So I was looking around for a hair cut for my 2 kids I as seen this shop before but after 2 years I decide to take my kids overI was really surprised the person that cut my kids hair he did an amazing job

I always get the same barber, Sean Jr. He always remembers my cut and this is the place I always go to cause they know what they doing. Great place to get your cuts. Try it out. Been going here for like 3 years

My barber was intoxicated. Left bare hair patches on neck and ear. Agreed to shadow fade but ended up with a flat top. Not a happy customer. Truth be told. Dont waste your penny here

The owner cut it, asked for a line up and he cut my forehead up lol.

Hands down, absolutely, not only the worst BARBER SHOP Ive ever visited, but also the worst business overall which is not surprising once you meet the owner of this place. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism as I was with the owner of this establishment. To be refused service because of my skin color (Im white), was/is downright DISGUSTING and embarrassing to say the least.If youre looking for a barber shop that does things at THEIR convenience and that youll be left waiting multiple times throughout your haircut waiting on the owner to conduct transactions out the back door if you know what I mean, this is your place. If youre looking for a professional, classy, non-ghetto-as-f&%% shop, avoid this one at l costs.

They ask if you want them to do something before they do it, they clean they clippers and they don’t push ya hairline back!What more can you want? I’d give them 10 stars if I could 🔥

Had a couple great fades here from Sean Gandy Jr, unfortuantely SR has the worst customer service and decides to go off on all his paying regulars. I scheduled an appointment a day in advance online, received a confirmation only to drive 40 minutes to the shop and have no one be there. No call or email telling me my appointment was canceled. When I called the shops numbers, SR answered and decided to go off on a rampage as though a customer showing up for a scheduled (and confirmed) appointment was a problem. He told me they were closed, despite having my appointment confirmed in an email. The shop had multiple ways to contact me should some sort of emergency have come up that required rescheduling but didnt even bother. He even gave me a fake number to JR to call because it wasnt his problem. How are you going to run a business and then just no show on your customers and blow up on them?Not the best way to treat you paying regulars. Ill be finding a new shop. Clearly this business or its owners cant be bothered to even show up to do their jobs or be respectful to their clientele. This establishment ownership and business practices is a joke.It also looks like they have self reviewed themselves many times below. Be skeptical of the 5 star reviews.

Had my first red-carpet premier last weekend and Sean Sr. MADE SURE I was fresh n faded as could be!!! Much appreciated! Highly recommend this place! All the barbers are great!

Instead of being greeted in a nice manner, once you step in the shop your scrutinized. “Did you make an appointment”? In a angry manner... if customers walk into a business they should be welcomed and the employees should do everything to retain them and earn their business instead of dismissing them if they do not have an appointment. Another thing is, the price is way to high for the quality of the haircuts; I have had flawless fades done for $15, these guys act like if they are they got best skills in Washington State.

Not the most welcoming experience. Made an appointment online and when I showed up they acted like I was trespassing. Did not have it posted anywhere that they are cash only. Even window has credit card signs on it. Good thing 7 eleven is right there.

I’ve given this place multiple chances and I want to like them, they do good cuts from what I see but I wasn’t satisfied last time I was here. Unfortunately, not once but twice in the last month two different barbers Robert and Jesse, cancelled my appointment due to leaving early for an emergency. The first time it happened, okay that’s fine. But then it happened again 3 weeks later with a different barber, Jesse. She texted me saying she’d get me in with Jack. I drive all the way to the shop and talk to Jack and he said he’s busy all day with his regulars and then proceeds to tell me to wait for their new walk-in barber. I walked out of the shop irritated that I wasted my time driving over. I let Jesse know what happened and at least get a sorry text. I have an event tonight which is why I made an appointment on a busy Saturday. Extremely disappointed in how the customer service is here they don’t say hi when you walk in and they don’t make up for cancelling your appointments on a 45 minute notice, yet they have a 2-hour cancellation policy online. Never going come back here again.

Kid they had cutting hair didnt know how to use scissors or know what finger length meant. Good for the brothers but maybe not so much the white folks. To be honest the poor guy did his best and still got a decent tip...

So Rude! I walked in at 5:47pm the both start with OH No we are done for the night even tho the closure time is 6:30pm and no walk in after 6pm. Then he was like if you want to pay more we can take care of you... It was my first and last time going there.

If you dont want to get your hair cut every week, dont go here. Ive had my hair cut 3 times here, twice in Lynnwood, once in Everett. I tried giving them the benefit of doubt, so I gave it another go. Even when you tell them, 2 different barbers, you like it short, they barely trim the the top so youre going to need another cut sooner. Im not about to drop $30 a week on hair cuts. I wont be back.

THEY USE to be good and reliable. Gandy Sr. just wants to fight with paying customers. Made my ethnic step son wait 30 minutes because he refused to honor HIS own appointment list until Gandy Jr. had to step up and make up for his poor excuse of a business owner dad.

Loved this place. A lot of reviews say they are rude or what not, and yes they can be a little rough around the edges, but its a barber shop. Go to super cuts if you want your hair jacked up with a smile on the side. They are down to earth guys who have been cutting what I learned to be called tight cuts for a very very long time. Their back story is great. I went in looking for a new style, told him roughly what Id like and he was like, I know what you need. Next thing you know I had a great cut that. Definitely takes longer than the average great clips or super clips, but thats because your getting a much tighter cut. Fair price, Ill definitely be back.

I’m giving 4 stars because I got a good haircut but it wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. Chad did a good job though and he took his time perfecting the cut. Friendly staff and I would come back again but with a reference pic so there is less confusion next time

Gandys was amazing! They took extra care and time, paying attention to details that were requested, and even fixing a bit of hair (after we had left to get cash and came back to pay). Yes, most of the barbers are cash only here. But definitely worth it.

Yelled at by owner - SMH Really?! Never has any establishment I have been in has been so unprofessional. Waste of my time - why would there be an option to make an appointment, show up prior to the appointment time 5 min before to be passed down to whoever was available? The owner sits on his phone and wont even as much as look up then wants me to wait for someone I did not schedule with. Not only that he proceeds to yell- I said she would take you lol pass - POS Everetts finest. If you want decent barber shop better plan to drive to Seattle.

The owner was extremely rude to the customers. People were smoking inside and no one even cared. I booked an appointment there before and it was my first time getting a haircut there so I didn’t know if they would accept cash or card. I went inside and waited for about 15 min when Sean Sr. came to me and asked for my name in a rude tone. I asked him if he accepted cash or card and he responded by saying “card takes too long,” I didn’t have any cash on me and he told me to walk to a 7-eleven close by in a forceful tone, he wouldn’t let me walk to my car. When he looked away I went inside my car and drove off. Gandys Everett has terrible service and the owner is very rude to his customers. I highly recommend that people should not come there.

If youre looking to get lined up with the true Barbershop experience I would highly recommend going to this place make sure you bring cash credit card machine was down the last time I was there.

Ive had the same fade for 6 years. Went into Gandys and explained what I wanted. Not only did the barber say it would look weird, he asked another patron and they both proceeded to ridicule the idea. When I told my old barber about this he said sounds like he cant fade. That was my conclusion. Peace out Gandys.

This is my 2nd trip to The Shop. Seqn Sr. Gave me my cut and line shave. Professional, courteous and on point. Do yourself a favor go there.

TERRIBLE EXPIERIENCE- The first time I went there I thought it was good my haircut was decent although My barber was obviously High I didn’t mind as long as he did a good job But then the second time I once again noticed he was Intoxicated But Regardless My dumbass still decided to get my haircut by him as he had done well before, He proceeds to shave off my sides No sign of any type of fade or what I asked for what so ever and then takes off almost 2 inches of the top WHEN I CLEARLY SAID A QUARTER INCH on top of that he cuts off half of my eyebrow And slants my hairline And I have Loose ends and Uneven sides at The top. Please Make sure your barbers are not high or drunk or what ever they’re on when cutting a customers hair.

Just like the Lynnwood shop, Gandys is laid back and about providing a good cut. Online booking is great, and unlike some shops they accept all major credit cards. This is the new and hottest shop in the Everett area. Stop by and see for yourself.

If you want a REAL haircut, this is the spot. The place is that good, that you are lucky if they take you walking in (im not lying they are so good you have to book your appointment online because they stay packed). If you forget to book, like me on occasion, then good luck sitting and waiting for somebody to have a missed appointment or go early on in the day to be able and get a cut. Besides that, BOOK ONLINE for a legit haircut. You wont be dissapointed. These are like the #HairGods of Everett!!

Not a professional place owner don’t know how to treat customers. They had open alcohol containers. Walked in with hair walked out with a buzz cut and got charged 22 bucks. Never again!

To reach them by phone you have to state your name to a recording - which it appears then they record and use (sell possibly?) for possible telemarketing. I got a call just 15 seconds after leaving my name. Watch out. And you still dont get them by phone, either!

Not a place for a hair cut... is what i was told but in my experience todat i saw 5 open chairs and a full saff one would think that SOMEONE would be available to take a walk in... no I felt African-American walk ins were chosen first over me and my brother who sat for an hour and a half... just to watch hair cuts and the WMBA... it seemed after each hair cut a lunch break was given... and as I post this I can see the good reviews are some of the people that work there.... thats actually kinda sad...

Gandy was actually rough on my haircut kept slapping me with the brush im so dissapointed on how my hair turned out! I get it, i came minutes before closing but there was no need to rush on my haircut! And 7 dollars to wash hair after a cut? Thats BS! Not worth the 18 bucks.

Not a place to go if your white and especially a female wanting a clippers high and tight cut, they turn you away from the mirror, cut it which ever way they want for you, slap product in it, mumble a few things since nobody can actually speak up, your looking in the mirror going, what the actual hell, get home and wash your hair and realize not only was it cut wrong, but extremely crooked, the last time my girlfriend went in there she ended up having to shave her head since no amount of fixing could save what was done, maybe if your an actual friend youll get a good cut, and we tried 4 different barbers fyi...

The service was very bad, I got there if I had a date I said no and then I got to wait then one of the barbers were getting their hair suddenly a white man came and asked if he had an appointment he said he was not taken care of Then I was still waiting when my turn happened I told the barber how I wanted the haircut because he cut my hair like he wanted not like I had asked the job was very bad very bad then I charge the regular price when On Wednesdays if you arrive early the lowest price, I do not worry about the price but my hair I leave horrifying as if I was asking for the haircut for free is not worth what they charge I do not know if they are with all Latinos but give priority if you are White or tan the truth I do not like anything your work I do not recommend it if you are a friend of the barbers you will have a much better service but if it will not be very bad your work
