $7.00 so I pulled in and asking if I could pay with visa and he said yes. The he came back and said I had to pay $10 if I paid with Visa. Sign did not say CASH ONLY. He said go somewhere else if I dont want to pay $10.00 so I had to back out of the line and leave. This place sucks. They would rather loose a customer forever than absorb 20 cent visa fee. Bad business run by nasty people.

I got the gold package today and I feel like if I got the lowest package I would of got the same thing. The inside WAS NOT TOUCHED, they did not clean the console, dash, or inside windows. They just did a sloppy vacum job inside, the outside of the car was alright. The bottom of the trim all around the car was still dirty. Ive gotten a lot more for a lot less at other places. Only reason I gave them 2 star is because their car items inside are fairly priced.

For a platinum wash not worth $35.95.Speak to the guy about my windows.Rims wasnt clean right. When I get home I still had to wipe down the car again. Wasnt busy only 10:00 am. They should have charged me $10.00 for a wash like that. Would not recommend.

Wasnt expecting a 5 star job from an automatic car was but, good Lord! The car came out still covered in soap. The guys that dry it off at the end use the same exterior towels on the interior. I paid 26 dollars for someone to rearrange the existing dirt on the car. Horrible!

Im 9 months pregnant and my husband is an essential worker in Manhattan who doesnt have time to clean out my car right now... he gets a pass :) I want my car extremely clean & sanitized before the baby arrives- can’t be too careful with a newborn during a pandemic!This was my first time at Big Ed’s, recommended by a family member and they surpassed my expectations. Along with the following CDC guidelines, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel safe. When your car is in need of a deep clean and some TLC, make sure to bring it to Big Eds Car Wash. My window was accidentally left open during a rainstorm and of course the rugs and seats were very damp and wet. Simon and his team did an entire deep clean and detail on my whole car from shampoo to steam clean/vacuum and even cleaning out my consoles. I got in my car and it was spotless. They did an even more incredible job than I could have imagined. Thank you to Ed and his team for taking care of my car and getting it looking brand new again - inside and out! They don’t clean interior of cars well at all. i could’ve done a better job if i did it myself. everythings rushed and not properly cleaned. i get so disappointed everytime i come here. Id rather take the drive to paterson and get a better car wash .

I came to get a car wash just this morning and I was greeted by the nicest staff. I hate going to new places since you never know what you are going to get but I was extremely satisfied. I always eat in my car during work breaks so sauces were spilled all over my seats. Not only they removed every single stain, they made the car look brand new and for a cheap and reasonable price. Please get your car washed here they have the best services.

Joe and Dan took care of my car, i got a high mileage oil change, they took care of my tire pressure, wiper fluid. The were very professional. I was given a carwash with my oil change, but didnt have the time for one, but was offered a rain check, i went in to pay, and dima helped me with accessories. I even ended up leaving with a cool hat, great experience overall.

This place is HORRIBLE! went to get a car wash and the guys were really unprofessional, they were laughing in my face and speaking Spanish which made me feel like they were talking about me . felt really uncomfortable there. DO NOT recommend this place at all. And my car was not vacuumed well even after I payed 35$! They kept pushing their membership on me and when I was there all I wanted to do is leave.

Pretty impressed. A nice facility, great staff, and fair prices. I even had the pleasure of meeting Ed, the owner, who seems like a great guy who takes great pride in his business. I havent used their detailing services yet, but this is now my favorite car wash in the area.

I paid $38 for the platinum package which includes a basic interior detail.The attention to detail was okay, there were some smudges on the window which were left behind, along with a few patches of dust on the dash. My biggest gripe is with the wash itself. Inside they advertise the fact that they use foam machinery instead of cloth, which is supposed to be better for the paint because it doesn’t collect rocks and dirt from other vehicles. The wash left a gash on the drivers door that is 3 1/2 inches long, and half an inch tall. It completely removed the paint and brought it down to bare metal. I will admit that there were rock chips in the door originally, but the location of the gash was previously completely in tact, and un damaged. When drying the car, i could see that the towels they were using were chipping the paint even further because they weren’t being careful ti avoid the damaged area. I myself work at a carwash, and this has NEVER happened where I work. I understand that they can’t do anything about the damage, but when confronted about it, all they could muster up was a measly shrug.

I have been coming to Big Ed’s for a few years now for regular washes. We left milk in our car last week overnight and needed our trunk to be shampooed. I called to make sure they are providing this service now and spoke directly with Ed. Couldn’t be nicer and told me about all the other worse cleanup jobs they have done (made me feel not so bad about my spoiled milk!) the inside waiting area is closed currently but there are benches in front for you to wait. Everyone is masked and providing service safely.

Got a full service and they didn’t even vaccum or even take out the mats in the back seat to dust off them. No vaccum in the back at all. Didn’t even touch the trunk either. And spot marks over windows too. Trunk door looks dirty too. Wish I checked before I left.

Great carwash! The carwash is inviting and welcoming. I feel very safe here even during this pandemic. The lobby is clean, the staff always have masks on and there is hand sanitizer everywhere.I have been a member for about 2 years.

I was forced to get my car cleaned inside and outside while I only wanted the outside washed, because they started vacuuming the car without asking me what service do I want and then when I choose outside only they said we all ready vacuumed the car . And they didn’t dry my car for nothing, once I got home my car was filled with white streaks of dry soap and it looked like it wasn’t washed and the inside was dirtier then it was before, I bet they used the same towels throughout the whole job....WONT BE COMING BACK MY 27$ will go to someone else .

Won’t do an oil change if your car has more than 125k miles, nice way of losing a good costumer

This was a 1st time horrible experience went there this afternoon May 19, 21 told the gentleman I’d like full service in and out and that’s not what was given at all they did not wipe inside at all nor vacuum correctly I understand the busyness but try to do better, plus I paid for full service it was highly upsetting but instead of me being rude to the workers on saying anything I chose to write the review.

Quick. Good, enthusiastic workers, but they miss some things in their haste. Price was OK but kinda high. At $45 bucks for a Platinum Service (top level car wash) I expected a little better job.

Interior of the car is barely even touched. Car is not properly dried. Soap streaks all over the car due to the dirty towels they used. It does not matter which tier of wash you used, there was no difference in quality. I have used this place for about 2 years and will take my business elsewhere now.

This place is top of the line! Even with everything going on with the virus they are still up and running doing what ever they can to make you happy! I’m extremely happy with the service! I will always go to Big Ed’s Car Wash! Next time I go I’m going to sign up with the monthly plan so I can come unlimited amount of times in one month! I can’t wait!! This car wash has the cheapest exterior wash I’ve ever seen. It was exactly $7!! One of the workers asked if I wanted tire shine to make it a total of $11 and i said why not. My wheels came out looking brand new. All of my friends asked if i got new tires. This is definitely going to be my regular car wash.

This is a great car wash. I joined the membership cause it seems like a really good deal. They not only disinfected my car but I was able to stock up on sanitizer supplies. The staff were very friendly and can’t wait to go back.

Great car wash! my car was very dirty I went to big ed’s to get a detail for 224$ of my whole car! car was looking brand new just like the day i bought it!! definitely worth the price!

So this was only the second time I’ve been here and it’s because the place where I serviced my car left it a complete disaster. My car previously didn’t have any stains on the carpets and the interior was like new even though it’s an old car. But the auto service place left it with grease stains on the interior of the car doors, the carpets and the dash. It’s easily noticeable because the interior is mostly beige. Therefore my husband insisted I get my car detailed and I came here and paid almost $60 because that’s what one of the guys who works there said it would be. Everyone was nice especially the girl at the front desk but in the hour I waited for my car, it got dark outside. So when my car was done, I couldn’t really tell if everything was clean inside. It just all looked shiny. I could tell that my windshield hadn’t been cleaned so I nicely asked one of the men working there to clean it and he kindly offered to clean the rest but I asked him if they had already been cleaned (assuming they were since that was part of the package I paid for) and he said it was hard to tell at night. I glanced around quickly and they seemed cleaned so I left. Next morning and when I looked more closely the next night, I noticed everything. There were water spots on all the windows, my dash hadn’t been wiped clean first but instead looked like armor all had been sprayed on top of the all the dust and grime and wiped really quickly. The black grease stains on my carpet were still there and all the interior feels sticky and grimy because of the armor all. I get if the carpet stains were hard to remove but it would’ve been nice if they could’ve told me that they tried at least but the rest doesn’t seem right. I’m disappointed especially because this wasn’t cheap and i wouldn’t have had to do it if my car hadn’t been dirtied in the first place.

Ok, so I came in after work a little before 4pm today 5/2/19. A guy came over and asked what I wanted(I guess which level)🤷🏻‍♂️, so I said I need a basic with the undercarriage as well. So he went into the little shack/building and printed a ticket which he handed to me and said: ok Gold, you want Gold then. So I walked inside and was texting with my wife, who was perplexed by the fact that I was going to the car wash as it was raining by our house. I told her I was thinking about joining the club because there was not much of a difference in the price for Gold that the guy had sold me $23.95 and the unlimited club of $37.95 so with that being said I approached the register. I told the lady/girl that it was only my 2nd time there and she asked if I knew my old plate number from the last time. I tried to recall it but she said it didn’t come up(I now believe she simply didn’t pay attention as I see from my receipt that she entered my current plate incorrectly as well). Nevertheless she said she could adjust it if I remembered it the next time so I can get credit for my washes. I explained that the plate number was in the car but I guess she needed it to go through then? So I told her my current plate and spelled it out for her(which was entered wrong) and she rang me up. I then walked out front and put $2 in the tip box as the car was about to come out of the tunnel. It was here that I noticed the sky had darkened so I texted my wife that I wonder if that’s why the guy printed out a Gold ticket for me?? She said yeah probably, but regardless I was still thinking of joining the club being that there was not a big difference in price between the 2 amounts in my opinion.So I watched as the guys finished with the car and believe me it was awesome!!! I mean they not only dried it once but went over it and second time with a towel/microfiber cloth and the air hose blowing out the water that is often left in the crevices. So I thought ok that must be part of the Gold package and it was nice. I have a constant nuisance deposit that will always be there for the foreseeable future and it was gone!! So I absolutely have to admit that they did a great job, because I have tried to get it off before!!The reason for the 1 star review is the selling me a gold wash when clearly I described a bronze wash(as I have seen in a previous review response from the owner) when it was moments away from raining(which explains why there was only 1 car ahead of me)!!! I personally feel it was a deceptive practice so I think I am not going to join the club and furthermore I think I am going to give someone else a crack at my money(there is a fairly new place on Maple Ave between River & 208). The first thing I can compare is if they get that said nuisance deposit off like Ed’s did today. I had not seen anything similar to this occurrence in the other reviews but nevertheless it happened to me today, and facts don’t care about feelings.🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I have been a unlimited wash club member since Big Eds has opened. I love every aspect of it. I bring my car, my wives car and you know what.Nice, clean and I got what I wanted for the price I was told. The express is very convenient for an exterior wash only. My buddy told me the diamond was worth it and I do that once every few months.I like to bring in the kiddies because they have fun shooting the water gun at the car.No complaints from me!

Don’t knw about other packages but I’m not recommending express wash what they advertise longest trail but couldn’t even wash off salts spot . Very disappointed. I went there to wash around 5:40pmThe time I got out from my car noticed it n I went back there but they already closed .

Your front license plate will get ruined because the blow dryer at end of wash is too strong on the bottom and will bend it inwards on both sides. This has happened with 3 of my cars and you can’t get the plate back to new because a crease is created. They’ve been told about this issue but refuse to fix it.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and I’m in the automotive business... I really feel bad for the owner because he is a nice guy but every single one of his employees including the manager of the car wash and the oil change does not care about the customer in any shape or form please do yourself a favor and find a different car wash this place is horrible

I am a newer member and never have had a problem. If anything they are extremely caring. I dont understand anyone just leaving not going to management but yet go on line to complain? I just left one of their competitors along with a few others. I personally think the competitor is making these complaints because I know for fact they are losing business to Big Eds. Big eds car wash is amazing i came here today with my car and i got the diamond package. They left my car looking brand new. It was so good that i had to get a membership. If you need a amazing car wash i recommend big eds car wash.

Don’t usually leave bad reviews but went to wash my car today .......but they didn’t really Vacuum the entire car as there was wrappers all under the seats and a little more garbage
