Does a great job with most cuts, the barber is fast and experienced. Theres only one barber chair and he only takes cash or check. Hes fine with a conversation but will also let you sit there in silence if thats what you prefer. Quickly became my favorite barber shop in town.

I have known Neil for close to 20 years and he is the best barber and has always been consistent and an all around good guy i will always be a steady customer.

Neal runs a small little shop in downtown Everett, tucked into a bunch of other businesses that might make his place seem almost overlooked. While his shop is clean and simple, his service is not hampered in any way. A kind man, skilled at his work, and amazingly quick! Hell make any barber shop run for their money with his speed alone. Ive been there three times and am in and out in 20 minutes or less. Always with a haircut that looks good. Ive forgotten exactly how much he charges (partly because Im so happy with his work that I tip him well above his fee), but I know its far less than what most shops or salons will charge you. Keep in mind that Neal isnt a stylist, but this is no knock against him. The quality is still bar-none.

No frills barbershop. No TVs, music, or much decor. Neal is short in his speech, but nice to talk to. There is a single barber chair that faces Colby Ave. The haircuts are ridiculously fast, but Neal is an old school barber, so he wasnt able/willing to do a bald fade (only went down to like a .5 guard or whatever he had), hard part, or temple lineup when I requested it. Otherwise, it was a nice haircut. For $10, I cant complain, but, ultimately, my hair wasnt fully done how I like it.If you dont mind a simple environment for your barbershop, want to only spend $10, get a fast haircut, and dont need detailed work like bald fades, hard parts, or lineups, then Neal is you guy. If you like a more lively atmosphere and like more detail in your hair like I described, then Id look elsewhere.

Ive been getting my haircut here for 12 years. Never gone to a different Barber. Not because he cuts a good head of hair because his haircuts all look identicle you matter what you ask for. But he does do a good job and he does it very very fast. And for only $11.. I always give him a $5 tip and you should also too.

Ive been going to Neals since 2007. I dont know why anyone would post a bad review for this guy... but thats just what you get on the internet. Theres always a malcontent or a-hole out there who revels in having an online voice, even when he or she shouldnt be heard! Theres nothing dark or dirty about Neals shop. And he does a a good job for a fair price. If you want to be pampered or coddled, or you expect someone to grovel at your feet for your $10, then go somewhere else. If you want a haircut from a good guy... I recommend Neals.
