This shop is first class. I just received my second haircut from Linda, and man, I could not be more satisfied! This gal has some skill!After being disappointed by multiple local shops, I am thrilled to have found this shop where I can rest assured that my haircut will turnout exactly how I expect it, if not better! No more need to ask if I can see a mirror half way through my cut, dreading that they chopped to much off in the wrong spots.These folks have some serious talent and I will be coming back to Linda until I move out of town or she quits cutting hair!I cannot recommend this shop enough!... at least if you’re getting trimmed up by Linda. Ive been twice now and I wont go anywhere else. They listen, give you what you ask for and are skilled at their craft. I have them cut my hair and beard and Im pleased with both. All that and their prices are competitive.

Tino is the BEST! Did my 10yr old right and tight for school! Faded the sides, lined up his hairline and evened up his mohawk. Took his time with my son, didnt rush at all. Extreme attention to detail. Also, the shop is very clean and family friendly. Lastly, Tino was very respectful and courteous, very kind and polite. Highly recommend him and his shop. Truly one of kind. Talent and class. Cant beat that combo.

I take my son in to see Steven like clock work and he’s awesome! (Everyone else is nice too) previously been to other barbershops in the area and had to endure listening to “locker room” type conversations between the barbers and clients.. and lopsided haircuts..so when I came here I was so relieved everyone is professional and my sons hair has never been off with any of the barbers there! This place is no joke! Highly recommended! Tino hooked me up with one of the best fades Ive yet to have and super chill and easy to talk to. Place was dripd out man cave style ... multiple TVs, decent sound system, pool table, 3-4 gaming systems on a dedicated TV / gaming area. I appreciated how theyve continued to keep up with tech and provided confirmation and reminder text for appointments made too. I think Ive found my new barber... thanks Tino!

Whether renovating, or even recently booking online with the pandemic, has actually been a huge plus! I definitely prefer a scheduled appointment over waiting for 30 minutes (the line used to get long before the virus, theyre very popular!).Cell coverage is terrible in there for me, so you might want to use their free WiFi!

My boys have loved coming here for sometime now. From video games, basketball hoop, kids mags and pool table...they are truly entertained. Couldnt ask for a better barber in Tino. Deon did my youngest sons hair for the 1st time and he did an stellar job. Clean, friendly, and fun atmosphere!

This place is amazing. They are quick & good. My son has Cerebral Palsy, Autism & Epilepsy.he is 4. He is non verbal & cannot walk, he can sit up but he does not understand danger or falling. He can get overstimulated easily. But every single time he is happy & calm because Deon is so great with him. Not only that my son pulls his hair out ALOT! but Deon makes it look like my son never touched his hair & still has it! He made sure picture day for my son was a great day! The best part is Deon has never acted weird or scared to cut his hair. He treats him just like any other child & you may not think that means alot but it does! Plus my son looks amazing! Thank you Deon! Also I forgot to say all the barbers are nice & kind, david cut my sons hair before & did great too but I heard he moved. You wont go wrong getting a hair cut here

I have been coming here to get haircuts for a long time. Tino and the other barbers do a great job for me and my 3 young boys. Multiple TVs, a billiard table and video games make for a good time if you have to wait which is never too long. Price is right too.

By far the highest quality barbershop in the South Everett neighborhood. Tinos shop covers all dynamic of customers that walk in from various age groups. His ability to staff accordingly according to his customer needs serves the business and the community of South Everett well. He also now offers off hour appointments which is nice during desperate times in case of attending social events. Dont be alarmed with the occasional extended wait time(totally worth it) not because it isnt efficiently staffed but because the customers here are loyal and would rather wait for their personal barber. Tino also offers current gaming systems, recreational systems and non-alcoholic beverages for kids/teens/adults to keep them entertained to tactfully deal with wait times. Must try and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Boyfriend and i came in 30 minutes before closing with 6 people ahead of us. We thought we wouldnt make it, but they were very nice to stay until 6:30 to finish the customers.Very friendly staff, very good fade for my bfs hair. **Kid Friendly**This place is rad for kids, they have an Xbox1/Nintendo Switch hooked up and ready to play! Along with tablets, a pool table, and small toys for young children. My 3 boys age 4-8 love it and ask to go get a hair cut there all the time.Tino and crew (Deon, David, Kolby, and Steven) are easygoing and the atmosphere is great: doesnt feel stuffy. Youll run into an old friend guaranteed.

Great for kids! We love this place because our kids can play while theyre waiting for their turn. There are TVs to keep their attention during the cut, and they can play with toys or video games while they are waiting. The barbers are really friendly and do a great job. Its a great price, and even cheaper during the week. Its a keeper!

This barber shop is the best around! I am very particular about how I like my hair and who Ill let give me a haircut. Tino does a great job on my fade every time and even offers to line me up with a straight razor trim around my beard and hair line. All for a great price and I can watch sports center while Im getting lined up.

As a mom you just want to be in and out. This is not that kind of place. However the cuts are on point. It is family friendly with toys for 5 and under and a gaming system for pre-teens. It is clean and the prices are fairly inexpensive.

I’m a mother of a 5 and 10 yr olds I took my boys to this barber shop and I really love the family atmosphere and the friendly staff they have games to keep everyone entertain while waiting. Yes there is a wait but what can you expect from a popular place of business . Im originally from hawaii. I was referred to see tino the owner of silverlake barber from another barbershop owner that retired . My first impression was a welcoming atmosphere ..the 5 chair barber shop has a great stream of customers. Tino who cuts my hair is very consistent with detail on how I like my hair cut. He has a great personality .. very humble and genuinely cares for his clients . I can see why he has such a loyal clientele.

I asked for a fade she just cut the side of my hair ot did not look like a fade and when she asked how much to cut on top I said a little bit not to much a tiny bit I said that 3 times she cut half of it. I asked for a fade it does not look like a fade. The prices are good you dont have to wait to long right when I got in I got a hair cut but the haircut was bad

Took my 6 yr. old there for a haircut and the first one was bad. I had to go back and have them fix it. Tino did a great job of making the cute even as well as fixing the fade on the back and the sideburns. Giving it 4 stars for Tino accommodating us and fixing the initial haircut my son got there.

Hardly any waiting with 4 barbers. Fair prices and they actually listen to what or how I want the results to look like.

I have finally been able to get a place from where i cane be accommodated and also get good haircuts.

With no less than 4 barbers standing by the wait was negligible. When theyre done they put a shop vac on your head to get all the little hairs left.

Im 72 yrs old, and Hyun is the best barber Ive ever had; my wife thinks so too. Im grateful to my now-deceased friend, Herb, for recommending SLBS/Hyun to me just after we moved to the area 5 yrs ago. I just hope she doesnt retire before I go to heaven. (I hope I spelled her name correctly, but even if I didnt, that doesnt change my vote for the shop, and the skilled, friendly Korean lady in the first chair!)

Didnt get what i wanted(not even close), explained what i want, even showed a picture and still didnt get the result i was looking for. Asked him to shave my beard and he couldnt even do that. I paid and i left really disappointed, i dont know why you are cutting hair if you dont have the knowledge on cutting hair.

After several jacked bald fades at shops close to my home in the Everett downtown / waterfront area, I finally found this spot thats turned out well worth the drive. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and incredibly punctual - I didnt have to wait at all. Tino is knowledgable, communicative, and meticulous. I will definitely be back.

Ive been getting my hair cut at Silver Lake Barber Shop for 30+ years. Over 20 of those were just Hyun. Even when I lived in Kirkland I drove up here to have Hyun or Kyle (the owner) cut my hair. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. Kyles always telling an interesting or funny story. Kids can play on video game consoles or watch cartoons on one of the TVs. I highly recommend this barber shop, they do a fantastic job. Tip them well, they deserve it!
